This link loads a page that says "Play now". When you click the button, the page takes you to the Utopia app download page. So it doesn't matter which link you click. This is one thing. The second. I installed the Android app Utopia, but I don't see any way to play poker. It's just a messenger. So there's no poker room on the Android app?

Yes this is, one is direct link to download page and second as you say link to Utopia ecosystem website.

I am using Utopia on desktop, mobile version is pretty new, was released just some time ago and I also never used it before.

I will have to check it myself to let you know if there is also poker client in the app, as for now and for purpose of this review please use desktop version if you can, thank you.

It looks like the advice I gave was really heard by the Utopia team even though it was only in the form of a review campaign. I will participate in this campaign.

A little suggestion, maybe the Utopia team can increase the review reward (purpose of getting more enthusiasm), because it seems that with the current reward, it doesn't make many people want to join.

Since I already use the client anyway, I would take part in this campaign. Don't think the review reward is good either, but whatever.  :)

I see that the poker room is completely empty :( There are no tables, no tournaments. Nothing. Based on that I don't even know what kind of feedback you expect from your pokerroom users. Can't check anything there at the moment. To start with, you need to attract players there, at least. In order to try out the poker room, you can at least begin by adding tables with virtual chips.

Yes in early times it was literally so easy to mine Crypton (CRP), in the client there was a mining software and anybody with internet connection could mine some CRP but now together with Utopia ecosystem mining also evolved to be able to secure the network properly and maintain it.

First of all I want to say that Texas Hold'em Poker at Utopia is really fun, it brings back my old memory when I was in junior high school and played Texas Hold'em Poker from Zynga :'(.

The Experience
I've been playing Poker at Utopia since yesterday, I've played with @CoinEraser, @Xal0lex and @wwzsocki. Overall, Poker on Utopia isn't much different from Poker on any other mainstream platform. At Utopia, users can create their own custom table, starting from the name of the table, the amount of the blind, the number of seats and also the minimum buy-in. For some users who don't want their game to be disturbed, those users can also create a private table, and create a password for that table.


As I said before that there is not much difference from other poker platforms. What makes poker at Utopia worse than other platforms? No fast table, TBH, I don't like players who play their turn very slowly. this feature can be added by Utopia team to custom table creation ::).

Utopia Poker Client Review

Yesterday and today I played a few rounds of poker with @MAAManda and @wwzsocki and was able to test the poker client.  :)

Positive:

• Everything went very smoothly, as you are used to from other platforms. There were no long waiting times or anything like that.
• I really like the graphics. It's quite simple, but perfectly adequate.
• I also like the option to chat while you're playing.

Negativ:

• If you lose all CRP, you will be immediately removed from the table. I don'k think that's so good. You can no longer use the chat to say goodbye or you are not offered the opportunity to stay at the table and immediately use other CRP that are still in the wallet. Yes, you can sit right back down, top up the CRP and keep playing, but why not while I'm at the table? Hope you understand what I mean by that.
• There's far too little going on. Nobody comes to the table.
• After a while, I had an error message in the game that suddenly appeared, although the game continued to run without any problems. I have no idea why this message appeared.

My suggestions:

• There should be free rolls, e.g. running once or twice a day. Even if you can only win a few CRP there, at least that attracts players.
• A real Bitcointalk Poker Tournament would be nice for members. The idea isn't new, but it's good nonetheless.
• If you don't call a round, it would be great if you could still see your cards in case you forget what cards you had and if it was wrong to fold the cards. These cards could then be marked in a different color.
• If a player is afk, but still stays at the table, it would be good if he would automatically sit out after 2 or 3 rounds, so that the game continues to run smoothly and you don't always have to wait for this player.

Summary:
All in all, you can use the client to play poker easily and well with your friends or strangers there, provided more people would use this opportunity. I will certainly use the client more often to play poker.  :)

My Review:

+The whole game is intuitive and has a good design.

