Title: Do you love and enjoy taking risk?
Post by: Godlovesyou on March 22, 2023, 04:43:39 PM
Some months a go, I was thinking altcoins may favour me since bitcoin is still unpredictable. I decided to invest my last cash at hand on luno, Eth, buying babe doggy, peg token and tron. I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?

if you bought altcoins last month it was the right time, because altcoins are in a good position now. last month bitcoin was still on the bottom, and now it's on top. In my opinion, it's better to take bitcoin, ethereum, BNB coins that are certain and have a small risk, not too big like shitcoin baby doge

Do you assume altcoins are more predictable than Bitcoin?  ???
It is strange that you buy altcoins that have more volatile than Bitcoin. Altcoins are riskier because no clear future, especially those meme coins. I'm surprised that you bought babe doggy and peg token.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
No one really knows it. But I assume there is a chance for altcoins to survive without Bitcoin. However, it is unlikely to happen that we have no Bitcoin in the future. Since Bitcoin is the main crypto coin, I think Bitcoin will always survive in crypto space.

Risk is part of cryptocurrency, so unlike your willingness you're taking risk. Whether it is altcoins or bitcoin doesn't matter. With bitcoin the risk is low whereas with bitcoin the risk is high. Most of the people prefer to take big risk, because it have got the ability to give better profit.

It is possible to see good number of people lucky to make big money out of altcoins that weren't known to the community. For some reason investment were made and the same coin reaches the peak in short time period giving good return on the investment. This way the selection of altcoins for investment is a big process than just investing on bitcoin and staying on the safer side.

And now it's not too late for you to do these things, research what you're investing in because you say you don't quite understand what you invest your money in. So selling to know this market just because you think the price might go up is a mistake for newbies, market knowledge is empty, asset management is not smart,... but that will cost you money. .
Anyway, this is a pretty good period when there are many positive signals from the market, and I will not be too difficult for you to make big profits in the next 2 to 3 years, but it is not a big deal. buy indiscriminately and wait for luck to come, instead of using such money, play the lottery for a higher chance of winning than watching your money gradually evaporate.

How many months ago exactly? If you bought these coins between June 2022 and March 2023 you have no problem, because it's bear market that causes the dip, and between this period these coins are very cheap, so you are not in any losses, all you need to do is keep holding, we still probably have a year or two to go before another bull market.

A few months ago if you bought altcoins I think you are lying about losses, we have seen how things have increased since late 2022. And now the active market is also very active with many launch events of many new projects, moreover looking at the BTC halving schedule I think we are also about to see a bull market cycle.

You've just learned a lesson that a portfolio without bitcoin isn't good. I've seen investors that don't have bitcoin on their portfolio but they've got some good gains because they're not like random investors and they choose the altcoins they invest in very well.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
A few of them are good to buy if you know what you're looking at. But we have to remember that most of the altcoins are too reliant on bitcoin even with how hyped they are. The market is too connected to bitcoin and that's why, everything goes up if bitcoin is up.

A lesson for you in the investment process, whether it is difficult for everyone to do market research or one project at a time. I find it very funny to see people buying some altcoin just because people are talking about it, remember that in the crypto space hype is everywhere, and if you see a coin If there's a potential opportunity being discussed, beware, latecomers have no luck here.

you need to know, the potential of each altcoin is different. maybe, you buy all of these altcoins, then a bear market occurs, so that all the altcoin prices that you own drop drastically, and so does the bitcoin price.
We cannot predict what the future of altcoins will be without bitcoin, because as I said, each altcoin has its own potential. there may be some who survive, and there may be some who go bankrupt. However, it is common knowledge that investing in crypto is a very risky type of investment. so when you get into this investment, you are ready to take the risk.

Not all cryptocurrency risks are advantageous. There are risks you'll take where you'll lose money, and there are risks you'll take where you'll make money. As far as I can advise, take the risk you can stand should your investment fail

Is altcoin not unpredictable the way Bitcoin is? How do you think altcoin will favor you over Bitcoin? In case you don't know, the whole crypto market is unpredictable. It's really bad of you to invest in something you don't even understand without DYOR.

If you don't understand how it works, why would you buy an altcoin that is clearly a higher risk than bitcoin?
Everything is difficult to predict for price movements, it's just that you take a bigger risk so ignore bitcoin because it's an important asset especially for beginners, in my opinion it's the wrong decision while I don't want to take bigger risks while we ourselves don't know their system works then it's better to choose bitcoin as a long-term asset than altcoin.

Taking risk sometime become a cause of failure, I don't say that due to a fear of risk we should not take forward step towards success but I want to say that never compromise with your money because it comes with hard work and once you lost it so it will be difficult to recover it back. I will suggest that making investment in those token which have little hazards and don't die when market become low will be better like that of bitcoin. In crypto investment risk is present with each coin but with stable coin and bitcoin we should accept this sort of risk.

You said that bitcoin is unpredictable when buying altcoins, so when did you think that altcoins were predictable?
All investments have a risk, but we have to sort out which one has a lower risk. And if so then I think you can determine which one has the lower risk. Even if we have to invest in altcoins, it's best to choose altcoins that can be seen so far.
I hope you are not discouraged by what you are experiencing, you should make this a lesson that not all altcoins are reliable.

Bitcoin or altcoins, it doesnt really guaranteed out if we do speak about future but one things for sure that these things could give out the opportunity for you to make some profits but some people do consider out

on taking altcoins considering that it could potentially give out more. The last cash on where you did put in is somewhat considerable rather than making yourself that focused on low caps or degen coins.

If you are already that aware on how this market works then these dumps and crashes arent really that shocking anymore to you since it wont be called a market in the first place if
there would be no dips and crashes as we do know.

I am all for taking a risk, that's why most of us are in here. Big risk big reward. And i totally understand buying ETH, that isn't even that risky, but those other coins and tron?
You should maybe go and browse whitepapers of other coins before investing to some obscure low caps. I mean they are risky, but can you name one reason why would they grow in price?

Obviously it's your money and you could be right for all i know but that does seem like you were investing blindly into just something.

Taking risk is another thing, and with altcoins either you will choose good project or the new project with a lot of risk.
The market is too dependent to Bitcoin, Altcoins can pump that much without it, let's just accept this fact. I'd love taking risk as long as I analyze the project before making any decision, risky project can be rewarding as well all you have to do is to analyze and do your own research before trying anything.

In case we fail and got no money, I think we can still get a lesson which can help us to improve so in the end, we still didn't lose any. Risks are quite scary or dangerous but it's better to take them than not doing any actions and just stick only on our comfort zones because we will never have the chance to grow this way. There are alts who are more stable than in Bitcoin, this is the reason why some of us thinks they are more predictable.

The OP is only wrong there because he purely rely on his instincts and he lacks research so he ended up picking the wrong coins. He is still lucky that he invested on ETH and Tron because these two coins aren't really that bad and there is a chance that they can recover.

There’s certainly no future in cryptocurrency without bitcoin. The entire cryptocurrency follow bitcoin trend and only rises above it whenever there’s hype. I don’t tell investors to stop buying Altcoins but do not throw all your money on it just to make huge profits, you might wake up seeing it dead. If at all one most go into Altcoins it should be the top ones. Buying the rest seems like a gamble

I'm willing to take the risk as long as its a good project, but looking at your given list I think i will not go for that risk.
Bitcoin is Bitcoin, there's no doubt about this but altcoins will also have its run along with Bitcoin so these two compliment each other so better to have both of this for your future goal. Good altcoins are doing great today, as we can see there's a good hype in the market and this could push the bull market into reality this year.

Let's just accept the fact that altcoins will not survive if there's no Bitcoin. If Bitcoin will fail, I am very positive that the entire cryptocurrency will fail too.
Bitcoin dominance says at all, which right now we are around 46% Bitcoin dominance for the entire cryptocurrency market cap, that's extremely huge!
That's why it's very advisable if you are planning to buy altcoins, you should not forget buying Bitcoin.

Reality doesn't change the way history is made.  Bitcoin deserves its place under the birth of the crypto market, bitcoin fulfills the aspirations of freedom, decentralization, creating a better sense of sovereignty that people have the right to use/accumulate, speculation… I still don't know if you hate bitcoin or why expect it.

The problem is that you made the mistake of talking about this market, because it's not just about altcoins, and you've probably seen how important btc is.
If you only focus on altcoins then just focus on it, and don't bring other problems, because they all have their own bull cycles, so make sure you do your research on altcoins. there. And make sure you manage your capital as safely as possible until you accept more risk. The opportunity to get a lot of profit with altcoins is sometimes not too complicated, it's just how much patience you have with the information from the market.

As a human, we must take risks in life no matter what, why because risk is part of living even as we live by day we also risk our self in one way or the other.
You explained how you risk your little money on other coins, thats risk, but even in the local market were people do trade goods they also risk a bunch while trading there interests too, and last of all risk teaches the takers more idea.

Be here in the crypto was already a risk and every day we are facing the risk that's why it's an enjoyable ride because we didn't know that happen tomorrow. As of altcoins, buy last year was good hence it was down since the last bull run ended and this year surely will be the recovery mode of it. With bitcoin being the topic, then altcoins will always be dependent of bitcoin's actions no matter what. So, bitcoin will decide the future market of altcoins you bought.

the future of altcoins without Bitcoin is difficult to predict because many factors influence it. However, some altcoins have shown significant growth and are technologically more advanced than Bitcoin, and regulation can also affect the future of altcoins.
example Ethereum has become a popular platform for decentralized application development, and has a strong network of smart contracts.

You have taken unnecessary risks on projects that doesn't matter anymore, only tron project is fair on your list OP, I don't think the rest will survive this bear market, it would have been better if you took the risk on Bitcoin, as you can see, it's the only rightful performing digital asset right now, I would have exchange those tokens to Bitcoin or even Arbitrum, this project has some potential.

