Title: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
Post by: Vincom on February 05, 2024, 08:06:06 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto is a famous figure in the crypto market, and perhaps worldwide at the moment, because he created Bitcoin - the first crypto and opened the blockchain & crypto era. There have been many searches for Satoshi's true identity but no one has been successful. There is someone claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto but cannot prove it when he cannot move BTC from Satoshi Nakamoto's address[1].

For many people, Satoshi's anonymity is one of the most important assets of the Bitcoin blockchain because it keeps Bitcoin from being an asset managed by any individual[2]. However, today I think of a case when Satoshi Nakamoto reappeared and made the crypto community vibrant again in many ways: discuss on crypto forums, move a few satoshis from his address, send a message to the crypto community via Inscription...

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would probably send the entire 1M BTC to charities around the world. I would not dare to appear and have my identity revealed for fear of endangering my life. Bitcoin has succeeded beyond all initial expectations  ;D

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
  • Would you dare to appear in public?
  • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
  • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
  • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?

No.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes, but it can be done through an online meeting. But this defeats the idea of not appearing in public. Even if it will be an online meeting, that's still an appearance.
Yes.
Yes.

But all of these questions will be different if answered by Satoshi himself.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto I would stay behind the scenes with the Bitcoins I have I would not sell any of them I would share them with all the world in need I would not reveal my identity to anyone and would not accept invitations to any country or country. anyone and continue to support the development of blockchain so that the whole world uses this technology in the future and regardless of the name fiat, that's my view if I were Satoshi Nakamoto

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
  • Would you dare to appear in public?
No. I would be in too much danger and I can not risk being outside even if there were bodyguards around i know there would always be people trying to take me down or get my riches

Quote
  • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
Yes. Honestly i do not know how satoshi can live knowing he has much money and does not do anything about it. I would definitely take bitcoin and sell it maybe not all of it but a huge portion of it. If i created something that generates this much money, i would like to take my part of it

Quote
  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
If i knew how to make it better yes i would try to learn more about bitcoin and try to improve on its limitations behind the scenes but I probably would not get myself involved too much

Quote
  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
No

Quote
  • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
I can take profit without showing who I really am because of safety purposes as well

Quote
  • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?
Yes because i would want them to live comfortably

well lets assume that I am satoshi nakomata which I never want to be i would like to me and groom and make my own personality. As satoshi nakomata has done his best part for us with the most unique gift he has given us.

1. nope I would like not to appear in public places and I would love to stay anonymous.
2. Yes for sure I will sell them and enjoy my life. would you sell them or would like to enjoy your life? Hopefully answer will be the same from our side as well haha.
3. Yes I would love to participate in the development of this biggest project in the crypto space. But sadly stoshi nakomata is totally vanished from the world's eye. Maybe he has vanished due to some reasons or personal preference.
4. Yes it is the first time in the future that cryptocurrency is the legal asset for national reserves and anyone can own it without any hesitation. so why not i would like to accept it.
5. Yes Would still love to stay anonymous because privacy does matter.
6. All of mine should be used for something good so I would love to share my assets with children. would you share your digital assets with your children before you die?

It's very hard to answer, but assuming,

Quote
Would you dare to appear in public?
Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?

1. No, I will stay anonymous.
2. No, because it will create a lot of noises and many individuals are going to look for me.
3. No, as I have said, before the I left it is with good hands
4. No,
5. Yes, I have stay hidden already. and I will just observed it from the background.
6. Yes, but I will not hand them my private keys, if I still have it.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would probably send the entire 1M BTC to charities around the world. I would not dare to appear and have my identity revealed for fear of endangering my life. Bitcoin has succeeded beyond all initial expectations  ;D
Then it would cause a major crash in the price of Bitcoin on the moment he executed the huge transaction to charity. Neither the charities, neither other investors would be benefited by Bitcoin anymore, as BTC's reputation would be completely destroyed from that moment on.

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
Satoshi Nakamoto is right by acting the way he has been doing since the beginning. It's actually a good example on how every of us should act if we were on his shoes. If he wants his creation to work, he has to remain anonymous and outside of the cameras, otherwise Bitcoin would be heavily prejudiced and accused of being launched with the sole purpose of enriching its creator. Bitcoin works because there is an ideal behind it, which goes beyond wicked human's nature of being greedy and only acting on their own interest. Satoshi Nakamoto, on the other hand, looks loyal to what he believes and what he has created.

