Faith, hope, unemotional analytics or the ability to see the future? :D

Pretty simple — I simply think that bitcoin is a great investment that could likely give me a good multiples in ROI sometime in the long-term future. That's pretty much it, besides things like having self-custody of my funds and stuff.

Please, answer only those who really own at least 1 bitcoin
And how would you know if I own or don't own 1 bitcoin if I choose to lie?
It's an open forum mate, if I don't currently own up to 1 bitcoin but am a true bitcoin believer, I believe I should have a say most especially if I feel my contribution to the topic of discuss is important.

So like I already pointed out, I don't currently own up to 1 bitcoin, but the current amount I own, I've been selling it and buying more back as a means of making profit pending when we will see another major bull run, selling and buying simply means, selling it high, and waiting for the price to come down a bit, then buy back in again gaining a lite more bitcoin from the profit made.

People who currently own/hold large number of bitcoins are the big boy of the industry, we call the whales, they can hold and forget their bitcoin in their wallet for years, because they already have good businesses fetching enough money for them, they have no need checking the price of bitcoin always like you and I.

You do not need to have worth of 1 bitcoin in fiat before you can be able to buy bitcoin, you can have $100 or lesser amount to buy bitcoin, the value will increase and the ROI would be in accordance to the amount invested.

If bitcoin price has already dropped and some people sold their coins, they are making a mistake that they will realize when the market is more volatile and bitcoin price is moving to the up direction, this may happen soon.

Faith, hope, unemotional analytics or the ability to see the future? :D

Believe! I have seen many falls of bitcoin but never sold because of price drops. I only did sell if I have any financial reason. I don't even check the price for months. All now I have is for holding for a longer period of time. Next year if the market starts to move I will transfer some into the exchange, until then I have no worries about the price.

And i always wonder what motivates those people
They perfectly understand what BTC is all about, one doesn't need to have to see the future to know that BTC is not going to collapse like altcoins, in the short term there could be correction in the price, but people who hold even during correction periods know that BTC is a long-term investment, and as long as they have not invested with money they would be needing soon, they do not have to be scared of anything. Another thing that motivates people to hold BTC is because they want to spend it like a currency that it is, and they wouldn't turn down the offer to spend BTC rather than fiat to any merchant that is open to accept it.
Please, answer only those who really own at least 1 bitcoin
Though i answered your op, i do not have anything close to 1 BTC.

I don't own 1 BTC, but trust me, I don't really care about it.

Bitcoin is, perhaps, the greatest technological invention of the century. I mean it!

Imagine someone who invests in gold. They have to rent facilities to store it and guards to guard it. There is a storage issue. Bitcoin fixes that.

Imagine someone who holds a large amount of money in their bank account and suddenly, their country decides to put capital controls and people can't withdraw their money. There is a liquidity issue. Bitcoin fixes that.

Imagine someone who decides to send a payment to Africa and the banks require a 12% fee. There is a huge remmitance issue. Bitcoin fixes that.

Imagine someone who wants to prove ownership of their property. There is a bureaucracy issue. Bitcoin fixes that.

Imagine someone who sees their local currency being devastated by the exchange rates against dollar or euro. There is a massive attack on the local currency. Bitcoin fixes that.

Imagine someone who holds lots of money in a bank account. If the government decide to inflate the monetary system, they can print money, causing people's money to lose its value. Bitcoin fixes that.

Imagine lending money to someone and having to trust that they have the money to repay you. There is a trust issue. Bitcoin fixes that. In fact, Bitcoin solves the double-spending problem. Kudos to Satoshi and Adam Back.

I believe in Bitcoin to be a superior monetary system, where everyone is equal. It's not about you and me, it's not about the people that have 100BTC, nor for those that have 100Sats. Every single one of us can be sovereign and maintain their own keys and their own nodes.

Finally, Never forget how it all started "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" - Satoshi Nakamoto.

Having one Bitcoin now, i think that is not easy because of how Bitcoin falls this time around, i believe that why bitcoin price is falling is same as the Bitcoin stored is depreciating in the value but people don't know exactly, i believe that Bitcoin price affect the price of it, so let us that the people who can have 1bitcoin is those people who buy Bitcoin surplus and stored when the price was lower than the current price and kept it for the long time

From among this thread you mentioned, I see btc doubters lol. What majority of them don't understand is that btc investment is not like ponzi that promises to make you rich in overnight. Btc is gradually and a long time project that requires patience from investors. I think trading will be more suitable for their likes. The earlier they realize this, the better for them.

^ It is hard to accumulate 1 BTC now because it is very expensive, if you have, you are not a regular investor because you have that large sum in your wallet. I have under 1 BTC, a small amount that only I can afford to hold, I did not easily get panic because I know already the market sentiment and the market movement. I have been here in the crypto market for how many years so now I fully understand if there is a market crash and learned how to hold my asset while the market was in a bad situation. BTC has a smaller fraction than you want, there is no need to have a whole number because that is very expensive, you can even own a worth of $5 in your wallet.

Bitcoin prices corrected to 16k - 17k region, which is way cheaper than last year’s price of 50k and even though the price of 1 bitcoin right now is relatively cheap I don’t think it is any easier for people to buy 1 bitcoin. In my experience, people who talk about owning 1 bitcoin don’t really have any bitcoins and blame the so called high cost of 1 bitcoins as the reason why they haven’t bought yet.

Whether I hold 1 or less or none, I am not confident telling it to anyone.

It is better to keep it private when it is all about someone asking how much I've got.

I feel uncomfortable knowing someone knows how much I have.

For now I still don't have up to 1 bitcoin in my portfolio but on the other hand with the current market conditions which are still crashing with DCA which I have been doing for the last few months my portfolio condition is much thicker than before for bitcoin and of course this is good enough for my heart.
Speaking of faith, I wouldn't be here and buying DCA from a few months ago if I wasn't sure about it, when I did this of course I had real faith about bitcoin for my future. Even with some crashes and some fuds at the moment when a lot of people are more active calling for bitcoin is a scam but I like this because being in a bearish area like now I have more time to continue investing.

Having 1BTC is really big thing. In the past this is quite common that each and everyone who wish to hold 1BTC were able to do it. With the increasing adoption and growth in the global market the demand have increased. With time holding atleast a little serves to be a big investment.

You're right about privacy, but I feel fairly anonymous here.
While I wouldn't brag around in a bar about it, or walk around town with a t-shirt saying that I own bitcoin, I can say here that I have more than 20 bitcoins. It's not like any of you is going to trace it back to the exact location of my home and drill a hole in my leg to get me to send it to you :D
It's obvious that many Legendary members here own more than 1 bitcoin. You don't need to make them admit it in a thread to know it is so.

Dear TaxMan, I do not own any bitcoin at all. My wallet is so empty...

People don't sell their bitcoin to thin air, they sell it to someone else. That means many people also bought bitcoin as the price dropped.