If Bitcoin determines the market price, why not just enter Bitcoin, instead of having to enter altcoins which still have a high risk of loss. Some altcoins have good potential, but the rest are trash altcoins and will not survive in the market. Cryptocurrency has a high risk, so don't get used to this risk, you have to minimize the risk by learning all the knowledge needed in crypto. Learn how to control yourself well and not fall for scammers' traps

You have made a fundamental mistake in this market, your case is contradictory when last month you saw a better opportunity with altcoins than btc.
The fact that many people come to the market but only follow the advice of friends and relatives without studying what they are doing with the market, it is risky to hold money to invest like that. And I think you need to stay calm to reassess your current loss and see a new plan to fix this.
Personally, I have always prioritized BTC in the crypto market and only allocate a small amount of capital to top altcoins when the market is down, and will DCA them with money from main outside work. And when the market rallies I look at altcoins with ongoing trends.

Without bitcoin, you dont expect anything on this market to thrive. Because if it is not for bitcoin, we do know that altcoins wont be going that far.

And when I say wont go that far, it is for real because it is a give and take but not all altcoins will go afar.

Try to stay positive with you, as I realize that theory with reality is not the same in many investment situations and especially in a market as complex as crypto.
We can easily buy anything and wait for the opportunity to profit from it, although I think that in the process of learning and researching there is no guarantee that we will not make mistakes. And as someone who has ventured with a lot of shitcoins, I find that building and managing initial capital is very important in the process of investment, risk or safety, all based on the most basic elements of capital management.

Altcoins still have a future but unfortunately, we don't know which altcoins can still survive the competition among altcoins. Bitcoin is still going up and down and that's why a lot of altcoins can't keep up with bitcoin. I think ETH can still survive but for other altcoins, I don't know because it depends on the community support of each project. Maybe later, after the altcoin season comes, there will be many altcoins that can increase due to community support and until then, the condition of the altcoins will probably remain as it is now. So if you are thinking of investing in altcoins, you have to be really careful about finding the right ones; if you can't, it's better to invest in bitcoins instead.

No risk, no reward, for me if you are starting out in Crypto and you have small capital, you do need to touch Bitcoin or any of the top coins in the space, do your research and invest in projects with less than $5 million Marketcap, this is where you can make money. You have small capital and you can't make a life-changing profit investing in Bitcoin or any of these top coins reason is that the ROI is not that high gain.

There is no future without bitcoin. All the altcoins depend on bitcoin due to the money flow of the crypto market. On the other hand, before investing in literally anything, we need to do thorough research on how will this produce revenue out of the money we invest.

There is no future, Bitcoin is the main driver of all these altcoins, altcoin always follows the movement of bitcoin because it is the market leader.

It is not wrong to take risks by buying some altcoin but be careful not to buy large quantities, it is better to buy a few altcoins with only a small part of the capital, but do not hope to reap profits quickly you have to wait a while.

It is not wrong to take risks by buying some altcoin but be careful not to buy large quantities, it is better to buy a few altcoins with only a small part of the capital, but do not hope to reap profits quickly you have to wait a while.
There’s no rush in making profit, it should be based on timing and trend as well.
Taking risk is not easy since you are going to invest with your money so it should be based on fact and not just based on any signal. Always do your own research, and if you can’t take the risk don’t force yourself to do so just invest on what you can afford to lose.

Some months a go, I was thinking altcoins may favour me since bitcoin is still unpredictable.
Just for the record, altcoins are as unpredictable as Bitcoin if anything might as well be worse as they wait for Bitcoin to react or the alts to be manipulated.

I decided to invest my last cash at hand on luno, Eth, buying babe doggy, peg token and tron. I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.
Just hang in there your portfolio will bounce back.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
All I know is that altcoins will always perform better than Bitcoin, but the problem is finding or catching the altcoin with the biggest gains...but all in all alts still hold a special place in the cryptospace as they fill the gaps that Bitcoin can't fill.

such decision of taking risk in investing should also be accompanied with the fact that you are responsible enough in doing yourself a favor of not going all in, only use money that you could afford to lose then it's gonna be fine.
if you're going all in and eventually you become broke, then that's just gonna be silly decision.

Well, though it's sometimes become important to take risks to see what the outcome would be, it is not good to go very hard about it. Taking calculated risks should be enough to have an understanding of how different tokens and markets work and whether you can earn any profits from them or not if you were ever to invest larger sums on them.

Bitcoin is no doubt the king of the market, and almost every single altcoin follows its trail whether it goes up or comes down. So it is wiser if a person invests most of their capital in Bitcoin and only a small percentage in altcoins.

Alts owe their existence to Bitcoin, without Bitcoin most of them will die. However, there are some like ethereum which would probably do fine without btc.

I wish I could give more examples, but I think only ethereum will survive.

The problem of investing in altcoins is that it is not considered a diversification of investment because its price movements are linked to the price of Bitcoin, and therefore it is similar to the movement of Bitcoin if it rises or falls, then its role in investing is in speculation, as you will try to trade quickly in order to withdraw your money from Bitcoin to alternative currencies, So it's not a buy-and-hold medium-term or long-term model.

if you are a good trader you can speculation with price difference in short term.

A valuable lesson for you, you know when the market is at its best, just buy bitcoin, because just imagine the market then if bitcoin drops further, how will altcoins affect and fluctuate .
Even so, don't be too sad, see everything is over and you need to think more positively, especially now that the market is showing many positive signs, the price is better than a few months ago. so many. So what you need to do is to prepare yourself a good plan so as not to miss the next bull cycles.

There is no doubt that there are many small coins that can be trusted very little.Because there are many projects that do not make any progress after investment and are running at the price at which one buys.Rather, some even fall below the purchase price. And when the market is moving upwards, no change occurs in the coins of these projects. But still there are great and good projects in the market which can be good investment even though they are new and where you can earn more profit with less risk.Because the cryptocurrency market is a market where risk is always present. But instead of investing in one cryptocurrency, if you invest in different crypto currencies, your risk can be reduced. Even if one project fails, you can get a good return if the other projects succeed. So by following a good strategy you can have the best profit policy even within small coins.Because risk exists in every business, but with the best planning and strategy, you can reduce your risk.Small cryptocurrency projects can also give you huge profits if successful. But for that you have to get complete knowledge about these projects.

The reason why investing in altcoins is that you never know what the outcome will be. If you do your research and analyze a project before making an investment, that might make your investment less risky but even after that, it will still be a risk. Those who don't do any research and analysis before investing in altcoins will probably face the consequences.

As you said, the best way is simply to choose Bitcoin as the main asset for investment and then spread the remaining capital among the top and trusted altcoins out there, like ETH, BNB, LTC, and many more.

Every cryptocurrency investor that doesn't enjoy taking a risk will make the needed profit but what is important is how you take the risk and I believe you have made the wrong decision.
If Bitcoin is still unpredictable and its trend will determine the momentum of other cryptocurrencies in the market why not choose instead of Meme coin and Tron hardly make $1 price?

In crypto investing , risk is part f the game for us to earn but this does not necessarily mean that we will love taking it , if there is a chance that lessen the risk then grab that chance mate.
but of course there are so much to risk here for us to gain and that is what crypto means , there is no great earning if you are afraid of risking.
Risk is part of cryptocurrency, so unlike your willingness you're taking risk. Whether it is altcoins or bitcoin doesn't matter. With bitcoin the risk is low whereas with bitcoin the risk is high. Most of the people prefer to take big risk, because it have got the ability to give better profit.

.
and before we enter this area, we must understand its nature , this is pure speculation then it means we are here to risk than to learn.

By getting liquid, do you mean that you get liquidated because you have been using leverage? If you are trading futures and having your capital liquidated all the time, it's better if you take a step back and first learn and understand everything about how leverage trading and margin trading work then you should go for futures if you feel that you have understood everything.

Otherwise, you will lose your capital again, especially if you are trading very volatile tokens in futures trading. It is better to stick to more constant coins and tokens like Bitcoin where the chances of getting liquated very quickly are minimum if you know how to place your limits.

I'm sorry to hear about your investing experience and hope you learned a valuable lesson from it. Investing in altcoins can be very attractive because they have stronger upside potential than Bitcoin, but there is also a lot of risk and no guarantee of returns.

Regarding the future of altcoins, I think they can still grow and become more popular in the future. However, it is important to note that no altcoin can survive and develop independently without depending on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the largest and most popular cryptocurrency in the world, and it has a great influence on the entire cryptocurrency market.

But basically the way you evaluate and comment on this market has a lot of mistakes, when in a bear market people will proceed to accumulate BTC until the trend shift occurs, change the portfolio and Diversify to altcoins to get more profit in the short term. And hope you will have good luck in your investment journey with this market, and equip yourself with more skills.

taking risk is not enjoyable but we should understand that everything possess some sort of risk and we have to manage these risk. Without bitcoin there so many coins which are good for increasing your money but it depends greatly that how you handle it whether you hold it or just a day trader. Altcoins are risky and as Bitcoin increase all altcoins increases and vice versa but in my opinion there is no other better coin than bitcoin. I know that numerous coins can give you advantages but bitcoin is consider as a king which can never be replaced by any other coin.

Actually it has nothing to do with Bitcoin. The problem is that the token you buy does have a bleak future, so it's clear that your money dries up within one week. Altcoins have followed in Bitcoin's footsteps, but not all altcoins have done the same.

ETH and Tron are certainly the right choice, although the current price is not doing much better. But beby doge, or other obscure tokens it would be nice to avoid.

There's a future on altcoins but only into those projects which are really that having that use case or does have potential. This is why we should really be that mindful when buying up some altcoins because in all the coins

that we do have in the market then 95% of them are shit or degen which means that we should really be that careful on choosing. This is why most of us would really be sticking into those top ranking coins rather than on taking up some risks on low caps or doesnt really have much popularity. This is why its a matter of choice or risks taking if you do able to dive in into a certain altcoin investment.

If you could bare up with the risks then it would really be just depending on you because not all could be able to do so.

Some months a go, I was thinking altcoins may favour me since bitcoin is still unpredictable.

 :o

i had to read it 3 times to convince myself that i am not reading it wrong, how can you consider bitcoin unpredictable and think altcoins are predictable? these altcoins can only have high prices thanks to bitcoin, when the price of bitcoin goes up a lot, then the price of altcoins also goes up, and when it comes to predicting prices, it is much easier for people to predict the price of bitcoin than to predict the altcoin prices. take for example the chart of some altcoin and try to predict the price you will see that it becomes mission impossible. I honestly cannot understand how you came to the conclusion that the bitcoin price was unpredictable but the altcoin price was predictable, this is something very difficult to understand.