It must be a temptation to sell all his coins at anytime and conquer power and money immediately, but somehow he fights the wicked human's nature back, and remain noble to his initial purpose. I think the question is, would you be able to do the same, if you were him?

If I were satoshi, I'd like to remain anonymous to outside world. I'd certainly cashout my riches time and again. But in a way not to expose me and my family early.
I might not be able to hold the secret and might tell it to my family and even devise a locker or a timed cryptographic message that reveals my identity with proof after I die or after some decades when I might have died. Satoshi Nakamoto would be considered one of the greatest developer in the future and I would not want to die and forgotten while my pseudonym remains popular.

First, this discussion would suit the Bitcoin Discussion, you can move it there.

I didn't question Satoshi's decision to be anonymous and didn't dare to reveal it to the public which is good to respect.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would probably send the entire 1M BTC to charities around the world. I would not dare to appear and have my identity revealed for fear of endangering my life. Bitcoin has succeeded beyond all initial expectations  ;D
Good thing you aren't. :D
If this happens, Bitcoin will be crushed due to a huge supply will sell.  Imagine, 1M Bitcoin in a total supply of Bitcoin might have an impact to the price.

1. No!
2. No!
3. Yes, but to disguise as a developer.
4. No, to care about my anonymity.
5. Yes, of course.
6. No, for the sake of anonymity.

I would never appear in public. But i would probably cash in my 1M BTC, or at least part of it. But why would i participate to development? I already could do that. Anyone with skills can propose changes. Miners and community just have to agree with changes.

I wouldn't accept invitation to El Salvador. That would only reveal my identity. I wouldn't go there anonymously either. I would have probably revealed everything to my closest family already.

But to be totally honest, i wouldn't want to be Sathosi as Satoshi is most likely dead.

If I'm a satoshi nakamoto I will not make myself to be known by anyone, because government is against existence of bitcoin and they are looking for all means to track bitcoin down, so if satoshi should appear in public government may get he arrested to review the secret of bitcoin technology, because it's understanding that bitcoin and the secret behind it development and adoption is be held by satoshi nakamoto and if he makes itself available to people to know that he is the founder of bitcoin it might put itself into problems.

Your questions are basic and complex at the sametime. I'll attempt to answer all th questions.
No, I'll prefer to stay anonymous because that have kept Bitcoin going forward and popular in the universe.
What's the essence of moving 1M BTC and sell for USD when I can easily convert them to stable coin for future purpose?
Ofcourse I'll anticipates in the blockchain upgrade but I'll ensure my activities are discreetly triggered.
No, I will not honour the invitation to El Salvador for reasons best known to me.
Anonymous is the best style to stay for the purpose of good growth of bitcoin in the space.
Revealing the secret to my children before I cease to exists, I will expose everything that have made me who I'm today.

1. of course not, I will continue to protect my identity lol. too many bad people in this world. so I will remain anonymous forever.
2. since it is impossible to sell 1 million btc on just one exchange, I will spread it to 20 exchanges, and spend the liquidation all over the world. be thankful Satoshi is not me, you guys  ;D

IF I WERE SATOSHI NAKAMOTO.
then I would not go anywhere and would not show my identity to anyone, except my confidants.
because I think my presence out there will be a lot of people focused on me.
especially crime will also focus on me and will greatly threaten the peace of life.
And it will also threaten my life too.

but I think it's better to be anonymous than to live in the real world.

If I were him I'll be ripping off some of those funds that I created or to say sell some. I think he deserved to live with good life and amazing lifestyle. He created something that every person in the world would be thankful with. Of course just dont sell it all cause the market might crash. But revealing himself would be chaos. Its better to stay hidden and acts like ome of the jabbawackees guys and talk tot he people in a unique way or blockchain messages.

So many questions about Satoshi Nakamoto, what if, what that? This is the talk on the crypto world about Satoshi whenever a discussion is being brought up about him. If I was Satoshi Nakamoto, I will assume I should have the same thinking as he does and will only follow the path which he is following currently to protect the development of bitcoin. Any of the questions you’ve asked above; if none of them will align with what will safeguard bitcoins existence, I will not allow any of that to happen.

The anonymous nature of Satoshi is what is keeping bitcoin alive today, and I so much believe that without it been so, a lot would have happened in the space that would be at a great disadvantage to bitcoin today. Being anonymous is this present age is the best especially when your identity will pose threat to you or an invention that you have control of the back end.