And i always wonder what motivates those people
Faith, hope, unemotional analytics or the ability to see the future? :D
The reason is simple: being realistic and having eyes!
Bitcoin is not a cash cow to make you rich nor is it made for profit making. It is a global currency that is made to be censorship resistant and help you gain your financial sovereignty. People who don't just panic sell their bitcoin because price dropped are mostly those who see bitcoin this way. Those who sell are the ones who thought they could become a millionaire overnight by holding a fraction of a bitcoin.

    - Many communities in this industry have Bitcoin, we just don't know how many or how much they hold.

I won't deny that I only have a little bit of bitcoin, I don't have 0.05btc. Because most of my holdings are altcoins such as Shiba Inu, Polygon, Bnb, and Xrp, then the others just don't make any money or just don't suit me. But if I only have a lot of money or I'm just rich, I will buy more than 1

@OP I don't own 1 Bitcoin, but it doesn't mean I'm not a strong holders. If you think a strong holders are only people who own at least 1 Bitcoin, you're wrong. Actually there's many careless big holders who're either weak hands or hold it on centralized exchange.

Because most of my holdings are altcoins such as Shiba Inu, Polygon, Bnb, and Xrp, then the others just don't make any money or just don't suit me.
My advice is you need to sell those centralized shitcoins and convert it to Bitcoin. There's no use cases at all, especially Shiba Inu which is only a meme coin, BNB is a centralized coin that the price depends on their exchange, and XRP is a centralized coin that work like traditional banking system.

Maybe they need fiat that's why they have to sell something, unfortunately it could be when the price drop. Or they simply panic.

We just need to be resilient and try to save as much bitcoin as we can, because maybe in the next couple of halvings, it will obviously very difficult to acquire it thus pushing the price even higher.

I guess these 2 are the reasons why people are still holding large amounts of Bitcoins despite the huge drops.

When the price of bitcoin falls, not everyone loses. Consider the holders since 2016. there are still continue to hold right now. I believe you are just thinking of new holders because I am sure some of them are newbies, and those are the ones who have already sold their bitcoins, but those who have remained holding are still hoping or trusting that bitcoin will break its ATH, which all of us wanted, and they have just been holding it because they knew they would be making a profit soon and also because they are able to control their emotions even if they are losing.

I have a lot of mining gear worth more than 1 BTC at this time.

Very cool. How much profit you are generating in Bitcoin per month using your mining rig? I have the money before too that I planned to purchasing mining rig but the electricity cost here is not profitable for this kind of business. So I decided to just trade to increase my Bitcoin holding which didn’t go as planned. I’m wondering if I will be in profit if I just allocate my money on mining rig instead of the risky trade.

How long do you get ROI?

There is one big flaw in your thinking. If many people sold their bitcoin after the drop there are also many people that bought bitcoin at the same time. So there are still 21 Million Bitcoin owners, minus the lost coins and people that own more than one bitcoin. In any case bitcoin is a long term investment and most people here would at least own part of a bitcoin.

No, I don't own one but I feel entitled to write on this. It's not even about having one "whole" Bitcoin that should be a focus for concern but the underlying interest in it. One could own one Bitcoin and sell off in panic tomorrow and decide not to back while there could be someone who owns bits but keeps DCA on it. Interest matters in all we do.

By the way, why is there any need to make owing one-Bitcoin a yardstick to those whose responses you seek? Are you discriminatory in real life?

Although owning more than 1 bitcoin, I do not think that holding a lot of bitcoins is a diamond hand, holding a few bitcoins is a weak hand. That's not right. Strong holders are those who hold bitcoin the longest regardless of the amount.

Because most of my holdings are altcoins such as Shiba Inu, Polygon, Bnb, and Xrp, then the others just don't make any money or just don't suit me.
My advice is you need to sell those centralized shitcoins and convert it to Bitcoin. Each person has a different investment style, I do not recommend he sell them, I believe that before holding, he has researched and has his reasons. But I can tell, he made the mistake of entering this market with a portfolio that didn't have bitcoin. He needs to add bitcoins to his portfolio, and now is also the perfect time to buy bitcoins as they are near the bottom, and too cheap to buy.

If you are asking people over here whether they own up to 1 bitcoin, do you as well have a bitcoin if i may ask?
If you must know, I may decides to hold about 1 to 11 bitcoin this doesn't mean Mr A or B would have same patient with me to hold as well they could decide to sell parts of it to recover their capital while leaving their profits. All this depends on our investment plans either be it for long term or short terms and for those on short term would likely sell of when their predetermined time have been achieved.

1 btc = $16,558 at the moment. I can't afford 1 bitcoin right now but I'm just trying to accumulate as much as I can.
Of course it's fine about the amount, but I don't think I would be willing to tell anyone the amount. Bitcoin is money in another form, so I don't think people need to tell the public how much money they have in an account.

Stay wise in managing your finances and protect your financial privacy. There are many people who want to get that from you, even you never know who they really are. That's just one of advice that we should trust, for the safety of you and your funds in the account.

How long will you keep in search of those having 1 bitcoin to answer your, regardless of either below one or above the one bitcoin as said, all that matters is the interest for profitability, everyone investing in bitcoin has the mindset to make some good and reasonable earnings from their investment over time, it takes a decent and disciplined mind to adjust and save up, onvest and hold till the maturity time, enough of the time whereby money will be kept in fiat and it keep loosing value with time, financial freedom is all we want and bitcoin gives it irrespective of the invested amount.

There are most people who can't even manage a bitcoin immediate there's a little wave in the market they will always panic and sell, so is not mandatory everyone must have a bitcoin and its a personal choice either to hodl bitcoin. This made me flash back to a friend of mine then days, he bought about 30 Bitcoin when it was very cheap around $1000 and he was boasting of it to my greatest surprise as he told me he has been receiving messages of investment that investment this.. ect.
After which he learned to be secret without revealing the exact amount his was then holding.

The reason for which many people are holding their coins is due to the marketcap of the coin. I mean we already witnessed what are Bitcoins capable of. At first no one thought Bitcoins will touch 69k usd, but it did and left everyone in surprised. Similarly we have done enough estimations, calculations and predictions for which we know Bitcoins are more valuable than what is currently now. It will take time, but yes at last it will be really great. And regarding how many Bitcoins each one of us holding? Then I do say it’s confidential for many people and they don’t want to share it to the cruel world.

But i had to rephrase my question "people who once had at least 1 btc"
You're still making the same mistake. Why are you tagging it to one Bitcoin. Why don't you just ask if they own Bitcoin (sats) without attaching it to quantity. The way I reason this is like bestowing wisdom on a man simply because he's wealthy. So, you get to judge and accept what people say now and think it's correct based on the fact that they own 1 Bitcoin or once owned it? Do we treat people based on what they have or on who they're?

I don't have a full 1 bitcoin yet, but I never sold it even a bit during this bear market. I'm trying to accumulate more while it's cheap and my goal is to make 1 bitcoin before bitcoin goes up again on the next halving. I am working non-stop to accumulate bitcoins. I think if we miss this opportunity, we will have to wait 4 to 5 years before we can see a new opportunity.