I decided to invest my last cash at hand on luno, Eth, buying babe doggy, peg token and tron. I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.

 :o

seriously did you do that? you didn't make a good choice, why risk so much if you could buy bitcoin which is a safe investment? you are greedy, your greed of wanting a high profit faster has blinded you to the point of buying altcoins that are not even good investments, from your list ETH is the only one that serves to invest, but it is not better than bitcoin. look at the news about tron:

Tron Network’s TRX Drops 13% Following SEC Charges Against Justin Sun (https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2023/03/22/tron-networks-trx-drops-13-following-sec-charges-against-justin-sun/)

I think taking risks has to happen according to some rules. You didn't take risks, you wasted your money for nothing. Actually, the market has thousands of altcoins, and every one of them is considered a risky investment, except ETH, so you can risk your money investing in a reliable project that has a view to the long term. Indeed, new projects are still joining the market and some of them offer good opportunity, like the recently added ARB token, which represents an old trustworthy project, whose developers are producing something useful. OP token is also a similar case. Finally, altcoins are risky, but you can lower the level of risk by choosing projects that have some clear advantages that don't require great knowledge to discover them.

Yes, apart from Bitcoin, you can expect to invest in altcoins as well. But you have to discard all the coins you bought. All these coins will increase your risk and never bring success in investing. Among the altcoins you will find Ethereum, BNB, all these coins will bring you low investment risk. But remember that you have to invest with risk whether it is bitcoin or altcoin.

Buying the rest seems like a gamble
but it is not the topic instead it is about how we manage the risk of investing , it is already given that bitcoin is a complete risk but profitable .

I took the risk last year to invest in Ethereum and Dogecoin when the price was very low in the market, but any moment from next month I will start selling to enjoy my profits and to prepare for another bear market to come. If the price of BTC increase higher, altcoins price will increase higher too because since the price of BTC started showing some signal early this year many people started to holding their BTC and altcoins not to sell than to continue buying from the market to be part of the massive pumping that is about to happen next month.

Just try and purchase altcoins when the price is low, I guess it will really help you to enjoy your investment because that is the simple system many people use to earn money from the market. If you are into day trading, I will advise you to apply long term trading, I believe it will help you to smile anything the price of altcoins increase higher.

Definitely you are in good position hence bitcoin is still making sideways and the best position is to buy while bitcoin is on stationary. By the time bitcoin will make a move then everything will be in place. As they say "High Risk, High Rewards" so you will have the fruit of your risk in the future. Just still HODL or even DCA at the moment to fill the bags more of yours.

You may invest in cryptocurrency but not take the risk.  Because risk is a part of investing in Cryptocurrency. You must take risks. And if you like taking risks or enjoy taking risks then it will be great for you. Investing in any platform necessarily involves risk. Maybe you think that investing in Bitcoin is not risky, but investing in Bitcoin is risky, maybe a little less than ALT Coin. So if you want to achieve success in life, you must take risks. And only those who survive by taking these risks can achieve success.
What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
Bitcoin is one of the best coins among all cryptocurrencies.  And Bitcoin is called the king of cryptocurrencies. Now if you compare ALT Coin with Bitcoin then it is not correct. But if you talk about reliability or trust then definitely Bitcoin will be far ahead in that aspect. But among ALT coins there are many promising coins that people have benefited from investing in. No matter which platform you invest in, you have to take risks.

The future of some altcoins are still very promising. But the lists of altcoins you purchased OP are somewhat questionable, except ETH. Baby Doge is a meme coin that depends on hype, Tron is facing legal problems although I am hoping it can pass its trials soon. And is it really Luno or you meant Luna? Luna is like a dead man walking right now. A pump-and-dump coin until its value goes to zero unless its founder receives a miracle and gets freed.

I am invested more into bitcoin and eth and then some more altcoins like matic and syscoin, etc.

There are people who make rash decisions and that's why it is not going to be profitable at all for them. I personally do not make any decisions unless I sleep on it for 3 days, because then I know if I still want to do it. I end up holding almost all the time, unless I have to pay for something, and recently I had to, but that's fine.

Aside from those days, for investment purposes, all I do is buy and hold, plus 2022 was a great time to buy, and then 2023 looks to be it is going to be great time to sell as well, we just need to wait longer if we bought any higher, but if we bought any lower, even if we sell now, it will be profit (even though I think it will go up more than this).

Only due to the high risk in trading, your earnings will not be constant and will depend only on your luck. In this case, your trading will be comparable to a casino, and luck will definitely turn away from you at some point. In order for trading to be more stable, you need to strive to reduce the risks in trading.

If you have some spear money to gamble with, then you may consider altcoin for short term speculations, but there is no guarantee that to going to get your investment back or even make a profits from it, but there is also possibility that you will make x10 profits within a short while, why this is so is because altcoin have been subject to a lot of manipulations lately and it owners can decide whatever happen in the price.

So that is why altcoin is considered as a high risk investment right from time, so only invest the amount you can afford to lose if anything happen, I have seen some altcoin going from zero to $100 in price but also the possibility of losing everything is still also higher.

There are so many coins in which people can decide to invest that the sheer amount of the options they have at hand confuses them, if they instead picked the simplest path which is to invest all their spare money in bitcoin and hold then they will make good money in just a few years, however altcoins are a complete gamble, and while I like to gamble this is only true at the casinos, I do not gamble at the markets where much more money is at stake.

Damn, I think you need to try and research more about this industry to broaden your understanding about it first before you even think about investing again. Clearly, altcoins are more unpredictable compared to Bitcoin and newer the altcoin is, the more unpredictable and dangerous it is to invest in.

I don't think there's a sense of hoping for a future for altcoins when bitcoin is gone. Bitcoin has already gotten too strong to die out that easily, and if it does happen, then that would mean that this whole industry would take such a huge hit and might not recover.

But forget about the future of altcoins without bitcoin or any other speculations. I advise you to read more first about this industry and how things work around here, get a better feel about what you are getting yourself into. Save yourself from headaches, don't mindlessly throw you funds away. Although experience is priceless, it's not worth the price when there could have been better workarounds. Hope you take this advice seriously. I would've been so thankful had I gotten such advice back then when I was just starting out. lol

I like to buy altcoins when the market is improving, or there is fomo about a coin, but unfortunately lately I often get liquid because of trading leverage, there are things that I understand from there, but I still have to raise capital again.

the risk of futures is very big even though the profit you can get be quickly than you trading, but if you have a little capital, then i would rather advise you to just trading, because the risk is smaller than futures and your money will not be 100% lost, but of course the profit you get will not be as fast as futures.

"Last cash at hand"? You mean from your life savings? Seems like you're one of the guys who didn't learn about financial literacy and proper risk management.

And why do you think that altcoins are more predictable than Bitcoin?

Although Bitcoin is still dominant and the most likely choice for us to do long-term accumulation in preparation for the 2024 halving, but altcoins are still subject to volatility and are heavily influenced to BTC's movement.

Just like BTCs, altcoins are also unpredictable.

So do I love and enjoy taking risks? Kind of between, depends on the hype.

Without Bitcoin, there'll be no cryptocurency market, why most cryptocurency are still trading today is because Bitcoin is still active and they're trading those altcoins to get more bitcoin so they get more amount of Bitcoin for the bull market.

The altcoins you invested in are very odd, why invest in what you do not understand as you said. You're meant to do some research before buying or investing into any project. Your portfolio is filled with meme coins and shitcoins.

Excluding ethereum, I don't see any other projects having a good run when the bull market returns. Baby doge is just a scam coin that's benefiting from the hype of dogecoin. Buy quality projects like Arbitrum, Polygon etc.

Taking risk is part of the market here in crypto , but the problem is that we need to keep at least longer time before taking the fruits ,actually i use to love taking risk in gambling but not in bitcoin investing in which for me is truly not right to act, because in gambling i only use spare money but in this ? we need to rely to what will bring in our future.
I think it is important to know the size of the risk as well. For example, investing into bitcoin of course has a risk, but not a huge risk, it is not going to go down 90%, even when the crash happens which is rare and happens once every 3-4 years, that is usually not as much.

However, if you buy a token that is brand new, it could go down not only 90% but it could even turn out to be a scam and 100% of your money could be gone. That is why risk size matters and I believe that we should be risking less than what people assume would happen. This is not an easy thing to calculate, sometimes the risk is too big and sometimes it is not but as long as we buy known big name coins, we should be fine, usually.

Definitely you are in good position hence bitcoin is still making sideways and the best position is to buy while bitcoin is on stationary. By the time bitcoin will make a move then everything will be in place. As they say "High Risk, High Rewards" so you will have the fruit of your risk in the future. Just still HODL or even DCA at the moment to fill the bags more of yours.
so this is not the right time then ,because bitcoin is in increase now and seems to be breaking another high this whole week.

As long as people keep on buying things that do not make sense, they are going to keep on losing money for a long time. If you buy all these shitcoins (well not eth) then you are going to end up being in a bit of a problem. I know that it's going to be a tough world to live in, but that doesn't really mean that we should be doing anything poorly just because it is hard to do a better job. Keep up the hard work and figure out what are the good ones, and if you just want to be lazy, buy bitcoin and eth and keep holding them.

It wouldn't be hard, it takes a few minutes, and you may not x10 easily, but at least you would be doing a good job in the long run and making profits. Simple and efficient with less risks involved.

Well, there is a bit of a truth in there and also wrong. There is no "100%" loss in trading if you consider the fact that nothing is zero, even Luna today is not zero, of course your 5 million dollars could be come 10 dollars, that is as likely to be zero as it gets, but not really zero.

If we are talking about that, then yeah there isn't a zero in trading, just the fact that you could lose 99.99% of your money but not 100% of it. That is of course a bit of a trick answer to this question, because lets be honest if you lost 99.99% of your money in a trade, then you might as well lose all of it as well and be 100% out, because they are simply the same thing. So, this answer is both "technically" correct but it's just false in our minds.

when the market is bearish, of course the risk will be even greater, but if indeed this year is the end of the bearish then you have to enjoy the risk,
because if you are afraid of buying altcoins at a time like this then you can regret it later when the market is bullish,
in my opinion the risk This can be minimized with the right strategy.

