At first I thought is power than anything, later on I said it's should be economic resources, then I realizes is money. I will give a brief poem here! The breeze blew and stake moistures and when it blew hales, it was just the breeze moving while the moistures is running away with fears.

The mist of human fears is control by what is next to their breath. Money has power than anything, money makes one feels secure, alive and superior. When money leaves we felt life is gone, we feel dead, we feel empty, we feel hopeless.

Currently my country government has turn humans to museum, moving without no direction, helpless and monuments because for over 3 months now the government has seized to release money in circulation, banks refused to fix money in ATM's, no canter payment.
Everyone is helpless, no money no good food, no transportation, no job, no love, no smiles, no good health.

Money drives away every feelings that makes life better. Money is truly powerful

It truly is powerful and that's why even decent people make them indecent just to fulfill their desires and mostly, the major reason is to fulfill their needs. They've got no option as they say and that's the quickest way to satisfy and fill in their needs that need to be done. The world is rotating with money these days, with every step that we do, there goes money ready to be spent the entire world's economy is requiring money and that's why every single each of us needs to do our part in providing not just for ourselves but also in our family. But, don't let money take over you. Money becomes good if it's used for good purposes and becomes bad when the opposite is being done for a purpose.

Money rules the world because a man who is a billionaire is respected and loved by everyone. Why? Because he has the superpower to control everything from money whether a person or a thing. We can’t even think a man who has no money in his pocket can easily rule the world. That’s the reason the world is only ruling by those who have money to do all the things that they want which is although a darker side of our lives.

Well, the world we live in is based on a system where we use money to exchange goods and services. It's been like this for a long time and it's just the way things work. Money is a tool that allows us to trade things we have for things we need or want. But, there's a bit more to it than just that. The people who have more money have more power and influence in the world. For example, they can use their money to influence politicians or laws to benefit their interests. This can create inequality and unfairness in society. The people who have less money may not have access to the same opportunities and resources as those who are wealthy. So, in a way, money rules the world because it's a tool that people use to get what they want and need.

Historical destinies willed that whoever controls the world is the one who controls the mechanisms of circulation, since the world is not unified and each group uses its own methods. Money is the perfect tool for those whose hobby is imposing their control over the world and its capabilities.

Money is really powerful, it makes people succumb to the person who has lots of it.  Many are willing to change their way to have it while others even put their life in danger just to earn it.  Money even changes a person and often make him betray others just to have this called money. 

Money can mold the economy, make a country powerful, and can even get allies in securing dominance.  It can also corrupt people, making them a puppet and do what their master tell them to do in exchange of money as a reward.

Money rules the world because money can buy almost anything in this world.  It is essential for survival and global dominance.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that money is ruling the world cause in my opinion, it’s not. Admittedly, money is very important as we need money to purchase whatever we want whenever we want it.
Personally, I think we indirectly and directly give more and more power to money with our love and pursuit for money. There are people who are willing to do unimaginable things hence selling their conscience and their soul for money. These are the people that let money rule and control them.
Thankfully there are still people who wouldn’t dance to the sweet sweet tunes of money no matter how skilled the player is.

If everything has a price, power literally means nothing, and will always be overshadowed by money. Money is ruling the world simply because it is what runs the lives of all people. You need money to live, and if it isn't the case, other things out there would rule the world and would be most important to a lot of people (power? control? who knows). The more money you have, the more power you have over people. You can do this because they believe you'll give them money if you tell them to do something, and if not, they'll simply just won't deal with you at all.

Unfortunately, yeah, money is indeed ruling the world. It's sad but it's the reality. Although I don't believe that love can only be felt with money or that happiness can only be achieved with money, money can indeed get you the love of your life and it can indeed make you happy.

There are ways to somehow minimize your dependence on money, though. I have been to communities where daily lives do not revolve around money.

money is the biggest influence in life, all need money to eat, buy clothes, vehicles, etc.  The suicide rate is dominated because of financial depression, every problem can be solved with money because money can change everything.

I have never seen anyone in the world say they don't need money, even monks want to get a lot of money in today's society. Our society is becoming more pragmatic, and everyone is aware that money is everything, when you have the money, you have it all. Money can't buy happiness, can't buy health... those sayings are no longer true in today's world. As long as you have the money, you will get all those things. Without money, you have no health, no love, no respect, that's what's happening.

The poem is very deep, but it is true because without money we have nothing, even though we can live like in the forest and rely on food there, but it is difficult. That's how it is without it: we can't eat, we can't purchase our needs. Even though we just came out to the world, we really rely on money to buy necessities. Also, the sad truth is that using money, they can be powerful; they can give money to evade laws and even control people.