I don't own 1 bitcoin but I currently hold fractional bitcoin although the recent downturn has reduced the value of my portfolio but I don't plan to release my bitcoin any time soon, as I firmly believe when the market recovers it will provide a return which is good for me, as we've seen before when bitcoin hits ATH it's very profitable for long term holders and so far bitcoin has really proven to be one of the most profitable investments over the long term.

Why would anyone honestly answer such a question, if we know that it is not wise to talk about such things publicly? In addition, the people who have been in all this for a very long time are certainly not so stupid that they failed to understand the potential of Bitcoin for the future, and consequently did not sell most of the BTC they owned.

For those who were weak and sold, the bear market is a perfect opportunity to get back into the game, unless they are waiting for additional discounts.

One thing i do not do is to categorize Bitcoiners, either one category being better or something like that; i think we are all Bitcoiners and as long as you buy, sell, hold, spend BTC you are contributing to the BTC network in your own way.

Anyway people who hold in centralized exchanges aren't technically holders, they can be called 'lenders' because unknowing to most of them they have lent their BTC to these exchanges who would convert them to whatever they like and use it to invest in something else for profit. How can they be said to be holding BTC when the possibility of them ever getting their coins back rests on how successful the investment made by the centralized service is.

Hello friends
Do you currently have at least 1 bitcoin?
~snip~

Why would anyone honestly answer such a question, if we know that it is not wise to talk about such things publicly? In addition, the people who have been in all this for a very long time are certainly not so stupid that they failed to understand the potential of Bitcoin for the future, and consequently did not sell most of the BTC they owned.

For those who were weak and sold, the bear market is a perfect opportunity to get back into the game, unless they are waiting for additional discounts.

Not everyone will be willing to say if they have upto 1btc or not.
Many people prefer to remain anonymous with whatever they own which is one of the main keys of bitcoin.
We should not blame weak hands who sold their coins because the bear has been so long.  People need to survive amidst bear market.

I almost have 1 bitcoin ;D
But I had more than 1 bitcoin a few years ago and I sold it at the highest price ;D
My motivation to collect more bitcoins is to get more profits because the bitcoin price will touch its highest price again.
The belief of bitcoiners is so strong to be able to see the price pass past the ATH peak yesterday and while we don't know when that will happen, we are still confident.

Nope because I diversify my investments, also I don't have that much of an asset to put in one bucket alone. For sure most of the people here are doing the same thing except for long term holders which do most of the time prefers few cryptorrencies only to be held for a long period of time.

I found my people, LOL.
This is one of the hardest thing to do in this industry; knowing when to sell. Bitcoin before has a low market price and many people had such amount but at this moment, even if the market price is lower, it somehow seems that earning 1 whole Bitcoin is a hard thing to possess. On the other hand, hesitation to have one, would be a regret afterward once the market recovers. So to those who has the capability to own one, think of the advantages of doing so.

Please, answer only those who really own at least 1 bitcoin

Why only people who own at least 1 bitcoin? What about those who own less than 1 bitcoin? Honestly, owning 1 bitcoin these days is not easy for many people, and I think we don't need to make such a distinction. Owning more or less does not matter, what matters is how long you will hold it. I don't want to share my bitcoin holdings, but my goal as well as everyone here is profit, bitcoin will definitely increase in the future, and it will bring profit to those who believe in it.

Whether I hold 1 or less or none, I am not confident telling it to anyone.

It is better to keep it private when it is all about someone asking how much I've got.

I feel uncomfortable knowing someone knows how much I have.

That's a lot!!!

How I wish that I've got that much as you. But that's me, even if I feel anonymous here, I still don't want to disclose it with anyone.

Yeah, most legendary members here have got that much but I don't think that many of them managed to retain and keep that much for themselves just as you.

Almost most people in this forum have bitcoin, but for the amount of ownership it does not have to be published in your post

If you/they are new people and still enough beginners know the investment in bitcoin, then the answer is yes !!!

But of course not, when you/they already know bitcoin as a long-term asset capable of maintaining investment value. What I mean is that people who sell bitcoin when the price drops are those who don't understand bitcoin investment, so when the price starts to fall they panic and try to get out of the market by selling bitcoin, actually what they have to do is wait for the next period for the price to increase.

It's simple to answer the question you ask?
1. Bitcoin is a promising investment asset in the long run.
2. Bitcoin is able to maintain investment value.

The long process that Bitcoin goes through makes people believe more in this promising asset, the many advantages and uniqueness of its journey. Bitcoin is also independent, there are no securities that can control it, so everyone has the freedom to choose investments according to the stages and strategies they want.

I think could be motivated when looking some one sharing or publishing they have owning more than 1 Bitcoin, but I respect with the other in this condition right now seems difficult how to earn 1 Bitcoin.

I want having more than 1 Bitcoin in this year and begin from tomorrow until three or four months later should 1 BTC already in my wallet, what ever have to do I promised for my self can earn more Bitcoin this year.

There are people who own more than one Bitcoin and still go about their daily lives. Owning a Bitcoin and even one is one of best assets one can decide to own.
I really don't have upto 1 Bitcoin ever in my possession but I'm certain as time goes, I really long to own some Bitcoin and not just even holding but holding for a long time.
I have always believed in Bitcoin and despite the risk associated with Bitcoin, people who invests in it recently now also believe in Bitcoin not just on assumption but on fact because Bitcoin has in the past done about $64k and now people are seizing tye opportunity to stock with the believe and hope of it rising soon.

I don't have a 1 bitcoin but I have holdings like 0.21456 bitcoins. I have seen many higher markets but have not sold there either. I expected more but my hopes were not fulfilled. But the biggest mistake I made was staking the USD by selling when the market was high. So now I could buy 1 bitcoin. But I hope I get something big from here. I'm holding long term and won't sell without seeing a peak in Bitcoin.

Buying and selling are continuous processes, after buying you sell and after the selling you make the profit to buyback once again. You could check the internet to sell how many wallets actually have more than 1BTC right now.

Also dont forget that those who having no method to sell their coins end up accumulating more than they can actually afford to keep - not saying that bitcoin wallets have limits but still, they are out of luck to convert to fiat and spend for groceries and all. Such people might have more than 2,3,4..... BTC ;D

I don't think it's important to say how many bitcoins you have, do you believe what they say and it could be a lie because it's not important to answer.
and of course many people are trying to get 1 botcoin but all of that has many different stories, I mean there are also many of them who are looking for income from bitcoin to meet their real needs they really want to have 1 bitcoin but there is no choice, some are trying to collect bitcoin so that it becomes 1 bitcoin and there are also those who have more than 1 bitcoin.
and I believe most people who own bitcoin, especially those who have long experience or have strong faith with bitcoin and judge that bitcoin will be big in the future. And they will hold it at any price and will take profits to buy any dips, and hold it long term.
and those who are selling bitcoins on dips i think they are newbies have no experience and don't understand bitcoin very well and panic selling on dips which is actually the best moment to collect holdings to get 1 bitcoin as it is being discounted. And 1 bitcoin now will equal 1 bitcoin later or future.

of course not right?
I don't really have 1 bitcoin but I'm close to reaching it to round up to 1 bitcoin.
Selling at this time is a loss for me and a stupid decision that I will regret. My motivation is to align with those who profit at the highest price, especially since this is the new ATH of all time, yes, although many incidents made me almost sell it, either in a storm in the market or in my personal life in situations when I was down, but apparently I was able to get through it. Until today, that dream is what made me strong in doing HOLD and that dream is my goal in 2024 moment.

