Title: Having Difficulties Withdrawing Funds From Crypto Website.
Post by: CupCakeHugs007 on July 13, 2023, 06:49:53 AM
I put money into a crypto website and now I'm trying to withdraw some funds.
After 10 days of submitting the withdrawal request, I get the message that they are having difficulties with their department. However, the withdrawal will be complete in 10 more days.
The 10 days have passed and no withdrawal. I contact their support and they sent me this email:

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to apologize for the
inconvenience you have experienced with regard to withdrawing funds
from your account. We have made several attempts to process the
withdrawal, but unfortunately, it keeps bouncing back.

To ensure a successful transaction, I kindly request you provide us
with an alternative bank account for the withdrawal. Once we receive the
updated details, we will promptly proceed with the transfer of funds.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Please
let me know if you require any further assistance.

Best regards,
WEBULL TRADING BOTS

Is this normal?
Now I'm going to have to create a new bank account at a different bank.

What is the URL of the site?

This would likely be a scam, but we can not make that conclusion until we know the site that you are referring to.

With just the details you drop here "WEBULL TRADING BOTS" one can't confirm what exactly is wrong, as I have run a quick research online and I can find lot of matching with the name, so it will be nice if you can drop the exact link to the trading bot which you are using.

Sometimes it might be normal for your withdrawal to he suspended, is either your bank details which you made available in time of your withdrawal don't associate them self with online trading platform and might makes it difficult for the platform to interact with the bank which might be the reason why they request you create another account with a different bank, or it might also likely be an excuse to withhold your withdrawal for reasons known to them either to scam you or something else.

How about and instead of making a new bank account, you just convert your funds back to crypto and try to withdraw that to see if thar works?

As mentioned above, it's difficult to say without knowing the name/URL of the platform but looking at the email... Unless you're referring to webull.com it's probably a scam and someone is trying to impersonate them.

Op is talking about Webull trading bots. Here is the URL https://webulltradingbots.com/ (https://webulltradingbots.com/). It seems this is a Ponzi scheme website that is copied https://www.webull.com/ (https://www.webull.com/) theme and design. I never heard of those websites. I don't know anything about those websites. It seems https://webulltradingbots.com/ (https://webulltradingbots.com/) is trying to pretend to be Webull.com. I don't know if any of them are legit. Both might be scams, or maybe they are legit.

How do you guys still fall for investment schemes online? Always do your own research before you invest a penny online.

Edit: OP Is talking about
Code:
[url]Webulltradingbot.com[/url]

I'm new on this site and I didn't know if that would be allowed or not. webulltradingbot.com.  That's the trading bot.

It was confirmed that this is a scam website. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457549.0)

Exactly what I was thinking: if the trading bot has a crypto withdrawal option, then that will be the best way to withdraw the fund, and there will be no excuse for why the transaction was declined since no form of interaction is needed or any form of bank restrictions. Just from crypto to crypto wallet.

Not all online trading platforms are to be trusted.

Cryptocurrency execution and custody services are provided by Apex Crypto LLC (NMLS ID 1828849) through a software licensing agreement between Apex Crypto LLC and Webull Pay LLC. Cryptocurrency trading is offered through an account with Apex Crypto. Apex Crypto is not a registered broker-dealer or FINRA member and your cryptocurrency holdings are not FDIC or SIPC insured. Please ensure that you fully understand the risks involved before trading.

According to them in their official website (https://www.webull.com/cryptocurrency) WEE BULL trading bot is under Apex crypto LLC.

Is this normal?
Now I'm going to have to create a new bank account at a different bank.
This is not normal compared to how other reputable trading platforms do their operations, it may likely be a scam website.

Are we even sure that's the website OP is talking about? I am asking because the first result I got when I googled "WEBULL TRADING BOTS" is Webull Trading Bots (https://webulltradingbots.com/), which is a completely different website from the one you shared.

Then again, this one doesn't look any more legit than the one you shared, with fake rewevies and promise of profit.

I don't know about how the WEBULL TRADING BOTS might be operating but some scam site now are days are built in such a way that they convince newbies that they are legit, since telling people to give them their money to multiply look all scam, what most do now is allow you to create account with them and show you how to trade your self as if it's in a normal trading platform where you start small and you are allowed to withdraw those small funds, but ones they gain your trust that's where their scamming scheme comes in. I don't blame victims much this days I just advice them to be more careful in other to avoid their mistakes repeating it's self next time.