And since those losses can be incurred then traders and investors need to think about a method to avoid them, and at least on this market this is relatively simple, people should avoid shitcoins, while I understand that even some awful coins can pump and give great profits, at the same time there is no way to tell which one of the thousands of shitcoins will pump today, and since we cannot know that then it is better to avoid them and invest in good coins, which may not give such high profits but at the same time they do not produce those huge losses either.

only few of us who gather this earning but majority are losers and even end their trading career.
I love risking the money I can afford to lose like what I am doing now to all my coins , that the money I use is the funds that i cater from extra jobs and not from my family funds.

You just took a risk that will increase you in future, if you can make it to be long holding because those altcoins you bought are among the best altcoins that can increase traders higher in future. The price of Ethereum, Eluno and doggy are very low which there is a hope for the price to increase higher any moment from next month to allow traders to make some huge from their investment,  because the price of Bitcoin just increased to $29,874 which is a sign that altcoins price will increase higher too. I will advise you to invest more on Ethereum, binance and Bitcoin because they are in good position to improve their investors soon.

That type of risk/profit calculations will make you rich if you know what you are doing. Most people look at the reward and think that if it is big enough then they will invest without looking at the risk, there are few who take too little risk and in return get a very low reward. But if you buy something that has a little risk but a good reward then that would be the key to make a profit and only a few people can do that.

I personally hope that the best thing to do would be making a profit via calculating as little risk as possible first, filter the coins with risk and find the lowest ones, such as bitcoin, and then start looking at the potential profit because that would be a lot better to have less risk first.

There is nothing wrong with buying altcoins, but only if you know what you are doing. Newbies that think they will become millionaires by buying and holding a single meme coin will need to stop daydreaming and start thinking practically. If one wants to take risks, they can buy these meme coins with a very small amount and try their luck, it blasts, they will get something for sure, and if it fails, they'll not regret it.

I've seen people investing all their capital in a single token and that too are meme coins that solely depend on community hype to grow and have no proper project backing them. I feel bad for them as I know most of them will lose all their money in the long run.

a very reckless decision of course to invest all capital in meme coins which it's not clear what the future will be,
it's better to invest in something as obvious as Bitcoin.

Behind each altcoin there is a certain project with a team, and also many have a certain significance, novelty. Bitcoin is the standard of cryptocurrencies, but if you think about everything correctly, you can pick up a good project at the very bottom and in the long run something will come of it.

Bitcoin is definitely a coin for long term investment, no more research required, just buy and hold until you reach a new ATH. Beginners may just want to experiment with their money and want to get instant profits, but it will be more dangerous because they can lose it all. It would be a ridiculous decision to invest all of your funds in meme coins, it would just turn to ashes and some memecoins would just be left behind. memecoin is only used as a tool for manipulation, don't make it a long-term investment.

That line of thinking may lead you to frustration in the long run, altcoin can't be trusted and at that, you shouldn't anticipate any coin to favour you.

What you need to survive in altcoin is the knowledge of the fact that altcoins are just gambles and that you should only gamble with the money you can afford to lose forever because an altcoin is not like Bitcoin there is the hope of recovery so at that altcoin investment are a pour gambling and the risk must be taken with that understanding.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies. And if the price of bitcoin goes down, the price of all altcoins goes down very quickly. And if the price of Bitcoin goes up, all the altcoin prices start to go up as well. From which it is not difficult to guess that the stability of Bitcoin is very important for all cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin's stagnation also creates a pump for many alt-coins.But there are also altcoins that get pumped even when the price of Bitcoin drops. You can take the example of AI coins  where Maximum AI tokens have seen a 3x to 4x increase in value. Also if there is good news of any project,or any development in any project,So even without the support of Bitcoin, that token could see its value increase.Because we've seen a lot of altcoins within this bear market that have given huge returns in a short period of time.So it won't be wrong to say that even without Bitcoin a good project can give good profit to people and maintain its position in the market.

I love taking Ricks and I enjoy it but not all the time. If taking a temporary risk has a chance of making my future better, then I must take that risk. But why should I take the risk on a matter which will not be of any use if I take the risk?  I always have a tendency to take risks. Opportunities do not come around for everyone. And opportunities are always to be taken advantage of, if taking advantage of an opportunity requires taking a risk then I will not think twice about taking that risk.
I have seen many good opportunities offered to people I travel with but they just don't take advantage of those opportunities because of fear. If such an opportunity comes in my life that is good for my life then I will take any risk to take that opportunity without thinking anything.

I agree, if you only use the money you are willing to lose during the investment, then if you are wrong then nothing will happen to you but if you are right then you will make a profit. However, willing to risk your money in case you could lose it should be done with care, even at that point, like when you are willing to lose it, why invest into something that would not make any sense to anyone at all?

I would highly suggest that you should be able to invest into something that could profit you and this is why I believe that do not invest just because you are feeling like it would be ok to lose it, invest because you think that you will not lose it with that investment and you will be making a profit, be as certain as you possibly could be before you invest.

To reduce the risk don't invest blindly in coins without doing your own diligent research. Some of us are investing in altcoins because of hype thinking it's worthy to invest in, then will panic if the price plunged because the hype is over. Investing in altcoins are quite risky especially to the new ones since they're not established yet. Thus, it's important to dig deeper and don't invest just because of what you think and have no concrete basis.

Anyway, invest in Bitcoin because it is good to hold for long term then include few alts in your portfolio based on your own analysis and not through recommendation. Having your own knowledge about the coins are important so you can understand if the coins are worth to hold either for long or short term.

What I know is that altcoins have a bigger risk than the botcoin itself, the bigger you take the risk, of course, the closer you will lose a lot of money, the risk does exist, but we can reduce it by managing money in a good way.
Yes but altcoins are still profitable and as long as we choose potential altcoins they are better than meme coins,
it is important to do your own research and analysis before choosing an altcoin,
Of course there are many ways to minimize that risk.

Minimizing the risk through holding some altcoins while having Bitcoin. It's the best strategy to minimize the risk that you're taking. You're having a balanced setup because many people still don't know how to diversify their assets properly. Some think that it's okay to get whole of altcoins while ignoring bitcoin as their balancer for their portfolios. DYOR. Diversify. That's it but diversifying is being gloried by those people that don't even know what altcoins they should buy. The main thing here is you're okay taking risks and as you have that grit for altcoins, never ignore the power of Bitcoin as it has demonstrated already how it's the foundation of the crypto market.

The first eligibility for the trader is he should ready to risk in his trades.People with more trading experience will know how the risk is needed for trading on crypto currency.Crypto currency is not like the stock market trading,in stock market any one can do the profit side of 5% easily. But the crypto currency will give you 300% from your investment. But you should ready to wait till the 2-3 years also. The holding for the longer term is essential one in crypto currency trading.Ethereum will be next to bitcoin,So it can give you good profit in last quarter of this year. Some traders will fly from crypto currency after they doesn’t have potential to hold for longer period.

it's hard to say enjoy and take risks at a time like this, especially now that the market is really like a roller coaster,
I know the Bitcoin price has broken out from $ 30k yesterday and now the price has fallen again below $ 30k,
and if the price can't hold on I think bulltrap has arrived, this is why it's hard to say enjoy it at a time like this.

That line of thinking may lead you to frustration in the long run, altcoin can't be trusted and at that, you shouldn't anticipate any coin to favour you.
actually there are other side of investors and those are the people that love the risk , specially those who has complete amount of money to lose, but the best thing is if they entered the great coin and pumped surely they will earn hundred if not thousand times.

actually there are good altcoins mate(according to how it moves in our days now) but of course the safest ir Bitcoin.

The problem with investors like OP is that they are being driven by temporary speculative hypes, instead of focusing on long term results. He said to have invested in baby doge, which is clearly a bad option of memecoin to put money into. Investors who treat the market, their money and their investments like a joke, end becoming a joke themselves on this crypto market.

And that is not even about enjoying taking risks or not, but about enjoying being made fool by big crypto speculators...

There was a saying that no risk no gain . So in this case I love to take risk but not in every time and also not in every where . Yes there was a potential market on alternative coins but I think Infront of bitcoin there will be no competitors. And I don't think that I have to explain it to you more because the result is already Infront of you. But yes there was some top pairs on alt-coin that can be also beneficial like Ethereum, lite coin ,BNB some of more . But the others coin you have selected I don't have any idea about those. What ever of you want a strong and secure investment I think selecting bitcoin will be better than selecting alt-coins.

when the market is bearish, of course the risk will be even greater, but if indeed this year is the end of the bearish then you have to enjoy the risk,
because if you are afraid of buying altcoins at a time like this then you can regret it later when the market is bullish,
in my opinion the risk This can be minimized with the right strategy.

That's the biggest trouble isn't it? I mean there are so many newbies who think that they could make some profit by just focusing on low rank stuff that could go up 100x and not even be in top 20 after that. There are literally tens of thousands of projects out there that could go up 100x higher and it wouldn't even be in top 100, that's a shame and yet there are so many people who invest into it.

I keep seeing so many useless projects on this forum as well, ones that people make a big hype about, and when I check them it is like 50th in the rankings, why they hell would you get hyped about the 50th coin? That's not going to go up much, and I would rather have the top 10 instead of having something at 50th position.

Yes, most people can't understand the ratio at profit/risk and that is why many of them lose a lot of money as well. I personally feel like the best thing anyone can do would be making profit based on as little risk as possible as well. However, we are at altcoin speculation section right now, and people who would speculate about some obscure altcoin would not be people who want to take a little risk, this is the place for people who like to take a lot of risk and they will do that without a doubt.

It means that they are going to end up buying something very small cap, and they will either make a good profit and be happy about it, or they will lose all of their money on some rugpull and yet will not give up.

Absolutely right. I love to take risk because Btc cannot give you 2x in one days while risky coins having low supply has very high chances of 2x in matter of just 1 hour. I use Binance often for safe trading because other dex coins has high chances of rug. A biggest problem with low supply coin is that Binance delist these coins time to time without any warning and after news of delisting The coin crashed below 4x-6x. Same thing happen with me week ago when QLC and Nebl delisted and my 34$ down to 7$. i was Lucky one that i invested small otherwise it can result a big loss for me.