For me bitcoin is a big investment for the future even though it is experiencing a decline but surviving until the achievement of ATH is the best choice, with the current situation I never panic and this has often happened in the crypto world, confidence and hope are certainly there but to see the future it is not something we can be sure, so we stick to our respective stances and those who sell bitcoin at a time like this are a very wrong decision and they will definitely feel great regret in the days to come, and this has been proven in the last year.

Yes, you are right, no one will say how many bitcoins he has, unless it is a public company, but how much a person has personally does not want to say. This is tantamount to saying how many dollars someone has. Although there are different people, someone openly talks about how much he earns and what he has, and someone does not want to talk about it. One bitcoin is a good investment, but you still want to have more, because there are never too many bitcoins.

Selling a Bitcoin after a big drop is a ridiculous move but I think the only ones who do this are noobs who don't know the potential of BTC yet. Maybe they think BTC is going to end so before their investment goes zero, they already sold some so that they still can get something. Veterans and Experts are the ones who can HODL their coins strongly but they do also sell some of their coins whenever the bull run arrives.

The huge profit that they can get is the main thing that motivates them to HODL. The three traits that you said which are; Faith, Hope, and Unemotional Analytics are also needed to be able to successfully HODL for a long time. What is only fictional there is the "ability to see the future". None of us possesses that skill yet.

Almost means you were closed to the figure but could not realized it. We thank God God that you sold them at the time, bitcoin was high, that means you made profit from it.. everyone is gathering bitcoin now for the time of high again to sell.  Yes o, the believers of bitcoin have the strong motivation that bitcoin will go up again.

savetheFORUM you can't just say that selling bitcoin after the big drop is a ridiculous, you know that family background are different so someone that has extra income would or will never sell his or her bitcoin in the dip but circumstances might made the person to sell and solve the problem at the time.

we call the whales, they can hold and forget their bitcoin in their wallet for years, because they already have good businesses fetching enough money for them, they have no need checking the price of bitcoin always like you and I.

OP, I hope you read that part of @Fivestar4everMVP's reply? People have their drives for bitcoin investment, but everyone's aim is to achieve a good ROI. On the long run, some people don't hold for long because they have weak hands; some sold at a better price than their cost; some sold at a loss because they needed the cash; and some sold due to panic; but those that still hold are holding because they have faith, they have good businesses, and they have other streams of income that make them feel less concerned with their holding.

Holding more than one Bitcoin equivalent cryptocurrency, but not the full one Bitcoin. Of course, a good part if my portfolio continue to hold Bitcoin. Because I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. So invest in some strong altcoins that will rise alongside Bitcoin. The year of accumulation was last year. So, yeah, I made some money and bought some coins, including Bitcoin. I'm going to keep it until I get a good profit from it. Even if the market falls further, I will not sell.

As someone who consistently participated in campaign signatures ever since I joined this forum in 2017, based on my blockchain records, I have earned at least 0.7 BTC in my lifetime. However, such BTC has been liquidated as I have used majority of them throughout the years in order to fund my education through the purchase of various educational materials. Though I do have regrets of NOT saving and HODLING them, in retrospect, at least I was able to indirectly help in supporting my family in alleviating the expenses at least on my end.

Hopefully when I get the opportunity to earn income, I would be able to purchase BTC on a consistent basis for my long-term savings.

The year of accumulation is predicted to continue. Most of the users have got the same thinking as yours. Everyone doesn't like to have everything invested on bitcoin. Having a diversified portfolio is good, but this have got additional risk than having everything in bitcoin. Because in recent months we've encountered big number of cryptocurrencies which are predicted to be strong have ended.

Whether it is bitcoin or altcoin, we need the patience to experience the good profit out of the investment. For now the market is moving within $17k and this can drop down or move high. It is our responsibility to act wise and book the profit at the right time.

One of the first rules of bitcoin that was taught to me by Andreas Antonopoulos is to never tell anyone that you own bitcoin.  I know that I've broken that rule here on bitcointalk before, but I've never divulged in to how much I actually own nor would I ever nor should anyone ever!  It's no one else's business how much bitcoin you own, whether they admit they own 1 or 10, so leave that information to yourself.

Yeah. Looks like the time for hoarding Bitcoin is going to continue this year! But before you jump on the crypto bandwagon, don't forget that Bitcoin can be a wild ride, so make sure you've got a solid game plan and aren't afraid to hold on tight. If you are willing to hold on for the long run, then it can be a very profitable investment. The important thing is to understand what type of investor you are and how much risk you can take.

When it gets back to a dollar I might buy one just for posterity
Bitcoin will back to one dollar, you wait for that good time.  Just kidding, you will never get that chance in your life.  Because when bitcoin becomes zero then the word bitcoin will be worthless in the world.  In particular, different experts have given different theories about Bitcoin.  They predict that Bitcoin will surpass 100k dollars after 2025.  Moreover, if you are currently experiencing a fall in the price of Bitcoin in the market, you will not experience such a fall in price in the future.  So if there is a chance you can buy some bitcoins.

Not something or ability to see the future (nobody does lol), but the ability to anticipate what the future holds for Bitcoin and the ability to accept the possible losses once your anticipation fails you. There's a bit of faith in there, but hey we're in a highly speculative market, but the good thing about Bitcoin is, it is gaining more and more popularity. To make things short, Bitcoin isn't on it's peak yet and look at how much value it gained over the last 10+ years.

This very topic keeps getting my attention and to be frank, I always wish I could afford even if it's just one Bitcoin.
Acquiring Bitcoin is something great but the ability to HODL is a virtue and one thing I'm very certain is that no matter how much Bitcoin will fall, it will definitely rise because Bitcoin has fallen even way beyond this and even survived up til now which is an evident that Bitcoin is unstoppable.
Most times people forget that their are countries like mine with relatively very poor currency and when measuring it with relation to tye current price of Bitcoin, it seems impossible to acquire one Bitcoin now.
But I think people who hodl aren't doing so because they're seeing the future but rather because of faith and hopes that Bitcoin will rise again, so I will say it's faith that makes people hold more of Bitcoin.

Yes, I do have 1 bitcoin and I see no risk in saying that. It's not like I'm admitting to doing something unlawful or painting a target on my back. Many people that I know earn over 15k US a year so it's not like they're all going to come at me thinking that I'm some kind of millionaire. It's not that hard to get 1 bitcoin these days in one of the first world countries. You just need a bit of self control and dedication.

You are right that most of us who are here today are because we share the same beliefs about the future of Bitcoin. However some people go to these forums to find out more about bitcoin. and I am like that too. at first i wasn't too sure. But I do more reading in this forum and exploring old threads that have sunk. from there I started to feel confident and I am now doing Bitcoin Accumulation and hope to one day have 1 bitcoin or more. even though it's still far away but I hope that my purchases, which are only little by little, will one day be even 1 bitcoin.

