Where does the receiving address belong to?
Does it belong to a custodial service like a centralized exchange or a non-custodial wallet?
If you have control over the receiving address (means that you have its private key), you can do CPFP.

CPFP (child pay for parent) means that you spend the unconfirmed output in a transaction with high transaction fee, so that a miner include both transactions in the same block.
If you have full control over the receiving address, but your wallet doesn't allow you to spend unconfirmed outputs, you should import your private key (or your seed phrase) in a wallet allowing you to do so.

Sadly with just 9sat/vbyte you can’t get your transaction processed and even looking a the mempool it is like the Wallet used to make this transaction wasn’t RBF enabled and doesn’t support bumping of the transaction. Can you import the seed of the recipient address into maybe electrum wallet if you’re using desktop or BlueWallet for mobile device to probably use the CPFP method.

You can somehow try to accelerate your transaction using viabtc accelerator (https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator), but you might have to pay (which I don’t know the amount) because your transaction is larger to been accelerated using the free service.

I need the money been waiting too long
Next time check https://mempool.space/ before making a transactions, so you can attach a suitable fee to your transaction for it to be confirmed fast. Low priority fees in the mempool at this moment is 13 sat/vbyte and your tx fee rate is 9 sat/vbye, that is very low and for now your tx wouldn't be 'attractive' to miners, unless fees drop.

Your tx isn't also flagged by RBF, so you cannot bump the fee, what wallet did you use in making this transaction? Your options now is to either wait or do CPFP if the situation is in your favor.

That is not quite right, thereis still the option of FullRBF, but yes that depends of the software used to do the transacction.

Bitcoin Core 24.0 Will Enable Full-RBF — The End Of Unconfirmed Transactions? (https://medium.com/coinmonks/bitcoin-core-24-0-will-enable-full-rbf-the-end-of-unconfirmed-transactions-e684a5f41fe2)

I have never been in a situation where my transaction takes that long, but I think you can just wait it out until your transaction is expunged from the mempool. Different nodes have custom times set to expunge the transaction from the mempool, but the default in most nodes is usually roughly 14 days

https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator   would do it if you had paid 11 sats a  byte

you paid 9 sats a byte.

I entered it 2 times and it said something like "no go bro too small a fee"

below tracks the pool

https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC,1w,fee

we have been steady need 12-14 sats a byte

track it and see if it goes to 9 sats a byte which is what you paid.

here is your transaction good luck maybe this weekend

One last hint if you always pay 12 sats a byte you can always use the free accelerator

It wouldn't.
You can't use ViaBTC free accelerator if your transaction size is greater than 500 bytes.
OP's transaction size is 630 bytes.

The wallet is a cash app I need help getting it from pending in cash app to confirmed
So forget about CPFP.
Since Cashapp is a custodial service and you have no control over the private key of the receiving address, there is no way to do CPFP.

Where did you send the fund from?
If you have the private key of the sending addresses, you can replace the transaction with a new one paying higher fee. Of course, as your transaction has not been flagged as RBF, that wouldn't be easy.

There's a good chance that the transaction will fall out of the mempool in 2-3 days, seeing as how its been 12 days already, granted that the Cash App does not rebroadcast the transaction. Most nodes have a default setting to keep transactions alive in the mempool for 14 days.

After this happens, you can resend the transaction, and be sure to choose a higher fee (if possible, have no idea because I've never used Cash App). This is my favorite reference for checking how busy the mempool currently is:

https://mempool.observer/

So right now 13 sat/byte gets you in the next block. For your tx that would be 0.00000013 x 630 = 0.0000819 BTC.

Nope, it has to be ≤0.5 KB for that to work and OP's transaction is 630 bytes.

Quote

Nope again: ViaBTC counts bytes instead of vbytes, so if you use Segwit inputs, 12 sat/vbyte will still be less than the minimum of 10 sat/byte.

If someone helps get my money soon I will send them $18.00 I promise
If someone tells you they've "accelerated" your transaction, they're lying.

Did you contact Cash app support? A Bitcoin unconfirmed transaction that has taken 2 weeks time can be canceled if your wallet allows it. I am not sure whether it is possible on the wallet or if you need to contact support. If you are unaware how to contact them follow this page (https://cash.app/contact). If they cannot help you then you need to wait for the transaction to fall off from the Bitcoin blockchain into your wallet. There is no specific timeline for it to happen.

Cashapp is the receiver, not the sender. Cancelation (which actually means replacing the transaction with a new one paying higher fee) must be done by the sender.
The only thing Cashpp can do is CPFP, but they won't do that.

And the 2 weeks period you are referring to is the default time that nodes drop the transactions if they stay unconfirmed. Unconfirmed transactions can be cancelled (replaced by a new one) by the sender at any time.