Humans cannot survive without basic needs like water, food, shelter, and clothing, and all these are bought with money. This means if you don't have money, you are going to fall sick and die. That's why money is very important. Apart from these basic needs, there are other secondary once that is also very important. If there are other means of satisfying these needs apart from buying them with money, money would have lost some of its influence.

The government has been insensitive to the sufferings of the masses because it doesn't affect them, their families, and their friends. Nigerians are faced with inflation, increase in petroleum price, lack of fiat, and insecurity. People now have to buy the Naira as if they are buying another foreign currency. Economic activities have been negatively affected because most businesses and some customers don't have access to fiat. The most annoying part of the situation is that the bank's online and mobile channels are not functioning properly. Sometimes it could take more than three days for a transfer to be confirmed.

Some people are currently living close to hell during this period.

I agree with your opinion that money doesn't necessarily rule the world to an extent and I said to an extent because there are still few million inhabitants of the earth who still prioritize their conscience, integrity, beliefs and values more than than the figures of money and those sets of people can be excused from the notion that money is ruling the world and I would say they only make 5% of world population.

That being said, it doesn't change the fact that money is ruling the world because the remaining 95% of world population can be influenced with money. The phrase that "money can not buy everything" I think was phrased by a rich man who wanted to give poor people
genuine reasons to remain poor. Money can buy almost everything in the world and the very few things money can not buy, money will facilitate the means to get them thereby making money the sole facilitator of everything in the world.  That is why it is safe to say that money is ruling the world.

So a man who is not a billionaire cannot be respected, simple as that, which is why men are treated as trash unless they have money, the world has gone so cold on men, we can't all win, someone must be more powerful than the other. Today's world has forgotten that men are still humans, not superhumans. Because of this, the world expects a lot of more from men, and if they can't keep up, they are a failure. Money is a tool the elites use to control the masses. As long as you’re working for money, you’re being controlled by the system. I believe everyone should have a goal to retire early and get out of the rat race and really enjoy life.
That’s the way it’s always been and should remain so in my opinion. Today’s men have lost their sense of masculinity and are taught to be more sensitive; to complain;  and talk about their feelings. The ones who try to be manly are considered toxic. Throughout history it can be found that Money and status is what drives a man.

Why money??

Why only men? I think without money, no one is respected. I have witnessed a painful truth in my village: when an old mother has no wealth left to her children. Her children all became heartless, no one took care of her, even kicked her out into the street because no wealth was left, and no one wanted to spend more money to feed the old woman.

In today's society, if I don't want to use the word wretched, I don't know what word to use, if we don't have money, then even if we are a husband and wife, no one will respect each other. Money is ruling everything and it is the priority in every relationship.

Nowadays everything is possible if person has money. There are so harsh condition these days that a man cannot Offord daily uses due to high prizes and reduce income. Poor man cannot live a life in this situations as the worth of each and everything is elevated.

I think that in this era those are successful who have money and has a power. But one important thing about wealth is that those who have more money have more fear of losing it and to be robbed.

Money is power, but without thinking and a strong financial foundation, you risk being destroyed by those powers. Look at the wealth of wealth or the ruling families. These families weaken in the third and fourth decades. The politicians are ruling the world and how do they do it in corrupt countries. They do it with money. When they must have stollen the people's money to the brim. They will begin to use the money to oppress the people.
They make policies that will push the people more to poverty so that during elections they will see people they will bring. If everyone earns reasonably, no one would definitely accept their bribes and they will lose power.
So, they use money to acquire power and use power and money to suppress the people.

Money is really powerful that if you are not careful, it can corrupt and ruin you. Even the Christian Bible says that the root of all evil is the excessive love for Money. To like money is good, but when you love it so much that you are willing to do anything just to get it, it becomes dangerous.

Even if people earn reasonably, the ones that will collect bribes will still collect. The financial state of someone has an influence on whether the person will be tempted by money, but that is not all. If people who earn well still take bribes, it means that it is not the amount you make, but you level of integrity and love for money. If you love money too much, you will easily be tempted by it when offered especially in large amounts and you will be willing to dump your integrity for it. If you do not love money too much, you will not be tempted to take bribes.

Money is important in the earth we live. It is that important because it is manipulative, it can be used to change people's opinion , however some few people may not allow the influence of money on them.


