Title: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret
Post by: The Cryptovator on March 01, 2024, 09:22:14 PM
If we see the history of Bitcoin, then it's pretty easy to see how Bitcoin recovered its price. It would take time to recover, but eventually it did. So at the end of the day, holders don't need to be regretful. I am talking about Bitcoin, not about any other altcoin. Because even though the Bitcoin price has recovered, many altcoins haven't recovered yet. Even those who bought Bitcoin at the top in the last bull run, I believe they are almost recovered. If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.

I agree with that, bitcoin has redress many times and has proven its capacity to recover to any price whenever you feel that the market has moved against you as an investor or holder, all that is needed is the patience to wait for some time before you see that Bitcoin has recovered and achieved your desired price.
This is the reason why I always tell those who think that they have missed out on anything as regards to Bitcoin and are feeling that they are already late to join the Bitcoin holders fold, because, bitcoin will always have a way to reward everyone who endeavours to be patience and wait for long term base instead of giving up at current point if the price of Bitcoin may not be to the advantage.

The only set of people that are ever going to lose in this bitcoin game are those who sell when the time is not yet right. I mean, those who bought at a high price, but due to market conditions, out of fear, they sold out their holdings and ended up recording losses.

No matter how much one ends up buying bitcoin, it's never going to lead to regrets. As long as the person in question bought the bitcoin with a small amount of his assets and can hold it for a very long period of time, they will eventually reap the fruit of their holdings. It's just a matter of time, which might seem to be taking forever, but with time they will gradually get to when they will take profit from their holdings.

Yeah that's true and this is what what actually clears it from the others because Bitcoin unlike the others always have the reputation to get back to the actual price it once was and even beating that price to set a new one everytime and this is why HODLERS for sure will never regret their actions of chosing to keep Bitcoin despite all the twist and turns it might have involved itself.

The bull season is here and many HODLers will definitely be smiling that's if you are holding Bitcoin in particular because like you said not all the coins recover so greatly like Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will gain higher returns if you hold it for long term, simply because bitcoin is indeed for long term. However, hodling may not be as easy as others may imagined like you just want to invest and decide to hold it forever with no plans to sell. There are always inevitable temptations in the market and if you are weak, you will easily fall on the market’s trap and end up selling earlier.

Fears and doubts are common for hodlers most particularly for those who have never experienced risk management. This is the reason why one should study its investment first before trying to indulge in it. So that there will be no regretting in the process, and you just stick to your plan and goal which is to invest and hold and reap massive profits when the perfect time comes.

I completely agree, Ive always emphasized on the fact that holding is stil way better, easier and more profitable than trading, the only sacrifice required in holding is...
1. Hold the right coin, which in this case is alway bitcoin.
2. Be patient and do not panic, no matter what happens or no matter how down the market will go, for the market will definitely test everyone's level of patience, will try to make us panic, so that we sale at loss and close our positions, but like it's often said that if we can't bear bitcoin -20% or more, then we do not deserve bitcoin's +200 and even more.

Hold is always gold as long as what we hold is bitcoin, for times and times again, bitcoin has proven we never can be wrong in choosing to hodl it.

I don't know why I normally feel even more secure, matterless of the things I've seen on the web, social media platforms etc... maybe for the fact that some meniacs won't just wanna back down so they won't be called "cowards" for not piloting the FUD anymore?.. or what exactly? Cus I rarely see them taunting anyone that supports BTC this days.. and yes ofcourse, most of this maniacs are also HODLers ..shocking right?

"I was running through my cell phone few days ago and I got the update - a mail was sent and an attachment too - about the increase in price of BTC.. 61k is just enough to harvest as much interest as you can folks!!

Bitcoin investment is the best to hold in the cryptocurrency market, because the price of Bitcoin keep appreciating from time to time, especially every four years of Bitcoin halving circle, there will be new all time high for Bitcoin, which is required patience to hold, for a long time investment profits return.

The fact that you chose bitcoin over altcoins and shitcoins, that thought alone is not regrettable at all. Just  patiently hold your bitcoin and never be attracted to FUDs and FOMO in the market so you won’t end up losing your future profits. Bitcoin is for long term while altcoins are for short term, if you internalized this, you will never regretting hodling bitcoin. But set your target selling price of course so you won’t stay hodling for the rest of your life.

If we are talking about holding Bitcoin for a long term then it's just a waiting game for most of us. Let's see who's holding patiently for longer time than other people, unless you need urgent money then it's different story. Stuff like sudden crash or price bubble is mostly happened really often and the reactions for some traders are really varies. If you know the nature of Bitcoin, then you should know what to do. Wait patiently until you reach your goal.

