Today, December 31, the bastard regime of the Kremlin launched another missile attack on the peaceful cities of Ukraine. No, not at military facilities, not even at infrastructure facilities. This time in Kyiv, rockets flew INTO RESIDENTIAL QUARTERS! One rocket hit in Kyiv hit near the school. One rocket hit a residential building. 1.5 kilometers from the place where I live, a Russian rocket fell, which simply did not reach its target ...
These were not downed missiles, these were their GOALS - residential buildings, schools, hospitals .... In Kiev, 1 person died, 11 were seriously injured.
I believe in the victory of reason, civilization. And I really wish the destruction of rashism - this vile, vile, cowardly regime and its henchmen!
Ukraine and the entire adequate world are obliged to defeat rashism and their terrorism in 2023!
I wish that in all countries, there will be peace, prosperity in families, the restoration of the economy of your countries, and the opportunity to live in peace and enjoy life without hearing air raid warnings every day and without watching cruise missile explosions in neighboring houses!

But yeah, happy new year to you and the rest of the forum as well.  Not exactly sure you should have inserted a sensitive political commentary if all you wanted to do was wish everyone well in 2023, but it's obviously an issue that's very near to your heart and I understand that.  It's been a ugly, nasty, shitty last two years at least and I'm really hoping some of the big issues facing the world get at least partially resolved (or at the very least that things don't get worse).  That includes the Russia vs. Ukraine war, the state of the economy, and every other fucking nightmare right down to the price of bitcoin maintaining its dismal valuation for so long.

Cheers to all y'all!  I raise my glass to the forum and propose a toast to better days for all of us.

I have a terrible flu so i'll be celebrating my new year by looking fireworks behind the window, drinking hot chocolate with whip cream, gambling some, and browsing internet, while playing far cry 6 and making sure that my dog doesn't get freaked out by the noise and loud bangs coming from outside.

Tonight i'll be leaving those altcoin charts and new nfts alone. My portfolio can survive trough the new year without 24/7 management, least i hope so.

Bitcoin will regain from his dip soon and everybody here will be happy they could hold on for long, this year will be a victorious year for bitcoin and for us all.

Unfortunately, this new year is not a happy one for Ukrainians because of these heartless attacks. There is no justification for the bombing of residential buildings and others. Ukraine has been strong in resisting all forms of attacks and intimidation but I think it's high time we seek peace. Many lives have been lost and we mush ensure that all these senseless killings come to an end. My heart goes to the people of Ukraine. Hopefully, this year would be a happy one.

We have gone through various things, be it bitter, sweet, sour life in 2022, hopefully in this new year we can be even better than all things. May we live this year in good health, our bodies are healthy, our hearts are healthy, our economy is healthy and whatever it is.
I want to emphasize that I hope that what we are afraid of this year, such as a deteriorating economy, will not actually happen, and when it does, I hope that what we have prepared so far can save us from paralysis.

It’s sad to witness how Russia continues to commit crimes against humanity by shelling residential neighborhoods, schools and even medical health facilities. This shows that Putin is desperate and willing to go all out to break the will and resilience of the Ukrainian people. But the Ukrainians are dogged and despite the odds, are gradually overcoming the tyrant and defending their homeland.

Saying Happy New Year, how come you have to say Covid, can't you move on from the Covid problem that has hit all countries in the world? Now we are all in 2023 and it has been three years since we left the year of Covid, namely 2020, so why does this problem keep bringing it up again if you really want to open a new, better page this year. Bitter experiences don't need to be remembered all the time because everyone needs to fix everything in order to get prosperity and health.

You are not right. We must always remember such things in order to prevent this in the future. If you don't remember your past, then you have no future.
OP, I sincerely want this crazy war to finally stop. A lot of lives have been lost; it's time to find a compromise, to give each country the right to choose. In any case, the tears of children of any nationality should not be shed. I congratulate everyone on the new year, and foremost I want to wish you peace, reason, and health. Remember to remain human; never has hatred led to anything peaceful. Everyone should remember this and start with themselves.

Right past incident should be remember so that we can live a better life on future since we can learn a lot of things about it. To many things has need to be consider since that pandemic teach a lot of things to all of people.

I somehow believe that 2023 looks like a much better year, no idea why and how but I feel like we lived through the worse and now we are going towards the recovery, we already had 2020 and 2021 pandemic year and 2022 which was start of recovery and at least the pill we took for healing, and in 2023 we will see all the good things come to life, can't say I know for sure or anything but I really hope that it happens and we live a great life this year.