The option to hold both altcoins and Bitcoin is a good strategy. When Bitcoin is rallying alone, it is necessary to multiply profits and buy some of the cheapest altcoins. It's not easy to keep making profits. A diversification strategy must also be carried out so as not to put the basketball in only one basket.
The money used really must be cold money or money that is not needed for other needs. Must be able to set the best management and strategy in order to avoid all the risks that will occur.

It looks like a mini altseason is upon us. For now, you shouldn't expect massive price action, but BTC's additional rise could lift the prices of other cryptos. That is, the price of BTC should still rise and consolidate, while dominance should decline slightly. Then it would indicate a full-fledged altseason.

The most important thing is that we have to know when to read the conditions when it's time to hold or sell it,
many traders use a diversification strategy and it is proven effective to minimize risk,
obviously it all depends on the decision of each.

Condition, this is the first time I am hearing that because I have not seen any where that one can read the condition of a Coin, or do you mean the white paper because that is the only document prepared when developing a coin and this is the only thing that serves as the road map to the coin development.

But if there is any other such document such document that could be a warning and condition as to when to sell the coin or when to hold it will be a helpful document to read and I will love to read a couple of such documents.

To know it, we must have good knowledge and experience. It is not something easy to analyze whether to hold or sell.
Regarding diversification, it is a good way because it optimizes the chance to earn profits and minimizes the chance to lose all money in a single coin. However, it doesn't mean that we mustn't invest in 1 coin only. There are some people who prefer to invest in Bitcoin only, I think it is no problem at all. But if you invest in altcoins, I suggest doing diversification.

I think it means reading the room type of thing. Like what condition it is in, you know? That means you check the market and you check the trends and you check what people are saying, that type of thing. Like a car could be in brand new condition, or it could be driven a million miles and be in terrible condition, same with crypto, we could be in great condition to go up, or we could be in terrible condition tired after such a bad bear year.

That is what I understood though, maybe I am wrong and maybe that is not what he said but if I understood it correctly then this is what I get from what he is saying and if I am right then I agree with him as well because market conditions matter a lot.

They key on here is about "SELF ACCEPTANCE" and on the time that you do step your foot into this market then it would really just that right or sensible for you to have that kind of behavior or mindset that you should be prepared on what are the things that are bound to happen. If you do see that it would really be that worth investing then go ahead. It is really just a matter of risks taking because if you cant be able to take or bare with the risks then you would really be ending up on having these common impression or condition on which you would really be that impulsive in regards into your investment position.

Now after all the years i've been here on this space then it would really be just that normal that you would really be making yourself numb with those volatility or movement. Just make sure that you would really
be making yourself get prepared or really that tending to act according into your plans and goals. Outcomes might differ but it would really be needed for you to risk out
if you do have plans on having a progress.

I think we all enjoy taking a risk if we are investing in crypto. With so many times we lose our profit and then we make it back there is so much risk involved. We do not know if our coins will lose all of its value or if they will be worth nothing for in the future.

The traders I feel take less risk. They make these trades and then they will cash their coins for fiat. But it is us long term hodlers who enjoy taking this risk. In 5 years from now my coins might be worth nothing or I will have huge profits. That is a risk I know I am taking and a risk I like.

There will always be risks and they cannot be completely avoided.

I think that's not that simple, traders do take a risk by trading and yet if they are wrong too many times in a row then they are going to lose so much. I feel like we should not be really considering investment harder or more difficult, if you invest into something simple, such as bitcoin then you will be doing a lot better and the results will be much better as well. Hopefully it may take less time, but it is still a reality that we need to live with.

This is why it is going to be investors over traders when you are talking about risks, investors take a lot less risk if they know what they are doing. Obviously traders would be taking less risk if you end up investing ones go invest into something silly, that would be a bigger risk overall.

Risk is normal but the emotion that we feel are mostly worried rather than being happy because when we say to take risk, there is always the possibility of losing money. There is also excitement because like you said, we can lose and then recover back our money.

It was like a roller coaster ride but when that happen, I think some people will never continue taking risks. They will stop for a while and consider that as a close call. If we are talking about BTC, ETH and other old top coins, I don't think they will lose all their value in the future but this doubt only applies to weaker coins. Traders does not take less risk but what they are doing is actually more risky than what investors do but in terms of profits, investors don't get left behind.

Long-term has proven to be one of the best despite being the slowest but it's also going to depend on the choice you've got. You're long term but if the coin you're holding is wrong, that's nonsense and useless.

There will always be risks and they cannot be completely avoided.
And from there, we're all learning and those heartbreaks that we get from those risks if they're unsuccessful is fine. But the lesson that it gives back is more than what we need to learn after this market.

Since you think BTC is unpredictable, so you know also altcoins will be definitely risky and unpredictable. I think you should avoid meme coin as like BabyDoge, don’t put large amount of money in such coin also luna isn’t good investment. You can buy only BTC & hold it long term without risk.

Low risk has low gains. But imho OP is a newbie and doesn't just know that altcoins can be unpredictable, especially those OP listed. I fact i find it weird that anyone would think altcoins would be a sure bet if btc has not decided a direction yet. If anything alts are dangerous investment if btc is not looking good. And what it sounds like is that OP invested these on these just before 2023. So btc was really struggling then.

No risk no Gain. Where has no risk there has no successful. Specially crypto currency market always unpredictable and risky, who will take risk he will gain. Whne there were had no proper knowledge about crypto thats time some people get risk and bought crypto and thats people get huge profite. Amd they are now well established. It only possible for getting risk. I am also a person who love and enjoy taking risk. I always believe if i want good things i have to take risk. Because there has no risk there has no gain.

quite agreed with this, altcoin in general is rather more risky investment if compared with bitcoin, but meme coin in general is just another level of risky, since there are many manipulation going on, the odd of someone making good profit out of meme coin in general decrease along side the time has left from the initial meme coin release. it's only wise to invest in meme coin at the very early stage of its release, after that one would quite literally risk their money in highly speculative and likely manipulated investment instrument. those that invested in meme coin despite being many of them are simply because of fomo in general knows well about this thing.

There's nothing wrong if you want to diversify and add alts in your portfolio but don't allocate huge amount in meme coins. It's true that you can gain huge once the price soar high since the higher the risk means huge gains when it comes to meme and shitcoins. But it is not advisable to invest especially if you're planning to hold for long term.

It's best to choose Bitcoin and established alts then buy meme coins with the amount that you can afford to lose and see if you can take profit at the right time. Nevertheless investing is risky so once you invest on the specific coin make sure that you did a research to have an idea on what to expect, that's how it should be.

that is the essence of crypto investing , that actually go to all kind of investments because for you to earn big you must deposit bigger and that would be the basis of the risk we will be taking.
just buy  the amount you can lose, and never put the funds that you will be feeding your family or yourself .
have been in there several times and trust me , not to try or engage in stupid things like that.

Such is indeed the risk in investing in crypto we must be prepared to lose,
that's why we need to use cold money so when it loses it doesn't worry us too much,
it's not easy indeed and that's why it's also important to consider before investing.

Slogan of crypto market is High risk high return and we are all knowing that without fear at all. Every people who has been joining on the market crypto was happy and enjoy with this situation in bearish and bullrun. As long as we have startegy for counter a situation in the market it will be easy to solve that. Especially altcoin is high gain to instantly to be rich

if you bought altcoins last month it was the right time, because altcoins are in a good position now. last month bitcoin was still on the bottom, and now it's on top. In my opinion, it's better to take bitcoin, ethereum, BNB coins that are certain and have a small risk, not too big like shitcoin baby doge

I agree with you, because those that bought Ethereum, BNB really made a good profits from their investment because the price was so low for them to used huge amount of money to buy and hold until the price changed positively few months ago for some investors to sell to make profits. Even those that invested in Bitcoin last year also have something special to achieved when the price of Bitcoin hit $30,000 few weeks ago to make long term investors to believed that there is a big hope of achieving something big from their investment. If you can take the risk to hold your Ethereum and binance in this season, I think you will smile when the price hit higher in the market.

everyone? I think that is overstatement mate because not everyone has this feeling , what about those who are invested in High value then the price drops real bad , do you think think they will be happy?
i believe not mate, but all in all? I can see that there are much happy people in Bull run that when there is bearish market.
so not all has the same treatment , but best to be ready as well when there is a bear so you can buy more funds readying for holding in bull running.

there is no future that we expect from altcoin if without Bitcoin, therefore I always advise my friends and my family to invest in Bitcoin or if they want to invest in altcoin, so it is better not more than 20% of our total assets in cryptocurrency (80% in Bitcoin), because investing in Bitcoin is safer and of course it will definitely provide profit.

that's i agree, diversification is the key, always invest large share of our investment to some good coin like bitcoin and put really small amount to invest in altcoin.
there's no point risking all money just to get 1 in a 1000 chance or opportunity that might likely not to come.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the most important of all cryptocurrencies. That being said, this is the only crypto currency you can fully trust, but in terms of profitability, it has a very low rate of return compared to other crypto currencies in the market.Other smaller cryptocurrencies in the market have high risk and higher return rates.

But still there are good and excellent projects which have the potential to give good returns to the investors in the future.Where the risk of loss is minimal. However, I think one should invest in other coins along with Bitcoin for good returns. No one should underestimate the potential of altcoins.

it actually depends on altcoin that you are investing, therefore my advice is before you invest in altcoin, it is better for you to do your research first, because if you invest in a bad project (no progress) or don't even have a product, then of course the price will definitely be decrease and it's hard to give you profit, but if the project that you invest is a good and useful, then you don't need to worry, because the price will definitely increase very high even though sometimes the price of Bitcoin hasn't increased, but the price can still increase, so it depends on the project that you invest (good or bad).

that's true, but I sometimes think that investing in project with utility, doesn't necessarily means and guarantee that you gonna have succesful investments.
you see meme coin as an example, near to zero utility, yet strive so hard, what's important is the trend revolving around the project itself, if you just seeking for profits, just find coin that's the current trend.
you will most likely get some real good profit out of investing in currently trendy coin than coin with utility yet no one knows.

be conscious of the trend and you will find yourself having good investment.

