Title: BAN APPEAL FOR IHUGBOGO Post by: App_ihug on October 12, 2022, 12:41:41 PM I am user Ihugbogo (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3447372)
My account was reported for plagiarism here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg61095170#msg61095170 By Cantsay (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3435148) My responds to the user who asked a question was not to harm the forum, but just a solid explanation with the help of the research and answer from google, which i copied and failed to add reference link, and the respond my opinion was also added. I have participated for 2, 3 airdrops and i have won some decentralized , web3 domains. what are the potential of them and what are the benefits of holding them. explain me simply if you could plz. Thank you I will understand if my account is Temp restricted, for i have failed one of the community rules and regulation. Pls Mod. if the above listed reason by Cantsay (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3435148) is just my crime i will appeal for my account to be unban, for i have lots to learn in the forum and i believe i also have lots to contribute. Thanks. Ihugbogo (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3447372) Title: Re: BAN APPEAL FOR IHUGBOGO Post by: Xal0lex on October 12, 2022, 12:57:51 PM What a ridiculous excuse. So you were able to copy and paste someone else's text, but you couldn't copy and paste the link. Nevertheless, look how many links you have inserted in your appeal topic. So you know how to insert links. You didn't just copy and paste someone else's text, you also added your own text, thereby appropriating someone else's text.

Less than 8 minutes later: ban evasion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5399515.msg61107568#msg61107568). :-\Title: Re: BAN APPEAL FOR IHUGBOGO Post by: App_ihug on October 12, 2022, 01:26:28 PM What a ridiculous excuse. Yes that's my mistake for not adding link to the source of my information. i believe i also have lots to contribute. You know how to create hyperlinks as seen in the OP and some of your other posts. There is also a post where you quote a saying from your country and you use quotation marks. My people always says "Nah who get food to chop they save"... All that shows that you know about these things. If the copy-pasted parts were in quote tags, italicized, or in quotation marks, like in the example above, people could say you made some effort to make it easier to distinguish your words from the parts that were taken from somewhere else. This could be a case of someone forgetting to put the source link or someone intentionally leaving it out for whatever reason. You will have to convince the admins that it's the latter. You should always copy the source link first so as not to make any mistake that will cost you your account, before you start to copy any other thing you wish to copyI replied to a post today concerning Plagarism 👇 [...] "if you come across any discussion in the forum and you don't know anything concerning what's been discussed instead of looking for an article to copy from why not just read everything that's been discussed so that when next you come across similar topic you'll have an idea of what to reply." Some users behave as if they're gonna get punished if they don't reply to a post. Title: Re: BAN APPEAL FOR IHUGBOGO Post by: Xal0lex on October 12, 2022, 02:32:50 PM Oh, what's this? Are you also evading a ban, it turns out?

Someone finds an alt and following the alt others brings more alts. If it continues and all these accounts are indeed alts then I am wondering how many unique users actually forum has? The forum needs KYC sooner LOL I'll need a special treatment though :-P Title: Re: BAN APPEAL FOR IHUGBOGO Post by: lovesmayfamilis on October 14, 2022, 05:35:11 AM These days it became common. Alternative accounts are not created out of love for the forum and not to increase knowledge commensurate with the number of accounts. KYC won't change anything. As for the OP, he's probably already created a bunch of new accounts for himself. Pandu Geddon, I have also seen general transactions, but it looks like people are dumping tokens into one basket. Dropped out myself from many things already. Quote People are greedy. Alternative accounts are not created out of love for the forum and not to increase knowledge commensurate with the number of accounts. KYC won't change anything. I don't think any of us are against having alternative accounts as long as the intention is not bad for the person. KYC was the joke anyway. |