In fact I have also seen many ordinary people who become successful starting from this forum such as Ethereum founder Vitalik buterin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=7314) and many others.

Actually for now I still feel it's not how much we have but how much we want to be here because we have a lot or not I don't think it's a benchmark and of course having a lot of bitcoins in the portfolio is a good thing but on the other hand we also can't force if we have not been able to do that. Buying a little at a time is what I'm best at so indeed I do that regardless of a lot or a little I don't think it's a problem.

Hello friends
Do you currently have at least 1 bitcoin?
Many people sold their bitcoins after quite a big drop, but i am sure there are people who still hodl a large amount of bitcoins
And i always wonder what motivates those people
Faith, hope, unemotional analytics or the ability to see the future? :D
Please, answer only those who really own at least 1 bitcoin
Thank you

Not something or ability to see the future (nobody does lol), but the ability to anticipate what the future holds for Bitcoin and the ability to accept the possible losses once your anticipation fails you. There's a bit of faith in there, but hey we're in a highly speculative market, but the good thing about Bitcoin is, it is gaining more and more popularity. To make things short, Bitcoin isn't on it's peak yet and look at how much value it gained over the last 10+ years.
There's still so much room when it comes to recognition and this is why we could really make out some presumptions that it does really have that potential on reaching greater heights but well its not an assured thing

and this is why its recommended that you shouldnt really be that too confident when it comes to crypto investment even into Bitcoin. There would be no assurance that it would be still alive on next 10 years.

Going back into the question about having 1 BTC then if we do talk about ingoing and outgoing transactions then it is really going beyond that border but
talking about actual 1 btc on savings then i dont really have, its hard to save when you do have lots of things to buy on.

It doesn't matter how many bitcoins you own, what matters is how long you hold them. I've always believed in Bitcoin and just wanted to accumulate as much as I could during a bear market and get more out of my investment over time.

Because the price of bitcoin is still at the bottom, so the time for hoarding bitcoin will continue this year, I think there is still a good chance to do it with bitcoin.
I think it really has to be understood about the investment game in bitcoin even though it is said to be wild but it will not be as bad as other cryptos so I want bitcoin to continue to be in a strong grip I think for a long time is a way to make big profits, it's just that you have to be more patient so that unaffected by any news.

I support the idea of not putting all eggs in all basket but this year I lost faith in altcoins. Especially after Luna crush, I was affected a little bit by that collapse. Later FTX drama. The only alt I still have my faith is Ethereum.

Yeah for me last year was year of bitcoin accumulation but I never bought any altcoin.

My biggest dream is to have at least one Bitcoin in my wallet, so far I've been trying to collect little by little to add to the pieces of Bitcoin I already have. Limited money is my obstacle, I allocate the money I get per month in several places. Apart from paying for my daily needs, I also have a big responsibility to pay for the needs of my parents who are unable to work anymore due to age. The remaining monthly money I allocate for Bitcoin investment.

I believe Bitcoin will grow even more in the future, after successfully reaching ATH some time ago, Bitcoin will soon fly beyond the numbers that have been achieved before. Some people really believe Bitcoin can rise again (regardless of when it happens), they will continue to collect Bitcoins even though the nominal does not reach 1 Bitcoin.

I think that many at one time had at least 1 Bitcoin, and I also had it. However, as you correctly replaced, many of us simply sold it. As for the reasons, they are certainly different for everyone. Personally, I sold to get money for a living, other BTC holders I think also did it to get some money for a living, to buy goods and food. Perhaps someone sold BTC to buy a car or an apartment, and I think that this is right, because we work to earn and get at least something. But of course, we need to make sure that we again have at least 1 BTC, because it’s very good to watch when the price of BTC flies to the moon, and our incomes grow.

My plan are as follows, buying it in fractions bit by bit with turn up spare care or money I can afford to loss without any panic. I will do this by taking advantage of the current market state so I could accumulate more bitcoin. This is how I plan to owning bitcoin till it is up to a whole bunch. Can't even remember on how many Bitcoin I have right now. I don't really care that much, but I am pretty sure I am holding more than 1 after my last accumulation. Don't follow those kinds of people you just mentioned unless you really need some money right now.

What motivates those people? They just don't really mind what happens even if "big drop" happens. Better have other hobbies to focus on rather than keeping on refreshing that holdings you got as you would just be disappointed on the changes in price every second.

Yes, same situation because if i do able to held up my entire earnings since those years then i might already have able to accumulate 1 whole coin or even more. There are really just things in life which

it cant really be avoided or something doesnt really give out the options which leaves you no choice but to spend up your coins because you do need it or something you do need to sustain.

Yes, its regrettable but as long you do make in good use of those coins with those conversions then i dont see for us to get upset. We arent still late nor behind

Bitcoin is really hard to own this time
Why, what's the reason.?
Until whenever you can have Bitcoin as long as there is value. You can buy any amount of Bitcoin and whenever you want as long as you have the money. It's very simple, nothing is difficult as long as you have some money.

but if i hold my bitcoin from 2017 till today maybe i have it or maybe i already get it during the bull run and change it into fiat for some reason.
Unfortunately it's just a dream that has not come true. Start acting, don't just have fun fantasizing without giving you any benefit. You have to get into the market immediately for several reasons too, it's never too late as long as there is a desire. Bitcoin is still a promising long-term investment, immediately do something that makes you stop daydreaming.

All this will come back to you as karma and you will become successful one day and make your parents proud. But I am sure they are already proud.

Our goal should be to collect as much bitcoin as we can while the bear market is ongoing so that we can sell at an all time high. Do not get tempted to spend that money on shitcoins and altcoins because they are only money traps and a waste of time. Seeing the highs like 60k USD, anyone will buy bitcoin at less than 17k USD.

Hence keep earning from your campaigns and allocating income to buying some bitcoin every month. Do not let the number stop you.

This a wrong thing for one to comment on really, how can the price of Bitcoin affect the price, I will like a bit of breakdown.

The price is a problem for those who sees it as a problem and opportunity for those who sees it as opportunity, but I believe more opportunities if you are filled with fiat, so the accumulation of Bitcoin continues. Having more than 1btc and the depreciation of the value which is price should not get you panic selling.

Having 1Btc or not OP whatever your holdings should be kept a secret.

I don't think that really matters, whether if I'm hodling a whole bitcoin or not, the important thing is that I'm already hodling and still accumulating some coins in my portfolio while the market is still giving some advantage to us. It's true that there's a lot of investors that panicked during the big drop and that made them to sell their assets because of the fear that bitcoin will touch the rock bottom but they just don't really know and their fate is not that good enough.

Interesting question op. My answer is no. I tend to sell most of my stash whenever there are bullruns for obvious reasons which is why I HODL a small amount of BTC and other cryptocurrencies for the long-term.

Most crypto investors operate in a similar manner frankly speaking since very few have the patience to HODL for a long period of time.