I would probably prefer to remain anonymous. I wouldn't even want to touch my 1M Bitcoin back. Because that could create panic or something like that in the market. Because Satoshi definitely has another wallet that is not actually known to the public. He could have many wallets containing several BTC. So he can just sell from that many wallets and not have to touch his BTC Wallet which has millions of BTC at all.

Remaining anonymous means opting out of all questions. but to tell our kids maybe it will be done. Because in the end everything must be revealed at the right time or at the right moment.

  • Would you dare to appear in public?
I will not anymore because, for me, Bitcoin is already in good condition right now, with or without Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin will stay so it's fine. Bitcoin was built for decentralization, so we don't need Satoshi Nakamoto anymore.

Making Satoshi's identity public could cause attention to move from the technology to the founder, which would go gainst the original plan to create a decentralized currency. But overall, Bitcoin is already decentralized.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would still be in the background watching the development of the crypto world. I would not show who I really am to anyone, nor my wife or children. Personally, with the coins I have, I would give them to people who need them and I would create a focused school. in cryptocurrency without knowing who I really am because I think that if my identity is revealed then there will be big problems if I am Satoshi Nakamoto

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I'd probably want to stay out of the spotlight and watch Bitcoin grow from the sidelines, like a quiet protector keeping an eye on things.  I might give little hints here and there to help it stay on track with decentralization and giving power back to regular people and  maybe I'd anonymously chip in to support projects working toward that original goal, too.

I wouldn't want attention on me specifically.  Id just be happy seeing this thing I created take on a life of its own and hopefully make finance more accessible and fair over time.  It'd be rewarding enough to see Bitcoin becoming a global phenomenon that empowers folks financially.  I'd stay mysterious in the background just keeping my creation on the right path when I could.

1. Nope. I see no need to and I don't really think fame would get me anywhere. In fact it'd only be a bother really. I'd rather let the status quo remain.
2. It depends? I mean if I'm in need of money why not. Not all of a sudden or all at once though. I'd much rather do it slowly really. Said BTC ain't going anywhere anyway and no matter the price change, it'd still be a sizeable amount no matter what.
3. Definitely.
4. No. That goes against what I said with 1.
5. Yes.
6. Nope. Maybe at my will, but I see no reason why I should reveal it willingly really. Maybe if they were able to trace it somehow, then sure why not.

Revealing himself seems just a recipe for disaster or chaos really. Just the fact that he owns thousands of Bitcoin is enough of a factor really.

2. No.

3. Yes.

Satoshi been anonymous is better,  coming out may cause something about about bitcoin or Satoshi.  If Satoshi make himself known I don't think he will be safe because bitcoin have always been a threat to the government . Satoshi coming out to make himself known to the public can be an easy way to for the government to destroy bitcoin.

I agree with the general consensus here, if I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I'll remain anonymous forever, as a true example and representation of the freedom and privacy that Bitcoin guarantees. Revealing his true identity to a few trusted family and friends can be risky for him, because you can never truly trust people to keep your secrets, but the most important thing for him is to keep inheritance for his family, despite him protecting his identity from his Bitcoin.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would probably prefer to remain anonymous to avoid risking my personal safety. However, I would use my funds for charitable purposes to help those in need and thus leave a positive impact on the world without revealing my identity.Bitcoin has surpassed all initial expectations and its anonymity remains one of the most important assets.

Satoshi was a wise man and he knew how dangerous it can be to go public if bitcoin becomes an asset class in the future. It is also possible that satoshi is just a made-up character to shadow the real person behind the creation of the bitcoin network. But who ever did that? They wanted to remain anonymous for a reason and i think every wise man would do the same. It is hard to tell what i would do if i were satoshi because creator has ambition, and his future plan have been built on that.

If I was Satoshi I’d do nothing. I wouldn’t reveal who I was & I wouldn’t do anything to prove it. Satoshi created Bitcoin anonymously, he didn’t want publicity or fame for doing it. I’m sure he was solo mining & has many Bitcoin in ‘not known’ Satoshi addresses. He could spend them without raising suspicions, it’d just look like a real OG selling. Satoshi is either dead or going to live anonymously, that’s how he wanted it to be.

Steer clear of the public that's for sure.  He is tied to around 1. Bitcoin.  Going public now could land him dead.  Moving that much bitcoin would probably shake up the world since those being pretty much lost is probably baked into the price.  There is no benefit at this point to go public.  Theor motive was not meant for personal gain as seen in the beginning when they didn't want to be known from the get go.

