Altcoins include ethereum,polygon etc. Already heard of dying of altcoins. Many peoples invest in different platforms. Some people hold ethereum polygon bnb etc. But their prices don't rise much.  Are they better to hold and invest than Bitcoin? In my opinion Bitcoin is the best to hold. We have all seen the volatile Bitcoin market in the past few months. It is rumored that the price may rise further in 2024. Bitcoin never disappoints. I know some big brothers who invest or hold bitcoins never heard from them that investing in bitcoins is not good. Investing in bitcoins is better than spending money on a lover but it sounds ridiculous but it is true. So I say investing in bitcoins is better than investing in other fields. Bitcoin is the best.

Investing in bitcoin is the best because of many reasons. Bitcoin is not centralized like other coins and you will see high profit if you invest in it. Investing in altcoins too will give high yield and I will not advice you to invest all in bitcoin. Do not leave your coins in one basket. You can invest 70% of you money in bitcoin, while the remaining 30% on altcoins which are riskier to invest in than bitcoin.

If you think that you want to invest on a single coin, bitcoin would be the best to go for. Know also that you may invest in altcoins and sometimes the altcoins can disappoint you.

Answer to your query is in the trading volume and market capital of BTC and ALTs. Few days back the market capital of whole crypto industry was covered by BTC like 51% or 52% market capital was covered by BTC only. Does this not emphasize the importance of BTC over ALTs. This also distinguished the interest of people in BTC over ALTs. And if we talk about the profit ratio that both BTC and ALTs could make you then this factors is not comparable because the factor that caused you huge profits doesn't relies in the coin or token you are investing it depends on your knowledge and strategies you used.

For example, the whole market is lead by BTC so you could make 1000$ in BTC as profit and in ALTs too but it depends on the knowledge and experience or obviously the luck you have. other wise these two entities are just different from many other factors but profit is not the one.

Yes, bro, I get what you mean. The strength of Bitcoin cannot be denied. When it comes to crypto, it is far and away the best option. Ethereum, Polygon, BNB, and others are clearly pursuing their own strategies, but they lag far behind Bitcoin's. Why wouldn't they? Bitcoin is well-known, has proven itself, and carries weight.

Bitcoin is supreme over other altcoins due to bitcoin halving which is a significant event on bitcoin price. The other altcoins depends on bitcoin for their prices and they are the duplicate of bitcoin. If you think that you don't have to invest all your funds on bitcoin, I will advise you to diversify only 20% to other altcoins,but this advice is not for newbies because altcoins are more risky and their price can pump very high and go down immediately. I don't like to invest in any other coin but bit coin because it is easy to make profit from it,when you invest in long term. Altcoins are different and one can only benefit from them by investing in short term. Bitcoin is the king of all crptocurrency.

Bitcoin has always been volatile, it's just a matter of intensity that sometimes we don't notice it especially if you're not watching the market closely like most people in the crypto space. Well, 2024 is the next halving and most of the time, during halvings, bitcoin skyrockets in prices, reaching new ATH and then slowing down so the rumor is most likely true that the price might rise further.
You've probably never heard them say that it's a bad thing about investing in bitcoin because they trusted bitcoin or that they haven't experienced any major losses in their investment or they just know better. Spending on your lover or romantic partner is an entirely different league, you don't invest everything because you can still lose even if you haven't heard anyone saying bad stuff about bitcoin, also if you don't invest in your partner/lover, there's a possibility you're letting go of the right person for you. Moral of the story: don't be a rabid fan of bitcoin, there are more important stuff out there besides making money.

It is their decision whether in bitcoin or altcoin because they have personal principles for the investments they make, I myself bitcoin is the best while altcoins often experience much deeper disappointments but I will not oppose anyone who invests in altcoins because in that coin there is also a fairly high return if it is time.

It depends on the "field" and what you want out of an investment. If it is maximum profit, bitcoin is not the best since there are a lot of other ways to make a ton of profit on your money even though bitcoin's long term profit has been fantastic.