Having 1 btc is good enough for you and doing DCA in the current conditions is also very good and very appropriate for you to do right now because regardless of what the current condition of bitcoin is really worth it to continue to buy because they are indeed in a very bad condition now still uncertain and it is still difficult to determine when the bearish will end.
Until the bulls arrive, there's really nothing wrong with continuing to add to your portfolio by continuing to do DCA because that's the thing that really has to be done if you really have more money in your current life conditions.

Everyone has the same dream that 1 BTC is what every investor wants because the current value is still quite high, especially in the next few years?
Continue to collect bitcoin, even though it's a little, I also experience the same thing in investing in bitcoin, but at least every week/month I can allocate it to bitcoin to collect more, now a piece of bitcoin is meaningful, especially with 1 piece of bitcoin, of course that is the desire of many people.
Even though you have big responsibilities in your family if you are well disciplined then it will go according to plan and make sure you will never sell bitcoins in any emergency.

However there has been a lot of speculation about bitcoin in the future going to reach ATH again, I am always optimistic that with this cycle we can see how bitcoin grows even bigger in the eyes of the world, and this is the best time for bitcoin to grow.

Buy BTC > HOLD > Cold Wallet

10 bitcoins as I wrote is $17,429, which is a lot. But if you have a budget that big, then you will definitely be able to buy it easily. If I had that kind of budget I would also invest in bitcoins instead of depositing everything in a bank account or some other way.

But of course it's fine to have this kind of motivation if you have a way to make it happen, but if you can't then the best advice is to earn whatever bitcoin are within your current budget. I do it for an amount I can afford to lose, so I shouldn't be forced to do it and shouldn't be weighed down by the urge. 1 bitcoin will be worth much more in the future, if we don't currently have it regardless of whether buying it or collecting it in other ways, then of course it will be difficult to expect much in the future.

Most of us doesn't have 1 BTC or at least some BTC left in wallet.

The question on what motivates them to hodl it was if you don't need it you hodl in it or at least that should you want to do during this bear market and to protect your investment. But I think this will only applies to those who have more than 1 BTC on their wallet since they have some cash on them to use for their daily needs. But if you are only relying on your salary then it won't be enough for you to hold some Bitcoin for investment. It's better to have some business or at least a second job if the first one isn't enough to sustain and unable you to earn some savings.

Someone can say that he's got 1 bitcoin or more or even in reality he's got a lot of it but then say in the forum that he's got nothing.
It's easy to tell in words that you own it but in reality, you know that you've got nothing in your portfolio. Those that are truly careful won't say a thing or two about how much they've got even if they're already anonymous. While the others, don't have any problem telling on how much really they've got. Those that are having a lot of it might play lowkey.

Well!! We have an exclusive post on an inclusive idea (Bitcoin), if Bitcoin has something, it is that it is available to everyone, it is beautiful in that premise.

Of course! It is true some buy more than others, it is normal, happens with any asset, but someone who has 1 Sat can better understand what the objective of bitcoin is in reference to someone who has another amount, it is relative.

I always wanted to own at least one Bitcoin, but unfortunately it has not yet came to fruition, despite the fact that I am active in crypto space for over  4 years now. Though I consistently hold portion of Bitcoin & never sell it in loss, instead. add more Bitcoin in every deep dip. In order to generate passive income, I trade in Bitcoin and keep buying it when its price is lower and book gains by selling it when my trade goes in profit, to cover my daily expenses.

I'm now going to take out a portion of the money every time I get paid. Buy Bitcoins after researching the market. I think the value of Bitcoin will definitely go up. It's just a matter of time. I don't want to regret one day in two years that I didn't buy bitcoin today.

See the bitcoin price history in monthly time period you can clearly see the market is going higher and higher for every 4years if old members remembers our last resistance of last bullrun is 8K usd but now we are at 18 k if someone buy at 8 to 10kUSD and not sells at any profits above 20k then i congratulates

But Now our goal is to accumulate more and more bitcoins at cheap price so at my experience i suggest to do DCA and many members buy bitcoin at above 30k so start to make dca and buy in small quantity every Monty and your target is keep your average buying price at 15k you have two years before next bullrun with crazy gains so now on start your strategy to change your financial status,

( its not your fault that you born in poor family but your fault if you die poor )

The goal of owning 1 bitcoin is a goal not only for you but for most people on this forum. I believe that as long as everyone works tirelessly and takes advantage of the current bitcoin price drop to accumulate actively, everyone will achieve their goals. I don't think it's too difficult if we really want to do it. I am more fortunate to own more than 1 bitcoin so far, but I still feel inadequate and still actively collect bitcoin in 2023. So I expect 2023 to still be a bearish year for us to take advantage of.

In order to generate passive income, I trade in Bitcoin and keep buying it when its price is lower and book gains by selling it when my trade goes in profit, to cover my daily expenses.

Hope you have success in accumulating more Bitcoin by taking advantage of current bear market, which is still struggling to show some early signs of improvement. It is very difficult to predict Bitcoin price with certainly but CPI report released yesterday, suggests that current money tightening policy of FED is producing desired result, this can result in pause in interest rate increase or less harsh increase in 2023, & it can lead to stabilization in all financial markets, including crypto, in coming months.

I would guess that not only they will stop increasing the interest rate hikes, but they will also stop it completely and maybe even reverse it sometime this year as well. They have already taken it to very high price and I am not expecting it to stay like this, which means that we are going to end up with something much lower eventually, maybe not in the following few months, but by the end of this year, I am expecting it to start going lower.

This would mean people will once again take their money out of the banks and start using them to buy assets or even build more business opportunities and hire more people which will help the economy get back on track.

There is a great opportunity for me to make more than 10 bitcoin throughout 2015, but that is a past I don't want to remember. Now everything is fine for me although actually I can no longer afford those 10 bitcoin in just one transaction, I mean only because they are already more expensive.

Regarding the amount, I think it should be kept secret because of course this is a matter of privacy. But I have it just in case in case I can pay for coffee with bitcoin in future.  ;D

1 Bitcoin is not so simple. Currently the price of Bitcoin is 19 thousand dollars which is not affordable for everyone. However, many also have more than one Bitcoin. At one point I had different coins worth more than 1 bitcoin. But due to the market crash the price has dropped to 0.2144Btc currently. I require a suggestion from you I have 14.5 bnb which I have been holding for many years. Biggest mistake I made in life was not selling when BNB price went up to 689. I still have that BnB. So should I hold BNB or convert to Bitcoin? Seek advice from experienced people.

everyone wants to have 1 bitcoin in theory and everyone's dream, but with real situations people who have 1 bitcoin even more are just people who are truly financially free and their life needs are more than enough
everyone has a different experience with/when they own bitcoin
I personally have the highest bitcoin I've ever had, only 0.1btc, I'm happy

if you still benefit from your current bnb i think you can exchange it to btc if you want to get more profit during the bull run then.  this is my opinion and if i have the same bnb as you
but if you have experienced a loss, it is better to hold it until the BNB is at 600 again

The CPI report was released on last Thursday, dated, January 12th-2023, which was very positive for the market as inflation is consistently coming down. The details are given in the attached link:

Bitcoin has made two consecutive green candles on weekly chart & also broke psychological barrier of 20K. Its current price is around $21,200. It seems that eventually bulls have taken control of market. If the current bullish trend continues, it is likely to hit 25K by the end of January-23.