+Another plus is the ability to talk to other players during the game.

Minuses:
-When you run out of funds to play, you are automatically kicked out of the game and you have no way to say goodbye to other players or see how they continue to play.

-On the Texas Holdem main screen, I also found a mistake: It said 2/8 in the "players seats" area, but there were actually 3 players (it should have said 3/8). The value remained the same even after I refreshed the page. I'll attempt to check whether it displays me the accurate amount of players when more people start playing again.

A normal ordinary poker room. I like the fact that you can create any table you want.

Very annoying that constantly pops up error 1003 "Can't make a move, wrong sequence".

Not enough tournaments, freerolls. Next, the table: very dark background, to read the text, which is written on the right, you have to look closely. It is impossible to suspend participation in the game without leaving the table. Uncomfortable, if you need to go somewhere, you have to get up from the table. Not displayed discarded cards, also inconvenient. To see the other players at the table, you must necessarily sit down at it, also inconvenient.

These are my thoughts in the little time I've spent in pokerroom.

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing both poker and chess on this platform. The messaging feature while playing is fantastic as it allows us to interact with each other in real time. So far, everything has been working perfectly and smoothly.  In my opinion chess game could be better if some improvements were made. Currently, we have to drag the chess pieces to the desired point on the board but I believe it would be more efficient if we could just click on the piece and then click on the destination square to move it there. This would make the game easier and more enjoyable to play.

I see that there is a table in the game section . Anyone is in ?

Thank for this suggestion, exactly that is what we want, true opinions from players on how to improve Utopia.

I think this should be player choice and we should be able to choose in setting if we want to drag and drop or just click to move.

For me drag and drop is also ok and gives such filling as we have when playing chess in real live.

please try to write something about the poker client itself, what you liked or not, what needs to be improved, maybe there are some extra features you miss

Search Features :   When a table is created , there could be a link or name to search just in case there are too many tables .

My review for Utopia Poker Client:

Will say from very beginning there are a lots of things to be worked on.


Okay, so first impression when i opened it was seeing no tables, meaning there are no premade tables, so first person who comes and want to start a game has to create the table, choose limits etc....
There are no S&G's and tournaments only ring which in this age of poker clients and options is unacceptable, for me personally.

Next, we do all that table creating sit down.....
Firstly table and bet slider feels like so much zoom out, especially bet slider, why so small omg, literally had to get closer to a monitor when typing my bet sizes...

Bet slider is the most disappointing thing for me on the actual gameplay.
Firstly buttons (fold/check/call/raise) are not in usual places, which got me few times almost pressing all in button when i wanted to do a min raise...to not talk a lot about buttons just try to make them like on every clients ordering fold/check/raise.....fold/call/raise......depending on are u facing a bet or have an option to check....there is completely no needs for 4th button staying there which is all in button when right of top of that there is MAX option to press and than easily going to a raise button and make your all in decision....

Now, these min/25%/50%/max .....1/2/pot buttons are complete fail and i really mean fail
Why ?
In poker, those buttons calculate values from actual pot in the moment in the hand, NOT MY BALANCE ON THE TABLE (for example if i am sitting with 2CRP and pressing 25%  option is shouldn't offer me to bet 0.5CRP but 25% of an actual pot in the moment). Which luckily i saw and was really shocked before making my bet....

Also, when u finally manage to get your desired bet side (using bet slider, or typing bet amount again in that tiny little box where u have to actually come closer to check) again raise button and all other buttons to make your decision are not in correct order....
To not explain more about bet buttons I hope you understood my concern.....check some poker client and see buttons orders preflop and post flop...facing a bet...or not....


All in all, theres a lot to work on, but its not something that cant be fixed of course

It surely has potential if you add at least tournaments if not S&G's
Fix whole betting option part, its size and options
Add premade table for each limit, at least 2 per limit and auto creating if there's someone sitting on both of each limit..
