I am indeed glad to be on this platform. I just joined and in just some few hours surfing through various posts on Bitcoin, I have learnt so much.

I love the integrity of this platform and it makes one feels very safe here knowing how fraud has increased all over the World.

With Bitcoin, people are able to make genuine living. This has helped in reducing the rate of crimes and frauds in Africa, especially amongst the teaming and unemployed Youths.

Bitcoin is a game changer and a blessing to this he generation.

Well guess what dude — Bitcointalk is just as unsafe as most community platforms on the world wide web. Same with other social platforms, you just need to ignore(or better yet, report) the spam/scams and focus on the good topics/conversations.

Welcome to the forum and yes bitcoin is indeed a wonderful initiative but its still used and abused by some people out there as loop hole to so many cyber related crimes as it is known that in nature anything that has good sides also has bad sides so i would advise to be very cautious even here in the forum some folks are just to lurking around to scam other but the forum will guide you in advices on the do's and don't that are involved in the crypto space.
For example
~it not safe for one to store there coins in exchange platform
~always keep your coins in an offline wallet
~always report any suspicious pm from any member in the forum  so many more just be willing you are here to learn and ask questions about things you don't know.

The arrival of bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large has created job opportunities for some people but the rates of crimes hasn’t reduced the way you put it. In fact there are people who hide behind bitcoin to scam people or either hack wallets.

In Africa, bitcoin has help its investors to save their funds without fear of inflation and also to transfer money through the continent without undergoing the rigorous processes of banks.

The forum does not have an inbuilt scam regulation system for this exact reason; you are not safe here on the forum or anywhere on the internet.

I doubt Bitcoin has had any significant effect on the rate of crimea or fraud in Nigeria. It's a great technology, but it has limits to its effects.

It's also worth noting that the crimes and criminal activities associated with bitcoin have existed for a long time before bitcoin itself. They could be using it as a shield to conceal their criminal activity, but bitcoin has nothing to do with it and does not encourage it in any way. This is one of the reasons it has yet to be accepted as legal tender throughout the world. I hope the bitcoin jinx is broken soon and bitcoin becomes widely accepted.

Indeed this platform opened new opportunities for both investors and non-investors of cryptocurrency. This is also where most of the users here learned more about this technology and ways of being aware of the advantages such as with profit making and transactions. Topics having different concerns and to how users share their opinions about it.Everything which is open to masses would be 'dangerous'. Not all informations you would read, will be based on facts especially if it is opinionated. As you learn new things you'd be able to identify which information should you keep and use , as well as info you should disregard. That is a part of learning process I think.

The information in this forum is boundless because you can learn about almost everything about Bitcoin in this forum. It is possible to make genuine income from Bitcoin dealings but it is better not to see the sector as a full time job. This is because the sector is ever dynamic and unpredictable. Get a job and see this sector as a side hustle.

This might be true.... but you know what, there are so much activity on this forum ..that it is becoming very difficult to escape the investigative eyes of the Bitcoin enthusiasts on this platform.

How many people come to this forum to try and scam people.... and the "community" Police jump onto those threads to expose them. This is not always the case with other platforms with less activity, because it sometimes takes weeks on less active forums for people to react.  ::)

People are making their living working on bitcoin forums. You too continue to strive and make a living from here. There are many unemployed youths who land on this bitcoin forum and are making their living from there and reducing the unemployment rate.

Be careful even here. Not all here would be honest enough not to trick you. Anything related to bitcoin especially transaction must be handle with extra cautious even though this is also a place to conduct transaction only to those of who has good reputation and not deal with any newbies or if there is just vouch for it first. Learn here and youll see that many have been scammed as well.

Bitcoin can indeed provide opportunities for people to make a living, but they have to try hard because now many people know this bitcoin's potential. But in this forum, many scams also occur, similar to fraud in real life.

The most important thing is how you can get various useful information to start trying to earn money from crypto. But bitcoin is not a short-term game changer but true bitcoin is a blessing for this generation.

If I may know, what is the most memorable thing when you have learned a lot from a few hours of browsing the forum, especially related to posts about Bitcoin that you encounter. I myself am still learning all things related to Bitcoin so don't be surprised if my posts are irregular.