Lower CPI is a positive signal for the market but not big enough for bitcoin to skyrocket like now, inflation is down but still very high so don't think that's the reason bitcoin spiked to $21k. Bitcoin can rise for no reason because it is a market that is not too dependent on supply and demand and is manipulated.

It is true that lower CPI is not a single reason behind the jump in Bitcoin price of around $2K, which came as surprise for all of us, but I think it was overdue as Bitcoin was in consolidation phase since many months. Some market participants interpreted this sudden rally as bull trap, but technically speaking Bitcoin is now trading above 200 DMA which is a good sign, now it should make few green candles on day chart & stay above 19,500 to confirm bullish trend.

Bitcoin rallied because CPI fell as expected, I don't know if accumulators like you are happy or sad to see bitcoin rise in price. But for me, my feelings are not very happy. Because if bitcoin goes up too fast, I won't be able to accumulate bitcoin cheaply, accumulating my bitcoin will be very difficult if bitcoin doesn't drop back. But since we've been in a bear market for so long, it's time to warm things up. I can still buy bitcoin at this price, which is still pretty cheap compared to ATH, but I prefer to buy at a lower price.

The positive CPI data report that came out is obviously the major thing that catapults the price way up to $21000 because the market has been choppy for a while and we haven't had such price movement since after the FTX collapse but only after CPI data.

I'm happy that we have BTC started to see some recovery from the long time down trend, but would have preferred to see BTC start with a gradual movement towards the upper side than this fast movement that happened yesterday, reason is what goes up fast also comes down fast.

I don't believe in indicators or technical analysis, if people can analyze the price trading above 200 DMA, which is a good signal, then why can no one predict bitcoin's up or down before? Why wait for bitcoin to go up to $21k and start giving analysis and say it's positive? As I said, the market is being manipulated by rich tycoons who can manipulate prices to their will. So enjoy when prices rise and prepare to buy when prices fall.

I do not hold 1 bitcoin but sooner than later with the strategy and tactics that I put in place I will attain the goal. If not because of the troubles of the 2022 crypto market crash when I watched my assets dwindle, I could have been real close. But then it is what it is. I am hopeful for myself, bitcoin and the future that I will join the 1 bitcoin club.

Was you strategy trading altcoins so you can use the profits to accumulate Bitcoin. Many people do this and get liquidated in bear markets that's why I'm asking you this question. If you are among those that do this, I just want to encourage you not to give up. Trading altcoins are one do the fastest ways to accumulate as much Bitcoin as you wan.
While many hate on the altcoins, I Just use them as gateway to my goals. Alot of them are worthless but who cares when you aren't investing in them because you believe that can be game changers or something instead you're just taking advantage of their high volatility to acquire more Bitcoin.
In this business of trading, it doesn't really matter what you trade, all you just have to make sure is they have to be easy to sell when you want to exit the market and we have exchanges

At least in this market no one is willing to sell Bitcoin as investors know that Bitcoin will continue to grow higher in the near future. To have one bitcoin is very easy but the problem or the fact is that you must strategize yourself very well before you can get one bitcoin and before you get one bitcoin many things will be involved in the same that you will monitor the market and know exactly when you will buy for your investment so that you be able to make profit, because I think that those people that have already gotten one Bitcoin started by investing when the price of Bitcoin is low so it is said something or a choice of determination before you can get one BTC

Going up fast is not necessarily going down fast, bitcoin does not work according to such a fixed formula, it is also possible that bitcoin will continue to rise or will fall from here, bitcoin is still unpredictable. Bitcoin crossed $21k and I think it could hit $25k before correcting. I still would instead bitcoin fall than start a bull season this year. Let's wait and see how bitcoin will be in the coming days, investing in bitcoin is really exciting when no one can predict it.

It is not necessary one needs to have up to one bitcoin to be able to hodl. One bitcoin may be too big for some people to get because we are all different financially.  I think what matters is for one to afford some amount of bitcoin according to the level of financial income and hodl it.  The main thing in bitcoin is for one to have patience to hodl it no matter how small or big it is. Amount of bitcoin does not really matter,  but what matter is to get profit from what  one is hodling.

You can get the idea from watching the website which lists the percentage of Bitcoin users holding a fixed amount against the number of wallets that hold that amount. It is available on the net for free but keep in mind that many bitcoin rich users keep more than one of wallet.

However this is just a measure and not a point to ponder over. Your target should be to accumulate bitcoin during the bear market and sell during the bill market. Don't be foolish to think that Bitcoin is dead because it is in the red and end up selling at a loss.

People keep bitcoin for various reasons, but still the majority for profit, but there are also those who are forced by life circumstances to sell despite the state of the market, of course if you sold in bullish 2021, then in a year you would have four times more bitcoins, but this is not the lot of many.

I agree, owning more bitcoins or less bitcoins doesn't matter because we can accumulate over time. The important thing that we need to care about is profit, because when investing, our goal must be profit. If you have few bitcoins, but you can hold them for a long time, sometimes it will generate bigger profits even for people who own a lot of bitcoins for short term investment.

I don't have too many bitcoins, and I am still accumulating, but my luck is buying bitcoins is very cheap, even if I sell now, I will still make a profit. But I decided only to sell when they hit $100k or more.

If I have more than 1 bitcoin in my pocket will not be long term holding and looking opportunity how to earn profit consistency every day, bitcoin can't stable and guarantee will reach higher price until $100,000 based on many people speculation. I just want to earn profit with bitcoin opportunity drop and up every day.

Better earn little profit consistency every day than expected higher price from Bitcoin and waiting more than several years and we miss opportunity for selling bitcoin on higher price, maybe when bitcoin reached all time high above $64,000 many people have huge expectation will reach above $100,000 for sell it, but lately bitcoin have going drop right now under $23,000.

    - I have bitcoin but not in that amount of 1 BTC, but I save little by little every week because I believe it is a good long-term investment. It's proven and tested by others, so I know if I'm not doing it wrong to save bitcoin.

I know the savings that I will get here in the future are good, and I also see the importance of bitcoin in this era, to be honest, not only because it is a good opportunity but it also helps a lot to those who believe in it.

What you are talking about is trading and trading also doesn't need more than 1 bitcoin to begin. If you feel you have knowledge that can profit from trading then you can even start with $100. People like to hold because they don't have too much knowledge about trading or don't have the time and holding becomes easier. Trading or holding both can make a profit and the profit is more or less up to you, it has nothing to do with long term or short term.

Currently I think there are many people who are holding on to more than 1 bitcoin. They hold Bitcoin for their future. At least in this market no one is willing to sell Bitcoin as investors know that Bitcoin will continue to grow higher in the near future. But I don't have that much money to invest right now but with the amount of money I have I have collected some amount of bitcoins from the current market. My future plan is to hold Bitcoin for the long term.
If you're buying Btc at around $23k, I guess that's not best buying price because it's already in the peak where many users got FOMO as we see in the chart. We have to wait till the early buyers sold their Btc so that we can get a discount. However, in a large picture, $23k is still in a discount because Btc has a great future and I'm planning to buy at a very low price.