The turn of 2022 to 2023 this time is one of the worst new year's phases I have ever seen, the economy is deteriorating, natural disasters are everywhere, fierce snowstorms, earthquakes everywhere, wars etc., not knowing exactly what will happen in the future to the world economy, getting better or worse.

Even so today is already 3 days for 2023, I only have hope that in the future, the economy, digital/crypto currency can be better than the previous year, both in terms of prosperity and so on.

My hope is that in the coming 2023, we all have hope and always pray for the best for humanity throughout the world, especially in terms of the currently deteriorating economy that will get better, it is my hope that the people on this earth can be free from all suffering and live happily.

Happy New Year DrBeer, I really hope the Ukraine vs Russia war can be ended very soon and both countries can make an agreement to prevent from this kind problem happen in the future. I think it's already almost a year and I don't find any good movement from Putin, moreover the news seems to be "died" since I don't see any hype or recent news about this war. This year there's many people predict it will be very hard for humanity, I just hope everything will be good.

Regarding peace with Russia, this is not possible. Russia openly, officially says that its goal is the physical destruction of Ukraine and the enslavement of its people. Therefore, they left us no choice - only one country will remain on the globe - either Ukraine or Russia. Russia left us no choice - we will fight for our survival with all possible methods! And I'm quite satisfied with the appearance of 5-10 new republics, on the eastern border of Ukraine :)

From what I had been seeing on news and on TV, we all know that the Ukrainians are being affected by this war severely.
Innocent citizens are dying from bomb blast, starvation, poor medical services, bad water, insufficient food supply and many more which we might not understand the gravity of the war. I just hope this war will end soon.

Seeing this almost made me cry from those soldiers at the war front.
Many persons are passing through similar conditions.

May this year bring peace and happiness to the people all over the world.
Peace and health is much needed in this year and the years to come. We already have suffered so much due to COVID and war.

2023 is a promising for us all i believe, we are already into it and the race have began again, funny enough, many have even forgotten that they shouted happy new year some few days ago, it understandable, we all must keep pushing most especially when we have several people depending on us.
So i pray that in this year 2023, God will help us to make the right decisions with our investments, and the market will be more green for us this year than it was last year, and may we not also experience the negative events that caused the turmoil experienced in the market last year... I pray and hope for a better 2023 compared to 2022.   

Definitely praying for them. They are in the worst conditions right now and its been long time
now they are at war. They might have not celebrated the Christmas or the new years night with
the same energy as they would have been as independent country. It's so heartfelt to imagine
that they have lost their family members, friends and what not. They don't have their homes to
celebrate the whole thing. God knows how they might be doing at this stage but hope they get
all the positive vibes from all the nations.
The last news that I checked I believe US has also sanctioned more help to the Ukraine. I just
hope this will take everything in the right direction and not put the country in more jeopardy.

I also follow the masses don't wish everybody happy new year but the problem I have found in New York that during the first month of the year like January I sense that many people always have a financial challenges because of the expenses that the festival period of Christmas if you are the cause to them but it is people who are understandable that knows exactly what to do and how to spend money during the period

Happy new 2023! That this may be a year of economical and social recovery for the world. That conflicts can be overcome and the nations start working together and respecting each other mutually, as it should be. I believe we are in this world to learn even through our mistakes, overcome challenges and give our contribution to the people we encounter in our lives. Even the sadistic, malignant and merciless are in this world for those reasons, so let's pray for their sould and hope they can also change for better, regretting for their acts, paying the price for the evil, cruelty and suffering they caused to innocent people, and persuing a new path for their lives from this moment on. My heart breaks for the innocent Ukrainians, especially the children who can't live peaceful life because of the war. I couldn't imagine the trauma and fear that they're fearing every day. I always pray hard every day for this war to end so innocent people don't have to suffer and no lives won't end because of those missile attacks each day. 2022 has been a challenging and tragic year for both countries but I pray that 2023 will be a year of peace for everyone. We always wish to see the dawn of peace and we keep wishing it and the new year comes again with the blood shed.

I hope you are better with the new year already running. Yeah we pray and wish for peace but it seem a mirage in the world we live. Human being is built with interest and having to interact with each other, there will be clash of interest and this is certain but we can only manage to handle it. We have had this clash causing different revolutions in the past and empire subduing the less powerful like the Roman empire far back in history. We have also had first and second world war, hope we won't have the third. ;D. I wish the Ukrainian would have peace .
