Can free NFTs still make you money? I don't bother to claim free NFTs anymore because I have many that has no good use and value, also NFTs is tanking right now than shit coins, do you still claim free NFTs and are they worth anything? Maybe NFTs will make a comeback some day?

The hype is already gone if it was the beginning of the NFT craze probably most of those free nfts will jump in value. Even the NFT that has a minting cost is a huge gamble it can tank once it will be listed in the NFT marketplace.

If the NFT has a good usecase/utility maybe its a good to claim since its free.

I can but it will give you only pennies. Free NFTs were garbage NFTs have no value unlike gaming NFT that may give you a few bucks. Free NFTs were only a way for developers to attract the demand for free. Remember that when you are getting free NFTs and then you shall mint it and that means if you must pay the fees to get your NFTs. Free NFTs are not even worthy these days to be collected. Free NFTs were only wasting your money and time.
I just curious why people are still collecting garbage free NFTs. they were betting with their luck

NFTs is just like a normal shitcoin when ever you are given a free airdrop tokens and have not listed in any exchange it can be considered worthless till they listed in an exchange then you can trade for valuable asset. I could remembered then early 2018, there were some free airdrop token given to me but no value till date, so most of the NFTs can be seen such way, no doubt there are some that can be found valuable though if the projects furthers their development.

Of course they are a waste of time. Buy getting them free NFT's you are promoting them for free. Creating trading volume, talking about your free pixels, creating all kinds of activity. When some other fool sees that fake/free activity on that token, he will spend his money on it and that will hopefully trigger a chain reaction. At least that's what the owner of the project hopes. Obviously he holds majority of the tokens and givng away maybe 1-2% of the total supply. Which means you are working for free to make the owner rich.

NFT Hype is over, so it is obvious that free NFT are of no worth. Also, those who are buying NFTs are just wasting time as it will be difficult for them to sell them expensively. However, if you have free time, then you may claim free NFT and hope one day they will gain good value. I think in the next bull market, NFT hype will again prevail, so it's not bad if you collect some free NFTs, but make sure you do this in your free time, so in case those NFTs don't have value, you do not regret it.

No, these are just like airdrops of ICO coins before, they are never worth the effort. You may be right, it's a waste of time.
There may be those who got lucky when it was all in the hype a year ago but right now it's difficult to find value in giveaway NFTs.

I'd rather grind my way to create a valuable NFT like in MMORPG games where you have the luck to get a rare item that are sellable to the market where gamers would really buy it in just a short amount of time after you put it on sale.

Yes, the free mint NFT trend is becoming very hot, those who regularly use Twitter can see that the keyword free mint is being searched a lot. Can say that there are very valuable things that can be profitable and there are NFTs that are just trash, one of the NFTs that I've made a profit on recently is reddit's NFT collection, it's not very profitable but 3x profit during bear season is pretty good.
I don't think NFT is dead just because we're in bear season so the hype has cooled somewhat but going forward NFT will still have a small niche to grow.

I think everyone know about Mona Lisa painting right? why this painting is worth for huge money? this because only Leonardo da Vinci can create that's painting. Now can you imagine if everyone can paint Mona Lisa and the results all of them are same? it will become worthless since everyone already have it on their home.

Free NFT is similar like those worthless paint since it's doesn't unique at all. Even the pricey NFT aren't actually a good NFT and we should buy it in order to sell it more higher since there's a possibility if you get tricked by a whale.

I have never claimed any of the free NFTs even on its height. But if you think that there's a good value from those that distributes it freely then it's your time that you'll use so, claim it if you want to.

But if you have the same thought as me and the others that it's a total waste of time, you better allocate your time for something else that's more worth it than of those free/airdrop NFTs.

Based on what I read before there are many user here in forum that participating in free NFT or Let say Airdrop. But not all they earn some money because not all projects or site that they participated is legit because other projects are scam projects that will leave you in the end of the projects. But the positive is that some are earn an enough money that they feel happy in the end of the projects.