You will find more people who invested in altcoins complaining about losses from hodling than any investor in Bitcoin who has been hodling his or her bitcoins. Due to the recovery rate of bitcoins even when the price and value of Bitcoin drops lower than the purchase price of the investor there is no need to panic because many times and again the volatility of Bitcoin has proven that bitcoin can recover and even get to values that hodlers may never expect. Bitcoin is reliable to hodl.

Right. Bitcoin's like the OG survivor, bouncing back from crashes and teaching us some lessons. But not all altcoins are on the same recovery train. Diversifying your crypto stash could save you from a rollercoaster ride and the key takeaway is learn from Bitcoin's wild moves and stay savvy in the crypto game

Facts! not all altcoins are able to keep up with the recovery like what is happening with bitcoin, the others completely lost their value and were just ignored that's why we can really say that bitcoin is the only really strong coin, for what else and it is called the mother of altcoins . The movement of the value of altcoins is also based on the value of bitcoin, so it should be led by bitcoin.

When I never understood the price movement and history of bitcoin, there is usually this fear I used to feel when price of bitcoin gets so low. I am sure some people following this discussion also felt that way at some point in their bitcoin journey. Little did I know that bitcoin always recovers irrespective of how low it goes. Well now I know better!

My approach and view of bitcoin have remarkably improved now because the anxiety in bar market no longer exist as I see same as a time to buy and hold because of the conviction that bitcoin will always recover. Adopting the DCA method helped a lot because it enabled me to by buying bitcoin with small proportion of my money regularly such that I do not feel any form of pressure to recover my investment.

You're Very correct. This is why I've also asked those who wants to purchase and accumulate more of bitcoins but because of the appreciative rate of the bitcoin in the industry, they feared that they may buy on a higher price and still wouldn't make interest due to the close range to the bull run.
I've always asked them to ignore fears and go forth to buy at now and there would be every considerations to make profits hence we're still in halving and the bull run is yet to but still the current price of Bitcoin is like dominantly at its ATH while it is null.

You are right, Bitcoin is going to prove, if one has invested the highest value in a bull market. If he patiently holds for a long time, he will surely profit. We will see the real proof of that soon. Those who believe in Bitcoin try to invest at any moment. Investors don't regret, at the end of the day it's those who don't invest who regret. However, currently Bitcoin is around $62k, those who haven't invested should invest.

And I will also make an answer for Bitcoin only. And what you say is true because the traces are like that, and it applies to those who are experienced or who assess or read Bitcoin's movements well, that after a decline, Bitcoin always recovers. And the key is to be patient and calm in waiting for this moment, even though it will take a long time for your capital to return and you will not lose money when selling when prices fall due to panic.
And even Bitcoin will not only recover but will surpass the highest price of the previous purchase price if you are more patient, and create good even big profits.

Hodlers will always be rewarded in the end. But it isn't easy to develop diamond hands, precisely the kind of hands that hodlers need. If somebody bought Bitcoin at $65,000 in 2021, he/she needed no less than strong conviction, perseverance, deep understanding of Bitcoin, belief in it, and so on and so forth to be able to keep hodling through the years and in the face of extreme corrections and bear seasons.

It isn't psychologically and emotionally easy for somebody to have bought at the ATH in 2021 and be able to stick to hodling despite the price continuously falling down, even reaching as low as $15,000. But once you survived and get over it, things would be a lot easier. You'd even grow indifferent to bear markets. You'd learn not to mind them anymore, not to give a damn about those short-term price fluctuations.

The problem is that the circumstances of people don't allow them to be hodlers for a really long time, some of those people have their emergency money invested as bitcoin so when there's an emergency that's happened to them, they all end up having to make the choice of losing their hodling streak because that's the emergency money that they've prepared for, some people just can't really hodl that long and there's going to times that you're tempted to sell a part of your hodl because you've profited a lot already so you lie to yourself that it's not that bad that you're selling some but it defeats the purpose of long-term hodling if you take a chunk of it every now and then. I think that the problem that's been presented is a thing of the past or that there's not a lot of people that's not learning from the past and the history of bitcoin, 3 ATHs is probably enough lesson for many to still not believe in bitcoin or to think that bitcoin is going to never see a new ATH soon.

Bitcoin always recovers from its bear markets and after rally, it makes a new all time high. I believe we will see a new all time high for Bitcoin very soon. Maybe Bitcoin will make it before a halving in April or after the halving. Historically Bitcoin only makes its new all time high months after halving but will we see a first time, it happens before a halving?