I think you are making reference to the Nigerian situation when you said 3 months. Well the Nigerian situation is political which started just as the 2023 federal elections started getting attention at the last quarter of 2022 but where it will eventually lead us to we don't know yet. The elections saw a high level of rigging by the ruling party (APC) against the people's choice candidate from (LP). The manipulations of the new designed currency on the election is yet to be unravelled and unfortunately, money can influence people against their personal and collective happiness.

Money is power indeed. But what you do with it defines how powerful you are. You could be as rich as Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos or whoever the heck is on the Forbes' richest people list but if you don't have the proper discipline to actually manage and maintain your wealth, you're as bad as every body else in this world. Money rules the world because it has value, and people hold on to this fabricated concept of value so dearly that they are willing to slave themselves off 5 days a week for more of this, even if it means less time to spend for themselves. I'm not saying that I am not, because truth be told everyone who buys stuff with money is inevitably subject to this cycle, but at the end of the day, we are expected to do it. Money and power are not interchangeable. Money can buy power, but power without money is worthless. There is no powerful being today or in the past who became so powerful without the involvement of money. Money is said to be the root of all evil, but it all depends on how you allow it to control you. Because of the power that money possesses, you will be obsessed with doing both legal and illegal things. To me, being able to control yourself with money is the most powerful tool and power being you’ll ever become.

Because humans make it to be so. if you look at most of the world's problems they all have some connections with money. So like you said, money rules the world, without it, nothing meaningful can be done.
If you take an undeveloped country for instance, no matter the human resources it may have, without money or a better means of generating revenue, it will struggle to develop. Because everything needs money. I know that money is not the only one that makes people happy and money is not everything. But, honestly, everything will need money. Although some people always say that happiness will not depend on how much money you have, on the other hand, we can see how many people will always still need money to make their life. although money is not the determinant of everything, there are many problems that require money in all its solutions. Money becomes a force to measure the level of success in a developing country where all areas of development must work in unison. because of many incidents, the state gets a large income from the available natural resources but its government does not really care for its people, and finally the country falls, several countries declare collapse because of this, and instead of the people being prosperous but actually miserable

What else do you think should have ruled the world instead of money? Talent? Bravery? Courage to try new things? Innovation? Improvements? New tech? Knowledge? Smart people?

All of that is calculated by something, if you are smart, how smart are you? If you are brave to do something, how brave are you? If you are talented, how much talented are you? All these had to be calculated some way and money was the key to that. Sure when it first started it was more like "this dude is a better farmer than the other one" and that's how you used gold coins at the earliest days, but then we started to grow out of that but the system stayed. Is it sometimes unfair? It is mostly unfair, not just sometimes. But that doesn't mean that we have any alternative, even bitcoin is a type of money, and as long as we need that calculation method, we will always have money.

You need to be passionate on something and have a satisfied mind. If this is possible with a person, then he/she'll never think about money as power. Will this be reality, this kind of person can be seen one on hundred or thousands. When we're passionate about something we follow it and the same could bring money that is sufficient. At this point greed should not accompany us, and we should have satisfaction with what we've got. This attitude is must for everyone to rule away power of money.

I really sympathize with what you have to say, but the truth is that I see the problem as only personal to you or to me. I think the problem of money is dominating people's lives as much as necessary, creating an invisible barrier that makes it difficult for us to live comfortably. The general situation of the world economy is also very bleak, and there are also positive changes, but for me, one person sees that when we have enough opportunities to create them, knowing enough for ourselves is necessary. Many people are poor, and many are rich, social stratification is different. But there is also one thing that I understand that when we are living, we have accepted everything that happens, so being rich or poor is just another form of life, and if we take things lightly, life will feel less stressful.

Some international trading rules has been forced or agreed upon to keep the pace of economy and development up in the competition. In simple, there were no money (paper or digital money) back in days, people trade goods with goods and services with services. than the reign of coin came up in which equal amount of silver, gold etc. are being used to buy product and services. But then world shifts to paper money for ease in access and in carrying it. These compilation will give you some idea why there is a need of money and how it impacted the lives of human beings. If you ask, Can money buy happiness? then yes nothing in the world expect love, that you can not buy with money. But as for you scenario there is no money and government is failing then i must say (i know giving advice is easy and fulfilling it is very hard but) you guys can shift back to same old method of goods for goods and services for services. in this if you have any skill (if you have not then you have no option to learn one) or if you produce any product then you can trade them with your required products and services. Those in the world who says money can't buy happiness is a total lie. Those who can do whatever they can or at least fulfil the needs and wishes of themselves or there loved ones are the ones who understand the importance of money in making you happy. No doubt i have seen many people with lot of money and still living a life full of problems. All in short for you i can say, be strong this time will pass and raise international awareness about  you government. i do not know from which country are you from but i can related your conditions to some extent with me because we are also near to being declared as default ( why same reason, illiterate gov.)