Free NFT? I guess I haven't been able to get it because it's often too late to claim that free NFT.
But I wonder what is the use and value of the NFT because I see the price of NFT is unreasonable.
But indeed, the NFT trend can attract people to try to get it even though they have to compete with others.

If the NFTs have interesting real use cases and fundamentals rather than just a simple JPEG or collectible, then it’s worth having it.

In some NFT groups that I belong where some have availed the free mint, they did sell it successfully with a decent floor price or so.

But I would rather mint a free NFT that is unique, out of the box and attractive in the eyes of the collectors aside from its real use cases and fundamentals.

If you are referring to NFT token giveaways, never think it has a market value but rather think it was another shitcoin token arriving in your wallet.

Please keep in mind that it was hard to believe those giveaways and free tokens now. I discourage you from participating in this for this is just a waste of your time and worthless. For many years that I have been here in crypto, I've seen how the market changed. We can see bounties, giveaways, and airdrops are good before but for now, you can no longer expect them anymore.

Compare to those with airdrop token is somewhat different since sometimes we can really see some actual value which we can really earn from airdrops compare to free mint NFT's since from this we need to seek for buyerd before we can possibly earn on our free minted NFT's but we cannot expect to get any value because most of the free can only be sold for $1 or even no value at all.

I think it's the thing of the past but for now those can be rarely discovered unless it came from best team in the market, I mean a known personality or known project itself. Probably you have been into the not so good projects and not that active, that's why you're that salty on those NFTs you got, if it's free then there's nothing to worry about since you haven't invest in it.

I wouldn't mind if it's free as long as I know I haven't invest in it aside from the time. We will never know, some things are meant to comeback though and NFTs are here to stay if I were to be asked.

Even if they do make a comeback as you claim, I don't see those free NFTs as such that will be very profitable. Most people believe that even the NFTs market was even over-hyped when it trended considering the amount some of them cost. You can create and price any picture or art however you wish as an NFT and only if you actually have someone with an interest in it along with its price can you really make something from it, so I kinda doubt how much all those free NFTs can bring.

if it's effortless mate and free so why not if there are some sites or projects that giving NFT's  because what if in the future they grows and surge like what happened to some popular NFT's projects nowadays.? The developers will be so dumb if they will be giving valuable NFT for free. The main aim to give free NFT just to get mass attention from the crypto users. Remember when a project was doing airdrop and this will attract so many hunters that will be starting to spam any place with such airdrop.
The developers were also giving requirements to be eligible to receive the airdrop which was always following and retweeting their tweets.

Some free nft has very high value. My brothers recieved free magic craft NFt through Safepal event and I wonder to see that it worths 2 bnb price . He sold it for 1.5 bnb and this is huge profit for free. Remember that many free nft has now floor proce if more than 2 Ethereum.
For participating in free nft giveaway we should first check the NFt project and Usecase of NFT. Gaming NFTS are worthy and also check for supply. Lower the supply ,high will be price.

I also have these NFTs and they sit in my wallet like a meaningless picture. I'm not sure if they will ever be of any use, because basically it's just a stupid picture. I will not say that I spent a lot of time on them, but only spent a commission for the transaction. And as it was rightly noted here, gaming NFTs can be useful.

I believe there are numerous valuable applications for NFTs, but none of them involve the creation of a collectible keepsake. There is no reason to buy someone else's NFT when you can buy or mint a new one. There is currently a lot of hype in NFTs because people want to get in early on a potential investment. So, of course, they're speculating - none of us can predict the future or whether NFTs will become a mainstream investment tool.

Well it is a simple question of one of the fundamentals of the free market: supply and demand. So if everyone (or thousands of people) can get NFTs for free, then this obviously means that the supply is pretty high and the demand to buy those NFTs afterwards will probably be pretty small in most cases. I think it is the same topic with NFTs than with any other airdrops. I would say that 99% of them will never be worth a penny, very few will be worth at least 20$ or a little more and maybe one out of 10000 airdrops has a real value of 100$ or even more. So you have to decide for yourself if you want to keep on participating in airdrops and giving away your data and stuff.

