Title: Launching a Physical Bitcoin project (KHRUSOS)
Post by: brotherjon on January 11, 2024, 02:23:26 AM
Hi! So I'm new on here, wasn't sure where to post, but I'm launching a new Physical Bitcoin, similar to Casascius and Lealana called KHRUSOS.

Our coins are all DIY for liability purposes, but I wanted to share on here to spread the word. We sold a few bulk orders already too!

To see the coin... https://imgur.com/a/bsAmC2U

If you're curious, check us out on https://www.khrusos.co/ (https://www.khrusos.co/)

or on "sites.google.com/view/khrusos (http://sites.google.com/view/khrusos)"... this is our legacy link.

I have just started the indexing process for our site as well. First business :)

Thanks BTC family! Also, cheers to BTC's belated 15th birthday on the 3rd!
-Brother Jon

TELEGRAM @hohanan (new username)

Pricing for forum members:
$50 BTC for 1x coin
$40 BTC for 2x coins
$36.99 BTC for 5+ coins
$33.99 BTC for 10+ coins
LOWEST OFFER $30.99 BTC for 15+ coins

These V1's will only be available for a limited time, and after they're gone, they're gone, so get them while you still can. Buy for yourself, or to resell at a later date when they are harder to find. Less than 100 produced. V2's will be coming later down the line in a larger quantity as well! Stay tuned!

Previous buyers on the forums:
CARIBBEAN_TREASURES (purchased bulk)
MoparMiningLLC (purchased bulk)

Will use a MM paid by buyer if necessary; however, if trust is an issue, we are also selling on eBay.
Feel free to ask our previous buyers from the forums as well!

Cheers!

I know, we just started this month (technically in November with our eBay listing). Still trying to figure out the crawlers and everything, but hopefully posts like this will get the name out there! Lol

Might be best if this was posted in 'Goods'. Discussion probably not the right place for it.

The coins look nice though. All the best with the business.  :)

Welcome.

Bitcoin is an electronic Peer-to-Peer cash, it is digitalized and we don't have what is like Physical bitcoin.

Not your keys (private keys), not your bitcoins.

I don't know what you plan to do and I don't say you plan to scam but there are many scams with physical bitcoins or collectibles. Because we don't have physical bitcoins so any project provides such is only a physical card, drawing, whatever with an attached private key. You don't know the person created those private keys are good and don't scam you by sweeping those private keys to new ones.

As I said, our coins are DIY. Look up Casascius. Unlike Casascius, we don't generate the keys, we just sell the item as a collectible keepsake. Just coin and hologram for our users. We have a small tutorial on our site for users to create their personal keys for their coins using bitaddress.

Give some of the evidence that you've done some sales and at the same time move this announcement to the Goods Discussion of the forum under the Collectibles section, you're going to find the people there that's going to be interested in your product more than here in the Bitcoin Discussion. Make sure to clean your announcement thread there so people aren't confused with what you're selling, the products are awesome and I love the idea that it's a do-it-yourself kind, a bit more passion is put into it that way.

Hello Jon, welcome to the community :)

  • Based on its DIY approach, I understand why it isn't graded, but can you post a video showing the reflections from different angles [just interested in seeing the quality of the finished product]?
    - It seems the V1.0 sample coin on your website has some room for more polishing.

In case you didn't move this thread to the "Service Announcements" board and you still haven't figured it out, the move topic button is in the bottom left corner of the page.
- It belongs to the "Collectibles (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0)" board.

do you accept Bitcoin as a form of payment?
would you use escrow? such as minerjones? or even myself and a few others who have also performed escrow for the collectibles group?

This would help with the establishing of trust.

No issue using a trusted MM if buyer pays, and yes I do accept BTC; however, if trust is an issue, eBay is also an option. We can fix a better deal on Telegram too for bulk orders. All info including contact options are on the site as well.

Hopefully this helps with seeing the hologram better,
Thank you, I'm sure it does, but I was referring to the front side of KHRUSOS V1 [specifically referring to the top half of the provided sample on your website (it appears to be uneven near the edge)].
- I should've been clearer (my bad).

FYI, I sent you an email. I reached my 2 message limit for the day since I don't have copper.
If you'd like me to post the address here for purchase, let me know.

Also, some issues with LN, so it's just a typical segwit bc address.
Feel free to respond to this or the email when you get this

Cheers

You're now whitelisted, the restrictions associated with the newbie rank have been lowered (you should also receive a confirmation PM).

Pretty sure I've seen these before and am possibly interested in a piece as well. Welcome to Bitcointalk and good luck with the project!

Let me know if you are interested in a PM or on Telegram! These are the final V1s, but the V2s will come in a larger quantity once these first 100 are sold! Suggest getting some while they are available, because once the V1 designs are sold we're off to the new V2 design.

I received my bag of 10 - my only advice to brotherjon is to package the coins better. They were individually bagged and then were rebagged in a slightly larger ziploc bag and then packaged in a bubble envelope - the coins are fine - but this could easily lead to damaged coins. I would suggest always using airtites.

I did buy bulk to save some $ and have 5 extras - if anyone would like one from me, send me a DM.

Thank you @brotherjon for the coins!

Thank you Mopar for helping me secure one of the rarer V1 varieties ! brotherjon I can't wait to see the final product in hand. Keep it up with these coins, can't wait to see more and more designs from you as we look for the outlook on 2024 and beyond.

I didn’t have any interaction with BrotherJon but I was curious after seeing this post and looked into it a bit (a Google search). It is sad that he passed away so young and with seemingly a bright future ahead of him. He only made a few posts here, but it seems like he made a strong connection with a couple of you.
