Wasting of money for smoking and gambling is not good, if we calculate the amount of money we use in smoking and drinking for annual,  including the one we use for gambling it can be sum up to start a business offline or we use the to invest in bitcoin knowing that one day we shall recover the money. Smoking is a personal decision and some people health needs smoking to survive but I will advice who is into smoking and drinking to divert the money for bitcoin because many of us today misused some of the opportunity of investment instead they use it for something that is not profiting. Some people don't calculate well because of somethings that is not necessary, so what I want us to understand is that investment is better than drinking and smoking

If you think about it that way, you could say the same thing about any kind of fun stuf f, right? But then, what's the point of life? Just piling up money without enjoying it a bit? Nah, I don't think so.

I think you don't smoke, drink or gambling, so don't blame those that are engaged on it. People doing all this act do it for fun. You no fit say that they no dey invest, not necessarily say na only Bitcoin go invest your money. Na true you talk, but you know say some people no believe in all this online investment, because they think say na everything be scam or dey done try invest and dey scam them, so some people just believe in smoking and gambling, many people that are playing gambling, i think they believe that dey will get fast money then to invest for long term, and later on they will lose is better for them to play gambling to get quick money without involving in any stress. some of my friends i try to confuse them to invest in Bitcoin, but dey Refuse because dey didn't believe on it dey just westing there time playing gambling without any plans on investing, dey think that is only bet that pay, i think one day dey go understand waiting i dey try explain for them.and smoking no good for our health he dey damage many things for our body.

There is this saying that goes "if you don't smoke, you may drink and if you don't drink, then you may womanized''. I'm not sure you why you never included the rest because every man has what he loves to kill his time with, it's what they love doing and all of them involve money. If you smoke expensive cigarettes, by the time you calculate all of that, you will be calculation million naira at the end of the year, same for expensive drinks, womanizing to keep up with expensive lifestyle and impress and gambling. But to those who does all of this, they don't complain or see it as waste of money, they even have more on investment than you think.

Life is too short not too catch fun, I am sure you also see rich men buy expensive drinks for each other, they don't see it as waste but as a symbol of rich class life, an ordinary can not afford to do that but if they have the means, they will do the same, hence why they settle for small drinks like Heineken, Budweiser, High life and other brands to enjoy the little they have with their friends.

How true could this be? I have never heard of someone that needs to smoke in order to survive. I only hear the bad part of smoking which damages the kidney or liver after a long time of addiction to it without taking necessary precautions to prevent that.


Not everyone knows how to trade and manage investments. If they don’t know how to do that, they will end up losing all what they have invested. Bitcoin investment could be a reliable alternative, but not everyone can still manage that without having fear in them of losing the money to market volatility.

Health wise the thing no good to smoke but some places with plenty cold you no go get choice sometimes and brotherly even gambling done help plenty people and also done spoil plenty people market, person for get sence for that kind level, if I see waiting gambling done do people I they always fear. but the person get more than enough and him fit pay for him smoke and drink I no see am as problem since the person know the dangers behind smoking and drinking. waiting you talk say he no go people they make money from the thing, and the thing be say them they always give warning so personal choice.

I have a neighbor in my compound who is a chronic addict to both smoking and alcohol, and I think he gambles too, we got talking one day and while we were discussing, he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and lighted it up, I got uncomfortable with the smell and then asked him what he benefits from constant smoking and alcohol intake, that if he gathered the money he spends on buying this things for 3 years, it could be enough to buy a piece of land ..

And the response he gave me was ....

"You wey no dey smoke, and you no dey drink, how many piece of land you don buy, abi no be the same me and you dey here, dey pay the same rent, I don ever come tell you say i no fit pay my house rent?"

He actually picked offence, and I had to apologize to him to avoid misunderstanding, he didn't even know that I am already building my house .