If you don't understand altcoins market properly then don't invest in it especially in such coins as the ones you mentioned. You should at least scout the market properly, as questions or even settle for top 100 alts in the market. your best option during the time of your investment would have been btc since the price was lower. Btc is the only true coin to hold and you won't feel regretful, most alts are pumped on hype nothing else.

Permit me to give this that no future for altcoins where bitcoin is not sure to remain, which means they all depends on bitcoin to survive, they rely on bitcoin for their own determination of values, when bitcoin rises, to they also move along while few don't and remain on the same spot, same also is applicable when the bitcoin price goes dip, and hey also massively fall and some don't recover from such experience,so bitcoin should be your number one lead in cryptocurrency before I thinking about any alternative to it, know this that bitcoin cannot fail, it has come to stay.

I think risk should be taken sometimes because high profit can be made by those who take risk. If your choice is good and you have done your best, you will surely get profit. If you can hold on, you can be patient for a few years, then you will surely win this bet.

The second most important thing is that if you have chosen different projects, it will prove to be a good strategy, because one project failure won't affect you much. All investments in one project are always subject to risk.

As long as you did the initiative of taking a risk with the amount you can afford to lose and that's more than enough. While the others don't like to take risk and they're always scared to step on new things such as investing. And there are the others that have made it as a habit of taking risk even with those projects that they shouldn't take the risk of it. They just love it and it's fun for them so they're totally fine to lose whatever amount they're setting in for those projects.

As long as the projects I hold dont fail I don't care. Its an asset that i own. Time will tell if the bets were good.
You can assume that but you don't have the fate of these projects on your hands.

Profits cannot be made without risk in cryptocurrencies.  So investors have to take a little bit of mandatory risk.  But risk is high among altcoins except Bitcoin. But it would be better to invest in Ethereum, BNB coins which are guaranteed and have less risk. Those with a good financial breakup like to take big risks, hoping to get a bigger profit.  Because cryptocurrencies are uncertain, we are constantly exposed to risk.  There are still some good altcoins in the market and potential to give good returns. So you must do good currency analysis, and have a solid knowledge of the market to avoid more risk.

Actually there is nothing that is not risky, but instead of narrowing the risk space, sometimes large investors and have been involved in their cryptocurrencies for a long time, of course, already know which path they will choose to minimize their risk, we take the example of Bitcoin because of the level of risk it carries. have much different from Altcoin.

hopefully the project can survive and certainly only time can answer,

in a bear market we really have to enjoy it, even though the risk is big,
but if you already understand how the project works and how the charts work then the risk will result in a bull run later,
but indeed because of the FTX and Terraluna bankrupt cases it also took its own blow,
so all possibilities can still happen in fundamental coins, stay careful.

Really easy to say but a really very challenging thing to be done because we cant really just easily make things according on what our minds been telling.Yes, we do want to make profits but of course
you should really be mindful on taking up risks when the market is depleting or crashing. This is where emotions would kick in on which even you do know in mind that this is an opportunity
but once that your emotions would really be on the way then it would really be creating that kind of hindrances and hesitation which would really eventually stop you on doing such acts.
For someone who are really get used to taking up risks then they would really be mainly having those considerations on taking their positions below but for those who arent really that emotionally
and psychologically stable then for sure they would really be having a hard time on such condition or situation.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the most important currency in the crypto currency market, and is the most trusted cryptocurrency. All crypto currencies fluctuate with the price of Bitcoin. You are also right that investment in Bitcoin is the best investment.

But I don't think you can ignore all the altcoins in the market because of this, because altcoins also have a role to play in the entire crypto currency market. If a person has made a loss by investing in any altcoin, His choice may be wrong, because there are so many projects in the market now and before investing in these projects it is important to get complete information about the project. There are still many good and excellent projects that have the potential to give good returns in the future.

If you are an investor, you must invest with risk. There is no investment without risk. At first I was quite afraid to take the risk thinking that I might lose this money. But now that apprehension has turned into choice. Because I made good money by investing with risk. When the market was dumping I invested some money in Bitcoin, BNB and Altcoins. And after a few days when the market pumped, I was able to make some money from it. If you invest with ignorance, you too can achieve success. If you want to achieve something good in life, you must invest with risk. And hopefully, you will also benefit greatly in the future. These are the reasons why I love to take risks.

It just depends on how big the risk is and if I'm capable to overcome the risk so it won't become a disadvantage for me. I enjoy taking the risk with the "limit" I already made before, I don't take the risk if I don't know what is that and I can sense something bad on that specific assets such as lot of new altcoins out there. Lot of new altcoins out there are just cashgrab for the developers to earn quick money and many people fell on that, with little chance to get something on that, I think it's safe to say that unless it's highly anticipated(with so many criteria) then just don't bother if you don't know what to do.

To be honest, taking risks during a bearish season is something crazy, because we don't know when we have to survive,
if we fail to analyze then all we can do is hold on until the price of the crypto currency returns to recovery.
but if we are correct in analyzing of course the risk will be love because what we do get result high profits.

Future btc will be alive so remove this from your thoughts because these uncertain thoughts will prevent you from investing. Also if you don't invest in crypto then you have no results here. You should research about the moving market and invest in the right token which the experts people always do.

Everything should really be having a limit which it is really that a normal approach. On the time that we are really taking up some investment then you are really tending to put up the risks with your money to earn more which it is really the basic concept on making investment which it is understandable that losses would really be always next in line. Therefore, the most important thing on here is that you should really be that
mindful about the risks because if you dont then you would really be that making impulsive reactions on which it would lead into lots of errors and mistakes because you cant already thing up clearly on things
or with your initial plans.

Do you love or enjoying on taking up risks? It does depend on a certain individual but on general sense on the time that you do step your foot into any investment or market
then consider yourself to be a risk taker. It would be taking up some time on how you would really be gonna able to realize on how to learnt up things along the way.

As soon as I see the word "I don't understand how things works" then I can pretty much see the issue here. Bitcoin is surely does unpredictable and no one denies that, that's why you have lot of strategies and indicators to help you out with different scenarios and events that could happen in your way of trading. Also the picks are somewhat random and I don't know what is the reason of those picks.

Future btc will be alive so remove this from your thoughts because these uncertain thoughts will prevent you from investing. Also if you don't invest in crypto then you have no results here. You should research about the moving market and invest in the right token which the experts people always do.
Investing in anything including crypto will always have a risk,
we won't get any profit if we don't take risks as long as all of that is also taken into consideration too,
the crypto market has high volatility but with that we can profit as long as we know when the right time is whether to sell or buy.

There are 1 percent risk management strategy and 2 percent risk management strategy for trading. There are many videos playing around on YouTube and websites. So there's risk in every scenario, but still, we've got to face it because wherever the high risk leads to high earnings in crypto, The price of crypto currency is largely driven by what investors think the price should be. Investor sentiment is pretty fickle because it doesn't have any intrinsic value. All of these changes in our sentiment are going to translate into a huge movement in the prices of these things. That instability might not make crypto currency the best fit for every investor. Scammers: whenever a boom happens and people start making tons of money, scammers come along looking to take advantage. For all the legitimate crypto brokers, you'll see there will be just a few, if not more, fraudulent ones. All these risks might not make crypto currency the best fit for every investor. Cryptocurrency offers exciting opportunities and is already shaping the future of money, but make sure you do some studying before you start buying.

This is why it is callled that do your own research. There are many metal available but Gold is considered more safe and profitable. similarly many currency available but USD is considered safe and profitable so same in the crypto also. Bitcoin is safe coin so far and whenever we talk about risk so our mean is to invest in new or meme coins which rise and drop chances are much high. we 1000$ become 10000$ in some days or drop to 100$. At once I remembered that these mentioned coins were considered high profitable coins.

I wouldn't advice people that get into meme coins or the new ones. IF we're talking about how risky investing to bitcoin based on its volatility, these are more of those.
The newer ones are very highly volatile because they get a lot of pump and dump. While the meme coins, they're also a lot of it and you're unsure if they're the best to invest with.
In the end, both of them are high risk and could do pump and dump so if you're into those and you're making, get that profit as early as you can because it's not guaranteed the next day as the market could drop fast with those.

true its no brainer that bitcoin with market capitalization nearing trillion dollars, well half of it, will persists, when in bearish season like this people might always question whether cryptocurrency could survive, it definitely could survive, but also the trend will be grim a little bit and after a while when time passed and trend change finally arrived things will be different.
so many people are afraid of bearish even forcing cut loss doesn't realize that back in the past we've had the same exact situation and those that persists and hold on into their investment are having massive profit
when bitcoin reaching all time high around near $100k.

You are right that all cryptocurrency is an unpredictable exploit; only Bitcoin is not dynamic of predication. And the main reason for this is the volatility in the market, which causes loss, but I think the loss that occurs due to the volatile nature of the market depends on the person who invests when, what, and in what coin. If he monitors it in a good way, that means waiting for the opportunity by making the time a subject, entry, or exist at a good time and booking the profit, then it proves to be profitable for him.
I believe that the most authentic and important way to reduce risk is by using the dollar cost average (DCA), which potentially reduces your risk involvement. It is necessary for those who enter the market, whether it is from the point of view of investment or from the point of view of trading. Which helps reduce losses by diversifying your portfolio.

First what do you mean by Bitcoin is unpredictable,  don't you know that altcoin is more unpredictable than Bitcoin and in fact bitcoin is the best choice of investment among all other cryptocurrencies and for me, altcoin is only for the gambling and nothing more,  anyway the coin you trying to promote may give you 10x returns who knows.

But also know that you can lose all your investment in that coin if it turns out to be a scum shitcoin in the market tomorrow so yeah risk.l risk anyways is either you lose or you gain.

yes it is, though many says this is more riskier yet I dont think it is truly the thing .
because in all forms of living there is a risk not only in crypto but even in all forms that we need to engage specially when there is money involved.
even in buying our things we are risking our money and trust so why keeping crypto on the top of riskiest ?
Bitcoin also safer from more than 10 years now so as other altcoin not unless we are talking about shitcoin and scams

I think we have to be friendly with risk, where it's not just profit that we always take into account, where if something undesirable happens then we are not ready to face it. Therefore, there is a need for risk management, where we have to be good at controlling ourselves from greed and still think clearly when deciding where to invest.