Many free NFTs are worthless in the market, so those free NFTs are obtained from airdrop programs so only a few free NFTs are priced but not worth even less than $5-$10. You should not join all free NFT but consider the project analysis so that the distributed NFT has trading volume.

They will have no use. The fact that if such NFT was a worthless NFT. People are still thinking if that will worth some money but they can't still accept the fact that if what they have got was a garbage NFT that doesn't have any value. Almost 99% free nFTs are shit.
I don't even believe NFT anymore. It's depend with hype. No hype no value. Why do people need to buy such garbage NFT from others who received that for free?

If there's no usage for that free NFTs then I can say that it's totally a waste of time, so don't bother yourself participating on those airdrop because it's not worth it. Top NFTs can still be here though because they have the value and there's a lot of investors for that. Free NFTs are different, they are just a design on your wallet so don't expect any value for that. NFT hype might still come back though, we are just waiting for the bull market again.

Actually Collectables are all time waste if you are trying earn profits then bro its a piece of Shit only what you need is the real asset to earn money. a lot of idiots on the ETH network want to claim a worthless NFT but it costs around $5 or $10 to claim, the strange thing is that gas costs are always high because of the damn NFT that makes ETH transaction fees always expensive, I guess NFT season is over and only NFT has quality and big names that still survive, for example, in the Galxe project, nowadays many people claim free NFT from Galxe and it is still selling well on the Matic Polygon network.

If we go into more detail about NFT. NFT is an expression of a person that is reflected in the image so its success depends on the enthusiast. NFT cannot be traded like normal coins. So that makes someone less interested in the project. But NFT has also brought a lot of success to crypto lovers.

Unless there is some liquidity on that NFTs, I would say all of the free NFTs are just trash piles that just wasting your money for transaction fees. I have heard that free NFTs had given you something but not that much, it's just up to you to determine if the fee is big or not to actually make free NFTs worth to try or not. Otherwise just ignore it on most cases.

The idea behind NFT is good imo but the execution is really poor which makes it really dead.

I never had or got any free NFT so far. I think that free NFT is just like a free token that is given from airdrop or another program. they will be only trash in the wallet and platform. Many new projects at that time offer their NFT as one of the rewards to get for joining their bounty or certain programs.
But so far, what I am seeing is their NFT is just trash. Most of them are not available for selling. they also have very low value. As we know that NFT projects are complex, but it seems that many new projects offer NFT and this is easy. that is why many NFT from new projects are useless and failed to succeed.

It must be admitted that the possibility is very small to make money from projects that we get for free. The reason why there are coins/tokens
distributed for free by certain platforms, usually only attracts visitors. Because most projects that are given for free do not have value.
That's why many people say collecting coins/tokens from airdrops is just a waste of time, because all we get is shitcoins which have no value.
But if we are lucky some shitcoins that we get for free can provide a big profit, although the possibility is very small. So the conclusion doesn't
matter we still claim free NFT, the most important thing is that we don't expect too high from the NFT that we get for free.

Even if you are being selective and there's no guarante if your free NFT will have no value. I rarely seen free nfts have value in the market. Once i found it and it was having just like a few cents of value which is useless. I think that you shall stop to bet on its since free NFT was actually a useless thing for sure. The developers were using this to lure people to mint it with their money.

Depends on the demand in the market but for sure give away NFT's often doe not have value.  You have to wait until the NFT got a demand then sell it.  If you think claiming NFT is a waste of time, then there is no one stopping you to quit collecting free NFTs.

Personally,  I also think that give away NFT won't have any value.  NFT is different from a token and there are only a few platforms where we can sell it.  Aside from having a few platforms, the demand on NFT is lacking which I think won't be solved anytime soon.  Besides NFT offers no utility except if you are holding Casino NFT that is tied to the company for benefits.

NFTs in general are a waste of time, at least with the free ones you are just wasting your time but when it comes to the ones you have to pay for then you are also wasting your money, I think the concept behind NFTs was first brought forward with good intentions and I thought there was the possibility for the market to eventually mature and grab the attention of serious collectors, but scammers took over the market and now it is nothing more but a joke and with this in mind people should stay away from them.

