Title: Do women engage in crypto trading
Post by: Victony on April 05, 2023, 04:22:43 PM
Most persons may say no but YES is the actual answer
In the ideal sense the dominance of crypto currencies by women is in great progress. Bitcoin is  the most popular crypto currency and therefore a currency of such will be dominated either now or in the future.
Women engage in crypto currency transactions also like men do the reason you may feel they don't is because those that don't have not much idea about it.

Women may not necessarily get too much involvements in cryptocurrencies because of the associated risk in so many of them, but in bitcoin which i know well about, i believe women have been into it for a while now and why it seems not too visible for many to know this is because they aren't interested in gender base when it comes to bitcoin since it's a p2p network, but i can tell you I've been on a several encounters with women buying from me on p2p just from their names being displayed i know they are women.

There is no restriction placed on women from engaging in Bitcoin trading. There are many women in the stock market and other trading sectors, so Bitcoin will not be an exception. But as much as I know more men are involved in Bitcoin than women in my country. This might be because of a lack of information and cultural barrier. In my country, women suffer from discrimination because of our culture. Most women don't have access to phones or the internet because our society feels that they might use it as a medium to engage in immoral activities. While the men have unlimited access to phones and information. This condition has limited the interest of women in the Bitcoin sector.

Everyone can be involved bitcoin irrespective of gender, I know just few percentage of female are interested in bitcoin. I taught some girls about cryptocurrency and they are good traders and good investors, and am having a sister that’s into cryptocurrency investment and she is doing fine, but I don’t really know why women are not really interested in cryptocurrency maybe it’s because of the risk. We all know women with money, they don’t want anything that will tamper with there money, but men are great risk taker.

There have been increasing adoption of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin trading among women and this has increased over time since women can easily combine remote work with him running in most society today and young married and single ladies have gradually adopted the most lucrative economic activities forex trading and their successfully building themselves toward financial independence through bitcoin trading in particular.
I don't know if Binance exchange provides statistics on gender traders on the exchange, but you will be chuck at the number of women in cryptocurrency activities.

Based on your statement, it seems that due to your cultural discrimination to women, causes them to not have access on free informations online where they can do their own research about crypto, which is true since learning Bitcoin could be done online. Even back in the days women discrimination is already a thing, they were restricted to go to school and their only job is to be a housewife. Which is not can't be considered in our current situation since there's already people who fought for the freedom and women empowerment. If your country is still in the era of women discrimination then its the worse. There's a lot of possibilities that women could do if they are not restricted in online like surfing in the web and learn how crypto works. Even not online, even other things, there's many women in the world that contributed a lot in the humanity. It would be better to raise the women empowerment in your country. Not only for them to have freedom just to learn Bitcoin, but for them to have their own decisions in life.

In my few short years as a cryptocurrency builder and trader all at the same time, I have had my fair share of females who dabble in the cryptocurrency world, and truthfully speaking, none of them are in passive roles like "trading". Most of them take up executive roles in startups which is something that is both inspiring and intimidating sometimes. I've taught a couple women too on how to trade cryptocurrencies in the past few years so there's that. The industry is pretty much riddled with males as much as females. It's just that the anonymity this industry boasts of is also acting as a form of double-edged sword that disallows women to get proper credit for their work sometimes, lest they risk being doxxed and having all their information released on the internet without their consent.

Is trading only limited to the male population?  It definitely is not.  At least, not in Europe and USA.  So, you now have the answer.  Women are definitely doing trading too.  There are definitely women out there doing Bitcoin trading as well.

There are no gender restrictions for trading, and therefore, it can be done by both women and men.

I know only male traders (from public ones), but this doesn't mean at all that there are no women in the crypto space. I don't have much idea about trading by women, but you seem to have. Could you tell us about it if you bring up this topic?

The question itself is a bit stupid, to be honest. Maybe males are participating more highly than females but that doesn't mean females are not in crypto. You will be surprised to know that female traders are outperforming male traders these days. I have read the news last week that females are doing better than males in cryptocurrency trading in Singapore. I can't find the link right now.

Just got the link. Here you go- https://cointelegraph.com/news/singaporean-women-outperforming-men-in-crypto-trades-survey-reveals

Even though now we realize that Bitcoin has spread widely throughout the world, as well as someone's knowledge of Bitcoin from both men and women, but I think the power of interest is greater than that of women, maybe saying that they know this, not all of them know about Bitcoin, and some of them may only know the physical appearance of Bitcoin and nothing more, and there are also some women who know about Bitcoin and how it works and the transactions involved.

The rest depends on the media and their interest in exploring full knowledge about Bitcoin, maybe for those who are interested to be more inclined to know about it and participate I think they have joined us all here for a long time, the problem is maybe only in the mindset part of them all, can't attract the conclusion that they don't use it, even though not 100% of women know about it, And I think the effect will be big for Bitcoin if the quantity of women will be bigger.

OP, if you are happy to read some facts about women's involvement in crypto trading, then this one thread I think is suitable for your reference. There are survey results cited in the thread, there confirming that the dominance of women in trade is quite high compared to men.

