after my last two merit games cygan's 'Complete the Word Game and Get Merits 2.0' (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5374881.0) and cygan's 'Crypto Word Jumble Game and Get Merits 1.0' (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5389684.0), here comes the third edition of this very popular game to earn some merits.
it is always given by me 5 words where the letters are jumbled. your task is to sort the letters and solve the searched word.

example: ynagc (>10000 posts) - cygan

this time it is about legendary usernames that you have to guess. as a little help, i will give you the reference of the respective number of posts of the legendary you are looking for
how to get the legendary usernames, you have to find out by yourself ;)

the rules are as follows:

1.   accounts created after 30th september 2022 are not allowed to participate
2.   no cheating, editing, or deleting posts. posts can only be edited if a new post has not yet been created after the post (that is to be edited)
3.   you can guess how many times you want, but you aren’t allowed to post again unless someone else writes a post.  
4.   you can only guess each word once per post. you can’t provide 2 or more answers for the same word, but you are allowed to guess all of the terms.
5.   each correctly guessed word will be awarded with 1 merit for the user who was the fastest.
6.   lower and upper case of the usernames does not have to be considered

Another helpful thread of Cygan to distribute merits to whoever answer the word correctly. I thought the jumbled words are words you find on the internet but I guess I was wrong though it was when I saw the correct answers before I read the rules. I was kind of confused at first when I haven't read the rules yet but I do get it now. I'll wait for round 2 and see if I can guess correctly like others did. I think this will be also challenging just like the word game that Pmalek started before.

I never thought it's the correct answer and I should have posted the answer but there's a reason for it. It is because the jumbled letters are about 15 letters and the correct answer has 14 letters. The jumbled words has three letter Y as shown in the quote above meanwhile the correct answer has 14 letters with only two letter Y. Well, aside from that it's still fun to find the answer since that's what I am after in the first place. Well played guys. Good luck with me in the next round.

Where can you find all legendary bitcointalk members list? Official isn't updated, loycev's list is huge and you can't sort by rank  ???

I thought that the forum’s search function could help, but alas, the results are limited to 34 pages x 30 names per page (1.020 names). The Members>Search for Members option allows you to "Search by position", so if you parametrize the search string to "Legendary" it will provide the said 1.020 names, though that is only a partial list, and you’d still need to copy/paste all page results into a unified document to order and/or search through them. Rather than outdated, it's delimited.

Using an end of 2018 database I downloaded at the time, there were 2.218 Legendary members back then. I normally see around 1 or 2 new Legendary members per week (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4428616.440), so I’d expect there to really be something around 2.400-2.600 Legendary members on Bitcointalk.

The list is small, so you could try to PM some of the usual suspects to see if they can provide you the full list.

I don't have such a list, but if I'd have to make one, I'd start with my posts archive per member (https://loyce.club/archive/members/), and get anyone with more than 750 posts (some margin for failed scraping). This selection includes users who lack Merit, lack Activity, or just haven't been lucky enough to reach Legendary at 775 Activity. That creates this list (https://loyce.club/other/tmp/750_or_more_posts.txt), which is a good starting point to scrape all profiles to check their Rank. The 13106 profiles can be scraped in 4 hours.

I was looking forward to see if aysg76 user will be in any round which I would surely guessed without scripts and even now, I didn't even have scripts to use and I am only doing it using search feature and bpip while some jumbled words are kind of hinting you that it's the correct answer maybe due to seeing the user in the forum most of the time. I don't want to use scripts which is my goal to enjoy finding the correct user with my own effort in finding it.

Observation @cygan, i think there's a mistake here on the assess, my first answer was number 4 which i was the only one that submitted it before any other, then i got the number 3 answer and eduted it on top the number 4 which themepen was abit faster than me in providing answe to number 3 but i was the first to get number 4 correctly, pls check the order of your telegram bot with the other of reply for verification.

This is really hard to prove that you got the answer of number three first and correctly. As you can see, if I start to post this and you will receive a notification in the bot that it will show like this "There is a new reply by Doan9269 in the tracked topic Re: cygan's 'Legendary Rank Jumble Game and Get Merits 2.0'

As far as what I got from notifications, I only get notified with the unedited posts from you guys. Anyway, you can edit a post that is posted not long ago and you won't see any indication of being edited like your post which you can see there's an indicator that it is edited. For the exact time, I don't know the duration you can edit the post that won't show the last edited indicator in a post.

