did you have private keys (I guess) this is not a transaction from an exchange so you can accelerate by yourself, just try to google online "RBF transaction (name of the wallet etc)" and you have solved the issue... Yep that's correct, he still have some coins to speed up the transaction. Waiting is always an option if the transaction has no urgency, but the fee is almost x3 less than low priority, so the only hope in waiting may be that the pressure of new transactions will be reduced because people will be busy celebrating the new year and recovering from the celebrations.