"Singaporean women ‘outperforming’ men in crypto trades, survey reveals"
https://cointelegraph.com/news/singaporean-women-outperforming-men-in-crypto-trades-survey-reveals

The dawn of mankind is officially here. A recent poll from Singapore revealed that women managed to outperform men in the manliest games of all - crypto trading:
"As per the survey data, 76% of women reported either making money or breaking even on their crypto investments, compared to just 72% of men"

Since it looks like the answers were self-reported, there's a chance that women may not be telling the truth, to make themselves look better. But maybe there's something in the female approach to trading that would explain it (i.e. higher risk aversion?).

Link to the original survey: https://www.independentreserve.com/blog/news/independent-reserve-cryptocurrency-index-irci-singapore-2023
There's a downloadable pdf, they're asking for name/email but don't verify, so you can put anything.

It is also good to think that gender will not prevent you from getting involved in crypto trading, in fact there are many women who have been part of the team of a project till date. That is a fact although I am not too sure about the domination.

Let's stop having thoughts that the market is just for men. Well, everything is now having that equal opportunity for everyone. Being engaged in crypto won't require you to be a male or female, it's for everybody as long as you've got the guys to be on this market then you're all good.
Whether as an investor or a trader or just an enthusiast about the market and its technologies, that won't give any special treatment to anybody.
This is for everyone who's seeking to be and getting involved in the crypto market. There is no gender racism in here.

I have woman friends who interested into crypto trading but I don't tell them if I also do that for some personal reasons. But whenever I hear them, it feels like they just know about the basic thing you can ever imagine about crypto stuff where they know it mostly being used for "bad" stuff in the internet and stuff. But they still do it because they need money, probably just in my place but since they don't know how to explore around crypto spacing so I'd assume they will just always think like that.

Of course women do. Though they have been slower to get in than men. In the early years most people who knew about Bitcoin were probably either in tech of finance. And those fields consist mostly of men. Also men tend to just by nature have a higher risk tolerance than women. For these reasons much more men are in Bitcoin/Crypto than women. Also some women have kind of got it in their head that crypto is a male thing simply because the early adoption was so heavily favored by men, so there are definitely some women out there who avoid it because they think it is some weird thing that only men get involved with, which is too bad for those women.

There are plenty of women in crypto, and the ratio will even out over time as it goes more mainstream in the next couple decades. But for now it is still mostly men because adoption is still very early and few people even know what Bitcoin is so it still heavily favors the tech/finance/risk-okay people which are mostly men. But every year for now on this dominance of men should become less and less prevalent.

If you ask me, then yes, the reality is that there are women involved in crypto. I have a couple of women friends whom I met online, and they are involved in crypto trading. There is no clear data on how many women are involved in crypto. Most probably, centralized exchanges would have some clear data since they verify identity. In a little search over the internet, I found that 26% of crypto users are women. But this data is not accurate; it's just a survey that was conducted by Gemini exchange (https://www.gemini.com/learn/women-and-crypto-new-frontier). However, I assume that the actual number of women crypto users overall would be less.

So what if I tell you the first person who introduced me into cryptocurrency was a lady? Will you be surprise? Because Crypto just like any other digital skill, I see no reason why women shouldn't engage in crypto trading, as that is one skill whereby a persons gentle doesn't matter, in as much as the person is ready, willing to take the risk and has the funding capital to kick start your crypto trading. Anybody can do that.

Because if you haven't seen any woman trading crypto, then that means maybe she just want to keep it private on a low key.

I guess  this topic  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5447575.msg62033899#msg62033899) must have motivated you to write about women involvement in the crypto space. There is no data to support the claim that women do not engage in cryptocurrency, crypto trading is a soft skill and is not gender specific. I know plenty women who are in tech as data analysts and IT personnel. Anyone who has interest can learn crypto trading and be good at it.

It is clear that there are many women who are involved in crypto trading and this is increasingly widespread where women are now familiar with it so it is not surprising that in the future there will be more trading, especially for women and several articles have also discussed this.

Because there are no limits, anyone can do it, my friend is a woman, she has been good at trading for several years, so women's involvement in crypto trading is becoming more and more real, and don't ever think that women have never been involved.

I have no doubt women do engage in Crypto trading after all there is a sayings that says " what a man can do, a woman can do it more better" so therefore, I do not argue with the fact that women are into Crypto and also do engage in Crypto trading. I have come across some women profiles who are traders in Crypto currencies and the are proud of it, living well with their families. I will suggest you do a research online. Maybe social media, you can see them. They are many online and if it were possible, it would be nice you have a live video session alone  with them to share their experience.

Of course they do, but without wanting to sound misogynistic or anything, I think traders are mostly men due to the risky nature and men's fondness/biological evolution for taking risks. Women are more risk averse. Which is a good thing otherwise the human race would have gone extinct a long long time ago.

But that being said, a woman who knows how to trade and does so successfully is in my eyes, a more amazing trader than her male counterpart. Because not only did she overcome her aversion to risk but she probably trades in a fashion which is least risky and most profitable. While most men traders lose all their money on emotional, amateurish trading because they did not take trading strategy seriously.