It's the same as free altcoins where you can claim it without worrying to do many tasks but in reality, they don't worth anything in the future and they've just been created for surveys or to get your emails or something like that. NFTs that are free are also the same especially those who don't have any popularity in the industry but just to join the hype or whatsoever. Well, if it's come from random projects that are just given freely without any utility, then I pass. I think besides it wasting energy, time, and fees, somehow I'm worried about security. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but whenever we mint and sign the transactions, it means we also give permission for them to access our wallet, right? Clicking on any unsafe links means we are prone to phishing trials. I personally very seldom engage in this kind of airdrop. It is always better to be safe than sorry. 

I got some free NFTs last year that I listed for dirt cheap, like 0.01 BNB, and they still have not sold. With AI art being so popular and accessible right now, the NFT market is extremely saturated. I've even thought about creating some AI art and selling it as NFTs but I think it would probably just be a waste of gas. For regular users who don't have a large social media following it was always difficult getting someone to buy your NFTs, now that the trend is pretty dead it must be practically impossible to get buyers and earn a decent income from NFTs.

That is what happens when scammers take over a sector of the market, in theory NFTs would have helped artists which mainly create digital works to sell their art and obtain some profits, but instead it helped scammers to make a fortune while those very same artists still faced the same difficulty, so I do not really mind if NFTs never make a come back as I know that if at some point they do scammers will abuse them once again and then the cycle will repeat itself.

Yight, on twitter there are always airdrops that give rewards for NFT coins, I've participated in a few but they couldn't be sold because they weren't available on the market, it's true that free NFT is just a waste of time and it's better to be bounty hunters in this forum, even though it's small but it can be done said almost certainly we can sell.

It was known before having this kind of strategy to gain attention from the community but for now, it was just been ignored and only a few are joining them. And that is because people are already aware of what will happen to them after the said event, they'll get no price but just a token with no market value. It is not really worth spending time with them and sometimes they will just arrive in your wallet freely without doing anything, yet they are still useless, and no way to sell them.

After the NFT hype died down, I think it's rare that we can get income from free NFT collections because currently the demand for NFT has decreased and many NFTs are no longer valued as they used to, I personally have so far also collected some free NFT from airdrops but none of those who have value in the market.
Talking about the future of NFT, maybe only hype can bring them back to being valuable again in the future.

They've bound in losses because they've only held onto it because of the hype. But looking at those people now that have invested heavily into NFTs, they're at losses.
Too many articles now show how massive the losses are if someone has invested in NFTs and still holds it up to now. Whether the NFT is free or not, you'll see that the mania is no longer there.
It's a waste time for some and there will be folks that won't choose to spend time for it.

I remember when some nft belivers said nft was the future but this proves that nft is no more than a short term hype that created by the whales. Mostly of free nfts were not having any value. This can be created easily and none wanna try to buy free nfts as well.
That makes it has zero demand for now compared when it was still booming and so many dumb people bought garbage nft with high price.

understand the risks if we get free NFT, never get our hopes up too high. Because there's no point in collecting free NFT, it's just a waste of our time.

Of course they are waste of time. Those are "free" NFTs. Everyone receives those NFTs for free, so the price of those NFTs almost worth nothing. Unless you are very lucky and you receive a very rare NFT and for some reason that NFT gets hype, you won't be making anything by collecting those tokens. Also the hype of NFT is almost over. So don't expect to make anything real quick.

Well, there doesn't seem to be much difference between the two, and tokens from bounty campaigns are also junk projects like NFT out there. Participating in the NFT airdrop does not take too much time but it will take you a lot of time and effort to get rewards from bounty campaigns. It can be said that the stuff in this market is mostly junk whether it's bounty campaign or NFT, even investment. Therefore, we should research and select potential projects, do not participate indiscriminately and then be disappointed.

Not exactly if you have gone for some hyped one then you could make some profits out of them or say even few dollars only because you have secured a mint at only transaction fees which is minimum (except ETH) then you can list them at FP above it and make profits out of them.There are some free mints that have gone 3x-5x within few days so the holders are enjoying the huge profits out of them so can't say waste of time.