Here's what the bot got from this thread. As you can see, the bot won't get notified by the posts that are edited. Meaning that ThemePen and Cantsay's post are edited right after it was posted that's why there's no last edited indicator.

and when i am back home, i can see the exact times of the edited posts ... but there would be anyway only about the #3 as i have understood correctly

This is quite hard as to whom got the correct answer first about the jumbled words number 3. Cantsay's first unedited post is mole0815 while themepen is JayJuanGee and after quite some research, I found out that you can edit a post within 10 minutes right after it was posted meaning if I posted this right now then I only have 10 mins to edit this post that there won't be an indicator that it is edited and the time it was last edited. Not that it matters since it's up to you to decide. Forgot to mention that doan got the wrong answer for darkstar correct user

This is a very simple issue and needs no debate! By the way, this game is about Legendary Rank Jumble names, and if this is true...Which of the two names will bring out a legendary ranked member if a search is done? Dark_Star or DarkStar_ ? The second issue, if the edit came while @Doan9269 had posted his answer its another issue that could invalidate user1's entry as you need to create a new post and not edit old post as per rules, just my 2cents.

and therefore i will be able to research (but only on sunday) and if so, Doan9269 will still be rewarded with his merit and if there will be any consequences for the further gameplay, i still have to think about it ::)

Once you posted, you can edit it within 10 minutes and there won't be any text shown that it is edited. Number 3 correct answer is not DarkStar_ and you clearly miss my point. It's not about the correct answer of DarkStar_ but as to who posted first and answer it correctly. I can take a screenshot of this post of mine and when I edited this. I will pm you with the edited and when I first posted it.

Not sure why you give an answer to round 11 when it's already answered correctly. You still have chance for round 12 I think because I just checked the post of cygan that it is now up to round 15 but as you can see that cygan didn't give any jumbled words yet for us to solve. If you want to participate then I think you should install telegram and tracked this thread to get notified whem cygan started the next round of this game.

i will start a new round tomorrow with a small change from the previous eleven rounds
namely i will now give 2-3 letters in the right places and you must then guess the legendary user ;)

is there really a certain time each game starts so I can find out. or is it random depending on @cygan online? give me an answer about this so that later I can better prepare and follow along.

it is rather random when the rounds start... it can be that the round then starts in the morning, afternoon or evening

I think that was cygan's intention. I think he wants to make this quiz a little more challenging. I personally think that's a good idea.

You just gave two (2) answers.
Cygan should only be accepting and looking for a single answer to a single item (for each try).
Does any of your professors accept 2 different answers to a single question? Unless it was given to the choices.

It's just not fair, regardless if both exactly fit the blanks.

Some might say it's not fair but you can guess it many times as long as you want but your answer for that word or legendary username in this case should not be provided in same post like this E.g. 2. HI-TEC99,  2. restless. You are allowed to answer all of it in one post and giving answers for number 2 is also allowed but you have to wait for someone to post their answer before you post your another answer for number 2. E.g. ThemePen answered 2. restless, Eureka_07 answered number 2. HI-TEC99 then you can now post your answer again for number 2.

What ThemePen did is not allowed and you can read it in OP rule number 4.

I think this rule fit on the previous rounds means #10 or olders. Because there were the whole name but it was jumbled.
But now we have many options. Ont one letter was opening many doors and many legends name.

As you can see the OP was saying there were a purpose, don't know what was it.?

I guess one of macson answer is correct? but because he violated rule number 4 so his answer was not taken into account, and if someone repeats it, it will also violate rule number 2

I don't think it's cheating. I would say that it's more like he give the correct answer for someone to post the answer. There's nothing wrong if you repeat the answer of other participants as I have done it myself and other participants but only those who post first will get merited. As of now, I don't know if cygan will consider it as cheating but if you ask me I would say it is a spoiler for those who want to answer. If you want to be sure as I would too then I'll post the answer and see what will cygan think and do ( either I get merited or not).

Nope, I did not misunderstand you at all. Can you read my post again?. You even quoted my post and in that post, I clearly explained that I don't think it's cheating but since note3 mentioned the rule number 2 which is mentioned that cheating is not allowed or frowned in doing so. Cygan even posted that using scripts is allowed when it is much more like a cheat where you use a script that find the username. For additional information, this already happened in previous games by cygan and also in previous round of this game (check round #6). I don't know if it's a joke or not but you can also read it in round #6 about using scripts (maybe it is allowed until the round change its type of game from unscramble the letters (finding out the username) to guess the username with less clue. You should read the OP instead of reading the title. Well, I may have something to PM cygan and see the result.