If I’m Satoshi, I will still not reveal my true identity because I made Bitcoin for this purpose but now its slowly fading away because of the regulations and the KYC being implement by most of the projects. Satoshi wants us to be more secured and to transact anonymously at a cheaper rate and at a faster option, and I’d hope that Satoshi will remain anonymous because if he’s going to reveal his true identity, that can affect Bitcoin market especially if that person is one of the most hated person in many countries.

Have you ever wondered that Satoshi Nakamoto could simply lose access to his wallet because his hard drive flew or his computer burned down. There are many ways to lose access to your wallet. Maybe he can't do anything with his bitcoins because he doesn't have access to them. And you wonder why he doesn't do anything with them.

1. Would you dare to appear in public?

Not after everything that happened, it could be that after I reveal myself, you will find me dead the next day.

2. Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?

No, I will let it stay there forever, do you think Satoshi is that stupid to only have that 1M Bitcoin (BTC)?

3. Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?

Times are getting more sophisticated over time, people might easily find me if I'm still involved in development, it's another matter if I participate in development without using my pseudonym.

4. Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?

Hey, I already said I don't want to reveal myself to the public, so the answer is "Not at all".

5. Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?

Yes, like Satoshi doing now (probably).

6. Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?

Here it has its pros and cons, but I would go to "I will tell my child that I'm Satoshi before I die". After I destroyed all the archives I had about Bitcoin (BTC), because maybe one day it would be dangerous for my child.

No discussion about Altcoins in this topic, so I think it would be better if you move it to Bitcoin Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=1.0). That will get you more answers from the best people on this forum.

Cryptocurrencies are not physical coins they are held electronically, digital assets remain as data. What I did was say thank you to him for devoting his attention to the crypto world developing to this day and becoming increasingly popular and for the future, but he is still a hidden person and even if we do transactions in terms of fees, there are many choices and they are cheaper. rather than the traditional way of using a bank but Users still need to remain aware of its limitations and instability.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, I would probably send the entire 1M BTC to charities around the world. I would not dare to appear and have my identity revealed for fear of endangering my life. Bitcoin has succeeded beyond all initial expectations  ;D
Why would you do that when everyone's eyes is on the Satoshi coins. If anything did happen to the coins, it will affect the bitcoin price. It will also be good if we see that bitcoin in the address as a bitcoin reserve. When people remember that one address has such amount of bitcoin, they might not think of manipulating the market.

  • Would you dare to appear in public?
There's no need appearing again while hiding for many years.

  • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
This is not necessary because bitcoin is continuous and not ending tomorrow

  • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
Yes, because this is passion and wherever Satoshi might be, he is doing that already I guess.

  • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
Yes, maybe to create more fundamentals.

  • Would you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
Yes, the best option

I have some questions for everyone: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do?
          • Would you dare to appear in public?
Nope, I won't. I don't think Satoshi would ever do that, that's if he/they're still alive. I would lose the tremendous respect I've got for that entity if he/they were ever to make any public appearance.

          Quote
          • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
I would sell a part of it to get a grooving life and to give myself a pat on the back for all those slaving years in the lab, cooking up what's now a phenomenal innovation.

          Quote
          • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
Nope, what for? I don't see the need for that.

          Quote

That's the best thing to do, continue to remain anonymous.

At this time no for security reasons and it will create disruptions and they might time they might target me for what I have created

          • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
It's better not to it should stay that way to protect the market 1 million is such a huge amount

          • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
There are a lot of great developers in the ecosystem it will just create confusion

          • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
          No for security reasons

          • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
Yes definitely Bitcoin adoption is doing great why start confusion

          • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?
No, it might disrupt their privacy it's better to keep everything like it is, as a father the privacy and security of the children are more important than any technology.

Satoshi Nakamoto has solved problem in the world of financial services sector across the globe, in which have to hide his/her identity and until the world end, I don't think the person we review his self, Therefore, if I'm Satoshi Nakamoto I will not review my self to the world because of high risk involved, secondly review the secret to the children is still dangerous as well and the legacy has been created in the family and it only takes courage to keep the secret among the children.

Well I were Saotshi I would be a very rich man. I would not want to come into public. I think there is too many people who want to talk to him and he does want his own privacy.

I would not move any of my BTC. But instead I would just watch Bitcoin become what I expected it to become when I wrote the white paper. I would stay anonymous forever. To not get unwanted attention and maybe put my own life in a risk.

