Title: I need technical help and advice
Post by: Makus on October 02, 2023, 03:52:27 PM
Greeting, bitcoiners sincerely speaking, I have no idea when it comes to understanding the technical aspect of bitcoin. And I deemed it very important in the life of every bitcoiner so, he or she will not be led to falling victim into the hands of scammer, to gain broader knowledge of how the system works and to understand basics of bitcoin wallet. But my exposure to its relative search topics for learning purpose isn't broad for a fresher like me.

I've come to request for any content, be it book, video, post etc that can help me in understanding the technical part of bitcoin. So can also be a contributor in the technical board and physical life situations

I will suggest this mastering bitcoin book (https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook), it encompasses almost everything about bitcoin. You can also have a read at learnmeabitcoin (https://learnmeabitcoin.com/).

On this forum there are multiple threads on wallet, here is one of them on bitcoin wallets and why you should use them (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1631151.0).

Also is a thread by Ratimov that has all valuable threads, books and articles on the forum. You can check them out here  Beginners & Help Encyclopedia. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5364418.0)

If you are looking for more sources to read and learn and become a Bitcoin developer I have a big source you can check this link below

Just scroll down to the bottom if you are looking for Blockchain books. Also, you can click the awesome blockchain home page  (https://github.com/yjjnls/awesome-blockchain)for FAQS if you have some questions it should be answered by that page.

Well OP you are not the only one on this thought because I can say I have had my fair share of stay here in the forum although I still consider myself a newbie when it's comes to the tech stuffs and with all the references link I have seen given, I think I will also put an effort to read and study some of the tech stuffs about bitcoin because I know it will be very helping and I believe in the notion thats say no knowledge is actually waste so studying more won't actually cause any harm and also thqnks to senior that provided such vital links to the source of the information asked it will definitely benefit other interesting users like me.

Besides Awesome Blockchain, the Bitcoin Donation Portal (https://bitcoindevlist.com/) with information of many Bitcoin developers and their works, their Github with open source code, can help you to learn about Bitcoin.

You will have to check their Github, find their projects and pick what is available with source code and what you like to learn from them.

Loads of recommendations already flowing in here, but I consider youtube more profitable for newbies who want to learn the technicalities of the blockchain technology and the bitcoin network.

My strong point being that the videos gives you more practical examples and better explains the book read from bitcoinbook and other relevant contents, it gives you a more practical approach of the contents read.