So their problem is that they don't listen, they never listen, when ever you ask them to stop and use that money for something much more better for their live, they first of all access you and ask you if you are better than them in any way, they ask you what have you achieved you that is not smoking or drinking, like I was supposed to start mentioning all I've achieved for them.

Well, the things be say if to say nah only cigarettes some of them they smoke e for goood (cigarettes are not good either).

One man's food is another man's poison, and as human we have our various bad habits. An addicted smoker will take a very long time before he stops smoking, this is if he wants to stop because the money that they use to buy cigarettes is cheap and sometimes people buy for them, because smokers care for his fellow smokers. It is not easy to stop something that you are addicted to like smokong,drinking,drugs and womanising. On the other hand not all smokers' are not investing or don't have an investment. There are many wealthy people that has investment everywhere that are smoking and drinking. It is just a pity that you only see the smokers that don't have an investment. You should also know that bitcoin investment is not for all but only for people who can take the risk to invest because they believe in it. Well your point was well stated as smoking is hazardous to the health, and gambling is not 100% a good  investment to people who lack knowledge of a proper risk management methods. Smoking Marijuana  per say is been prescribed by doctors in some countries as a remedy in correcting some health issues. For instance smoking has been proven to reduce the split of cancer cells,  and it has also been said that it also helps in reducing the rate of depression amongst young folks. I usually observe the level of confidence I feel from people  who just finished taking mariduana lol...
I view gambling  as a very good means of making  quick and legal money as it has been approved in many countries. The chance of losing your money in gambling  is very high and the chance of winning is slim of which I know, but i will not say gambling is bad because i have seen some family who was struggling financially  suddenly gain quick financial elevations and are able to compete  in financial market and business to met a good leaving standard.  My advice in  gambling is to invest what you could afford to lose and apply a good risk management technique and you're good to go and smokers are liable to die young.

You said some people health need smoking to survive??, How?. Is it when they’re addicted to it or just normally that’s how they be, because me I no understand wetin you mean by some people health need smoking to survive, all I know is that smoking courses health problems to youths and any other smoker in general, because smoking course the following problems to human health.

1: cancer
2: heart disease
3: Pulminary disease
And other diseases.

Smoking has adverse effects, it is advisable to avoid smoking because there is no benefit attached to smoking, but let's not dispute the fact that smoking being an addictive substance is very hard to stop when people indulge in it, the best way to go is to avoid smoking totally in other not to allow the penetration of the health defects that come with it, yes, the money used for smoking can be diverted to better stuffs but it is not always like that because money must be spent but the ability to spend wisely puts you ahead others.

Gambling is a business for some people so I don't see everyone adhering to this advice, I think people should gamble wisely, since they have chosen that part, they should not make it a do-or-die affair in other to avoid regret.

The truth is if you’re not doing something you won’t know what it feels like to you smoking and gambling is not good or a waste of money but I have seen guys who made millions with gambling I have seen guys who work like a mechanic when they smoke and get high yes it is very wrong but people have reason me to do some kind of things.

Op you have spoken well I like the fact that see bitcoin investment profitable than smoking, gambling and drinking, I will also want to appreciate you for being specific with the investment, because some shitcoin investment is even worse than smoking and drinking. Some shitcoin coin investment has lead to depression which caused a person his life by committing suicide after his entire investment crashed. @ OP, you have made a great point but also, looking at the things of pleasures as waste of money which can be proportional to generate income is not only referred to drinking and smoking.
Many people preaches against these two addictions because they are termed bad and unnecessary habits while there are other Indulgences habitual acts that are worsen even running in the immune of some persons which consumes them more than the previous-mentioned but such as s3xual intercourse for pleasures, the materialistics and the luxurious livings that are not even easily afforded comparing to their income though smoking and drinking is capitalized due to healths effects and the amount spent on the basis might be little at a spot but huge in a bundle of accumulation.

Actually, most people engaging in smoking and drinking alcohol want to change their habit, but due to addiction, they can’t do it over a night; it takes time.
