i own a few SatoChip cards myself and am very impressed by the quality as well as the alleged (i haven't tested it because i use it as a collector's item) functionality that it offers
and as far as the design is concerned, i can only say that you have succeeded once again. considering the anniversary, all the important points are visible on the card
the forum itself, the Bitcoin founder satoshi and of course SatoChip :)

The card looks simple on one side, but everything is very organised and clear. Unfortunately, you can't see the second side, as the Bitcoin logo could perhaps be a little stronger.

Otherwise I really like the design and of course it's a rare collector's item.

Being a proud member of this forum since almost ten years and I being bitcointalk the main source of my crypto knowledge I find that design beautiful to say the least!
It reminds me of the beginnings of my cryptojourney and in particular that Satoshi's quote is what embodies that period most: nowadays everyone knows what bitcoin and blockchain technology are (even if someone, clearly in bad faith, insists on saying that whether it's a ponzi and/or he compares it to tulips) but in the first years there were many more skeptics.
Owning that card would make me feel part of the lucky elite that I consider the bitcoin community to be.

Feedback for cards means that you can post whatever you like or don't like with current design and propose potential improvements.
Shipping for all Satochip products should be free worldwide (EU, USA, Canada, etc) without tracking, but you can choose to pay additional fee for tracking if you want.

This edition card is very unique as it is the only one custom-made by SATOCHIP, as well as with a very nice design (satoshi account view) and of course it will be very rare, so collaboration with SATOCHIP is a great thing.
I want to have a rare card as a collection and this will be a precious memory of my time on the forum especially with the 14th anniversary.

I have always liked the Satochip designs and have at least a dozen or so designs from them. Have met a few of the guys from Satochip at the various conferences and they are always friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work guys!

now for feedback on this current design. I like that it provides connection to the forum. I like how the stats are displayed but I have a question - does it have Satoshi's information or will you customize the cards to match the forum member buying them? That would be cool but I imagine an expensive and time consuming venture.

Feedback: Very cool promotion. Great idea to market Bitcointalk. I like the info on it with Satoshi's stats that are recognized by most people on this forum. I definitely want one, which is some proof of existing demand. Normally I say scarcity is the key to collecting. In the case of Bitcointalk though, membership and community around some common shared valued is a huge driver. I think having Satochips exclusive to bitcointalk members is a fun idea and scarcity is not as important. I buy Casascius for scarcity. I buy Satochips and other wallets for utility (and then the collectability is a bonus). I would suggest making this pictured item and others available exclusively for any members. Sell as many as you can and when a product is good, this community advocates pretty hard for it. The origin of the forum is also a driver to bring more people to it over time. Capturing this on Satochip is smart and a win win for everyone.

I really like the idea to carry a card next to credit and other cards. Also it's what folks are most used to, so this could also bring some Bitcoin adaoption to the people.

feedback :Without thinking any further I headed to the sales department and I was curious what products you offer to the public in here (https://satochip.io/shop/).

For me satochip affordable hardware wallet about 25$ is the best with discount until november 24, quite a lot of choices to the cheapest, my eyes are very comfortable and want to try everything, makes me happy ;D, if I get it, it will be a pride because it is limited edition on the 14th anniversary and not printed freely and widely, awesome and its good function and features are complete, this is my first dream hardware wallet ;)

The appearance is stunning like an atm card and identity in the country alone, this is unique.

• Are activities and merits only written when printing is done?
• Can I update my hardware wallet card when I rank up?
• Or is the momentum that I get in the rank that I have and is permanent?

Of course I realize that the main factor is the function of the hardware wallet that is very useful.

I am not a big fan of the card design but I definitely am a fan of the quote. I don't feel like the forum's color scheme is the right aesthetic for me when it comes to cards like this one, most credit cards or similar cards have a deep pastel color so either I got used to that and I can't get behind with the design or I just don't like it. Hopefully there's an option of the dark mode color scheme, that can work for me too.

I had a look at Satochip a while ago but heard about them again recently, and I think it's a great concept. This design is almost perfect, the proportions, the forum theme, everything. If I really wanted to be picky, I would add that the 5 coins under satoshi's username should be grey. And I love the quote too, which also remains me of that one: "I'm better with code than with words though.".

 I am watching Satochip for more than a year, but while the design is nice - I like a lot the card format to keep data -, I don't feel safe enough with hardware wallets with no screen, you know.
 The design was never bad, but this Bitcointalk one is gorgeous. The quote is my favorite from Satoshi, so it is wonderful as collectible (even if I would have no problem with hw without screen, I still like it too much to start actually using it  :) ).
 I am pretty sure that this idea can bring nice income to Satochip for custom profiles and quotes and that's even better.
 All this being said, I feel like this beauty could also fit nicely as SeedKeeper (exactly because it's more a collectible).

Some days ago, sorry for not posting earlier but experienced some real life issues, I received this fantastic card !!!

As I wrote earlier in this thread  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5474907.msg63233345#msg63233345) couldn't ask for a better way to celebrate my ten years on this forum.

At first I thought I would have used it as wallet, also purchased a card reader, unsealed outside packaging because couldn't wait to see the carsd with my eyes but once I saw it I changed my mind.
It's too cool to allow it to deteriorate with use and time by handling it
I think , at least for now, am not going to unbox the transparent envelope and keep it jealously stored as collectible and will buy a new card from Satochip.

By the way it's worth to mention my shoppiung experience was awesome and they assisted me fixing a mistake I did during the buying process - higly recommended!

you could put in one these type cases - holds credit card sized collectibles fairly well - I have ballets, scamkeys, icarus cards, various crypto stamps (some of my CS are too large) other wallets such as boltcards, satscards, tangem wallets (some older tangems are too long to fit) and a few others as well.

I agree, this card looks very cool, but you can still use it once or twice for long term cold storage ;)
I think your card is number 1 from this limited series, and I think that makes it even more special.
Small tip: You don't even have to buy card reader if you have professional laptop with integrated card readers, something like older Lenovo Thinkpads work great for this purpose.

There is also inexpensive machine ^{(can't remember exact name)} that can print plastic cases similar like this, but you won't be able to use the card unless you cut the plastic off.

Satochip cards are currently back in stock but with few different quotes, and with very limited numbers, so check them out.

Yeah, that is the word I was looking for, thermal laminating :D
Even small vacuum bags should work fine for protection and for keeping cards in good condition, and you can easily remove the items whenever you want.

I myself can't wait to hold this card because I have bought directly from Satochip when there is still a limited edition, now the goods have reached my country just waiting for delivery to the house. :o

I also experienced a little mistake in the process of buying a Chip Card Reader, but fortunately @Tibu confirmed the problem quickly above. This is indeed highly recommended.