Many people sold their bitcoins after quite a big drop, but i am sure there are people who still hodl a large amount of bitcoins
Selling 1 Bitcoin and then having nothing left in your wallet is a hassle. Unless there are several Bitcoins stored in the wallet and when we sell just 1 with a percentage of profit it is sufficient for me it doesn't matter because the motivation in selling for something very important.

If studied and analyzed further, selling Bitcoin at the current price is not a good decision for those of us who have other income to meet our daily needs because Bitcoin is a future investment that will be profitable.

Make no mistake, there is also a motivation for someone who sells Bitcoin is to trade with the aim of seeking more profit after making a profit through selling it. Even though it was the only Bitcoin he owned, he could have sold it to buy it back when the price dropped so he could get one or more digits of Bitcoin from the previous one.

In general, yes, now is not a very good time to release Bitcoin into the market if only to meet daily needs. Because everyone can still find their daily needs in other ways and not disturb the Bitcoin they are currently saving for future investment. But everyone also has their own decision regarding this matter so that no one can force someone to stick with other people's decisions or with other people's suggestions.

But if you are an early bitcoin holder, you bought bitcoins for less than $100, then selling bitcoins now will be a huge success. Firstly, you made a profit, and it was a successful investment; second, if you need money urgently, there is nothing wrong with selling at the current price; and lastly, there is no guarantee bitcoin will bounce back or hit new ATH levels, the future remains a mystery.

Even if you purchase bitcoin 5 years ago there is still a lot of profit from it as long as you survive the ups and downs of bitcoin. No one can predict the price of Bitcoin as there are possibilities (low) that it will die but you can see a lot of people right now are buying bitcoin and others are holding it for a long period as they want to get profit. We can't predict it but it is very painful if we are left behind and not owning any bitcoin.

from the beginning I started to join this bitcoin investment, of course I have learned more or less about what bitcoin is, how it works and the history of bitcoin formation.
therefore there is no more doubt in investing in bitcoin, I'm not worried when the market goes down, because it has become part of the market's habits, so why should I worry.

Sometimes people will sell it, even though he only has 1 Bitcoin and there is nothing left in his wallet, they do it already predicted the profit from the initial speculator buying it, people do it with full calculation and aim to make a profit, but I'm sure they will buy it back when the price decreases and reverse the state of the wallet again.
We think the people who are able to do this job are those who have detailed it well enough and are ready to take the risk of having no remaining Wallet as well as Assets.

In the current market conditions it may not be effective selling Assets, but for those who had Bitcoin a few years ago below its current Value maybe they can use it and this is still profitable for them, more precisely those who bought Bitcoin at a time when the price was more or less than $ 100, in the current market conditions are still in the profit.

Hello friends
Do you currently have at least 1 bitcoin?
I don’t have and It is not mandatory for everyone to have the full 1 Bitcoin.  He buys and holds bitcoins according to his ability. Very few people own 1 whole Bitcoin because Bitcoin has a limited supply. And whoever owns 1 bitcoin can own huge amount of money if he holds it for 8-10 years.  Because 1 bitcoin = millions of dollars can be released.  Because its supply is low, but as Bitcoin spreads across the world and is used for various purposes, its value will increase exponentially.

Of course, it will make a profit but it will not reach 50% of the profit if the purchase price last year was at $16K. Let alone those who bought at $100, those who bought at $1K have also become billionaires at today's selling price. When it comes to profit, those who bought at the current price still have a chance to make a profit because the current price has not passed the ATH price as long as the patience to hold is still strong.

Every time the lowest point of the bear market is bought, I believe that after the bear market, the future will be bright again. Hold the coins in your hands carefully and don't sell them easily.

When I entered this circle, I already knew that I should not be swayed by any news. Once you panic, the wealth in your hands will be lost. I would not use Bitcoin as a source of daily expenses. Its capabilities go far beyond that.

And if you do not have a full 1 bitcoin, you should take advantage of this opportunity to accumulate 1 bitcoin for yourself and, if possible accumulate a few bitcoins. We are still in its infancy, and bitcion has not achieved real value yet as many people don't know about it, we should feel extremely lucky to be able to buy bitcoin at the current price. Once bitcoin is worth millions of dollars, owning 1 bitcoin will be impossible, that's why I hope bitcoin won't go up soon so I can accumulate.

Patience is the key to success; so far, there is trust in Bitcoin; we expect Bitcoin to recover soon when the bear market is over, as we can see how Bitcoin is improving as the price is slowly rising, even though we cannot tell if the bear market has approached its end, but there is hope that it will end soon.

Holding your bitcoin is the only strategy to benefit from your investment when the bull run comes,it is not easy to own one btc mate,it means that you are wealthy. Bitcoin can be accumulated bit by bit and gradually, you can own up to half or one bitcoin with time. The price of bitcoin is low and this is the best time to buy and hold till when bitcoin gets to ATH. Traders are the ones who are always buying low and selling high when there is an opportunity in the crypto market. I haven't sold since I bought and I don't intend to sell till 2025.

Patience is the key, same as that we need to know when to invest. Most of the time when the market is bearish we end up without investing out of panic whether the market will recover or not. Such mentality needs to change. Believe in it, and the rest is history. This is how most of the early adopters have made fortune out of bitcoin investment.

and trying out to accumulate as much as i could but its not something that you could easily deal with considering that earning money or bitcoin is just tough when you do have your own day working job.
YOu would be still need to work and make out some trades if needed and lots of possible methods and ways which you could possibly be able for you to earn bitcoin.
When you do see some progress then continue no matter how long it would take as long you do stick into your goal.

People keep bitcoin for various reasons, but still the majority for profit, but there are also those who are forced by life circumstances to sell despite the state of the market, of course if you sold in bullish 2021, then in a year you would have four times more bitcoins, but this is not the lot of many.
I thought I will invest some bitcoins for 5 years. If I can invest in bitcoins now then I want to invest thinking that after 5 years maybe I will get many times profit. But I believe that bitcoins will be the Hige price after few years. The price will increase several times from that. And if I can sell the bitcoins right then, I can own a lot of money.

Currently I don't have a single BTC but there was a time when I had multiple BTC in my wallet. BTC were not worth much then. And I had no idea that the value of Bitcoin could rise so high. If I could have guessed that the price of bitcoin would rise so much I would have kept all my btc. But now I want to buy and hold some amount of BTC. Many people are saying that the market will be very good in 2024 and I can see the pattern now. The Bitcoin market has increased a lot in early 2023 so I will buy some BTC now and put it in my wallet and hope that I can get some profit later.  .

Same here. Highest amount I ever owned was around 10 btc when it was around 150$. I then sold at 200.

Had no idea about it back then and just got paid for a job I did. When I saw the increase I sold it was without seeing the potential.

2 years ago I had around 2,5 btc again but spend it all during rough covid time. So sad.
