After closing the Coinslotty Signature Design Competition (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5448793.msg62088910) at the start of this week, I'm now happy to introduce to you guys our second one. This time we are searching for a creative designer who can help us stand out with our Coinslotty ANN thread, with new colors, new USP's and an improved look.

Now let's go in to the details of the competition:

APPLICATION PROCESS:
•   Similar to my last competition, simply reply in this thread and introduce yourself, your design service, portfolio and BTC Wallet. Priority will be given to users who have experience designing ANN threads and can showcase some great examples. As last time, I will have some room for newbies as well.
•   There are no member rank requirements, if you’re skilled you’ll get accepted, your posting habits are not important.
•   Applications are open from today, the 21th of April, and I will close them next week, on Tuesday the 25th of April.  

HOW DOES THE COMPETITION WORK:
•   Latest on Wednesday, the 26th of April, I will pick out up to 5 applications that stood out the most. Each of the applicants will get $125 to their wallet, together with a design package that will contain the latest design assets for Coinslotty, together with the USP’s and the text blocks that we would like to see there. We will then chat a bit about my expectations and I'll give out a few examples that I saw on the forum and liked. You’ll get to keep the $125 regardless if you win or not.
•   After the applicants deliver their take on the ANN thread design, latest on the 2nd of May, an internal vote will be carried out, and the winner of the competition will get an additional $75 to their account.

After that, starting from May, your work will be displayed on the forum, on top of that, your profile and marketplace thread will be promoted in all our forum threads, as well as our upcoming Community page directly on our site.

I believe, what Royse777 said will give you a good results that will make you feel comfortable with what you want because, all those guys are professional in their work which I have witnessed some of their design in the Royse777 signature campaign and bounty campaign.

Hey Royse! I didn't really understand your message, are you applying for the competition or promoting your campaign management services? If it's the later, then I have to decline your application. Although I'm not an ANN designer per se, I have some experience editing BBcode and I worked for an agency using InDesign in the past, so I think that I could deliver a reasonably good layout. Tbh, my ANN design skills are a bit rusty, I think the last one I did was in 2021!

Hi! It's me again.  As I have not much customers in here, I do not have much of a portfolio to show.  I did have some private designs which I can send you a link of. They are mostly alt coins and bounty threads.

I do know how to design websites/landing pages and I have seen many threads here that has similar designs to how a landing page is designed.

One reason as to why I want to take part in this contest is I want to be challenged and see if I can come up with something beautiful for Coinslotty. I have to admit that designing something completely from a scratch would be hard since you guys rebranded so it's a big responsibility to come up with something that will be perfect for the new branding.

It'll also be fun to design this ANN since recently I've been into exploring gambling websites ( I only play free bets  ;D ) and I have seen many different casino UIs out there.

You will mostly be working with pre-existing elements designed by our team or imagery from our past projects, with some wiggle-room to show off your own design skills, so there will be more than enough material to work with, it will not be "from scratch" :)

After reading your comment I would also like to try my luck and designing skills. Kindly, allow me to be part of the project, I will give my best to it.

Morning everyone,

thanks for all the applications, in the end I picked out three designers.

Jayce and Rat03gopoh will be going against each other once again. Jayce has a strong portfolio, Rat03gopoh won the last competition, so I’m curious to see how they’ll approach the task this time since we’re mostly working with established assets.

Joining them will be Baoo, I found some of his examples quite interesting and would love to see what he’ll come up with.  

The applications are now closed. After sending out all the assets and agreeing on the way forward the members will have 7 days to deliver their version of the ANN design.

I’m currently finalizing the brand USP’s and packing up all the assets we have, expect more info via messages.

Although you don't care others opinion but to me Rat03gopoh and Jayce are two winners. If to pick one then I am out  ;D

It's not that I don't care, it's because I didn't plan it and we're on a tight schedule :D But I can tell you 100% that the designers care what you think of their work, so if anyone has an opinion feel free to leave it :)

I'm not sure what the new signature will look like and whether the existing ones will change, but somehow I would expect it to have a dominant green colour (same as all ANN designs, logo), not blue/black like now at least this is what I saw on your profile, LoyceV and dkbit98.


This looks great to me, I like the concept, it's something different from what we usually see here. I think that the various bonuses and benefits that you offer to your users are not highlighted enough. And there are plenty of them, and they should be used in promotion.


I see this design more as a landing page and emphatically informative.


As always, Jayce did not disappoint. Very simple but complete design. He emphasized your "bonuses & promotions" and "VIP program" offer really well, I wrote about it above.
It seems to me that the cover (the part at the top, with the logo) is a little bigger than it should be. It will require tedious scrolling. Maybe I would move the provider logos below, I am of the opinion that this segment is not the most important.

If you want to have more opinions, my choice would be Rat03gopoh's design.  ;)

Thank you all for the comments, I didn't manage to get Loyce's and Dkbit98's opinion in, but the majority of the current sig holders voted for Jayce's ANN design.

Because of that, I would like to announce Jayce as the winner of our second design competition :)

I would just like to point out that Jayce managed this competition very professionally, communication was on point, he replied in a timely manner, provided sketches beforehand and went out of his way with the HTML version of some elements. Because of that we will also move on to some other projects with him.

I just now released the remaining bonus of $75 to his account.

First of all, thank you SirJohn and Coinslotty for these awesome contests. Imo this is the first time I see a contest that not only offered generous prizes, but also valued the time participants had spent by giving "bonuses" to selected users before start the work. In a contest, we are fully aware on the risk of getting nothing after spent hours even days, but Coinslotty went differently with this new concept of contest. With this kind of behaviour, I'm sure Coinslotty will be a bigger and more popular casino sooner or later.

My late vote was also for jayce, but I think that rest of the guys also did a great job.
I like ANN designs that have separate click links for website, original ANN topic, social media and other links, so I hope jayce will add that on the bottom.

New signature is looking amazing, just make sure that it works good on all devices.
There are few guys who are checking the code and making small changes, so that signature looks good both on mobile and computer devices.