Yes having a risk management plans before diving into altcoin or any other form of investment is very important but more important when you are not taking only risk but gambling with your investments because doing so puts you in a more intense risk position and at some point you will have to abide with the situation whether you like it or not.

So it important to put everything in the category,  and in so doing we have to place priority on the level of risk and capital assurances in each of our decision processes as far as investment is concerned.

Some people think that taking risks is fun, but it's all fun and games until you lose all your money or face extreme consequences, that is the reason why we always look for ways to mitigate the risks as much as possible so that we can achieve what we are desiring for without having to worry about facing any losses whether it's trading or anything else in life. So, there is nothing wrong if someone tries to find a place where the risk will be low compared to others.

They also say that when there is high risk, there will be a higher reward as well but what's the point of having unnecessary tension when you can get some profits without having to make your blood pressure go high? So, I never take very high risks, especially if it involves finances because it's not easy to earn money so losing it is hard, for sure.

The risk taking journey started from the fun and than slowly turn into regret. Initially one has more money and enjoy to take risk with 10% and when the loss occurz he tried to recover loss and at last time arrives when portfolio become zero. There is no token we could say that there is zero risk in investing in this coin but yes we should look for coin where we persue our goal with minimum risk as we can.

I concur that taking high risk will create tention and we will check token price after every five minutes which also affect our health. The best approach is to invest in coins  where profit is expected with low risk without any headache.

You're absolutely right. I'm also really careful with the severity of risk I'm willing to take. I split my investment funds into two, 70% are into some investment products like the newly introduced Snow ball investment product on Bitget, where I'm sure that my capital won't be tempered with, and a daily interest percentage. The other 30% I trade with on some coins with less volatility.

today to many coin makes investor really hard to put their money in right spot. atleast you put in bear market which is you might gain later when bull hit the peak  ;)

just wait for the time when bitcoin reacts to a significant pump in time, putting money to invest in bear season is very good for the long term but have to be patient. therefore we have to use cold money or adjust the allocation for other things. and To avoid something undesirable if there is a further deepening of the altcoin market, we still have a second chance. put the money into an altcoin that already has a large rank of 50/20 and above

I think a few altcoins will survive without Bitcoin but sure it will create some chaos if ever Bitcoin dies which I think will not happen, not even in a decade from now. I don't think it will dried up if it's on spot, maybe you've decided to try futures market without some knowledge behind it, that's too risky to take. Lesson learn try spot market and hold those coins/tokens, you have the best position now for the next bull market.

I was loving and enjoying taking risks until I ended up in a situation like yours. At least the game is not for me. There is no hard thing to do to take the risk, or even anyone can take the risk. The question is: who is capable of managing the same? That person is actually the trader. Risk management is the prime factor while trading in cryptocurrencies. If we don't do proper risk management( deciding how much profit or loss to take and adhering to it strictly), we may end up at a huge loss.

if bitcoin suddenly collapsing i have firm believe that the other altcoin also will collapse. why? simple, its because bitcoin is like the brand of cryptocurrency, its like the reason why people invest in the first place.
when bitcoin is collapsing, everyone would lose trust in other altcoin fearing that it will also collapse, remember the ftx collapse? quite literally any coin that was previously backed and invested by ftx heavily hardly could rise nowadays because people already don't believe these coins anymore.
therefore if bitcoin collapsing, every coin will at least lose 90% of its value until eventually many abandoned them.

Taking risk is good for something worthy like the Bitcoin and altcoin investment, risk has to do with the degree of uncertainty, endangering or putting your life, investment or your finances in a balance (scale) and the implications you wil be involved .

In these aspect of investment  that has to do with Bitcoin and cryptocurency risk taking is very important and necessary, when we take risk in whatever we want to do we come out  triumphantly, but because some persons are scared been involved in it, they remain stagnant in life.

Doesnt matter on where you would really be making yourself that get involved as long you would really be able to get some gains or simply would really be benefiting you out then this is what matter the most because the main aim or goal that we do have on this market is to make money and on whatever ways or methods as long it do fits out on what we do have in mind then this is what makes it important. Sustaining this volatile market is really that our main target and we know that not all would really be that successful on this field and this is why some people doesnt really that taking up that risks and just simply holding it and never make out some active engagement towards their investment but rather sitting idle.

In my case, which if i do enjoy taking up that risks? As if there are other choice? if you are really that having plans on trying to get or make money then you would really be needing to take risks for you to step forward
because if you dont then you wont really be seeing this to be that progressive and this is something that we dont really like to see. You would be needing to take action for you to be able to
see such situation or chances for you to be able to get that chance.

I'm not sure I got your point. Your explanation seems a bit complicated.  :-\
In crypto, we surely have 2 options, investing in Bitcoin and altcoins. Both of them have high risks, that's because crypto investment is high risk. There is no way to avoid risks if we want to invest in crypto (Bitcoin, altcoins). If we don't want to take high risk, just choose other investments! But as far as I know, no investment has no risk.

I agree that a person who doesn't want to take risk, probably hard to succeed. It is because he doesn't want to face the challenges, he only wants a safe thing. In crypto, it actually offers higher profits but it also has high risks. A person who doesn't want to take risks, will never get big profits in crypto. It is very unfortunate that the fear becomes an obstacle to success.

What makes you think that other cryptocurrencies won't completely collapse if Bitcoin collapses? I don't see any possibility for any altcoin to survive in case Bitcoin goes to zero all of a sudden which isn't possible but we are talking theoretically here. The reason for that is the whole market is basically dependent on Bitcoin, we can clearly see that the market goes up or down with Bitcoin whenever it moves, and it is also the pillar of the cryptocurrency universe.

People basically invest in altcoins because they want to diversify their investments and not because they don't trust or like Bitcoin, and if they see that Bitcoin is collapsing, they will basically dump their altcoins first before they get an opportunity to sell their Bitcoins, so altcoins will collapse first.

I don't see the future of altcoins without bitcoin and it sounds strange seeing people who have this mindset of investing in crypto without including bitcoin, like for example I have been considering ethereum for the past two weeks even if I want to start accumulating ethereum cause this is the right time to buy but at the same time I can't dump my bitcoin investment cause it sounds stupid. Even if I want to start my altcoins journey I will never go for new projects like the way people carelessly invest without knowing the project. Like I said before bitcoin surpassed all those altcoins and if anyone wants to invest the person should never neglect bitcoin investment.

We think the crypto market is high risk but is it really true? 100% safe if you invest in good coins like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb and many us top altcoins. Besides many new memecoins are entering this year and everyone thinks there is a chance to get rich from it. Actually all these thoughts will keep you 100% risk so buy good tokens and wait for good profit.

Lesson here, if you don't know what's happening and what are you buying then it's best to just stop doing what you do. You're burning your money but if that's okay with you then all you have to do is to keep doing what you've started. Not everything that you're going to pick in the market is going to be profitable. You learn continuously and if you've made some mistakes in the past, apply what you've learned there and be the better version of yourself picking decent cryptos and as we always say, buy bitcoin.

If you have asked me this back years then I wills surely say YES, but time is changing and our mind and decisioning changes also .

Nowadays i am not a fan of Risking instead I wanted to see some assurance this is also the reason why I keep preventing myself from new projects because of the so much risk instead of investing in bitcoin that is safest for ever.

During this time, I think I also like to take risks. Because of that, I invest in crypto which basically has a high risk. However, I also have limits to that. I only use money that I can afford to lose, and do not use the main money that I have. However, I like taking risks, but don't like making my family or those closest to me accept those risks. So, I only take risks to a certain extent.

We think the crypto market is high risk but is it really true? 100% safe if you invest in good coins like bitcoin, ethereum, bnb and many us top altcoins. Besides many new memecoins are entering this year and everyone thinks there is a chance to get rich from it. Actually all these thoughts will keep you 100% risk so buy good tokens and wait for good profit.
lol you cannot eb sure about that , while Bitcoin and Ethereum is the perfect option yet we cannot assume when they will be brnging us profit and that is what you need to learn before putting your money in this project .
BNB is also one of the best currency backed by Exchange so we must understand whom you choose are.

Every investor must have this characteristic of taking risk especially when dealing with an investment that fluctuate (crypto), just because crypto is risky doesn't give room for foolish like some investors will behave, just like what you said is a nice idea, buying at your own risk and use the money you know you can live without. Taking risk also give room for making research and any risk without research is beyond risk besides there's no investment with zero risk, all investment are risky and still beneficial. The only advantage is to be partaker of the benefit involve  Aside from bitcoin investment and ethereum, I don't know for others but I have guarantee of both coind that's why the choosed those two, I can't give full prediction of the market that's what makes the investment a risky one.

That's the rule in investing, you should only invest what you can afford to lose. Because if you invest your main money and you become unfortunate with that choice of yours and you've lost, that's where the problem will come to you and you'll regret that you have never thought of it first that scenarios like this can happen to any investor. While we love taking risk because when we do that, we're also potentially going to receive rewards.

But not at all times that we're winners, there are failed investments that we have and we have to learn from it. If we don't, we're going to repeat the mistakes that we've made and those failures are going to be the same so no matter what happens, that's what we'll remember even if the enjoyment was there but it is no fun when on the other side we're losing money.

So, I only take risks to a certain extent.
It's a must that everyone must only take risks to the extent that they're able to absorb and can be taken.

risking is part of every profiteering , because there is nothing in this world that can be taken by free income instead everything must be taken risk and this is the crypto market, but  behind that is the tolerance of  how much you can risk.

example that you can only risk 10% of your daily income then let it be there and don't exceed just to take more chances remember that there is no 100% promises from this market or even in all profiteering.

There's nothing bad in taking risk inasmuch as we are ready to face the consequences that might follows, which also means that in taking risk, we must take the ones we can afford to bear if the worse should happen, risk is like gambling in which you either win or it comes over you and you loose, any risk that will not put us or our lives in danger should be taken so that we can be able to cope moving on with life if the worst happened.