No way, I would've planned my exit strategy before Bitcoin's popularity surged, ensuring no suspicion arose. Then, I'd move to a locale where I could live comfortably without needing a lot of money. The Philippines seems like a promising option, where I could start my own legitimate businesses and live on my own terms, free from financial limitations.

          1. No, I would rather stay anonymous instead of endangering myself by doing that because I would know that there will always be haters among the lovers.

          2. Yes if I could do it completely anonymously without the fear of revealing any clue that could lead the world to me, even the IP address.

          3. Maybe, but again, only if I could do it without showing my identity or location.

          4. Maybe, maybe not.

I think you will need a cautious plan to be able to sell your BTC without affecting the BTC Price and the entire Crypto market, while maintaining the very good anonymous that Satoshi has tried to preserve for many years.

In addition, you also need to educate your children to understand your vision, and the value that anonymous can bring to them and the crypto market. If you want to be anonymous for safety, you definitely want your children to do the same.

          6. Of course, but only if I could because death doesn't always give you time to do things you've planned.
I think there is no difficulty to reveal my identity to my children, perhaps they just need to know the true identity and know how to keep that secret as part of the family history that only the head will know this truth. Perhaps they do not need to be trained to succeed our Bitcoin development career. If they want, they can find out on Bitcoin.org easily and join the Bitcoin Dev community to improve their own skills and vision.

There are some of the most weird questions in you list. The top 3 questions are not suited to the character Satoshi build before becoming completely anonymous. The last question is personal and since he is not known publicly we won't know whether he has a family or not with kids. Creating such topics on an altcoin board which discusses cryptocurrencies and not Bitcoin doesn't make any sense. Asking some wierd questions suggest you might jave been out blown by Bitcoin's simplicity and it's ability to survive so long.

Appearing in public will attract countless questions and the media will manipulate whatever you say to them and use it for their own advantage if they are one of those hostile against bitcoins, then they will just simply ask you about Bitcoin's disadvantages and highlight it on their front page to cause confusions to the people who want and already investors of bitcoins. Therefore, staying anonymous is the best thing he can do and no matter what they try to manipulate their audiences regarding bitcoins, it does not have any impact since they are just speculating as well without any solid evidence.

In my own opinion, I believe Satoshi took the best decision to stay anonymous until now. Because that anonymity has been the pillar that holds Bitcoin network from the influence of the government. Majority of the government don't like cryptocurrency at large, so assuming Satoshi did all those things in the question the op asked, by now he would have been assassinated or jailed for any reason they come up with. Hence I am saying if I were to be Satoshi, I would have done the same thing in keeping my identity anonymous from the public.

Firstly, I think Satoshi did the best thing by not revealing himself to anyone and by keeping the forum very active to me this is the best thing has has done so far. Now back to the question of the op, question number6 caught my attention so I would like to make my honest contribution. There's no way I will be running an organization without introducing my children to what I do so if I was Satoshi, I would not just reveal my secret to my children when am about to go to the other world I will reveal my secret to them when am still strong and healthy, teach them the things they need to do while am here and when am gone, hand over my business to them so they will master it before i will be gone.

Everyone have their different reasons for making a personal decision and if we actually had the chance to speak with Satoshi, he would definitely have different reasons for staying anonymous and not wanting to join discussions about bitcoin. Question one, my answer will be no and my reasons are, I consider staying anonymous for my safety and besides observing the growth with the anonymous pattern is the best. Participating in development discussions still requires revealing your identity, if he should reveal the secret is a personal choice and I will do so cause during that time the information is irrelevant but it seems his children will inherit the respect, even if Satoshi reveal such secret to his children I'm sure his children will not disclose such information to the media or anyone.

          1. No, because remaining anonymous will make my life feel calm and peaceful with my beloved family.

          2. Yes, and I will sell it so that I can enjoy it with my family for seven generations and I will also build a place of worship and I will name that place of worship Satoshi Nakamoto. And besides that, I also want to share it with people who need it, so that I can feel peace when I live and also when I die.

          3. No, I think that's enough and I hope there are other people like me, because this answer is the same as answer number 1.

          4. No, and this answer is the same as number 1, if I follow it it means I am no longer anonymous.

          5. Yes, I will remain anonymous and maybe I can just monitor it without having to do it.

          6. No, I won't reveal it to them but I will share my good fortune with them, and let them find out for themselves and it will be a beautiful story when they find out after I die.