Well, if you are asking if women are capable of understanding blockchain technology and making informed investment decisions, the answer is a resounding yes! In fact, I know plenty of women who are killing it in the investment world, there is no reason to think that it is any different in the crypto world. So, if you are still stuck in the mindset that finance is a man's game, you might want to update your portfolio - I mean, your perspective.  ;)

In this modern age there is no opportunity to differentiate between man and women.  Here the two are trying to move at almost equal speed.  In this regard, women are not behind now, their attachment can be seen in all fields as well as in trading.
But the difference you mentioned that women know less about cryptocurrency can actually be seen in third world countries where women are a bit behind but now many of them are very aware.
And the answer to the question of your topic will be the same for me that is "yes", I have met many girls who are involved in crypto currency, and many who claim themselves as professional traders, some in my classmate who regularly trade cryptocurrency.

The more information and resources available to learn about crypto trading, the more women will become involved and become proficient in this trade. Not only that, there are also many women who become entrepreneurs and actors in the crypto sector, ranging from technology development to risk management. Keep in mind that gender does not affect a person's ability to trade crypto.

Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general is not restricted to any kind of human in the society. Every sex has the right to adopt crypto investment or not, but it seems men are more risk takers than women. But honestly,in my country here, specifically the city where I reside, there are only a few ladies talking about Bitcoin. I don't really know why it's so, but some of the ladies are always scared of the risks involved. I am even thinking of organizing a Bitcoin awearness program here, but I don't know if it should only be for young ladies or both genders.

I know several women who are involved in trading activities. And for those who are really used to it, it becomes very good. They are quite thorough and wise, moreover, they want to really study diligently and thoroughly. Their consideration is quite mature and their emotional control is very good. Even I admit that and lost from how professional they are. However, there are also several other women who are simply not suitable for trading activities because they are constrained by emotional control that is not yet good, moreover, sometimes there are those who panic quickly with market conditions that change drastically and their unwillingness to learn more about analyzing the market, they just want to be notified when to enter the market and take profits. So, maybe this will depend on each of their personalities.

Bitcoin and crypto can have no barriers. But the world is dominated by mans and we will continue doing this on any currency. If you see women is participating in bitcoin trading more, it is the sign that bitcoin is becoming more popular.

True, there might have been a time when it seemed like mostly guys were into bitcoin and other crypto currencies, but now more and more women are joining the crypto scene. It's great to see this progress and diversity in the space. After all, bitcoin and the crypto currencies is all about being inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of gender, age or status of a person, right? Seeing though that there are several women as crypto influencers, it wouldn't be surprising thier friends are also in crypto. Everyone has a girl in thier life so most probably the girlfriends or wives of Bitcoiners are also investing and trading.

The gender doesn’t matter in crypto trading. The thing that matters is knowledge and dedication to trade. People trade to earn source of income. They do not trade for fun. Now the need of money can come to anyone, be it man or woman. So yes anyone can trade. I myself have many friends who do trading in both crypto and forex. Not only they trade, but also earn steady profits from it. So I would say now the world is changing, each gender now has equal qualities and skills. Now all genders are same.

Op, the crypto market is not gender specific; it is not only for men; women are also doing very well when it comes to trading.
And if you take a good look at the forum and notice some female users here in the forum, you'll notice that when it comes to giving financial and risk management advice, they are the best and do it better than men do, just take a look at lovesmayfamilis and mk4 one look at their post tells you that indeed they know what their shit when it comes to risk management and I'm sure you might even mistake them for men at first like I did.
So don't go around with the idea that they're are no women involved in the crypto space.

There are many women in crypto trading today, and many are ready to engage themselves to be involve because they have heard and saw what crypto trading has done to those that invested a huge amount of money some years ago to became a wealthy women in the community. I think, crypto trading is made for both men and women but men have more time in crypto trading than women that made men to be ahead of women in profits making, because men know when to invest and expect something huge to embrace. But women have a lot of home activities to carry out to make the home look good and to make food available for the family which may cause women not to have full time in crypto trading.

But I also think that the majority of men do it.

Then there is no one prohibiting that women should not trade, it is also good for them to know this so that they can
also understand the feeling of making money here in the crypto space somehow.

Men are more involved but it doesn't take away the presence of women in this field. Even in this forum, there are women so it shows that women are also interested in bitcoin either trading or investment, but not to a large extent like the men are.

I personally know of a friend of the opposite gender that was deeply engaged in trading cryptocurrency long before I even decided to start to invest in bitcoins.

Women who are conscious about becoming independent financially are in cryptocurrency trading.

Your statement is so stereotyping. Saying that women have less time for crypto trading because of house work and less chances of making profit shows how misogynist you are. Like all the other things, crypto world has been male-dominated but there has been a shift in recent years as more women have become involved. Women are often underrepresented in the cryptocurrency industry which creates a sense of isolation for women who are interested in participating. Also, women in cryptocurrency trading face stereotypes about their abilities or interests. Just like how youve said it.  As the cryptocurrency industry continues to grow and same for women who enter and excel in various roles like including trading, engineering, marketing, and everything. Yeah there are still  challenges because there are still people like you and there are biases to overcome but the the cryptocurrency trading industry is becoming more diverse and inclusive, creating opportunities for women to contribute and succeed. There are so many women involved in crypto world than anyone can imagine, they just  don't make a big deal out of it.