Yes it is definitely you can make future profit from altcoins market besides bitcoin. But bitcoin will give you 100% risk free profit amount but risk amount is more than altcoins. bitcoin will give you single profit but to buy altcoins you need to buy more than 2 because only one altcoins will not give you worry free profit. Moreover, the noise in the bitcoin market is high, so you can get more profit in a very short period of time.

when it comes to those things so that you wont really be ending up on making bad decisions. When it comes to risks taking then it would really be normal that you would really be needing to take up some risks to
earn or gain something on which it is really just that a common approach. Speaking about enjoying on taking up risks? Its never been that enjoyable on taking up risks but rather it would really be that stressful

I will certainly agree with you on this, since there is no absolute corrrectness of getting profits from your Altcoins investment due to scams and poor potentials of the project in the market. Spreading investment into 3 different Altcoins may not still guarantee one's chances of getting profits but as well increases the possibility of profiting from anyone of them who does well in the market.

I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
After Bitcoin I only have a good future in a few coins out of altcoins. I always recommend investing in bitcoin and ethereum I never recommend anyone to invest outside of bitcoin ethereum. Because a person can get destroyed by trusting other altcoins as we have seen from an FTX bankruptcy and the Luna scam. So I would like to advise all investors and new investors and say if you are investing go ahead with bitcoin and if you go into altcoin go ahead with ethereum. By doing so you can reduce a lot of risk in your assets by not having to take more risk with your assets.

the lesser value will allow people of much lower capital to invest, also with bitcoin though unfortunately although its a good investment it takes you to have at least 1 bitcoin to really enjoy the profit i mean when bitcoin is up 5% if we only have a fraction of it like basically a half of bitcoin then we only enjoy 2.5% increase i don't think thats good for us with low capital therefore the reason why many people are resorting to invest in altcoin because they can get much more profit than investing in bitcoin but with increased risk i think thats fine in my opinion because the additional profit that we get, after all the law is always higher risk higher return.
but with discipline we could always find some coin thats really good, so minimizing our risk of losing our money.

The only time I invest in coins is when I want to have a short-term gamble on those coins, and for that what I look for is the hype and market coverage because that is the only feature that can trigger the price of the coin at some point, and when I take such risk I just believe that I am gambling with my money and if I lose or win, it becomes a gamble for me.
But when I want to go in for long-term investment,  that time I will look for a good coun like Ethereum or other potential coins that have long-term user case, like trons, BNB, and the rest of the other coins that have some form of the ecosystem to back them up at some point.

Risk is as good as taking it when it works in our favour, but when we took risk and don't know the reason why we are taking that as it all ends in bad luck that we loose, then we will conclude in saying that taking risk is not worth it and there's nothing like joy after which it cost us, so what I will advise in this is for us to take risk which we can be able to bear and afford, then we should also consider the both side of taking the risk if we can afford either.

Dividing our capital into various other altcoins does give us a lot of hope, if one of the altcoins we choose experiences a loss to cover this. We can hope that there are other options that provide benefits so that we can cover the losses incurred. Maybe that's the purpose of dividing our investments. If all options experience losses, it means we chose the wrong altcoin or something else, the market experienced a decline and we entered at the wrong time

its only bad if the choice of investment is some random meme coin and luna i mean, why not choose other coin seriously if we invest with money might as well invest in coin that truly matters.
after all luna is known to be a shady scammy coin that even the founder themselves are currently in the run getting pursued and getting extradited around the world i would definitely not gonna think about investing in this coin.
added with the fact that OP here on top of investing in luna invest in meme coin that definitely obvious his money gonna get dried up, if choosing altcoin always choose those that are blockchain based they always give good return with long term holding since they are being utilized heavily even defi is already good enough as long as its not some coin that is already being abandoned or any coin with problematic founders its gonna be fine.
its just that anyone who tries to invest should try to review about the project first before investing.

If you want something to achieve you need to take a risk but there are just things that no matter how much you try it seems impossible to get. The feeling is disappointing but it's more sad if we didn't try. On the other hand, the feeling is superb if our efforts pay off. It's weird if you are doing a thing and you suddenly ask on what's the point of it. There must be a reason on why we are on that situation.

If we don't know our capacity, it's always better to start at the lowest level and just gradually elevate it once you think you are not struggling on the current or previous one. There are also losses apart from winning and it's important to accept both of them, so that things aren't going to be hard.

If you weren't a risk taker you wouldn't be here. People who don't like to take risks with their money put their money into savings accounts in a bank or invest in gold or mutual funds. We all like to take risk and sometimes we take more than we can bear. Actually there is nothing wrong with taking a risk if it is based on knowledge and facts. Without knowledge and fact any kind of risk with your investment is like gambling. High risk means high rewards so younger people enjoy doing it.

Apart from Bitcoin, you can expect to make money by investing in altcoins, but it must be in Ethereum, BNB. Because I never recommend investing in anything other than popular and top coins. If you had just gone ahead with Ethereum after Bitcoin your investment would have been much stronger and stronger you would have had no chance of losing your money you might have been too greedy due to which your money dried up very quickly. There are thousands of altcoins in the market and if you want to go with all the coins then you will be defeated. Always focus on one to two coins to move forward and you will have better success.

All those memecoins including baby doge are shitcoins, but if you buy at the right time you could still make money out of it. I don’t consider Tron as a shitcoin, yeah Justin Sun is a bit dubious but Tron has been pretty stable but is slowly but surely going up in price also.

Yes, of course we have to face risks in carrying out investments and there will be two possibilities that we will get from the risks we take. If we do it right, it will certainly benefit us and if we are wrong in deciding on these risks, of course we will experience losses and we must be able to learn. from the mistakes we have made so that when we are faced with the risk that we are going to take, we are not wrong in deciding to take the risk so that we do not experience failure in the risk we are taking and also we have to measure the abilities we have whether the risk we are going to take is whether it is in accordance with the knowledge we have or not and if it is not the same as the knowledge we have, it would be better to avoid taking the risk and go back to studying first.

Bitcoin is the best coin, best to invest here. But if you have more money then you can accept Altcoin. Adopting Altcoins is risky and potentially profitable, but losing Altcoins is much more likely. But if you invest in Bitcoin, the chances of losing it are very low, and Bitcoin has survived faithfully for a long time. But Altcoin is little in terms of reliability, in case you can use Ethereum, BNB, Solana etc tokens.

Yes you're right but I want to add something to that as well. Taking risks doesn't mean that without any deep research you just dip in and take a big risk it'll just make you lose your asset nothing else. Taking tisk with better experience and knowledge can bring a very good result which an experience traders doing on daily basis

Risks should also be calculated. Go have a deep thought on what you're doing. Check the parameters from your side that you're investing in the right thing and it'll end up in profit. After all these then go for it, it'll still involve some risk but this will mostly lead to positive outcomes.

Bitcoin is a long term investment. If OP bought bitcoin at that time, he would have made a pretty good profit. However, I feel that the price of bitcoin will soon have an effect on altcoins in the near future, and as long as we have popular altcoins, it is likely that we will also benefit.
After all, the price of altcoins is highly dependent on the price of bitcoin. From previous experience, the price of altcoins will rise after the price of bitcoin rises, but the price of altcoins will fall if the price of bitcoin falls. If something has an effect on bitcoin, then it will likely have the same effect on altcoins. If you want to take less risk with the potential for big profits, then bitcoin is the right place, but it may take time. while for altcoins, the risk is greater, but people prefer altcoins to gain profits in the short term.

Yes, of course we have to choose Bitcoin as an investment if we want profits that we can get over a long period of time and we have seen that since the beginning of Bitcoin's emergence until now it has developed quite well and many people have been able to benefit from Bitcoin and there are also those who regret it, because they knew from the start but were hesitant to invest in Bitcoin.

In my opinion, it is very difficult to choose a type of Altcoin that has the potential to make a profit from holding it and if we choose to hold it of course carries a very high risk, but if we hold Bitcoin then we will be able to make a profit even if we have to wait for a long period of time.

I don't love taking risk cause most of the time i loss while i tried. That's why i move to safe and secure investment. There are some policies while you are investing. Bear session could be the perfect time but the problem is, your altcoins could dump more from your purchased price. That's why you need to hold for perfect time to sell instead of panic selling. Otherwise you can't profit at all. And never investment the last cash that is last option for you. It could be more risky

Ops question is still valid even it's been a year that has passed. Altcoins will be nothing IMO without Bitcoin.
Most of the investors will be getting out of the market and some may still in hopes that a new altcoin will emerge that shall hold the influence of Bitcoin when it's totally gone.
This is the reason why many invests on this market because the money that's coming from BTC is going to the altcoins market and when it's gone, the decrease will be obvious to share that it's giving to the entirety of it.

Any investment in the world you go into will involve risk, although there is no investment without risk. When it comes to investing in any coin you can't get ahead by analyzing the market or timing unless you pick the right coin. There are so many altcoins in the market that it's really hard to tell which coin will go down and which one will go up. When it comes to investing always invest in low risk coins where Bitcoin is the best to invest in, also if you can invest in top five coins then your chances of future profits are very high. Whether or not to invest your last cash is a personal decision, but you must take risks if you want to be successful.

Isn't investing in crypto not without risk, and it seems like everyone likes and enjoys taking risks because they choose to invest in altcoins or bitcoin, in my opinion investing in crypto requires the mentality to accept everything like experiencing losses, but if you choose the right coin I think you will not suffer any losses.

Life itself without risk is nothing. And for you to become somebody or successful in the society, you have to take a risk to achieve your goal. You can't fold your legs and hands at home and be thinking that things will just come to you. You have to go out and work hard and in the process you must definitely face some risk. But those risks must be a calculated risks because you don't just have to take risks that will not profit you. And from the Op I discovered that he made a mistake by investing in multiple projects. He would invested only in few coins like two which would been Ethereum and Solana plus Bitcoin and watch the list for like some years.

Then coming to the last comment not the Op. Altcoins can't survive without bitcoin because they are all the movement of bitcoin.

No matter what you say, investing without bitcoins is very risky especially since all the altcoins you invest in can disappear from the market at any time or the market down can destroy the investment forever. But if you were to invest in Bitcoin, there would be no risk even if you held your investment for a long time in the future. So you should not invest in any altcoins other than Bitcoin.