You can't even call NFT is the same like token. Token is clear has market and it's also liquid. NFT was not liquid. You need to find someone who interested to buy your nft or it will never be converted into the money. Think about that. This is the possible thing to happen with NFT.

I once got a free NFT on Binance, namely Mobox and it was sold for $10,
so for me looking for an airdrop and following it for free is not a waste of time,
because the tasks given are also fairly simple so why waste time? In fact,
I think looking for free NFT can make us earn even though it's not big we should be grateful.

I guess they still think they can get it, and maybe they can sell it one day. We can't stop them because it looks like they still want to do it. Perhaps now the NFT trend is almost over or it's over, but people don't realize it and are still hunting for it. Those who buy NFT as a collection may still be hunting for it because they think that the trend of NFT can still rise in the future. We'd better stay focused on what we're doing right now because the next trend could give us a chance to make a profit.

Most of NFTs are just garbage on blockchain, useful for miners that have processed the mining for transactions and people that have managed the market and no more.
I have collected many nft in various airdrops on different networks. No one has any value...just time wasted.
Let's see what the future holds, but I really don't think there can be many surprises :(

That word "maybe" is very close to nothing. Hoping that one day they can sell them but unfortunately, the chance is very slim. Free NFTs are just receiving airdropped coins that have no market value and it only stuck on our wallet as we have no option to sell them in order to get some at least for a few bucks.

Honestly, NFT projects losses its value and market demand, their time is over, the hypes is done. If ever we bought some of these coins last year, I'm not sure if we still have the chance to at least recover our funds.

The hype of NFTs is almost end now. and many NFT projects are constantly coming in the market and they have created various types of NFTs to sell them at low prices . So free NFTs are not very effective though they are sellable but not very profitable. So I am not very optimistic about NFT project and I have no interest in free NFT

NFT is like a key to unlock a door, like a inmutable stamp of ownership, a piece of art, and more... it's a valuable thing and can't be given for free. However you can transfer it to anyone you know, freely.
Currently I'm playing with Private NFTs. Yes, FULLY PRIVATE  8) I can manage my NFTs inside a DApp which is protected and also become a publisher of new NFTs. Which is sick !! ;D
I fully own my NFTs and nobody knows I am the owner, yet I can speculate and sell them or transfer them freely. I believe this is the next step, since most NFTs are public and that's quite dangerous tbh.  :-\

Another one bites the dust 🧐. Honestly, I never truly understood the maddening rush for NFTs a few months ago as I saw it as needless. Now, many people are beginning to realize that it's not really worth the effort. I read in another thread here how a particular project reneged on sending certain promised NFT to its hunters as part payment, explaining that something scammy went wrong. Well, it's what it's. Every coin or token without a solid utility will always get wiped off when the going gets tough during a bear season. That's what's happening to NFTs and memetokens.

I've never set aside the chance that they will also have some value (accidentally) when the market is bullish. I just remember in the past when a lot of shitcoins rallies xxx during the bull season and make people rich, might this happen to NFT as well. Yes, we never know what will happen to them a few years from now but never expect more from them.

Binance often gives free NFT, I also have more than 3 NFT tokens in Binance and in my opinion it is very good if I hold, a total of 3 NFTs are currently around $ 26, an increase of around 40% compared to when I received the 3 NFT.

the only nft that is worth it definitely coming from the ones that usually requires you to stake their coins, these usually have some kind of utilities like the ones that's being used in game, this nft usually have liquidity than the nft that's based from arts that usually could hardly being liquidated, after all it needs your more efforts in gaining and the games usually could be long lasting ones like games land etc that's still have the liquidity until today like the ones in axie infinity.

most free NFTs are not worth holding. however, if it is free, why not? you are just hoping that one day they will be of value. there may be few NFTs that are indeed valuable, however, as you said, they should have some kind of utility that will make them worthy.
if you have no other things to do, that's fine collecting those free ones. however, if you have other things to do, better allot it to activities that you think you can really gain something.