There has been the same thread like this years ago and I think it'll will be a great help for you to get back to it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2530836.0

I don't know if this is a question or an answer, but trading is not gender biased; it is not exclusive for men or women as it was made to give us all equal opportunity to earn profit, and the truth is that you can see that there are a couple of women that are more successful than men because they are more disciplined and follow their rules before they trade. I really like following some female traders on social media because they are good at recognizing their biases.

I agree that there are no gender rules in trading, indeed there are some women who are successful in crypto trading including in my country because it is true that as you said women are more thorough and disciplined in their trades.
But if we talk about domination today, it is true that men dominate trading, I believe that from the factor of the members of the crypto community and most of them are men and I only see a few women who are definitely the same in trading.

I agree, why are there always questions like this, and are there always comparisons between women and men not only in crypto but in all fields? While this is a question, but it clearly causes thoughts on whether there is anything wrong with women engaging in crypto trading. They are like us, as long as they have passion and knowledge, they can do whatever they want without anyone's permission. These questions only create more distance or distinction between men and women.

Women are a half of the world's population, and while women have fewer opportunities and unequal access to many things in many countries compared to men, there are still plenty of places and options. So of course some women do trading. I know one of them. She learned about cryptos from me some time ago and then got interested in crypto trading. She's very good at Maths and Logic, and she got pretty successful in trading. Moreover, she also taught her partner about trading and then they even made a small informal group of teaching trading to others.
The question is perhaps about the ratio of men to women in crypto trading, and it's likely that there are more men than women.

In my opinion, in risky and high-risk fields such as cryptocurrency investment or gambling, the percentage of female participation may be lower than that of men. They like security and certainty, are not too adventurous, and are not as willing to take risks as men. But that doesn't mean there are no women in the trade, I still know some women in the market, but they are quite discreet and unobtrusive like us. Sometimes I find that they are better than us.

To support your assumption, I guess I can also say that several of my co-workers especially women have also become traders over the past year. I know some of them well, but I don't know if they are already pro traders or just interested in trading because there are other influential people behind them. This proves that women's involvement in crypto be it trading or investing is not surprising, they also have the knowledge and skills to be successful in trading, but I'm not sure how many women are already involved in trading without an accurate survey.

It might be good idea to conduct special survey for forum members where it can support assumptions about women's involvement in trading crypto, but privacy must be considered so as not to harm one another.

This industry is all about equality. Although that this is an industry dominated by men, that doesn't mean women can't get involved. Of course they are, especially when it comes to cryptocurrency trading.

I've known some women here in the Philippines who are active into cryptocurrency trading, no matter if it's spot, futures, margin, etc., even the traditional stocks.

They're capable of having the same knowledge in crypto trading as men. Equality at its finest.

2023 is an era that is no longer limiting every woman, now women emancipation has spread throughout the world so there are no restrictions for women to do something they like, the same goes with crypto investment of course women are now starting to open up to digital investment even though actually we cannot deny that women are more inclined to invest in gold or other investments that are more real, although there is no definite survey of how many women are involved in the crypto world, but I dare say that maybe 30% or 35% of women in this world already know about crypto especially bitcoin.

Some statistics do make data about bitcoin users based on gender, but I personally still doubt the data considering that bitcoin was not designed to also identify the gender of users.
Even when it comes to any specific bitcoin needs, gender doesn't matter. Just light knowledge.

From what is in the field we can see that the crypto world is dominated by men and it is quite rare to find a woman who is interested in cryptocurrencies or blockchain. Even though now many women have started to join the crypto market, the number is much smaller compared to the dominance of men.

I can't say the percentage of women to men in cryptocurrency, but if a poll can be generated you can deduce that, I contribute a percentage to women because I am one.

Defin there's a good number of our active women in bitcoin world but we may not know how to take the statistics on their numbers because most of women always stay salient in most cases from being recognized, but that doesn't mean their effective roles were not felt at all, if you consider the forum as well, we have a number of them but they feels going low with their privacy because being a woman or man doesn't make any difference from the quality of what they should give out.

Cryptocurrency is an open way to get involved in it and there is no restrictions of age and gender to be a part of cryptocurrency investment. Now its depends on women that whether they become a part of it or not.

It is not necessary that only man will be successful but success can also be a future for women who make investment in Bitcoin but I think the mind of man are more likely to accept the loss and can enjoy the success but in contract women cannot bear such activities of losing money therefore women are not so  involved in risky field.

There are lots of women who are involved in cryptocurrency and they achieve good revenue from it but not all the women are familiar with it.

Well, that's what I know, women are not as popular as men who are involved in crypto trading a lot because this is based on some participants showing 10% and I don't know whether this will be accurate or not but women have more careers than trading crypto.
There are many reasons where women are less involved in cryptocurrencies than men, but I'm not completely against where women can't do it, in fact there are some women who can do business with crypto or even become officials in several well-known companies and there are many examples.

I and some friends often share information or learn from each other. We support her so she can fight her cancer. But unfortunately, fate had other plans and she couldn't fight his cancer. She passed away  :'( :'(

We know the news from her brother, who we also know. That's really sad news for us because we are like sisters.