Take a look at Elon Musk for example. He is a very godlike being. He has billions, he is making rockets go boom, manufacturing electric cars and solar roofs... He has everything a man would dream.

People often think immortality is impossible. No. You just don't have enough money (god essences) to pay for it.

But if the people didn't give the politicians this power in the first place they won't have seen or have the means to oppressed them. We're the cause of our problems most times because we know this politicians are evil yet we still go and elect them into office because of the promises they say during campaigning which we all know won't be fulfilled.

Money rules the world because it's a means of exchange that the society has adopted for our daily necessities. You need money to survive in the modern world as without it you can't do the basic things that's needed. Money gives power and power commands respect which is what is been used for ruling.

The debt experienced by bankrupt countries like Sri Lanka is because the Sri Lankan government cannot take advantage of the country's original resources, most countries are in debt because they want to pursue modern and infrastructure so that when problems occur it will be complicated, it is true that the easiest thing to colonize a country is with money, namely provide loans with high interest.

I think I read it here or on reddit somewhere and I talked about it before. I believe that money is like a key and life is filled with doors, the more money you have, the more doors you can open and if you don't have money then you do not have that many doors and you would live a limited life, if you have a lot then you can open all the doors and can decide how you want to live.

My life is very limited because of money, I need at least another 10-20 thousand dollars to just cover the "dreams" that I have which is very small, like see another nation, get another thing for my house and so forth, but considering the situation we are in, I would say that it is not going to happen, and I started to learn to live with that.

That's what you saw, in my own world, women always find someone to help them, more easily than men, if you are female I pray you turn to a man for just 24hours, you will know what I am talking about, men are loved and care for only when they are rich and can provide, even if a man struggles all the days of his life, he is still nobody until he makes it.

On the female side, it is a different story, there is no 'you are a man, so man up' in their world, they get help easily, they find job easily, they are loved easily, even from their parents.

Grow up as a boy, your mother will love you as her child, and you as a child will be saying that you love your mother the most, because she cares, get to 20+,  that's when you will know that the reason why it look like your father never cared was because he has to provide.  At this point onward, you will realize that your father love you all along, and as a man he will tell you some stuffs about women. 

As most poverty stricken country in this world just like mine, it would only normal to say that money is the most important resource you need in order to survive.

I have seen a lot, from young to old people who already finished their studies that wanted to find their jobs to build their career but still struggle due to the lack of financial support. As the world nowadays, it'd be hard to make money without money as an initial investment excluding the fact that you can gain money by providing services or selling your skills. If you want to learn or earn, most of the times the requirement is a certain specific condition that also needs money.

Let's hop into the world of priorities such as food. As what I've said above, us living on the poverty stricken country could feel the changes on the economy by experiencing expensive necessities such as food. With inflation leading the prices to skyrocket, we are left to find alternatives just for us to have a good meal on our tables.

Money is the most valuable thing in the world today because we all use what we can afford to exchange money, how do we do this? Through buying and selling.

If money wasn't valuable in the world today we wouldn't have our impressive belongings like gold, crowd oil, Bitcoin, and all the rest.

Money can pay for luxuries and whatever else you want, but it won't make your life any longer than it needs to be. This means that there is no eternity in this world, actually we only live to enjoy this world for a while. Even the apocalypse is really will coming, it is a belief. You know there are only two things that can happen, you control the money or you control the money. The choice between the two I mentioned is ours.

     It's true that money is important, but I don't believe that if you don't have money you will die in poverty, it's not like that. There are as many ways as how we can have it.

All we need is to have life plans, goals, targets, and above all dreams. In order for us to have a lot of money, let's imitate the style that businessmen do, but let's not control the money. I hope you got what you want if I point out what I'm saying.

We have other things that can work as a store of value not just the traditional money. Bitcoin for example. Then there is gold and so on. There are other important things in this world and not just money but money is just too mainstream. It can be because of its form which is more easy to carry and can be found or accepted almost anywhere.

When it comes to global transfers, Bitcoin can work better than this because it is online and then there is no restrictions whatsoever because there are no third parties that are involved here. Governments and banks around the world should consider this type of payment method but I think some of them are already supporting it.