The link you provided is the original link the OP is referring to, because going through the OP post history, he once created a thread Using crypto Trading bot (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457802.msg62471319#msg62471319), I think the OP was referred to the trading bot by some YouTube influencers which so many forum users advised him to make some research and gain some knowledge before going into it, but maybe the OP jumped into it without deep research and this scam is about to happen to the OP.

the OP’s reply when asked about the link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457802.msg62471600#msg62471600)

AFAIK, this (webull.com) is a reputable company known for stocks trading. As for Apex crypto, then apparently it was acquired by Bakkt[1]

The second link however (webulltradingbots) is obviously a ripoff attempt of the original site so if that's what OP is using (looks like it) then sadly, I doubt there's much he can do.

I am sorry for your loss, but any investment site that postpones withdrawal requests is scam and therefore do not attempt to deposit except in a site that you trust after you have researched and made sure that it is an official site and after the necessary license.

I tried to access the site, but the browser does not allow me to access it, so I try to track the deposit address. These scammers are mostly lazy, and we may be able to find out more.

Sadly you may have to move on or possibly try withdrawing through other means, either by way of converting the fund back to crypto and making the withdrawal or submitting another bank account and another thing I want to know is whether you used the trading bots you once talked about is what you used to make the trades because I can see a bot included in the domain name you shared.

But from the comment made by some forum members, it looks as if this site lacks the reputation to be trusted with your funds.

Now I'm going to have to create a new bank account at a different bank.

OP, over two weeks ago, multiple members told you that it was a scam site and advised against depositing any funds there. However, you insisted on your claims, citing YouTube videos about trading bots and the potential for making significant profits. At one point, you even argued that the site couldn't be a scam because you were able to withdraw $10,000 back to your bank account (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457802.msg62471395#msg62471395). And now you're saying that you're facing difficulties in withdrawing your funds? So, I have to ask, what is the issue here? Why can't you realize that you've fallen victim to a classic scam and won't receive any money from them? Why do you continue to create new threads about the same issue when multiple members made it clear to you that it is a scam site? What are you trying to achieve here?

It appears that the website you mentioned is requesting further deposits from you. It has been ten days, and there have been no updates to your account. Do you really believe they will transfer your funds to another account? It is likely that they will encounter the same issue and repeat the process. I am highly suspicious of this website and suspect it may be a scam. Since I cannot access the site myself, I am unaware of its terms and conditions or its purpose. However, based on the information provided, I assume it could be a Ponzi scheme, and you may have been deceived by them.

OP has been advised by several members in the other threads he opened asking about the scam website, but I don't if he has even read the replies or is still in a stage of denial given that the amount he deposited is enormous

In this thread, a number of members gave him some reasonable answers - Using Crypto Trading Bot (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457802)

Looking at his posting style, he is probably the same person who posted here and got more than enough views of members, but I think he felt they were lying - Am I Being Scammed By A Prominent YouTuber? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457549.0)

Seems like it will ring a bell. Looks suspicious to me, it's either s/he is promoting those sites indirectly by creating such or s/he is just an idiot who can't read and get what are the signs of scam attempt and obvious scam offers.

OP, it seems that this is exactly the situation you'll end up in right from the start. First off, it seems you were already hooked on those fake promises by scam crypto YouTubers. You've already fallen to their sweet words that even if they promised you an unbelievable 5% weekly return of your investment you still find them making a lot of sense. You seem too eager to make money out of Bitcoin that you disregarded certain obvious red flags.

There are two explanations, one of which is greed, or that the user was trying to get more profits through referral links or promoting the site. In any case, I know many friends who stop thinking once they hear that there are free profits that will be distributed without effort, or that there are A site that makes you deposit an amount of money and get a fixed interest daily with the possibility of withdrawing the amount.

When a person watches Youtube cryptocurrency about trading bots, they make it sound like it's true. I didn't know a person could hijack a Youtuber.

I hope that it will be a lesson for him and that he will not be one of the site's promotion team who have been scammed.

I put money into a crypto website and now I'm trying to withdraw some funds.

This is not any crypto website, but ordinary fraudsters. There are no common elements with crypto here, except that it was mentioned a couple of times to give additional seriousness to the story and the "potential" of great earnings.

OP, you shouldn't so lightly invest money in something you don't understand, and it's obvious that you don't know much about "crypto websites". I know a man who knows a man who earned $xx million, not a good enough reference for investing. Or at least it shouldn't be.

or s/he is just an idiot

Yeah those are indeed owned by the same idiot who wants to get rich overnight. Looking at another experience[1], I concluded that his awareness was indeed poor. It's easy to fall for unreasonable profit offers and because of his high self-confidence he doesn't realize that he is being scammed. I think he is still seeking wealth in these circles:
  • trade profits like a pro
  • high deposit interest

So, don't be surprised if he runs into another scam in the future.