While I still know some other female friends who joined the local community. There we often share all things crypto and also learn from each other.

Gender involvement is not based on any reason, because bitcoin or crypto is not created only for men or women, but so far the involvement of men is far greater than the percentage of women and it is possible that in the future women will also dominate. Ignorance is not a basis for saying women do not dominate involvement in Bitcoin or Crypto, because technological developments can be accessed by anyone at this time.

A more rational reason in my opinion is at the level of women's thinking and not daring to take risks like men to get involved in bitcoin or crypto, most of the women around me say so and they really avoid any form of risk in any investment, normally women play it more safe like saving money in savings or buy jewelry.

It is usually seen that women has less interest in technology compared to men. Mostly regarding new technology. But we have seen many of them joining the crypto industries. We are only able to know that because they choose to disclose their identity. But we don't know about many who hasn't disclosed their identity. We only see individuals doing good on trading and assume that it's a male. But it could be the opposite too.
So in conclusion, it doesn't matter who is doing what and what their gender is. Do what you usually do and forget about it.

What men can do today, women too are also capable which means if men can trade well with crypto, women too are also trying their best to excel in crypto. As there is no gender restrictions in trading, so both men and women can equally engage in crypto trading and succeed as well. Though it’s seldom to see women engaging in crypto, but I don’t think they still have to come out in the market so their efforts will be recognized. I believe traders should do it privately, so no need to expose their genders when trading.

So what if I tell you the first person who introduced me into cryptocurrency was a lady? Will you be surprise? Because Crypto just like any other digital skill, I see no reason why women shouldn't engage in crypto trading, as that is one skill whereby a persons gentleness doesn't matter, in as much as the person is ready, and willing to take the risk and has the funding capital to kick start your crypto trading. Anybody can do that.

Because if you haven't seen any woman trading crypto, then that means maybe she just wants to keep it private on a low key.
Research has it that women are far more better cryptocurrency traders than men since women's level of concentration is a bit higher than that of men and at that even if it looks so unpopular for women to make their Bitcoin/crypto involvement public their still make practical approach to actively gain from the growing cryptocurrency market today.
So I believe you when you said the woman was the first person to have to introduce you to cryptocurrency and in my locality woman make up a high percentage of traders we have as most names that pop up while doing p2p trading are mostly women.

In to this article titled (https://coinmarketcap.com/community/articles/63caf8aa7f1d4a08206f0d1a/), Women are getting more and more invested in crypto: Survey, they reported that:

Quote
Survey results show that women are intensely interested in cryptocurrency. According to  eToro’s data, ownership climbed from 29% in the third quarter of 2022 to 34% in the most recent quarter. This, according to the eToro team, indicates that cryptocurrency is “succeeding where traditional financial markets have sometimes failed,” which is why it has risen in popularity among women.

So globally, more women are getting in to cryptocurrency, why shouldn't they? The world is gender and the cryptocurrency market is genderless. I heard of a woman in the middle east  (http://born2invest.com/articles/how-women-shaking-up-cryptocurrency-world/)who teaches girls to code and pay them in bitcoins. So this in my opinion is part of the reason that lead to more adoption of cryptocurrency among the female gender.

Exactly. Trading is not just limited to men as both men and women have equal opportunities to trade and earn significant profits. But it’s undeniable that there are higher population of men who are into trading than women but that does not mean that women are incapable to trade. There are still quite number of women who have made successful trades because of their high determination and eagerness to trade and earn valuable profits.

I don't think with men is dominance in Bitcoin investment right now due many women in my social Facebook friend list as women.

Seems women have more detail about cryptocurrency investment, based on with several time I got my friend as women with earn profit from Bitcoin and details research before investing in Bitcoin or altcoin, current condition right now not problem yet between women active in cryptocurrency because not matter about your gender but how smart when researching some project before investing.

No that's probably not the reason why men think there is less involvement of women in crypto instead, each one has their own judging perspective which is unpredictable, overall, things revolve around no knowledge (as you mentioned) but there are many surveys has been done to get you an idea of how many women are involved in crypto trading and some of these stats are shared by Wazirx exchange because they have the right data through KYC details so I think it's quite legit, according to them.
Quote
As per the WazirX survey, trading volume by female users has increased 3.3 per cent in a year, growing from 15.27 per cent in 2021 to 18.57 per cent last year. Combined, women investors, holds an amount of Rs 354.9 crores in their wallets.

Overall, women are in great numbers than men in the world but still, they do not give cryptocurrency a try, WHY? maybe they do not want to, like most of them have no responsibility to earn money to face the financial requirements of the home she just has to manage the home and kids like (housewives) but some are working women who love to work and want to face there expenses on there own but still, housewives not earning money, number of them are greater throughout the world. According to stats of Ownership of Cryptocurrency (https://triple-a.io/crypto-ownership-data/), 37% of female owns it.

For sure there are women who are involved with trading on which it would really be just that normal because there's no way that we could be able to know on whose trading behind those monitors

Thing here is that you should do your best on sustaining yourself with this unpredictable market.