Those altcoins you mentioned have already shown considerable gains in price along the years in crypto market, and that is the reason why they are the top altcoins many investors go for when building their portfolios. There are potential chances those altcoins will do well on an eventual next bull run. The point is that if you don't have sure on what crypto to invest you should go for BTC, because it's the safest bet in crypto market and the cryptocurrency which always push the next tendency of the market.

The base of your comparison is faulty. Bitcoin is inanimate while a lover is flesh and blood. As humans, we need the company and touch of others. All work and no play make a credible Satoshi dull. Life without humans will be boring no matter how wealthy one is.

No wasting money on your lover or spending it is totally categorized on the factor of Love which we have. But, if you do think that money spent on lover is a waste then i think of two possibilities. One is you are single, two is you have a great experience about spending money on lover is a waste.

In both cases, my opinions is yes you are right, spending money on lover is not good while spending or i must say investing it in BTC is way better than that. And i agree with your point that BTC is better than ALTs, because BTC is the first, most aged, trusted, decentralized coin which has the highest trading volume and dominance in crypto sphere.

Bitcoin is good for investment because of the long record it has and it's reliability. There are other cryptocurrency options that are not reliable even though they look to be performing well because they do not have long record.

It has been said multiple times here to avoid altcoins, no matter how reputable a altcoin is, it’s can’t be trusted, but I have seen some people that invest in altcoins in my locality and the reason they gave me for investing in altcoin is that they believe that bitcoins price is already high and if they invest in bitcoin they won’t be making enough profit later in future, so they prefer to invest in coins with low values. But they are wrong, I can say that bitcoin price is still very low and anyone that can invest won’t be disappointed in future, the risk you are taking for investing in altcoin is really high, you are looking for high profits, but you can easily lose your money in altcoin, so it’s better you invest in bitcoin that you know your investment is secure, you won’t be worried that anything can happen to your coin at any moment.

In terms of holding, I agree that Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency to hold because it has the highest liquidity, the highest volume and the highest adoption among the cryptocurrency.  If we hold Bitcoin we don't have to worry about selling it anytime since the market has lots of demand for it even though it has high volatile market.

Aside from that, Bitcoin also tend to break its all time high every 4 year cycle, we can see how the price of Bitcoin exponentially every 4 years.  This means that if we hodl long nough, we can possibly gain big profit especially when we timed it on the ATH record breaking event.

Everyone is free to save or invest anywhere whether it is an altcoin or even shitcoin it all comes back to their individual choices but when it comes to whether it is better than bitcoin the answer is clearly no.
Many actual excuses are always spoken especially perhaps the greater returns that are always heralded when talking about altcoins but in the end when talking about bitcoin investment is the most possible place and much better compared to altcoins.
When talking about price increases the expectation is clear that this time may be a turning point for bitcoin but again we can only hope about it while waiting for the halving to arrive.

I won't agree with you on the point that investing in Bitcoin is better than spending money on a lover does this mean your proposed partner or side chick either way, spending for such an individual is also an investment that may be beneficial to both parties. I invest in both Ethereum and Bitcoin and you can't compare the two because Bitcoin yields more profit in a limited time

Personally, I will also choose Bitcoin over any other ALTS every time. But I won't discourage those who can make profits investing in altcoins. It should be a personal preference. Let people do what they are doing.

What I think altcoins are is a way to make quick money from the hype and move on to something new. Altcoins are not that useful the way they say they are. They can not live up to their promises. People invest in them so that they can use the hype to sell at high. I don't see any other uses of alts. It is not something that you can hodl for a long time as Bitcoin. And why is that? it is because they are centralized. This makes hodling more difficult because you never know what they will do to it. Could be a part of a scam. Which is never an issue with Bitcoin. It is decentralized and it will stay like this.

So I have to agree with you. Bitcoin was, is, and will be the best. But if you can make money out of any other altcoins, then why lose that opportunity right?
