These are the new pieces from United crypto states. Love that they are silver and love the design…. I even like the shield shaped holo but 100+ bucks for a 1000 sats piece is a bit much. I also think actually redeeming them isn’t as straight forward as grabbing the private keys under a holo. What y’all think? Worth a snag?

Just like all their coins. They purposely fund so you can never redeem. They fund 40 cents and it cost dollars to swipe. I find these physical bitcoins offensive to our hobby. Trying to capitalize but not capturing the heart of what physical bitcoin is all about. I love the coins but not buying for principle. After their sol noctis eagle and bull all downhill

The company is what’s wrong. Shady fucks. Never an answer for why a Sol Noctis Bull had coins moved off and back on within a day I think it was. Lots more on this but too lazy to type it out or pull it up where it was discussed.

Cool coins? Absolutely! But their cheesy ass descriptions and websites turn me off. Guaranteed they don’t have a money transmission license. Repeating the Sol Owl and Bull is a turn off as well. I simply refuse to do bizz with companies that are shady even a tiny bit. It’s never necessary.

It does seem that way. This is almost more of a piece showing you’ve burned a certain amount of BTC. It seems like this isn’t made for people who actually use Bitcoin, but for people who want to collect a Bitcoin item for cheap while claiming it’s actual Bitcoin. All criticism aside though, it’s a great looking coin and if you don’t mind spending extra for BTC you’ll never get to use, there’s no better option.

I agree with all you guys’s sentiments… I didn’t realize they were responsible for the sol Noctis pieces. I’m not sure of the whole story there but I know from passing comments to never find a sol Noctis piece. A shame bc I really like them and I’m a sucker for the “differently” shaped security holograms. I bought the first handful of releases for them bc I have an extremely hard time not collecting an entire set of something once I start but after buying their “Puma” 2oz silver coin I lost interest. The puma design looks like it was drawn by a child… proportions are all whacked and it’s just an unattractive coin

Lol Shady Fucks lmao yeah what the heck why have we not heard back on this?! Honestly they could have used a newer design and one of their own making on the obverse. Lazy fucks also applies here!

I also agreed with what you have to say here dane:

Wish they made it a legit loading and put a bit more work with making their customers happy. Could it be possible that they fully anticipated that bitcoin will be a milli and then what would the amount be worth on that coin? Maybe the 40 cents turned to 25 dollars or something??? Idk exactly the amount that loaded on

The 40 cents would turn into $10 so nothing really changes when considering what the fees might be at that later time.  Coin looks nice but a hard pass for me.  Who needs a 3rd strike when shady and cash grab are the first 2.
