Each Guardian sent out comes with an entirely distinct Avatar, a one-of-one, carefully crafted using advanced deep-learning AI technology. While you have the freedom to choose your desired element, the actual character you get will be a delightful surprise.

I encourage you all to share your Guardians here, and I'm certain others would love to see them too.

In terms of funding or 'loading' your Guardians, feel free to share tips and methods in this thread. However, please note that generating keys safely is a topic of varied opinions, and I'd prefer to avoid getting involved in that discussion. Nevertheless, if you plan on using a site like bitaddress.org, ensure you're on the correct site and not a copycat scam site. Additionally, it’s a good idea to take your computer offline (air gap), especially when dealing with significant amounts.

The winner will be selected through a random drawing, and there is a tentative plan to utilize the blockchain for transparency. The block number(s) and submission end date/time will be announced by the end of this week. Numbers/Characters will be randomly assigned. Depending on the level of participation, there may be multiple drawings to narrow down the participants to a select few before the final drawing takes place.

I was thinking last night and decided that I'm going to raffle off a Sapphire Builder and anyone who shares a photo of their Guardian will be entered. Multiple Guardians = multiple 'tickets'.

oh wow, i love that last one!  almost pulled the trigger on one today... but I really like and dislike some... lol that's what makes it so hard... well that and cheap sats!  what was the mintage on those again? couldn't find anything on the site.

I'm extremely stoked to be able to pick up my set in person from Max this Thursday.  After seeing everyone else's pictures, I'm getting more and more excited to see what guardians I get.  These are really cool and fun pieces.  Great job Max!

I just picked up my Guardian set from Max today and I couldn't be happier.  I had a lot of fun when I got home and showed these to my 12 and 14 year old boys.  One of them dug the cool AI art (he wanted to name them).  The other was more interested in the obverse side design and the Bitcoin wallet component.  Something for everyone here I guess.

The tentative plan is to draw a winner for this raffle on Monday, August 21st... there are a few people awaiting their international shipments and although I shipped express, the packages still have to work their way through customs.

Question for anyone reading this:

Right now there are 21 entries.

A typical raffle draw I know has 16 'slots' based on the last character of the hash of a chosen block (0-9, a-f)

Let's say there are 30 entries total - would it be best to do two drawings based on two groups and two blocks, (with a potential re-draw if one of the two empty slots is selected) and then a third drawing to determine the winner between the winners of the first two drawings? With each person in the third drawing getting 9 slots each?

Or is there an easier way to go about this? I'm open to suggestions!

What about 01 - 30 ?

I mean I have seen raffles before being run from 01 to 21 or to 50. Krogoth runs his raffles
up to 99 and rolls the blockchain without filling all the tickets. Whatever way will work,
the blockchain will ultimately decide.

BTW - love all the Guardians!

can forego the letters and just assign numbers - as many as there are entries - then ignore the numbers that are empty and go with consecutive blocks until you have a winner.

@Kialara that's exactly how i would do it.
let's assume that there are 30 entries in total - they then have the choice to select a hash number between 00-99. once all 30 users have selected their number you start the raffle with a certain block until the winner(s) are determined.

Wow, that's some fantastic effort to collect all the different designs from Kialara. Great work, Hox! Should check the coin wiki more often.
I have given up on the graphics idea because the provided photos are so different in angle and size/quality, it's a lot of effort for a not very congruent result. I think the page you created is already enough anyways.

aoluain, Mopar & cygan thank you for chiming in, I will plan on doing it this way. Monday August 21st @ 12pm Pacific Time will be the deadline for entires, and the drawing will take place Tuesday August 21st. Numbers will be randomly assigned and I will plan on sharing the block Tuesday afternoon.

To be fair to a few others, including Honeybadger2014, entries will be given to those whose packages are stuck in customs. One customer in particular has had his package/suite stuck in customs for over a month now. These customers have agreed to share photos once they are received. I believe this is fair and that everyone can get on board with this.

I will be using AI to randomly assign numbers for each entry, and will also use AI to help determine the chosen block tomorrow. This seems fitting!

Will be back this evening to sort everything out.

Howdy all.  I understand there is no set mintage max yet for the Guardians.  But do the Guardians come with edition numbers like Kialara's other pieces?

No. I think Max (Kialara) left this one open ended. No serials, no series.

has anyone gotten new ones? havent seen any new ones posted recently.

as Max informed us all in his newsletter today, the guardians edition will be limited after all. there will be a total of 1000 pieces (250 of each element) :)
the whole thing is getting more interesting again and the guardians are getting a new (collector's) value in my eyes. @Kialara nice that you have made this decision

Wow that is a big deal! These are very choice. I have seen a few sets from various collectors on the forum but I have yet to see any Kialara in person. I wonder if they will be at the Bitcoin conference next year in Nashville Tennessee? I'll have to check K's website and see, I remember thinking that these were a bit out of my price range at the time but I've recently come into some play money ;P

That Kialara x cryptograffiti project looks neat! I see that the Suites are sold out now but random eye singles are being sold - when I first looked you could only buy a suite (as per description there's 33 suites available for 99 total pieces), what happened here to make them available as singles?

They announced that a few Suites might be broken up, so it doesn't inflate the 99 pieces. Too bad I missed the singles :(.

I think there were 9 singles, so 3 sets broken up, 30 sets intact.

Not so sure about this. They both have strong whale followings who never sell anything.. only 33 suites or so, few singles ..dont think we see too many anytime soon. Be diff story perhaps if TMAN was still around trying to corner the market anyway possible, to have the “biggest Kialara cock” as he would put it.


Shoulda seen Kialara’s on eBay when Kim Kardashian posted one on her instagram,  speaking of selling out fast.  Glad I had a double to sell that day.

But yeah was about as guaranteed a sell out as it gets. Both incredible artists in their own ways and real good dudes to boot, they deserve it.

If anyone has a single they’re willing to trade, I got some cool stuff to offer up (BTCC chips, Satoris, CI coins, KillYou1 or KillYou2 Pirate glow in the dark coin..the beloved kinda stuff).

I hope not. I tend to see any and all the high value items up for sale in various locations rather quickly after being sold out.  There always seems to be a few out there who buy to chase the $

either way if it was out of my range at the start, it will still be out of my range once they do go up for sale. lol congrats to those who got one.
