Title: SCAM ALERT! Don't play on this site --> Spiroll.app
Post by: janggernaut on December 08, 2022, 02:38:29 PM
Today, a bitcointalk user Spiroll (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3519430) just made an announcement about new gambling site, called by spiroll.app

https://i.ibb.co/WgTkZzm/IMG-20221208-211656.jpg https://i.ibb.co/BZxqQ3w/IMG-20221208-211702.jpg

Source : https://loyce.club/archive/posts/6141/61411347.html

When i asked about how much their bankroll, OP said they have $250,000 as bankroll, which is "too small" compared their max winning amount on one of their games, crash game with $5,000,000.

After that, another btctalk user @Zhi Wei asking OP about how's affiliate, commission calculated, withdrawal and asked OP to sign message about his bankroll site.

https://i.ibb.co/svFjms0/IMG-20221208-211729.jpg

No answer from OP, then he edited and deleted the OP ANN post and changed the title to "delete please"

I've archived the deleted ANN as evidence, since OP can't proven the bankroll which is Red Alert for other people as well.

I feel that it's important to mention here that there are a number of new casino sites being promoted on the forum whose operators don't want to provide evidence of their bankroll and how much money they have available for payouts. While we can't say that all of these sites are scams (they haven't scammed anyone as far as I know), there's definitely reason to be cautious and something to be aware of before depositing at any new casino. The bottom line is that if a casino operator doesn't want to show proof of their financials or answer questions about their bankroll, then there's probably something fishy going on.

This casino site was created 11 days ago and there is no information about the domain registrant, and what member @Spiroll did indicates their bad intentions, and it is good that you archived the deleted ANN topic, there are a lot of honest casino sites in the gambling section, just everyone should be careful before Playing on any casino site and doing his own research before he deposits any funds, and it is good to ask about all the inquiries that are in your mind about the casino site and about bankroll and about everything and through their answers and what they will do after that you will decide for yourself if they are honest or not.

This domain is newly registered. It's not a problem that the new domain registration is done, but they can't answer any of the questions for which he ran away by deleting the ANN. This is a warning to stay away from them. Now they may be gone, but they are likely to come back with something else. So we should keep an eye on their activities, so that they cannot succeed in their target.

Deleting the OP instead of addressing the queries means there's something they are hiding. Maybe they're hoping that the mods delete the whole thread so that it's dead and buried and nobody searching about spiroll.app will be able to see what has been exposed. I wouldn't trust them with even a dollar.

Perhaps they deserve a neutral tag with a warning or is it an overkill?

Considering the way he acted after getting asked some tough questions, I seriously doubt that they even had $250,000 bankroll. In the best case scenario this is one of those 'fake it till you make it" casino scenarios where they start with minimum amount of money, hoping  that no one will win big until they have bankroll big enough, so something similar to that Bitlucy failure. What is more likely though is that its just a straight up scam and they were caught lying early with that $5,000,000 jackpot claim nonsense, made so big in order to attract unsuspected players.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Yeah, i think it's just like another scam site. We know lot of new gambling site also doing that, instead of prove their bankroll, they prefer to run away and deleting all evidence so we can't trace them (luckily we have loyceV's data).
That's also one of their goal to attract people come too and playing on there, build up more money until they have enough bankroll to prove they have more money than max winning amount.

Thanks to other people as well who searching their website data

I was thinking the same thing. Having only 5% of the maximum profit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5426851.msg61411690#msg61411690) as bankroll means they'll be forced to scam when someone wins big. A sustainable maximum for the profit should be about 1% of the bankroll, in this case (assuming they have $250k) should be $2500. That's 2000 times less than the current maximum.
I'm posting here as Reference link for the neutral feedback I'm going to leave. I kinda think they deserve a Newbie warning Flag too.

What's with all those broke people starting "casinos" lately? :o

I remember losing around 30-50$ when I participated in this campaign of Spiroll.app "https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5424047.0"

Their game wasn't showing provably fair at the time, and some members refused to participate due to that reason.
I should've avoided playing more than 2.5$ or even refusing to play.

UPDATE: After they (Spiroll) deleted their ANN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5426851), now they have a V2 topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5428016.0) related to their platform, please always be careful and do your due diligence before playing on their platform.

Hello everyone! I was really upset when I saw this thread. It is very offensive that you slander without knowing why the topic was deleted. Yes, I deleted the topic. Our developer team found a big bug and I had to delete the thread hastily. After that i stopped the website. You are right in some of the comments. Big win was so high and we decreased it to $20.000. But we didn't scammed anyone! Playing or not is up to you. But before you slander, you have to ask the reasons. Website is working as well. You can check https://spiroll.app Thanks to everyone. You can see my messages with @Royse777

Well you are correct, its depends from people who want to play or not. This is my warning, if they insist want to play on your site, that's their choice. I'm just writing my opinion to warn people.

So you're saying we shouldn't exercise our freedom of speech because it offends you (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5213722.msg53482650#msg53482650)? Maybe the internet isn't for you!

So "only" twice your bankroll? Don't you see the problem with that?

That's why you don't have negative feedback yet. But a warning is in place, because clearly you don't understand how low the maximum profit should be compared to your bankroll.

Max bet is $100 on crash. If it reaches 5000x user can win $500.000. It's a small chance. I don't see problem.

You don't see a problem with potentially going bankrupt and scamming a big winner? What you should do, is limit the max win on crash to $2500. That way, someone can win it from $0.01 if it reaches 250000x, but at least you'll be able to afford it.

What makes you think the casino business is for you? Easy money?

We decreased the maximum win limit to $20.000. Thanks for your advice.

He indeed did some promotion for them, here is the thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5424047.0).

It is a good thing that you listened to Loyce and decreased the maximum win to a more reasonable amount considering your bankroll size, but the fact you had to be told that by someone else and your problem to understand how dangerous is to have win limit set too high makes me believe that you (by you I mean your whole team) have no idea how to run online casino, and this can only end badly for everyone involved.

Tbh, it's not "safe" to play on a site which keep changing the max win amount. They can just change it whenever someone lucky to hit and won huge amount, then they changed the max win amount and that winning becomes invalid.
There wasn't any message or post too( on this forum, not by tele chat) about them to lock because they want to fix the "bug" (according their story).

Bankroll was $250,000 then max win was $5,000,000 now bankroll is unknown and max win is $20,000. Up to you guys, unless @Spiroll can sign message from site address which has that bankroll

Don't worry. Users can see maximum profit on https://spiroll.app/faq page. If we change the maximum profit users will know this. We will add assets proof soon.
