I was surprised to see the fantom coin, which has gone up a lot and two weeks ago it was still cheap, but now it has gone up a lot.
I want to ask whether the ftm coin will have the potential to continue to rise?
And what's with the ftm coins that keep going up in price? I want to hear an explanation from you?

Probably pumping because the people behind Fantom coin just announced that they're gonna release version 2 of their stablecoin fUSD which will allow users to choose between $FTM (their native coin) or $fUSD to be used to pay for transaction fees within the network. Kinda unique if you ask me.

Fantom is already a successful layer -1 blockchain project, if you are a big alt investor I don't see why you won't add this on your watchlist at least, this project did so well in 2021 and it won't stop there, I believe there is more surprises on the way.

I think Fantom is a great project and they rise continuesly according to my experience is that its a very strong project and alot of people interested in this project and my advice is that invest in this project its more rise in future definitely they will give profit to there invester..

Seems an interesting coin, but who knows what the next bull run holds. i usually prefer holding such coins for short term profits and not really holding them long term like the way I would with Bitcoin

There are a lot of very promising projects that have disappointed in the past and I don't want to hold bags of such coins long term anymore

Because every altcoin that has potential has been rising this whole year. Fantom isn't an exception.
It has as much potential to rise more in the bull market then most of the top coins rising right now.
If FTM and other alts continue to rise, no one can say for sure, but i am guessing FTM won't be rising alone if there's a shakedown and other coins fall.
That crash would be reasons we don't know. Many would point to their technical analysis and how their prediction was right, that's for sure.

For now, just enjoy the ride. As later on all this movement was just a tiny blip on the chart.

to be honest i've been watching this project since 2021 wherein that time i used to daily trade and FTM really following the path of the biggest coins in the market especially top altcoins. So i wouldn't be surprised if up to now it still kicking since it has a good team behind as well.  Try to check the highest time frame surely you will see its progress every month or year.

I don't know much about the Fantom project (FTM) but I'm using FTM as one of my gambling coins and I don't have much hope whether FTM can increase greatly or will stay as it is now.
And luckily for me, I've already bought some FTM at the bottom and now I have nothing to worry about because they've already passed my buying price and I'm just waiting for the price to peak (if it can).
So with the upcoming altcoin season, FTM certainly has the opportunity to grow even higher.
If you want to invest in FTM, you should get more info about the project so you can find out if the FTM project is worth your investment or if you should look for other coins.

I think Fantom has potential in the future, they have their own blockchain, reliable team and large users. Transaction fees are also relatively cheap, so many investors like Fantom. the increase in the price of Fantom may have something to do with the increase in bitcoin, so that the price of Fantom has also increased in the past few weeks.

I do noticed that CT has gone viral on twitter posting a lot about ftm. Its like a bit of a virus already. Like Andre Cronje leading the posting about the latest twerk about ftm which involve events and upgrades. I am not gonna blame them since ftm has gone dead for months and now its like simply been revive.

Not so bullish, but ftm is one of my longest holding on L1 including avax.

I hear a lot of good things when it comes to fantom coin. There are no haters who have said fantom is not a good coin.
I had bought some of it and then sold it again since I needed some money.
May be I will buy it again future but I dont consider the current price has increased a lot. It has surely had some spike.
But I still think its a good time to buy it knowing the ATH is still far from here.

FTM is an old coin that is well proven, but ATH was very recent and the coin has grown almost 300 times. So it seems to me that a new high will not be reached any time soon. Most likely there is a local bounce now, though no one can say for sure. Looking at the growth of Aptos, the same thing could happen to any coin now.

There's sell The news event. 2: people will soon realize that while this is unique, it isn't that impressive or important. People can hype anything but when it comes to using a feature, it's just nyt as attractive for the price

The chance for fantom to go up even more is always there. This time you can compare with the price of ATH that has ever achieved by fantom. You will be seeing if that if fantom will able to give you lots of money if bitcoin does increase even more.

Fantom is good for the second layer solution for ethereum. I meant as long as bitcoin will be going up and fantom will be following it as well. Fantom has committed not to sell its tokens until 30 years alter. that's why you were seeing a huge jump happened with fantom.

ftm, is indeed a good altcoin, because there are so many enthusiasts, and I think fantom is an altcoin that has good potential for the future, but in my opinion, today's increase in the price of ftm makes the price continue to rise, the reason is because the price of bitcoin is rising, and other altcoins also actually experienced a good increase. so actually what made all altcoins go up was because the price of bitcoin went up, but in my opinion what made a lot of people choose ftm because they saw the ftm price in 2021 during the bull run the price was very high.

These are among the same category coins in which you can make instant profits by selling at profits if you have invested in them but if you say they will give you return in long term also then I am not sure about it as most of them are running on temporary bull period in which you can loose your funds after whales cash out their profits.So DYOR always if you want to invest in such coins.

although I did not invest in this one altcoin, namely Fantom (FTM). But I also had time to browse and research about Fantom. and yeah FTM seems like it's still worth holding on to. But I don't know whether the current price is still cheap or not. But I'm pretty sure when the Bullrun market comes fully then FTM also has a pretty good upside potential like other layer 1 projects.

Hey man, I haven't invested in Fantom (FTM) myself, but I've done some research on it. From what I can see, it looks like it could be a solid hold for the long-term. I can't say for certain whether the current price is a bargain or not, but when the bull market takes off again, I have a feeling that FTM could be one of the top performers like other layer 1 projects.

