Welcome, you can start by reading the pinned threads on this board you just posted on, they have almost everything you need to know about the forum.

Here is also a beginners Encyclopedia (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5364418.0) by Ratimov. It comprises of everything about the forum from its rules to bitcoin and essentially articles or thread and also alticoins.

Welcome to the forum. It's a good place to be. Just like they say, "This is America; you can be whatever you choose to be." That's how this forum is. You can be whatever you want to be in here. Define your purpose and start exploring. The forum is broad, and you can find anything on it.

All thanks to Ratimov, you can now find most answers to the questions that you might have in mind all in one place. Check out  Beginners and Help Encyclopaedia  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5364418.0):  you can find all helpful links there. Also learn how to use the search option on the forum, as it will save you a lot of stress from repeating questions and already discussed topics.

Edit; the above member drop the link why I was typing..

You are welcome this is the best forum that I have seen before that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are been learn and discussed, so you as a new comer don’t hesitate to ask questions because it will help you allot both in treading and mining and most especially read and make adequate research that will help so that you can’t omit any rules of this forum because if you did so you will end up loosing your account or you might have your account banned due to plagiarism or other what I will advise you is that you should focus more on understanding bitcoin and other cryptocurrency and the forum than hunting for merit that many other members engage and end up doing plagiarism so you can use this link beginners encyclopedia (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5364418.0) by Ratimov

Welcome to the forum. People that commented above me have already provided the necessary information, which I believe will guide you on the forum here, but I don't really think this thread that you created is really useful. I've seen like two similar threads within two days. I don't really know why you have to create the thread because all the necessary information is already pinned in every section of the forum, so I don't think you really need people to start sending it to you again. If you can't go around the forum and check it yourself, then I don't think you are really ready to learn here.

I will remind you of something that people might not talk about: we don’t need AI-generated posts on the forum here, so make sure you avoid using AI to post and make sure you are sharing your idea here. I notice lots of people are now beginning to use AI to generate their posts; if you can do that, then your account will definitely be tagged when caught. Also, there is an offence that is popular among newbies, which is plagiarism. If you are making a post and you copied it from somewhere, don’t forget to quote and add a source link. Punishment for plagiarism is a ban, so you have to be careful.

Hello and welcome!

This is an online forum just like any other, used by thousands of users. Why do you feel like you need special guidance and that you can't explore things on your own?

Sorry if I sounded harsh, but since you have obviously already found the Beginners & Help board, what is stopping you from browsing through the existing threads and reading some questions and comments from other users? That would be much more useful for you than opening a new topic with such a generic request.

You are welcome to the Bitcoin forum and as you can see there is not much things to learn here that to give attention to the rules that is guiding everyone of us here. That is the only thing that will save you from not being ban from this community. If you can try your best not to plagiarize, that alone  can keep you here safe for long. You can read some interesting posts on how to keep yourself safe as a Bitcoiner and avoid unnecessary challenge that could make you a victim of scam. Learn from those that had been here before you and try to obey rules.

Reading resources about bitcoin is important to participate completely in the forum discussions, mostly centered on bitcoin. You need to read as much as any bitcoin related contents shared above and ask questions to easily learn and get quality answers from members. The forum have different boards allocated to the different factors associated with bitcoin. And you must learn gradually, focus on the board that interests you. Grow from reading different terms, new jargon and words that you don't understand. We are here to learn, teach and exchange knowledge, that means your contributions matters too. I found a good resource about bitcoin FAQ https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6jlop4/rbitcoin_faq_newcomers_please_read/ remember and stay clear from people who demand money from you and offer to mine bitcoin for you. Bitcoin mining is not for beginners and no app can mine bitcoin. Don't fall for this! A board is available for mining, if you have questions regarding how it works.

You should read this articles provided for you above as it will make learning easier for you, also don't forget to use the search engine to find whatever question or something that you want to know, for it must have been asked here before.

You should learn more and only post on topics or discussions that you have the knowledge on and don't copy paste any write up from the internet here. It is called plagiarism and it is a ban offense. Be careful with dealing with people in the forum because it isn't everyone that is here with a clear mind, some are here to scam.

Welcome to the forum mate and I want to let you know that here is a community of persons who are interested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency and for you to be here m, I believe you’re also interested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency as well.
I also want you to be free and also know that here is a free space but while being comfortable, you shouldn’t plagiarism consciously and any post copied from the internet or any other article which you’re not the original author or poster should be referenced and credit should be given to the writer.

While trying to learn please don’t b in a haste to make post on the forum but rather spend more time in studying the forum and reading more threads on the forum as these previous threads will easily help guide you.

I also want to advice that you g identify with your local board or thread in the forum as it will be easier to get help on explanation about things on the forum especially if language might be a barrier.

Welcome on board and there are a lot of opportunities on the forum but all depends on how much effort you put into your work.

Alot of discouragement came in too a couple of times....I remember a legendary member saying that he's seen alot of peeps just like me getting registered and it doesn't make any difference - I'm not gon level up anytime soon,..but what?!
Keep on to the learning process - meits are accolades for a knowledge well proven, derived or tutored; you ain't gon' see them coming as you wish for a start.... just don't Back out. Read all through the nooks and crannies of this forum and outside - it's only gon' make you more confident since you'll know how to either help any lost technical dude, or someone just like yourself.

