Hi!  I'm Johnmatthew and I am new here, when I was scrolling in Youtube I found A youtube channel Bitcointalk show which he discuss about this forum and out of curiosity then I search this forum in my browser and then created an account so here Am I.

My first question is how this forum works? What are the don'ts and does here in forum, also I want to became an Investor what should I do?
I want to learn more about bitcoin like how to get it.

There are many rules to abide here on Bitcointalk, but the first thing you have to put in mind is that if you only ran here and registered because may be you heard on YouTube that there was  a way to make money on Bitcointalk, then you should really reconsider. This website is for only those people who really love Bitcoin and what to know more about it. It's not a money making web just like some YouTube channels would put it.

You can mine it, exchange it, or receive it as gift or a currency being paid with your reward for offering a service instead of being paid in fiat, wgich is by earning bitcoin.

You can use an exchange to get bitcoin using fiat and then create a personal wallet to store your bitcoin and keep the keys safe

I think you should try to watch those videos again because if you do come to know about this platform from YT then you must find visual guides from there too. Well, even though I welcome you on this platform this platform (BTT--> Bitcointalk) is a text and Picture based platform or you can say a forum where we have discussions about crypto and BTC. It consists of many boards, topics, and threads. You might find some threads unique, and interesting but might not find some so, it depends on your taste. But most of people love Economics, and Btc Discussions other than that other boards like this one you chose to make this topic is also a good one to learn new things about everything related to crypto.

And if you have any concerns about this forum then the META board is for such discussions. I hope you will grow here legally because the only way to get a reputation and trust over here is by providing useful content plus AI and plagiarism-free content if you will not follow some strict rules then you will be banned from here. What you must do is not to rush. Understand first that it takes time for one to understand the basics of Bitcoin. Like how volatile it is and what do you need to have in able to start holding it.

Actually, it's not that complicated at all for you to start owning Bitcoin and first you need to buy it when you already understand that it's a volatile asset.

And by mean with that, is that the price changes from time to time and it's a very unpredictable asset to have. But, we're all agreeing that someday in the future that the value of it is only one direction and it's going to be way higher.

Since you are already in this forum better search for information you need and don't expect that there are user will guide you until you learn. Spoon feeding is not appropriate action to do by newbies so if you want to learn help your self and be resourceful. Links are already provided and now its up for you and how you made an effort to learn, but don't worry if you have zero knowledge on everything thing since once you ask by creating a thread for sure there are lots of people will answer any valid question you ask.

There are so may places he can go in this forum that can direct him in what to do,better stil he should go and look for the forum rules and guildlines,atleast that one will enable him know the things he is supposed to do and the things he is not to do.We just need to carry everyone along,try to make them know what they've not known before.

Bitcoin don't just gives money bro, you must invest and trad very well before it's start giving you money. and there are laws and regulations that guide all the forum members which you need to know and understand very well to avoid penaltys. I have a friend, who also hard about Bitcoin for the first time. because he was desperate to make money, he went and sold his propertys and invested all in Bitcoin, because he didn't know about thing about Bitcoin, he invested and loss everything. but he did not give up, he went back and lean and master it, but today his doing very well in Bitcoin. my suggestion to you is, before you invest here make sure you have learn and master everything about Bitcoin. Yes you are right and got it mate.  In short Plagiarism is not allowed in this forum cause that is a big mistake copying other works and paste it here and claim that is yours then once you caught by the mods for sure German banned is weaving . Even in real life copying others work and then claim it ours is so discussion and a shame. I see that many people have responded to your questions, and I think that everything they have said, if you understand it and apply it, is all you need to know. I only have one or two things to add to what my forum members have said, so keep those and add them to what they have already said. It's not much, but I'll start by asking: Did you join the forum with a good mind? Did you join the forum because you want to succeed in the future and want to become successful like the people you hear about? I would like you to keep in mind that cryptocurrency is a decentralised money that includes various coins like bitcoin and some altcoins, contrary to what you may believe.

Once more,joining the forum does not ensure that you will make money or become wealthy over time; rather, I'm trying to emphasise that you should always keep in mind that there is risk involved when investing, as well as potential rewards. The most crucial coin I would like you to consider investing in is bitcoin. Almost like how I got here too. I stumbled on a site during my curious search for what Bitcoin was and that directed me here. It was months later I got to know that site was CMC (Coinmarketcap.com). You're most welcome here and I do know you will find here very interesting if you sustain this same curiosity and put in the work.

Basically, this forum is like a town hall meeting that has its major focus on discussions centered around Bitcoin. There are rules and regulations that govern this "town hall" which must not be broken, otherwise there are consequences. I advise you read them as I can see some users before me have posted links.

I think more or less exactly the same as real life. Maybe the difference is that we can't meet here like in lecture halls, courts, restaurants, shopping places.
We will be punished if we violate the predetermined prohibitions. What kind of prohibition, one of which is plagiarism.

I feel the same way while on this forum. What we have felt so far has also been felt by other active members who want to take part in the discussions of the great posters in the forum.

Our presence Don't be a burden to others. I agree with this one.
I have found many members who have just joined that we don't need to mention one by one but soon they can be at the upper level with much better abilities.
They never complain about something that in the eyes of others is the most difficult thing to do, such as complaining about being promoted because of merit.

I have been in your shoes but it is just for few weeks you will find your passion in the group. There are many sections in this forum. For me apart from the technical side, I like to discuss in the legal board. This will update you about the legal actions happening around the world concerning bitcoin, altcoins, exchanges, mixers and even people like CW who is claiming the personality of Satoshi.
Just know your person and strength and go for it. There is Economics board, there is politics board and so many others including local boards. Use the forum honorably for learning and avoid trolling and plagerism.

This is the second time I have heard that YouTube linked someone to the forum. This means that the YouTube channel is really doing a great job. I think the forum should add more helpful contents that will inform viewers and attract them to the forum.

All of us here in forum once was a newbie so we know the feelings of that we can't understand the forum easily and we can not deny that sometimes we felt boring while scrolling and finding some useful topics but once we have a dedication and self control and self discipline is we can make things happen. Cause in this forum once you are a newbie you need to study first what is this forum all about why should we stay here.