According to my understanding the involvement of Women into cryptocurrency have increased over time. The best thing, they are much into accumulating more and more for the future than focusing on trading of cryptocurrencies. Women have got good patience than men which makes them better hodlers than traders. There are good number of Women traders, but those are really low when compared to the men's in the same trading practice. With time things could change as women are dominant in most of the industry. There is good increase in the number of female cryptocurrency traders over the past two years. In specific the 25-35 age group have made good number of signup.

In my opinion, of course there are men and women who do crypto trading, but if my look at the market and I always see a chat room on one of the exchange applications, it turns out that there are more male names than women, so in my opinion, only a small proportion of women trade bitcoin.

but for the real thing I don't know because the number of people trading bitcoin in the world is very large and very difficult to predict.

I also think like you, because my friends involved in cryptocurrency are mostly male, almost not female. We don't have data on this, but it would be nice if more women entered the trade. We are an equal world, so I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome more women to the market.

The cryptocurrency world is open to everyone, regardless of gender. Both men and women have equal opportunities to participate in the market, and there is no reason why women can't be as successful as men. With the right education, resources and support, women can become successful crypto traders and investors.

The number of women participating in cryptocurrency transactions is steadily increasing. In fact, women are increasingly interested in the world of crypto trading, and they are making their presence known. A recent survey conducted by Gemini, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, found that 39% of women who responded to the survey had invested in cryptocurrency, while 17% said they were interested in investing in the future.

It is true that the world of trading has been dominated by men since the beginning but since 2019 the situation has actually started to turn around as a survey has shown that 43% of women have joined trading.Well this number has increased now I think it's almost equal now although the amount may be different in different parts of the world. So now it would be wrong to think that women have less idea about Cryptocurrencies trading.

Yes, they do, you can't basically know the actual percentage but they obviously do, and I say this because my wife does cryptocurrency trading, and I know a lot of other women who do it as well, so the answer to your question is yes, of course. The world is moving forward at a very fast pace, and women that are smart understand what they need to do to keep up.

Their involvement with cryptocurrencies will surely increase over time as the word spreads around more. I recently saw the news that in a country, women are dominating the male traders and are earning a higher percentage of profit compared to men.

Women can also engage in crypto trading, everyone's can trade and it has no gender included. I have many friends who's women, she's good in trading and also I learned something about trading because of her. In this era, not just men are interested to make money online or onsite, some women are interested like this crypto trading to make investment and income. This is the opportunity to make a profit since it's long term.

And gender or any race can learn about crypto trading, not just about crypto but some cryptocurrency related  ;)

Men who have vision for the women teach them how to invest in Bitcoin, and they both involved themselves in crypto, the man teaches her how to trade and they both work to get the money. This concept of women becoming active in the crypto market is even more interesting, considering the fact that they can also make money and become even more wealthy than the men.

If I'm to choose a wife to marry,or I'm to choose a career for my woman,in as much as I am involved in the crypto trading,I will definitely introduce it to my woman,so she can also know how to make money, how to invest, how to buy coins and how everything is done in the crypto space. It is very good when women also get themselves involved in it.

well, it's only natural that women are also involved in this, even deep into crypto trading, or something related to crypto. however, men still dominate, as most women are not that interested in trading. they are more interested in being involved in a company and being paid based on it. however, I know several women who are also quite adept at trading crypto, and I think that's a natural thing.

This is probably due to the fact that men are much more likely to provide for the family, and women are busy with household chores. But there are always exceptions, so we can see women in trading, or women programmers, and so on. It will also depend on how successful the trading experience is in the begining, and how interesting it will be, because trading is often quite boring. But this is difficult to surprise, women can be seen in any profession.

Majority of the crypto traders are men and I read some studies regarding it that the reason why there are only few women engaging in crypto trading is because of their essential resemblance. Women are good in some field but they are struggline in crypto trading because they are more emotional than men and trading is not just about charts and price movements because trading is also about emotions. Men are also tent to be more competitive than women and they are more to tend to accept and embrace risk than women. But there are some women that I know that I can considered as successful trader because they can consistently win in any market situations. I can conclude that women tend to experience more difficulty than men in the field of trading because like what I said they are more emotional than men. Don't get me wrong because I respect women and I don't downgrade them, I just stating the fact that it is a field that they will have hard time to master it.

You didn't say anything rash or out of point because trading is more logical than emotional if you agree. It is scientifically proven that men are better logical thinkers as compared to women who on most occasions require a leader to point them in the right direction or should I say give them a purpose.
There are women who trade, although am yet to know any by name or in person, but some criteria close the bracket too sudden for those who are too emotional, not organized or too impatient. They would fail in this aspect woefully.

Op you already know that the answer is yes but the male fork trade more than the female counterpart. There is a female friend of mine that is very good in trading which I also learned some trading skills from her. Out of the 100 bitcoin or Cryptocurrencies users in a community, it might be only one percent might be using cryptocurrency or trading as a female. In any new discovery, male always take domination over the female counterpart. In the trading field, females are there but it is not as many as the male users.

All genders can engage in trading, anyone can be involved in this industry so I would say that this is an open space for whoever they are. Have you ever reviewed any project team under development, I think you will find a line of women there regardless of who dominates. As long as you know what you are investing and trading, then you can earn regardless of gender.

