Let me know how to post images in bitcoin talk and what qualifications must we have?? let me and others who dont know to know. Thank you.

You'll be able to do it soon enough, once you become a Jr. Member. All you are going to need is 2 more activity points, since you already meet the Merit requirement (Jr. Member: >= 30 Activity & >= 1 Merit).

Sometimes you can have pending Activity to catch-up on by simply posting, but if the Activity value remains the same, you’d have to wait until the next activity update which will take place on the 27/07/2022 (see this google sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit#gid=1012758442)).

Edit: So you did have some pending Activity which you managed to pick-up by posting today, thus reaching the Jr. Member rank that is required to post images.

Aside from reaching jr. member rank just like what mentioned above. You can experience it too by having copper membership which requires a fee. You can check this thread ^[1][2] for other benefits of having it.

Here's how you can do it btw by using the image tag.

If you have the required activity already, you can use sites like

https://imgbb.com/upload

But you are not a junior memeber yet, you have to be a junior member because brand new account and newbie can not post image. You have 5 merits, you only lack activity.

For now, you can just post the link, people will click on it to see the image you want to post.

Any image you post now that has not appeared, it will appear immediately you become a junior member.

Now, you ranked up to Jr. member and can post images, without need to buy the Copper Membership.

I assume now you already know how because of some suggestions from the seniors here, and now you can immediately put it into practice so that the knowledge you get today is really useful for you.

There are several image hosting sites that you can try to post images on in forums, including:

• https://postimages.org/ - You can also use the telegram bot to do this ^{[@Postimages_bot]}
• https://imgur.com/
• https://imgbb.com/
• https://zizihub.com/

I tend to use imgur and imgBB, but recently imgBB has had a bit of trouble hosting image. So instead you can use the other three hosting sites above. But I think there are some other hosting sites that you can use, but above are some of the popular ones here.

As I saw your profile you already rank up to Jr. Member and in your current rank will be able to post an image. Visit the links  already provided to our forum mates  to know more about the BB codes and how to adjust the image sizes.
Also I suggest to use imgur to post an image, because imgur is very easy to use and accurate in terms of jpg.
And OP since you have already the links and all you want to know about how to post an image is already been answered it's better to lock this thread to prevent spam. In the left bottom of your topic you found ( locked this topic).

Yeah I also noticed that he is now already a junior rank member as today the 14 points of activity was distributed to the active members and his image posting problem is now solved and he can go on with the same.

But @OP as you can now post images just have the look at the links mentioned above which will help you to gain knowledge about how to post links with image readjustment as posting large size images doesn't look good or you can simply follow this method:


Also imgbb is facing some problems at the time as they are not showing on the forum and you have invalid proxy for it so don't worry about it if you are using it and other alternative for it is https://postimages.org/ or imgur whichever you like more.

Rest good you have earned 5 merits also in few days of registration on the forum so keep this up so best of luck man.

yh. became a jr.member. which format  of image link should be used?? ( bbcode full linked, bbcode thumbnail linked or which type??

If you're using imgur, then I think you can just copy this one and paste it into your post. If you are using imgbb, then you can copy the bbcode full link and remove some unnecessary ones. But now this site is not working to host your images on forum. Here if with imgur.

Cryptornd, merge your two posts because it's against the rules to post less than 24 hours in a row, and then you can lock the thread because I think your problem is solved.

I believe by now, you are already able to post images since you've attained the jr. member rank, just like everyone else have said, i will like to add that posting images on Bitcointalk is very simple and easy.
There are several online image sharing and hosting platforms, but i only use ( ive actually gotten addicted to) imgur, the platform is very easy and user friendly, if you use a smartphone, you can head over to your phones App store and download the imgur app, if you are on pc, you can visit the website on imgur.com (http://imgur.com), you can use imgur with or without an account, so the choice is yours whether to sign up or not.
You can easliy upload your desired images there and copy the sharing bbcode link, comeback to the forum, while making a new post, click the image tag or type ...
posting images here is one of the simplest things to know how to do.

I am just a brand-new member, so about the image, if I post it now and it is to only appear when I reach a junior member, where will the image actually appear?

You can post the images now, but as you stated, they won’t be visible to others straight-off until you become a Jr. Member (or acquire a Copper Membership). People can still see the link, and if I recall correctly, they’ll see the images if they quote your post or browse your posting history.

There's no mistaking it, you've said it right. The OP can post an image but as long as the rank is not a Jr Member then it will only show as a link, but the OP and others will see the image on the post history.

As a Junior Member you're qualified to post image or display image on thread.
Kindly download imgur app from your android play Store and install.
Click to Open the app. From there upload the image you want to post on forum thread to copy out the link.
From there copy The link of the image you already uploaded on imgur.
Go to your thread and insert the link you copied in between the bracket below.

Why are you in hurry to post image? Just calm down. Everything there is season, and time. You are a Jr.member that means you are very close to insert image in your post. Though image make the thread real but your contributions to knowledge and education is one of the priority you must focus as of now. By the way you can get more information on the links PX-Z provide for you. Please read, understand and comment. That is what you will be doing for now

He is already posting the image as he is already junior member with 5 merits so now he doesn't have to wait any longer or go through buying cooper membership and hopes he focus on knowledge as well.

I think this is a question that seeks help, a beginners help on how to work the forum and the forum has designed a board to handle that (Beginners and help B&H) board. No need of having less serious matters like this surface in meta. Besides, this question has been asked too may times and just a quick search would give you results that would be useful to your course.

Meanwhile, I'll suggest you kindly move this thread to B&H and have other newbies who might face some complications as you benefit from it. To do that, just scroll down to the bottom left of the thread and you'll see a move/lock icon. Click on move and it would come up with options to select where to move the thread to, select B&H then proceed to move thread.