And my answer remains consistent with anonymity, and the same as what I wrote for you.

If I were Satoshi Nakamatu I would prefer to remain anonymous and never reveal my identity. Nevertheless, my dedication to advancing Block Chain technology for the betterment of humanity would persist. Regrading the Bitcoins in my possession, I would choose to sell a portion, and use the proceed to establishing a welfare program aimed at combating disease and poverty in developing nations.

Satoshi Nakamoto is a famous figure in the crypto market, and perhaps worldwide at the moment, because he created Bitcoin - the first crypto and opened the blockchain & crypto era. There have been many searches for Satoshi's true identity but no one has been successful. Nice question bro, haven't thought of any of thos before, if I were satoshi I definitely would think staying out of spotlight would be a very good thing for me, cause I don't want the extra attention from the government and all that and who knows what hidden charges thay might have against him already just waiting for him to pop up.

It's do temping to sell those 1 million bitcoin but who knows I might sell a little to flex a bit, but you know we can't be satoshi and what is damp holding him from becoming the richest man in the world or maybe he kept them for his children, or he is waiting for bitcoin to reach 500k or maybe a million dollar and them becomes the next richest man in the world.

I'll definitely not want to be actively involved to market bitcoin cause I'll probably be in retirement by now and would be chilling with some nice Indian or Asian Mexican girl on a yacht right now 😁, but I won't because it might raise some suspicion.

I guess since I'm not planning to revel my identity I won't go to el salvador.

I would definitely tell my children, but if I am anonymous then I have to be to my family too, they could spill the bean, so I'll find a way to tell them maybe by will or after my death, but that's Lane my lawyer could just be a rebel and claim my 1m bitcoin for himself.

No I will not appear and the anonymous nature of Satoshi Nakamoto is making bitcoin very strong therefore I will not dare to come out. I will not sell my 1M BTC to USD instead I will use it to buy things as bitcoin. The way bitcoin is, is okay so there is no need for any upgrading. Let it be like this. Yes I will go and see how they are doing and using BTC in the country of El Salvador and revive the economy with BTC and any other country that have accepted BTC like Central Africa Republic. If my identity has not been known then it is better to stay anonymous. Yes I will show the the secret but remember I didn't invent bitcoin alone.

There are many claims of people that they are Satoshi Nakamoto but all are false. As you said, they have to sign a message here in the forum and move coins from the Genesis Block.

I don't have to think I'll like it or if I'm already in Satoshi's position. because I'm still an ordinary person who might make a mistake when I see the success that Bitcoin is currently bringing.
not just Satoshi, but anyone who has large enough crypto assets. try to remain anonymous. it will be good for our comfort.

let's say real Satoshi comes out. satoshi doing any of these questions will affect the crypto market. satoshi sending a single satoshi from his wallet will plummet BTC price and right there and then, he can never hide ever again. people will be following him wherever he goes.

the moment he sends BTC, Bitcoin will not be decentralized anymore and that's what it takes to make the coin no different from other altcoins.

Satoshi Nakamoto have decided to keep himself discreet, he's not aiming at any other thing but innovating new projects to the space, he keeps doing the wonders of the current day market and he knows how to control the market connecting the investors and traders. He knows everyone that's in the space is keen on making double of their initial deposits, more reason we have the profits and losses. Satoshi is already overhyped in the system and any project that have been become trends in the market doesn't end up forming the green long candles in the space.

If I were to be Satoshi, I would definitely continue to stay anonymous, and I won't sell my 1 million + bitcoin for usd, since doing so means I am giving usd more power over my own invention - bitcoin, when the inventor or bitcoin is not holding any bitcoin, what do you expect the community to do, selling all my bitcoina simply means I no longer have trust and believe in what I built, and this move may trigger a major sell off of bitcoin by big holders, which may drastically affect the price of bitcoin and possibly crumble it.

And again, I won't accept any invitation from any country, staying anonymous should mean staying anonymous, I will absolutely nothing to reveal true identity to the public, though I will sure come around and from time to time, have a chat with the bitcoin community, like on this forum, I will also actively participate in the development and growth of bitcoin, but no body will ever know who I am.

And yes, before I die, I will reveal all to my children, but ask them to keep what ever I tell them a secret, for their own safety.