Or worse, their new stablecoin ($fUSD) will depeg just like what happened to Tron's $USDD and of course the biggest failure of them all, Terra's $UST. We can only hope that FTM did all the necessary steps to prevent this from happening, otherwise, it'll be fatal for their overall ecosystem.

one of the good coins in my opinion, when viewed from the technical analysis of FTM there is a possibility of being able to reach $ 0.1 in the near future,

Technical analysis doesn't only deal about the charts right? Or on the price movements of the coin but it also tackles about its technical aspects or if what is the utility of the coin. I know fantom was once a popular coin before and I think its also one of the top coins so the potential for the coin to rise could still be there as long as we gave it a time. The status of the market can also affect it and other great coins.

It's known that when there is a bear run, their price also suffers badly but let's wait and see once the bull market returns as their value can also recover and pump again. I am not only sure that fantom can compete with ETH as I think ETH is too big for it.

FTM was one of the top and old coins so it's not really that surprising if it will rise. Maybe some are surprised because other old coins are not doing the same or it was still early for a bull run for them to move like that however its kinda normal that some new coin will unexpectedly rise due to hype or some kind of manipulation but they can just come and go so investing on them after their break out is not recommended as we can only get trapped but we should not worry if we do that in coins like Fantom.

So, go ahead and work on your due diligence and then buy something as addition to your existing coins. Just keep in mind that most cryptos are volatile so a continuous rise might still not be possible even for the good coins.

I've been to the Website Fantom (https://fantom.foundation/) and I see they are a great project. After I checked their trading charts on Coinmarketcap I have also noticed that they have reached their maximum supply capacity which means the price can keep going up and up to higher prices. It seems like a good idea to invest there  ;D

The FTM token had a lot of value at one point and it got a lot of attention this time in late 2021. But as the price of other cryptocurrencies  including Bitcoin has fallen. FTM has largely lost its value along with them.  But they have a lot of investors so in the future when Bitcoin goes back to a good position FTM can do well with it because its team is very active and its very talented. Nothing can be guaranteed with any cryptocurrency.  So I can't guarantee anything about FTM but I can say that since cryptocurrency never stays the same its price goes up and down over time so FTM also has the potential to do a good thing in the future.

Well, I wasn't sure how it looks like that - I doubt and something we need to be aware of how the manipulation works in the crypto space as they can fake trade volume and trading activities if they want to, and this is what I think about this project. Maybe I was wrong but should have to take extra caution in choosing this project. In fact, it was not really popular in the market which means that only a few are buying. If I were you, I'd rather chooce meme coins instead if we only invest shitcoins.

From a technical analysis, Fantom / FTM has formed a falling wedge in daily, weekly and monthly time frames,

you got it right! at least with FTM, they are in the top 50 coins in the market and they have working network. now, with this phantom protocol, i guess, this has no chance of reviving itself. just look at the overview of their market -

What are people's current views on this, is this project dead or does it have a good chance of revival?

I think they can as long as they make things rights. The multichain which is a product of Andre Cronje that we all knew connected to fantom has been compromised big time and this could impact a lot on investors and traders of fantom. Surely there will be some fud or panic selling that would happened. Its just they need to focus on security cause we all knew how scalable their network. Plus they are the one introduced the first multichain crosschain.

A smart contract platform can only have a chance for good growth if the market is once again in a bullish trend. At such times, many smart contract platforms are growing strongly due to increased demand for their blockchain space. Right now, FTM is unlikely to show any significant growth. There is a strong support level at 17 cents, this is a good price to buy, in case the support holds and doesn't break.

The issue I have with Fantom for now is that there is no killer app on the chain most of them are pure copy cats from Ethereum, the recent Multichain fiasco is not good for the chain also. I don't know how much the team still has to push further development, but I fear for the chain because all these new L2's coming to the space will likely make most of these dead chains obsolete after this bull cycle

Few weeks ago there was a $200M multichain hack and Fantom for one was most most impacted chain. Now i am hearing ideas of getting back to snapshot before the hack. This might render current tokens irrelevant and rug pull every new investor. So i am definitely not buying. And looks like the chart is agreeing with me. Imho it would be maddness to buy now before we know what happens.

I used to think this was something special as certain influencers kept hyping it but i guess it was just for an exit pump and fundamentals were irrelevant to them. This might have been a fatal blow to FTM.

I am not really looking forward anymore on Fantom anymore.

With the rise of layer-2 networks recently, most layer-1 alternatives to Ethereum started to decline in many terms, especially of the TVL, which for me is very important for every network because these networks are majorly used in Decentralized Finance (DeFi).

FTM is great and strong coin but I can't see that they are growth in few months so i according to my experience is that in the crypto world can't take risk and the other thing is that not anyone say that its gurrenty the will growth soon so my suggestion is that not invest this time that type projects.

Personally speaking, I don't trust Fantom anymore. The multichain had issued tokens like USDC, DAI, WETH, WBTC, etc using their network and now that it crashed, Fantom isn't taking responsibility. They are getting the tokens issued by someone else instead. I wonder what will happen to the holders of those tokens.

Was not expecting this rally at this time but now things have changed as some of the bridging apps and projects that have incorporated Fantom have halted Fantom coin because huge number of funds transferred through multichain bridge and some of the apps that have enabled them have halted Fantom chain as a precaution and it has affected the price and have halted the rally.