Most persons say "NO"! Where did you come by that,? If I may ask.
Without any statistics to prove, by all means women are allowed to do whatever they want and that includes, trading the crypto market and which ever career they choose for themselves.

Cryptocurrency and the various designs that exists within has got no segregation. Currency has no segregation and as such, its  matter of preference and the know how before one can engage in certain aspects to the field.

Where we might have some form of segregation is in religion else, the men and the women are welcomed to compete favourably in the line of business and investment.  Cryptocurrency is no different.

Silly!
Trading, investment, and/or anything related has no gender or preference simply because money is not sex specific. There will just be things wherein one would be more dominant. If you percieve this industry as dominated by males, it shouldn't be leading to a conclusion that this industry is for that specific sex already; just happened to be dominated. Likewise with profession wherein I believe there should be any sex or gender limitation. Preference is subjective and limitation or exclusivity is another thing.I have female friends who are in this industry are in my case, they are more of risk takers than me. We all have drive and dedication to chase for profit and that should settle this topic.

As much as men are capable of doing it, women too are also trying to engage in crypto trading but maybe most of them did not last longer with trading compared to men. Though it’s only my assumption as there’s no fixed result from surveys that actually tells that men are gaining utmost advantage in trading than women. But knowing how crypto creates equal advantages to all, if there’s really strong determination and confidence for such women, most likely they will also make it big in trading.

Men and women are both to be educated and both can establish their own careers according to their choice. That being said, it is normal for women to engage in crypto trading just like men. This is not even a big deal in a normal country. I saw a lot of women traders here in my country and even mentors there are women as well. Because there is no valid survey, it cannot be confirmed that men dominate crypto trading.

Many modern women are now aware of technology and have made various investments.
Many women are also developing crypto technology and creating innovative projects.
Women and men seem to have their share and equally dominate, but perhaps most prominently men.

It really doesn't matter whether women are involved or not, because crypto won't discriminate against them.
Crypto can be accessed by anyone who wants to do so.
Trading is becoming a new way in modern times to make profits.

Women were not much interested into technology based investment and related trading practice. This is the reason why we weren't able to see much of traders into the cryptocurrency trading. Well, I know a few ladies who are interested in crypto. We all understand why there are mostly few women that are interested in this industry. Firstly, due to high risks in terms of volatility alone, women want to choose safer investment programs if they are given a chance. Second is that, we all know that women also don't love to gamble much, if there are women who wants to gamble there are only few of them.

I have to agree that it is always better to let your partner know what you are doing specially in terms of finance coz mostly husband and wives are always fighting and the main reason is about money. It is also much better to tell them earlier not only for your wife's investment but also for them to be aware where the money goes just in any case.

You are correct that women are currently outperforming men in the cryptocurrency market. I concur. This is so because women tend to be the kind of people who can keep their money or other useful items in storage for a long time. Let's examine a few illustrations of selling goods and services. Today, women are more adept at doing that than men. Additionally, anyone who has the necessary skills can trade cryptocurrencies; it is not just for men.
Although we men may believe that women are less intelligent than us when it comes to cryptocurrencies, I am confident that women are far more intelligent than men if they have a strong understanding of the technology and because they always think twice before acting foolishly.

We don't have any regulations prohibiting women or the elderly from participating in cryptocurrencies, and the market is mostly anonymous, so we won't be able to see who is participating. But it is not surprising that women enter the market because the need to make money is available to everyone.

Cryptocurrencies are not gender-based but I observed that men tend to be more interested in the coins also men are risk-takers than women. However, I know a few ladies that are passionate about these coins and are also good traders. There's a Radio station where I live, where they talk about cryptocurrency and encourage people to join, this program is championed by ladies. Cryptocurrencies are for all genders but the Statistics that Men engage more, cannot be ignored.

Women are more empowered these days, and what men are capable of doing, women can do it too. Just like in cryptocurrency, it’s mostly men that we all know, but remember that not all those who engage in crypto trading prefer to be known as they mostly trade anonymously, and prefer to hide their real gender. So we really can’t assure that those who mostly make it big in trading are purely men, some maybe just hiding their real identity and use masculine names. That’s how women nowadays are slowly conquering the world of their opposite sex.

Women can engaged in cryptocurrency trading but not in large number because of the little knowledge about it. I think man can engage in each discussion about trading because lots of guys are involved in trading but women on the other hand cannot get much knowledge due to lack of interest and high risky situations of market.

Yes women can do trading if she give her money to another person for trading because women are busy in home's activities so she cannot give much time to the trading while trading needs time. Although for trading it does not matter that are you man or women but in my opinion women are engaged in trading but majority doesn't want to put money because of unpredictable nature of this field.

Women does very well when it comes to crypto trading as men do, what matters a lot is the passion to trade, I got one of my female friend whom I thought how to trade, and today she's doing very well trading , she does market analysis and even share some profitable trades to me sometimes when I don't have chance to analyze the market myself. I mean whatever gender you can engage and buy Bitcoin it doesn't really matter, But I guess looking at this diagram there are obviously a lot more men that are into this kind of thing. There are of course some women that are interested and good in trading and investment but there are only a few for sure.

Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin?  (https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/05/why-are-so-few-women-buying-into-bitcoin/)

I guess men are just more on to this kind of thing there is a lot of research that men at more techy, even famous scientists or mathematicians are mostly men. In my opinion, women just like other things than this kind of stuff. Also maybe women just don't like risky investments like Bitcoin they are more like other investments where they have a guaranteed return.

You are right mate, some persons feel it's only men who can go out and search for greener pastures, but this is totally wrong because God has designed everybody equal,he didn't make anyone bigger than the other,it is just good to have the both genders work equally especially when it comes to making money. Moreover, some men prefer their wifes to be house wifes, while some prefer their women to be working class,I like my woman to do thesame thing with me,that is to say,if I am making investments, she should also know how to make investment. Therefore, when she trades and begin to do well, almost every body  will hear about it, simply because it is rare seeing a woman do well in crypto trading. In addition, everybody can engage in crypto trading,no matter your gender or sex.

Women work in cryptocurrency just like us men work in cryptocurrency. We always consider women as inferior to men but nowadays they are not inferior to men in any way. If we think about our family we find in our family women are also associated with this forum. They can do many things in this forum starting from Bounty. Also when I trade on p2p I have traded a lot with girls there too. There are women in few prestigious positions in these forums. Almost contemporary women work on these forums.

Exactly, I think that men dominates cryptocurrency world since they tend take more risks than women. But, studies already shows that there is really a great gap between men and women users of cryptos. However, it also shows that these gaps are already narrowing as more women are really engaged. Especially since when pandemic hits, everyone is at home and always online, these peeks the interest of more women on digital currencies since they have time to study and fully know these potential investments. Although, more women are already into it, it is still a small percentage so it is still a small progress in making the crypto world be diverse in terms of gender.

We dont even know on how many women is really that engaging on trading on which there's no way that we could be able to determine whether they are men or women behind those usernames and
there's no way that we could be able to determine. This is why there's no definite number or known ones when it comes to numbers and this is why we cant really be able to make out conclusion.
In fact, this is a free market on where anyone could really deal up with the market and make up tradings on it.There's no such limitation and requirements on what gender
you would be having as long you do know on how to handle up the market then thats fine.

Rightly said friend.
I think the days where women were considered inferior to men are completely gone, most especially, in the civilized country, though I won't debate it if anybody comes on to say that inferiority complex is still a thing In some parts of the would, simply because I know that there are still really remote villages in most parts of the world today.

But again, concerning crypto and trading, I have traded with several women/girls in the peer to peer market, I've joined a lot of airdrops in the past alongside women., and some times, some of this women are even more knowledgeable than some men in the space.

Lol there are many of them already, trading doesn't have gender classifications. There are many women in here too, but of course most are men.
But i still would be glad to see a statistics of genders participating in trading, either a day trading, market timer, technical trader etc. in any exchange if there is.

I don't feel comfortable when people thinks that women can't engage in certain things that men do, the thing is the world feel that women can't engage in such a thing but is wrong. Is really a choice to be in the crypto world and if care is not taken we could be having more women in the crypto trading than men, lemme say 70% are women and 30% are men, we really need to be notified about that (that women are more in the crypto world, after all we have many women on this Forum who are into trading, mining you name it. I even prefer women should be trading more without men knowing that they're doing with ladies.

Is trading only limited to the male population?  It definitely is not.  At least, not in Europe and USA.  So, you now have the answer.  Women are definitely doing trading too.  There are definitely women out there doing Bitcoin trading as well.

I agree with your opinion, because I also think that there must be a lot of women investing in BTC, but it's as if it's just like men who are involved in investing in Bitcoin and Crypto.
when in fact there are also many women who invest in btc, and I think for sure women will like investing in bitcoin and crypto because investing in bitcoin does not require a lot of physical exertion.

I observe a strange phenomenon: there are a lot of women in the economy, when I studied at the university, about ninety percent of the students were women. If yoy go to banks and often women are standing behind the counters of bank offices. But at the same time, among all my acquaintances, even the most distant ones, I do not have a single woman in cryptocurrencies. They are absolutely incompetent in the topics of cryptocurrencies. And if you turn on channels about cryptocurrencies on YouTube, where ea previews a female face, then the woman there will just be READING the TEXT without understanding. They are used like this only to attract attention. This is strange in my opinion.

Currently women are involved in any business including crypto trading, so this is nothing new because the women we see today are on average career women who want to make money without fully relying on their parents or husbands because of personal income. it's better to be enjoyed without having to report to their husbands or parents, and career women are now almost on the same level as men because they are more careful in running their business including investing in the crypto world, so my answer is YES.

The thing is, people don't acknowledge the fact that women do trade. I don't know if people see it as a man's thing to trade and women ain't suppose to be involved. Like you said your female friend who knows more about crypto, some women has more knowledge in terms of crypto trading than men and they (women) are even doing better than men in Bitcoin trading. Women are good that's just the thing.

It's not that people doesn't want to acknowledge it, it's just that we actually do not really care if it is a man or a woman behind every trades or movement as there are no boundaries in crypto space and everyone is free to do their own thing as long as they are using the space and platform legally. Aside from that, I don't think that we still have the time to even think about the possible gender and sometimes, women can do a lot better than what men can do, sometimes.