We all know that Satoshi's anonymity is important for the fate of BTC: BTC is not controlled by anyone, the fate of BTC does not depend on any independent individual. Satoshi chose to remain anonymous and disappear to protect the future of BTC. I think Satoshi will not suddenly appear to have a negative impact on his brainchild, BTC.

I think you will need to focus on educating your children about the importance of anonymity, and to be safe from the scrutiny and surveillance of the greedy, your children should never reveal that their parent is Satoshi, who may be holding 1M BTC = 62B USD  ;D

          1) i would like to keep my indentity secret. And 2) will sell everything is i found my family members aren't capable to handle my assets, otherwise don't need to sell. 3) Then yeah I'll keep take part to develop & upgrade process of btc blockchain. 4) No invitation, 5) cause i opt out to make my identity secret. And i already answered the last question. 6) i have to reveal. Otherwise who'll take the responsibility after me? Or maybe I'll give my assets to someone who are capable enough.

I will be anonymous through out the journey, because that is what is making BTC to continue dominating in the world today, and assume Satoshi Nakamoto make his identity public to the whole world, maybe his family members would have be among the people that would have betray him by exposing all his secrets to the world.

I will make BTC permanent by printing more BTC to be in circulation, like centralized currency which is a permanent currency to the government because they are in charge of the currency, and they have the power to print more money to be in circulation.

Any country that make it legal tender will have some benefit the country will be enjoying from BTC than others who don't make it legal tender, and it will make many countries that ban BTC to unbanned it.

you have to consider the consequences when you answer yes to revealing yourself. remember that all criminals including the government will want to get much from satoshi's wallet.

the criminal will kidnap everyone from your bro and sisi and your sons and daughters including your nana threatening to sell their cochie on the black-market if you don't send 1M BTC as ransom. and the government will also surround your house with the IRS agent and then compute everything from unrealized gains to profits.  ;D

          1. I wouldn’t dare appear in public. Not a good idea in any way.
          2. If Satoshi chooses to sell 1M Bitcoin, I don’t see a problem with that in the sense that they created it for decentralization purposes so it doesn’t kill the reason why it was built (even if it’ll cause FUD for holders).
          3. What if they are participating in secret? I’m not sure programmers easily give up their own code.
          4. I wouldn’t accept anything from anywhere. Safety first.
          5. Definitely, what’s better if not that?
          6. This is a tricky one because having to hide it from them their whole lives isn’t good (even if you tell them eventually). But then, it’s also risky to tell them because what if they are teenagers and teenagers can be chatty about stuff. For their safety, I’d rather not tell them, not until they are proper adults and understand the consequences of revealing such identity.

Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin to be anonymity therefore he has to be anonymity as well because if he shows himself then the US government will arrest him and ask him to destroy bitcoin. And they will be different accusations on him and the one they will use to against him is the money laundering. Which is the back bone of the US government to accuse any privacy company in the cryptocurrency ecosystem to ban them and we have seen it from the mixers perspective.
Moving but bitcoin is not the problem of the matter, he can move bitcoin past anytime of his choice. How many bitcoins are the Satoshi Nakamoto Genesis bitcoin address? Did you know the amount? I don't think they are not much. And I also think the main address he is using is different from that first address. I believed even now too he is going to El Salvador bitcoin conferences.
Yes anonymity is the number one identity in the ecosystem. And to my children I will but depends on the age they are.

Yes that's right. This question makes us imagine ourselves as Satoshi Nakamoto. But what is clear is that if I were in Satoshi's position, I would still keep my real identity a secret because this is very life-threatening because we know that the real purpose of bitcoin is to fight fiat currency which is always enslaved by communities and countries. I will not sell the bitcoins that I have because bitcoins are for future assets, and will remain anonymous to observe the development of bitcoin because in principle bitcoin is anonymous.

Of course, all Bitcoin assets will be passed on to children, this is necessary because without passing them on to children, the assets we own cannot be accessed if something happens to us. Inheriting bitcoin assets is as important as inheriting other wealth, this is an obligation as parents.

Everyone acquainted with the crypto space have sometimes wished themselves to be Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous founder of bitcoin and he has not been traced till this current day, shocking right? If I happen to be Satoshi Nakamoto, I stay anonymous inother to avoid a whole set of dramatic events that would be happening, firstly I would be seen as a threat and enemy by most countries because their government believes that the existence of bitcoin is to surpassed all fiat currency in the world and their ultimate target will be to bring me down and I've been encountering one problem or moving from one court to another based on lawsuits from top companies and influential men who have carelessly liquidated their huge funded portfolio. Just stay mute and take good care of my family which will also not be awared of me as founder of bitcoin, amazing idea it is.