NFTs were very popular in the market for a few days, but now it is not seen anymore. I have no idea why, but I think it will never become popular again. But NFTs are not used as before.  I don't think like before. But I saw earlier that NFTs used to be sold at a high price, but now they are not sold like before.

Yes, this is correct. Some of the free NFTs today are just a waste of money since you will need to pay for the network fee if they are using ERC20 (ETH). And a lot of Free NFTs just pop up on the internet after they got a trend and maybe they are checking if the value of these NFTs will go up on the auction.

I think the era of NFT is ending since it got many trends which just like the P2E which a lot of people are just thinking it just a scam strategy to make money by the developers.

Mostly they would be worth nothing in the future just like how most airdrop and bounties are worth nothing. Only a few will make a name for themselves then more scammers will begin to introduce their own NFT just to interest investors into giving them their hard earned money. Instead of focusing on claiming free NFT, get a job that pays decently and save money to invest in the already established ones as they'll keep increasing if the hype of the NFT continues on next bull run.

If you are doing such things like getting free NFT from task completion then I would have a different approach on them which says people generally list them for very low price and if you try to sell it you would gain very little amount maybe slightly high to the Transaction fees only so what profit do you make out of them? I have minted some free NFT but not task completion but that were hype and have some utility so that we can have some profit.

Arent free NFT like airdrops where user just need to enter his wallet address and wait? I think yes. Or even worse. Because behind airdrops there are projects or an idea at least. Most of NFT are trash. You may earn some money but that's only coming from a few percents from total NFT available in your wallet. The potential of NFT is not yet known. It's caused by NFT was still experimental. You will be wasting your money for fees.

They shouldn't call it free if you need to pay something before you get it but it's okay to try and pay some fees only if it's on a different network not eth because the fees there are quite expensive. On other networks, I think the fees are only under a dollar and if you got lucky that your nft becomes valuable, the time and fees that you sacrifice is going to be worth it.

The hype for nft is still there. It didn't end but it became more relevant by the time play to earn games and metaverse are introduced because nft is one of their utility. If we are serious about nft then we better invest on those established nft's in the market today. We have a better chance with them than the new nft's which are only distributed for free.

Sadly it is just a waste of time. You need to ask yourself why NFTs are being given for free and what the giver is earning with this. Of course he has to be earning something with this, because nobody gives money for free, or the most obvious answer is that he is simply giving valueless stuff he can't do anything with or which didn't cost anything for him to produce.

Giveaways which really worth were bitcoin faucets back in the early years of cryptocurrency. So you were paid in an asset you knew it had a real value. I've come to realise that most people in this cryptocurrency space just float with the tide. We've been hearing about NFTs and people are not considering the cost implication, because of the few big wins heard about NFTs they waste their little resources hoping for the big wins on free NFTs. I personally haven't seen any free NFT that has been worth the cost of minting and still wonder why people keep claiming. I follow several twitter accounts that are specifically about airdrops and most of the airdrops at this time are new coins, DeFi and NFT, and from the few that I have followed, NFT is indeed coins that are difficult to sell and accumulate in wallets until now.

That is true...you can't rely on earning from them. Though not totally a waste of time because some of them can still be sold in exchanges, however, we can't think about high value.  $5, $10, it only enough for the transaction fee and no left for you, and it was discouraging to see, unlike in the old days like in 2017 where many airdrops can be sold high more than the expected amount which could really make you happy.

I think these free nft's are the same to those airdops (free tokens and altcoins). You will mostly get useless nft but if you got lucky then you can make a fortune with them.

If you value your time then you better use them on something that is more worth it like working in a real job so that you can earn a guaranteed money but if you still have a free time and you don't know how to spend it then you can gamble your way on them and who knows? There were no NFT in 2017 or even if there were few, no one talked about them. It was last year when NFT hype was at its peak. Now again the NFT hype is dead and therefore there is no interest in people collecting NFT or engaging in buying and selling of bitcoin. Glad you learned your lesson because most NFTs are almost like shit coins you claim them and earn them but they aren't useful since there's no exchange or rather no market movement anymore and probably the price won't pump up anymore if you seen one. Few altcoins and NFTs are worth it these days but I don't think if free NFT has some worth in it anymore since it seems like nobody wants to screw up again by investing in a wrong coin.

