Title: Error loading blkindex.dat Post by: CryptikEnigma on December 15, 2011, 10:25:45 PM I've been getting this error lately. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still got the error. Anyone know what I need to do to resolve this problem?

Windows: %APPDATA%\Bitcoin Linux: ~/.bitcoin Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/ MAKE A BACKUP of everything, then delete everything EXCEPT wallet.dat . Fire up Bitcoin again and wait while it downloads a fresh copy of the blockchain. It'll take a while. Then it'll be cured. Let us know if it's not.
