I have not too much experience in providing escrow. Though I have managed a few escrows. Several people told me to open a service thread that's why I am doing that.

For Escrow:
Terms:
I will take escrow-only crypto.
The sender/Receiver must sign a message or share the wallet at the time of the deal.

What I will not take:
1. Physical asset (watch, ring, etc)
2. PayPal
3. Payoneer
4. Skrill
5. Account which can be recovered
6. Forum account if it is sell purpose
7. Any coin/token that is proven as a scam

Fee: 1% (also it can be set via discussion)

Already managed few small amount and one for a campaign. I have shown that campaign as reference. But other small transactions not mentioned on the forum so I have not mentooned here. People not trusting me only after getting loan or i only trust them but a lot og people who traded with me trusts me and sends funds to me first. Also when people sends collateral they send first to me.

What is the max amount you have held as escrow?  Whether you are trustworthy or not, I can't tell, but as a general rule, I wouldn't trust more than what you can earn in a year while in a sig campaign. So that would be for example, if you can earn $12,000 per year, anyone using your service should trust you with that much.
After a few years, you will gain trust as an escrow.

I do not see that shasan needs to establish a history of trust to prove that he is trustworthy enough to launch escrow services in amounts that exceed his annual income from the signature campaigns he joins.  He runs the most important lending services on the forum and has a significant number of assets in the form of unsecured loans to many forum members.  This strengthens his position as one of the most reliable members of the forum and has enough preparations to manage this type of service.
Those who use his services will be aware of these details since his trustworthy page says everything even to those who do not know him.

This is slightly concerning, although you can't really gain experience without doing it. Have you read Best practices for Bitcointalk escrow providers (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5368163.0)? I've seen bad mistakes made by "highly trusted" escrows in the past.
Add the case where a hacked account got a $1000 loan from you without signing a message, and I'm even more concerned about your attention to details acting as an escrow. Please be careful :)

There has to be a beginning sometime. Learning from his mistakes may be expensive, but it is one of the best ways to gain experience. Given that he already deals with financial services, I believe he has a good basis for an escrow offer.
Although I personally would never decide on such a business, there are too many parameters that are difficult to recognize in advance and can turn for the worse.

Sure, there is no doubt, but for your and anyone else's information, feedback for a trade worth $5 and a trade worth $5m look the same and not to mention the possibility of fake trades/feedback with alts.

These are only related to escrow services mostly, hence me mentioning them. I don't know him well, and have no opinion about his trustworthiness, but now that you have, how much would you vouch for OP to be able to safely escrow? Like $1m max?
That would be a mistake, besides you can't really come up with that amount to say Ok lets try it as the first client!

Op is a total newbie in this business, @OP, the best thing would be to spend $200 or whatever the rate is, to design a professional looking thread, with some order, nice graphical images, etc.  Include all the standard rules of escrow services market as well.😉

Nice to see you in this field after the lending service. I also feel good to see provably I was probably the first person who used you as an escrow :), It was a smooth deal.

As the previous replies are saying be careful in this field. In lending, if you make some mistake then you will lose the fund that will be lent, but in this Escrow field if you make any mistake you will lose your Reputation which is 100x bigger than any amount of money.

One more thing I want to suggest. If you do any escrow for a bounty campaign must make the deal crystal clear. Basically, the things that will do the distribution after ending the bounty. Bounty distribution may cost a huge amount of fees based on the network. So if the deal is you have to make the distribution must ask for the fees upfront (with the escrow fund). otherwise, it can create a big problem if the project team leaves after ending the campaign :)

Hey, nice to see you create an escrow thread. I have a little concern, but not about your trust since you proved yourself trustworthy. The concern is that you may fall into a trap somehow and lose your reputation, or you may have to pay compensation. You know scammers are much smarter than us, and they are able to make us fools sometimes. Since you have a lending business here and it is running very well, I will advise you to focus there. And be very careful about your escrow service.

But the combination of the two services might be good for him since he has been in the lending service for some years now and with that he has the experience to deal and overcome the scammers and their technical know how. And whereby he hasn't get experience in the escrow service before this time, I will also advise him to focus on the leading service which he has more experience with, because scammers are subtle and we have heard and seen campaign managers escrow accounts were hacked all the funds were stolen. I believed even this year we have heard such bad news in the forum.

But if shasan can also face the risk and determine to do the service then it is good because practice make perfect. Therefore we should not discourage him but to encourage him. We wish you all the best @shasan.

I am working as escrow which has been announced on the bounty thread but the thread is in archival mode. So, I am posting here based on the request of the bounty thread poster.

Shasan is a risk taker because we all know that lending is a risky business and someone who has been actively doing it for so many years is pretty much good at risk taking. I know that Escrow business is a little bit different then lending business because in lending business one lends his own money while in escrow business one takes care of the money of the buyer and transfer it to the seller upon completed trade which's accepted by both parties. As shasan said that he has already been doing escrowing for sometime so I guess he won't face any issues by running this business.

I will hold the amount which I can bear if I lose for any reason eg: hack of my funds account where I will hold the escrow fund. The amount till now in my mind is up to 10k$.

It is not a fact what you think and what is the maximum amount I can hold as escrow? All the community will not use me as an escrow and only those will use me as escrow who can trust/rely on me for the fund.

I had not seen but checked that OP. I usually do not ask for a signed message for a loan as a lot of users still using an exchange wallet. For loans I check
1. Recent Activity
2. recent merit
3. password changed or not
4. Email changed or not
5. Joined on any campaign or not and working on the campaign from when I usually check 4-5 weeks on the spreadsheet.
But for escrow, if it is any campaign then there is no problem as recipients will be from the lists of the participants. But if it is P2P then I will take the return wallet at the time of the dealing post or I will take the signature. For P2P I will never make any final deal out of the forum. I may discuss out of the forum but the final deal will be a must on the forum.