I have never collected any free nft so I do not have any idea how it will bring money to the receiver but if we compare free nft with free token airdrop, they are basically the same as free airdrop tokens are hardly worth anything compared to a few years back. Am guessing the same thing is happening to free nft, they are worthless, you will only end up with a pile of jpeg images in your wallet that is worth nothing.

I think you are too late already, the people who benefited from free NFT's are the first set of people who got them when there was still a lot of hype about the NFT project, not people who are still seeking free NFT's at this time. Free things at this time will get you nothing, especially when it is a free NFT shared to many people.

Aren't this NFT been sold to ourselves, why will someone pay big for something that others got free especially as they're just pictures of mostly animals that is likely not to go up in price. Even though many people are quite foolish in the space I think buying worthless NFT isn't what they will do especially those that were airdrop to others. With coins, there's already a market for them so if you buy airdrop coins you can easily sell them out on open market but with NFT, someone has to be interested in owning it, which is unlikely.

If it was an art nft or similar then the op is right that we are only wasting our time if we get the nft's from an airdrop because there would be plenty of copies of them. The only way for those types of nft to be profitable is if you are the one who make them and then you make only a very limited amount for them to be valuable. Meanwhile there's also gaming nft's which has their own market and you can sell them just like a token.

Years back when NFTs are still less popular some people were able to get their hands on free NFTs and today they worth over thousands of dollars, the chances of the same thing happening today are now very slim because too many projects introduce shit projects with shit NFTs, if you have to claim any free NFT make sure the project giving it away is outstanding.

Yes i agree with you , i already experienced it from a year ago i mint some  free NFTs, i spend a lot of etherium gas fees on it and still it did not give me any profit. So free NFTs are a waste of time.

I have seen yet another one that was distributing 800 NFT's for free just for bounty, and another 1200 for marketing purposes as well, like AMA's and discord stuff or whatever, basically 2k of it would be given for free, and 8k would be sold. You wanna guess what happened? It crashed, they only managed to sell 400, and the others remained unsold, so they dropped the price and so forth but its basically gone right now.

Long story short, if you want to have a good project, have money and spend that money for marketing. If you are using what you just created as your payment, that worths zero at that moment, it will worth something in the future if you do your job well, but until its released its worth zero, and if you already spending that and not any money, it will not be a good project, no way.

Scammers take advantage of any moment to cheat, the trend that occurs is that NFT makes them use the trend, especially since NFT is very easy to make and make a fake team, then campaign by giving airdrops and most likely is a scam project.

Most of the "free" NFTs are garbage as they don't provide any real use cases to the world. They're only created as a means to attract investors into NFT projects by ultimately "sucking" as much money out of them as possible. It's similar to certain airdrops of tokens with no real purpose in life. Only in-game items and certain digital collectibles are worth it. The NFT hype hasn't vanished yet, so expect a constant influx of "freebies" clogging up your wallet like there's no tomorrow. Just my opinion :)

Any NFT projects that one doesn't work or doesn't earn it is considering as a scam projects, things in the space is highly placed for hardwork and no longer free. I have participated in NFT projects on the discord app, and I tell you this for free, it's stress before one can win whitelist spot on a project. All the grinding and drawing of diagrams issued by the moderators are all processes which one needs to posseses before earning NFTs. In that way, we prepare our minting fee inother to earn more profits from the projects. But some projects are over hype and consider not favourable for investors and traders.

The outcome or the fate of your free NFT depends on how buyers will take it when you sell it from the market, otherwise, it will be a display inside your wallet and it will stay forever. Well I think much of the 'hype' behind the NFTS went away a long time ago when we entered this 'Bear market'.  If we are losing money with our crypto investments then we will of course be losing money sometimes more in our NFT investments.

Just like with air drops for free coins, I hold the same opinion for free NFTS.  They are mostly a waste of time because if these were solid projects the free tokens would be worth more. Mostly these projects giving air drops are worthless projects and I feel the same way about a free NFT.
