Scammers always intend to make the interface of their scam site somewhat similar to the official domain of the project, so if the person is hasty and someone sends him the fake domain for the Syscoin project, then this person will inevitably not notice the difference until it is too late, so be careful in making decisions and not rushing and not connecting the main wallet in something that it deems suspicious and these tips will be most useful.

The fake site is not accessible anymore, the domain or the host might have taken it down or the developers have taken it down because they are already reported and exposed, hopefully, they have not scammed people but I doubt it.
They will continue to create a platform like this because of people's greediness and lack of knowledge on how these scammers work as long as we have these kinds of people who failed to do research, scammers will create plans and scheme to scam people, scammers thrive on newbies greediness.

If you connected your Metamask your entire fund will be taken by the hacker. These scammers are using advance bots for this purpose which automatically make a popup to your Metamask and automatic trace fund in your wallet. The amount of fee will be same to your fund balance and if you approve, Nothing can be done after that. Always be careful and read full especially amount of fee before approving Metamask funds.

True, at least the action was swift and it has been take down already but the registrar or the domain hosting.

We know that this kind of pattern from cyber criminals are going to continue because there are still a lot of gullible individuals here, mostly newbies who can fall from this trick and so it will be a very expensive lessons for them. So that best thing to do is to really exposed this in this community and let everyone know about it. Who knows we can save a lot of newbies from losing their hard earn money.

I tried as well but the site has been taken down thanks to OP for exposing them for their nefarious act. Only God knows how many have already fall victim of that fake website phishing and secondly the Swift response to reporting the site from members here was wonderful as it was done with utmost effect to further stall people's wallet from being hacked and funds stolen.

@Baofeng you did a good job by making available the report form so members could see it and making report immediately when ever any fake phishing website is spotted. How I wish it is possible to make a pinned post of that Google for to report fake phishing website. That would be nice as members could see and report immediately any of such noticed and verified fake phishing website.

Not going to be the last attempt from this scammers though.

We might see another site popping up targeting Syscoin, maybe it was the hype that's why they are also riding on the popularity of this projecdt.

Yes, it is necessary to continue reporting these suspicious sites even if they are removed or blocked because it is very easy for them to create a new one with a similar domain.

It is noticed that they always use the same method in choosing famous names, which unfortunately causes some hasty people who do not search well to fall victim to these scams.

But Phishing site like this is created everyday by some scammer. My email, telegram, and Discord are full of some phishing sites just be careful guys and always double check. Stay safe

This Phishing site is banned and detective by many extension very quickly. I don't know it is because of many reports or any other reason but many phishing site is active for many months and not detective by Metamask yet. The most famous are Stargate, arbitrum, Zksync related phising sites.

Yes creating these sites are quite easy and social Platform is source of advertising. These scammers often use autobot which send Thousand message to Telegram, discord, twitter inbox and email.