I guess this is about Nigeria and their recent demonetisation incidence? Heard and read the news and can easily related that they have done terrible job at executing the entire thing. They should have done it in step by step manner where only single note to be demonetised. Or may be two of them and then so on. They thought they would do it quickly and try to get the currency more valued against the USD. They have not thought this through. They actually made it even worse to be honest. Have they thought about the poor condition in the country? Peeps are already risking it all with what they had and now it got worst. Hope so they get over it soon.

Besides buying and selling can be a way to exchange money, buying and selling can also be a way to circulate more money. And money can be valuable when the value is there and it doesn't disappear, because there is also money whose value is no longer there so it can't be used for buying and selling or for anything else. An example is old money that is no longer accepted by the public and also its circulation has been revoked or withdrawn by the government to be replaced with new ones.

There is some truth to this, but from one of the sources I read today it is said that fiat money is money whose value is not inherent but is created by the human system. If citizens lose faith in the money supply and believe that money will become worthless in the future, economic activity can come to a halt. This is one of the main reasons the US Federal Reserve is acting so diligently to keep inflation in check—a little is good, but too much can be disastrous.

THE REASON people make money with the things they are passionate about is because perseverance requires passion. In today's world money is one of the respected things, in front of money anyone can bow their head no matter from which caste or class he/she belong but if they have money then they can rule the world. With money you can bye  everything apart from luxurious things and life to powers like political power, economic power, technological power, religious power etc. It may sound absolute but it is the key reminder to why money does rule the world, kills friendships and even people.

3. Need money for new experiences in life: There are many of us who want to enjoy life. Those who travel to different countries to gain knowledge and peace of mind. If one does not have enough money then traveling to different countries will not be possible for him.

4. Money lends a helping hand: Those who have enough money can lend a helping hand to each other. If close family or friends have financial crises, having financially sound people to accompany them.

5. Removing Financial Stress: Every person has some kind of stress on their finances. Many people get sick because of money. Can't live healthily. On the other hand if a person has no shortage of money then he is relatively less sick and free from human stress which helps to increase his life span.

I would say it's not the money itself but the rich families behind it that are the problem. Children of rich families usually stay rich and people of poorer families stay poor, it's hard to escape that cycle. Poor families on the other side don't have houses and money they can give their children. With so much money also comes power that the family has. It's usually behavior we learn from our parents and if we see that they save money and don't keep making unnecessary purchases, the children are very likely to do the same. That way we can still save some money even if we don't have a good salary. I noticed from friends that are quite poor, that they buy a lot of new gadgets that they don't really need. May be true because the people in government are living more satisfied life but not in all countries because their salaries are so higher that they can life comfortable life. If they are printing more money then they will use illegal way which is termed as money laundering and they cannot steal money of population because they have to give answer that how they earn money.

There are so many government's persons who spend certain time in prison because of money laundering and they have to return that amount if they earn with wrong way.

Someone had asked me the question before on why money rule the world, I said to him that it is because money is the root of all evil. And he laughed which was very funny to him. Money can answer all things except life. The is the mistakes many rich men and women make is that they forgot to remember that money can not buy life which is true. There are people that have money but do not have good health why some have good and sound health but have no money. The world is vebry complicated and there is need for us to make the right decisions.

Money is created to balance the barter system,but the people who had high demand commodities had planned and made their product price high.The price of Rice is high and the price for curry leaves is low.The reason behind this was the exactly the demand for the rice is very high and needed in high quantity.This made particular people of society to get rich as compared to others.By using the money,the rich people favour the scheme towards them by using their holding money.

Even people who have a lot of money they start to stock up on materials that can be stored for a long time and they buy in large quantities and then store them and make the availability of these materials run low in the market and automatically make the price increase because the demand in the market is high but the availability of materials the market is very limited because there are rich people who stock it. This can make people who stock up get multiple profits. because they will start selling when the price is high. The more money they have so they can control the market price again one day.

Money has the one and power in this world if you don't have a money you get lesser chance of opportunity but if you have a lot of money you can take the risk if you want because you have a good cahflow and backup money, you can use your money to make and create a connection into other people, invest, travel and other way that makes you satisfied into this world. Some people says that money cant buy happeniness but for me in reality but can buy happiness but does not buy loyal people around you.

In those countries I was talking about they are not accountable to the law. Judges are either their friends/relatives or they just obey them, the authorities above them. It happens in very corrupt countries, and I hope they will seize to exist in the future, but today there are still too many of them, unfortunately.