Yes. True, if we tell the truth we will become prisoners of criminals and will be forced to release all our assets if we do not want the safety of family members to be threatened. That's why until now the creator of BTC is still silent and closes himself to the ends of his hair.

Let alone BTC, small objects that are considered valuable are also their target, if BTC is very fantastic, just 1 BTC is good, calm down to live for 2 months without having to work and sleep. ;D ;D.

Nice jokes @electronicash ;D ;D and its funny stories but if we look at the scene it will be like what you said above. In addition, if we read about incidents like the one you told us, it has happened with a heart-wrenching ending, and that's what will happen if we are too evoria to our valuable assets like BTC that you exemplified.

Threats also do not come tangibly, intangibly also always present especially if we store passwords online on the exchange on our investment accounts.

I wouldn't want to appear in public, that is a sure thing answer, but I do not know how I would say no to 1 million bitcoins. However that poses itself another question, I mean let's be honest, if someone wanted to sell the whole million, they can't do it now, it would both mean that you would have to show yourself, it would also mean crashing the market like no other, and it would also get you hate that nobody else would, even death threats, there would be crazy people who would try to steal it from you and MANY other issues.

This is why most of the lottery winners end up with getting broke again after a while, it takes a bit of a time and we should probably see satoshi staying away because of that. He knows it is not a smart move.

          • Would you dare to appear in public?
If I'm Satoshi Nakamoto I wouldn't dare to reveal my identity to the public for security purposes. Not only for security purposes,we all know that the government is against Bitcoin because they think that Bitcoin would replace the traditional currency so how much more if they are against the currency they won't go after the life of inventor if he dare reveals himself to the public.
          • Would you move 1M BTC and sell for USD?
          Definitely yes I would
          • Would you participate in the development and upgrade process of Bitcoin blockchain?
No I won't because it's has always been the reason for being anonymous.
          • Would you agree to accept the invitation to El Salvador?
No I won't, although El Salvador has adopted the use of Bitcoin as a means of transaction and have been friendly with cyptro transaction but I won't accept the invitation.
          • Wouldl you continue to stay anonymous and observe the development of Bitcoin?
Yes I would continue to remain anonymous and watch every development of Bitcoin.
          • Would you reveal this secret to your children before you die?
Yes I would because it will be so selfish of me not to reveal it to my children before my dismissal.Bitcoin is an asset that can be transferred to your heir so I will reveal it to my children.

Indeed, If I'm Satoshi, I will also hide this identity until the end of my life. Too risky to reveal it to the world, even to our clsoed family. Better to keep the privacy. This is not only about how great we are as Satoshi to be well known in the world, but it is also about security, privacy, comfort life, and more otehrs. So, when I will probably get worse condition when revealing the identity, why should do it? Better to keep it as secret until the end, right?  ;D ;D

Honestly, even if I'm going to die, I will keep this secret and not telling even my children. why?
because we won't know after dying, what will happen to my family then. And if my children or even closed family tell it to other people and the other people will tell it also to many other people, this will exactly danger their life, danger my children, and my family. That is why, it is enough to teach them about Bitcoin and more knowledge about crypto and how to utilize it, and also about the wallets and its assets, but not telling the secret of being Satoshi.

There is really no discussion about being back, because if you are gone then you are gone, coming back at this point would be the stupidest thing he could do and makes no sense at all.

I personally believe that the best thing we could do regarding this topic would be just focusing on how to get better at something else. Satoshi, creating something like this, means that he is either actually gone, like literally he is dead, or he is working on something else because a mind that is smart enough to create bitcoin, would be smart enough to know how to cut all his ties, like not even be able to come back if he wants to. That is why I think it is quite important to know that you are not going to come back, and would work on something else.

If I were Satoshi Nakamoto, and I've stayed anonymous until now, I wouldn't surface, because the welcome party have become tired of waiting and there'll be no red carpet waiting to receive him. He's better off remaining anonymous and let his famed legendary to continue, he created Bitcoin, that promotes privacy and decentralization, and he's living the example of it, never interfering with the dev. team.

As for the BTC in his wallet, it'll be a shame to let it go to waste, I'd have loved for it to be giving to charity, since he's perhaps too rich that he doesn't need it. On second thought, if the BTC is moved, then perhaps it could be traced, and by chance his identity can be revealed.