Welcome to the forum

I don't know how you reached this forum, because you are looking for people who can guide you, maybe you got it from social media. not from the person who told you.
Just a suggestion you can get better guidance by discussing it on your local board. In the local language, you can ask questions and discuss more comfortably.
there are tons of threads like this, you can find them and read the discussions to get a lot of information that you probably didn't need to ask. This may require more effort on your part, but that's how you grow in discussion forums.

Usually, a beginner joins because someone brought him here. Ask him specifically for guidance. That is the maximum result.
In my opinion, there is no special skill here, but rather the skill of conveying ideas through writing that is appropriate to the topic of discussion so that it makes it easier for everyone to understand.

Not all are like that because some found this forum by themselves and didn't get introduced to Bitcoin and also this forum just like me although most of the newbies who created an account here are like that where they are introduced to Bitcointalk and Bitcoin. Well, that's what should someone do which is to ask guidance to whoever make OP know this forum. There's no better way than that except searching for your own good.

OP, this forum has produced a lot of those who are stupid/clouds to become intellectuals and smart, those who don't understand crypto to understand, for that, everything you do slowly leaves you will understand and understand everything here, as time goes by.

One major key here that you need to deepen here is the forum rules, it is important for you, after that and everything else will run itself according to your wishes, whether it's about Bitcoin and other things.

The point is: watch and read more here, automatically you will get guidance for yourself, you can ask others.

As interesting as you might have found it @OP I would say, you should find yourself some form of purpose or goal to push you towards doing better on the forum.
It’s a discussion platform where users are expected to share knowledge and what they have learnt over time, don’t be scared on your level of exposure not to share or ask questions on what interests you. There isn’t any dumb person in learning and even a newbie could teach what they are very much familiar with.
Be careful not to spread wrong information and always play by the forum rules as it’s one of the means to have a peaceful coexistence with the forum and its user.
Either as a guest or user, let your time here not be limited. Always come around and always update what you know by putting in as much effort to understand before moving on.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome to join the forum which is always visited by great people who have in-depth knowledge of crypto, they continue to discuss here every day about something that is happening about crypto developments, you can engage in discussions with them to add insight. Initially everyone here didn't really understand about forums and crypto, those who have succeeded here have gone through process after process and spent a lot of time to deepen their knowledge about crypto.

You can still catch up with them or be better than them if you really want to come here to learn. Focus on your goal for joining here then slowly understand something that is useful for you, don't be in a hurry to get income from the forum, when the time comes, you will get the bonus offered in the forum.

Everyone has goals and the nature of those goals is realistic. In order to achieve goals, everyone needs effort.
The OP came here with a clear purpose and specific goal which he kept to himself even though the general aim was stated in the thread that for him this forum is interesting and wants guidance with extensive knowledge so when we tell him ask for guidance from the person who brought him here for better results maximum for what he wants, although later here he will find wider things because the desire to learn is greater.

The most influential force here is a strong desire to try to become better from not knowing to knowing and from that knowledge it can be channeled to other people who have the same desire.

I will join other members here  to welcome you. My first observation is that you are not active which is not a problem as you just got registered and with time I believe you will take the forum serious by contributing to her growth. I know members must have given you many clues on how to survive here on this platform. As we all know, this platform is a big one which would accommodate all with different perspective and view.

OP I will just join in giving you this advise or whatever you deem fit to call it. The issue of plagiarism is a major problem with newbies which you are not exempted. I know as a newbie you would want to talk about happenings around the world as it relates to Bitcoin but if you must bring any of such here, you must do well to get your source as well because that serves as your reference from wherever you got the information from as this platform frowns at plagiarism.

Do well to also locate your local board here because through your local board, you can grow well and communicate with your locals on the same level of understanding since you speak same local language. There you can flow very well with everyone including high rank members here who are open to their locals in assisting them grow up.

If a newbie was introduced to the forum by someone, am sure they might not have the opportunity of getting to know about everything on this forum at once, as to say the fact, it's even what we have we can give others, this means that some people recommend others to join the forum while they themselves know little or nothing much about the forum, as long as a newbie landed here, all he needs to first do is to read the forum's rules and regulations to know what's in for him here, if he sees he can cope and stay, then he can request for directions from other experienced members or make use of the search button to explore the forum.

Use the search feature to search for the topic you want and make sure you read all the forum rules so you don't break any rules.
I completely understand your point about people giving recommendations to join this forum which it's purpose is to gain knowledge and more. In short, gaining knowledge is a must if you are interested in cryptocurrency. I think many may have misunderstood my point which is all about a forum member is either who got recommended by someone to join here or they find the forum themselves without someone recommend them to join this forum.

Chelsea signed more players this summer than they've won Premier League games since the takeover. 🔵🤯
Wait is Chelsea player signing the major reason why you join this forum?
You ask the people of this forum for the guide which will help you get vast knowledge about this forum and you're provided with unofficial rules for the forum with the beginners & help Encyclopedia created by Ratimov (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5364418.0) which is enough to give you the knowledge you need in your cryptocurrency journey on and off this forum but you choose to talk about Chelsea instead read what was provided to you which is something the majority of high ranked member don't have the opportunity to learn through it when they join the crypto space.

Am also surprised why the OP tend to ignore all the advice that  was given to him and to start his journey here with spamming of different board in contrary to what is being discussed. Well I would just tag it as lack of understanding and am sure by the time moderators start deleting post of the OP then am sure he will following up with the advice that were given to him. That's why when contributing my advice here in this particular thread I was very specific on the issue of READING because if you don't read and have knowledge then all you doing will be for vain.