It appears CashApp rebroadcasted it (not recommended at the moment -- you're better off waiting until the transaction falls out of the mempool, which takes about 2 weeks after the first broadcast).

On Sept 24th, the mempool started clearing. By Sept 26, median tx fees were low enough for a miner to pick up his tx, which had a fee 9.1 sat/byte.

If the transaction is not too large, you might try accelerating it here (ViaBTC will include it in their next mined block):

https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

*yes I realize there's not just 1 mempool but I said that for the sake of simplifying the matter

The fee rate used for this tranaction is very low and that's not even sufficient to be eligible to use ViaBTC free accelerator.

What do you mean by reversal?
Are you saying the transaction has been made by Cashapp?
If you are the receiver and you have full control over the receiving address, the only thing you can do is to use CPFP method.
CPFP means spending the unconfirmed coins in a new transaction with high fee, so that miners include both transactions in the same block.

Edit:
I just checked the transaction history of the receiving address and I doubt you have full control over that.
Where does the receiving address belong to?

Sheesh. That's a really skimpy fee. Kind of negligent on their part. I'm curious: how much do they charge you for a withdrawal? There's not much you can do except complain to them that they sent your transaction with a fee that is about 1/5 of what it should have been on the date of the transaction.

Seriously the cash app platform have been too negligent on fees for bitcoin withdrawal, since the issue of this network congestion started I have read complaints of user’s transactions getting stuck due to extremely low fees. I even had to check and I saw that they three different bitcoin withdrawal fee charges depending on the block the user wants the transaction complete. The first two are calculated based on the congestion of mempool with charges of $3 for high priority and $2 for medium priority. The last they say is standard which is free and they give estimated time of 24 hours for confirmation. Maybe this is what most users use, but still it is a problem from the platform because they should have Atleast deactivated the last option for now. This is also a good to warn people on storing their bitcoin on centralized platforms like this that they don’t have control off

cash app rejected my deposit they made me do a reversal they're the ones that sent it after they accepted it from the sender who sent it to me because I spoke with the people who sent it to me and they said that it was in fact received and confirmed so it was sent from cash app from me but cash app refuses to speak with me and closed my case even though they know they're wrong I don't know what to do

The last they say is standard which is free and they give estimated time of 24 hours for confirmation.
I think they should stop estimating confirmation times for their customers, it could be misleading for people who do not understand the blockchain and how fee rate works. 'Standard' withdrawal fees in their platform is free and they claim the estimated confirmation time is 24 hours, many people are surely going to take this option with the believe that they can wait for 'just' 24 hours, but then cashapp sends their tx with a very low fee rate and they have to wait forever.

The other two types of 'withdrawal' fees in their platform are:
Quote
Priority - 10 minutes or less: Pro Rata + an additional fee of up to $3
Quote
Rush - 2 hours or less: Pro Rata + an additional fee of up to $2

Since they are the holders of the bitcoin I don’t think they can stop the estimation of fees, the thing should be they should just stop estimating fees that way too low like the standard option if they know they aren’t in collaboration with mining pools that will get the transactions confirmed. One thing i also thought off is the fact that most of this users don’t even know the meaning of this confirmation time, and that’s why they go for the free one, someone with its knowledge will know that the congestion of the mempool won’t allow it. They should just remove that free option if they will continue broadcasting the transaction with such low fee

they didn't even give me any options when they made me do the reversal for any kind of thing when I did the reversal I just inputed the address and hit the button and then that was it I didn't even get in the options

Sorry for your inconvenience but it’s part of the reasons why it is advisable to store your coins on self custodial wallets and precisely does that allow fee customization and bumping

Sorry, but you also got screwed. The transaction was sent with a fee of 6.58 sat/vByte, which is about 1/5 of what it should be, on the low end. The fee is even too low for a free transaction accelerator to pick it up. There's nothing you can do except for wait for the mempool to clear up substantially (unlikely to happen within the next 10 days) or use some kind of paid acceleration service, which I don't recommend as your tx amount is on the small side.

Nobody can help you, your tx is going to be stuck in the mempool for a long time. You can't use a free tx accelerator, you can't also use a paid one because the output is just $81, and the service fee for a paid accelerator would even be as much as or more than your output value. The tx is also not opted to rbf, you only have to wait and if i may ask, why are you guys using cash app wallet?

Unreal... things are even worse now.

I haven't seen it this bad since the end of 2017. This is the main culprit:

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/12/15/EYbeZ.png

Its interesting that image inscriptions have pretty much died out -- it is not feasible to pay for a transaction with a large size containing the image data nowadays. Its really not feasible to use Bitcoin for anything at the moment. Sucks but true. Reminds me of the Yogi Berra quote: “Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded.”