It's great if the benefits of Bitcoin can be felt in real terms by people.
As we all try to understand how Satoshi came up with a very useful idea, the opposing side also does not stop thinking about how to prevent Bitcoin from becoming a success in the world economic system. One of them is by developing negative issues.

I have read this so many times and still cannot really wrap my head around what you mean by with bitcoins people are able to make a genuine living. It sounds like something that can be misinterpreted by beginners to mean that bitcoin is a get-rich quick scheme and that depending on bitcoin alone without having any other plans is okay. It is not so.

If you've gone through so many discussions on this forum you find out that the general advice is also that you should not completely depend on bitcoins and investments in cryptocurrency for your livelihood. So how do people make a living from bitcoin? are they really HODLing?

To correct you OP, I will say that bitcoin has offered hope for people in Africa to get out of poverty through purposeful and smart investments in it, not just an avenue to make a living like you suggest.

I must confess to you, for you to really get a better understanding about bitcoin and any other bitcoin related discussion then will say you should bring out your mind and heart to study widely here, I believe strongly that this forum has all it takes for one to have sound knowledge about bitcoin. All that matters is just time to read.

What actually happened was that some people used Bitcoin as their main source of income.
As an example, this forum was also created because it was the beginning of the creation of Bitcoin.
Until now, we can see that this forum is used by them to work and earn income by participating as members in a signature campaign, which there are lots of in the forum.
So Bitcoin has indirectly helped many people from the bottom to the top and do not recognize any race and anywhere.

There are also a lot of information on how to earn, more than how to profit and that's the most important thing. You could find so many people who make a living out of crypto, and that means it is not going to be too bad.

Like for example a hero/legendary account here could make as much as 400 dollars a month and that's a good thing because there are so many nations with less than 400 dollars minimum wage, meaning just the signature campaigns here alone could get you enough money to survive. On top of that you could join bounty campaigns, work as something for a project and many other business possibilities that could take you even higher. I make about over a grand from just crypto jobs I do, that's really really good in my nation.

Well, what do you expect? This is a forum so you have to focus more on quality posts and make valuable contributions in the forum than to just spam all over the forum and expect to get ban later on. However, if you are here to learn and gain, I assure you that you are in a right track but never expect to gain quick profits as everything here requires knowledge and skills for you to be profitable later on.

Bitcoin is a game changer but you’ve to also prepare to have a change mindset towards bitcoin. Not by what you see online but what you have researched and have sufficient knowledge about. Not everyone is genuinely making a living from bitcoin, but would that change your notion towards bitcoin? If Yes then you’ll have to change your mindset to not allow other people’s path affect yours in the journey but rather learn from their mistakes as guidance.

We can earn income that can help us financially by participating in various offers in this forum because we also help a project develop well and can get investors, gamblers or traders. I agree that bitcoin has indirectly helped many people trying to earn an income. And to get more income, we can look for other jobs outside of this forum that will pay in crypto to increase our earning potential. Bitcoin has always provided a new way of making money but unfortunately, it has only started to develop in recent years after people saw the increasing price of bitcoin.

I also think that such results can support someone in many countries so they can try to change their life for the better. This proves to us that there will definitely be more jobs that we can do later in the future and the best thing is that we can get paid in bitcoins. And that means we can indirectly invest in bitcoins while converting those bitcoins into local currency to meet our needs.

Bitcointalk forum has been helpful allowing people from every corners of the world who don't have opportunities on their local areas to start earning a decent amount of money online in a weekly basis, which for many is the only income they have for a living. This website has also been a game changer for myself and has provided knowledge and information that enabled me to earn some decent money as a side income that allows me to live more comfortably. I'd advise you to be cautious regarding what you read; it doesn't necessarily mean it's true or even probable to happen. Also, do your own research; don't take someone's word for granted; and avoid reading signals, which are extremely common in the altcoin section and random pump and dump tokens, unless you're in for a gamble.

Also, avoid joining cryptocurrency-related groups on platforms such as Telegram and Discord, or at least be extremely cautious if you do.