I have never witnessed a bull run before and I don’t know how the price moves during a bull run but experiencing this rapid increase in such a short period have increased my belief and confidence that bitcoin will definitely go beyond the ATH price in a few months or weeks hopefully. This is the period where holders will benefit and their long awaited bull run seems to have kicked off, we don’t know how long it would last but it is predicted to reach a new ATH.

Those who bought during the bear market will surely make more profit than people who bought due to fear of missing out during the last bull run at a higher price, if a new ATH is is reached soon they will be also be in profit, this is the reason why it is advisable to buy when the price is low so as to be able get more profits because no matter how low it falls in price the price will always bounce back.

By now Bitcoin holder should be able to know that online wallets and custodial wallets are not the best options to store their bitcoins as it is exposed to hack and theft. This is not a thread about wallet choice and it’s security but it is worth reminding those who might lack the knowledge about best wallet choice when holding for a long time to safeguard their assets.

This becomes relevant now that we are only 10% or $6K away from ATH. Virtually everyone is in profit now. Only those who bought in around $63K-$69K and bought nothing else when it went down would be at a loss now, and those, if any, are a minuscule percentage.  Just be patient in the bear markets and better if it is accumulating with DCA.

Yes price recovered each time but in hindsight you would of never known that. I was around since the 2013 top and the bear markets were all brutal.

In 2015 the market was going nowhere. Price barely moved on the chart. It was stuck at $200 a coin. People gave up over boredom most likely.

2018 was brutal when we broke the $6k and lost half of that value all the way down to $3000. Many were on leverage and got liquidated quick.

2020 was the Covid crash, we assumed the world would end and dumped bitcoins at $3K.

Then 2022 was the Ftx scam and how we were about to break $15K or so.

These were all stressful events and many just sold and got out of crypto. If you held on, then congrats.

We know that any investment is risky. However, some changes have been noticed in the case of Bitcoin. Bitcoin has always created a win-win situation for those who are determined to realize their long-term goals by investing in Bitcoin. Since its discovery in 2009, many people have made huge profits from Bitcoin and there are many who have lost their money due to misconceptions about it. Those who have held Bitcoin since 2009 are not harmed. Even those who bought and held Bitcoin at the highest price during the last bull market will soon be able to see their profits. In my opinion those who lose buy at whatever price they sell before the specified time or are forced to sell.

Bitcoin is the most volatile currency and it has bullish and bearish trend. In the long bearish market it is better to hold. However, this may not always be helpful for those looking to make a quick profit from Bitcoin.

Many investors can refer to the state of Bitcoin investors in 2017 where Bitcoin fell from $2,0000 to $3,000 in 2018. At that time, those who bought at a higher price really lost? I think they didn't all lose but those who didn't hold their bitcoins out of desperation at the time the price went down actually they lost.

You are actually right on this sir, Bitcoin has practically behaved like a fine 🍷 wine over the years, because it gets better with age, the most important thing i love most about Bitcoin is thanks it always rally his way back to the top even when their is a sharp decline in price, but it has proven trust worthy of an investment to all investors that stick to it and hold, regardless of how deep the price falls to, I believe that Bitcoin will always be  a trusted asset to hold onto now, and in the future.

Indeed, many people think investing in bitcoin is quite easy, just buy and hold long enough and you will definitely make a profit. But how many people have done that? We've heard stories about people getting rich by investing in bitcoin, but have we met someone in person or just heard it from other people? The journey of buying and holding bitcoin until it becomes profitable is an extremely difficult and strenuous journey. We face Fud, scams, government bans in some countries that still ban bitcoin...countless challenges we need to overcome in our journey to holding bitcoin. In my opinion, holding bitcoin is not as easy as many say and for those who can overcome those challenges, they deserve to be rewarded.

That is true because we are still way early into bitcoin as it has a long way to go.
But we must also acknowledge the fact that no asset goes in one direction. There are always corrections happening every now and then.
We must stay strong through these price corrections and be capable to hold our bitcoins and only then we can gain the profits when it soars high.

The same thing will happen when the next peak is in, many are going to buy at the top and will have to hold again for a certain period of time if they miss the entire run. But I think time after time, the market is getting better and as exact as Bitcoin, time of recovery is becoming lesser yet quicker.

It's true that Bitcoin don't disappoint the holders. I myself have been holding for so long and never did I have any single moment that I held but there were times that I've sold then I regret. And that's for sure the experience of the majority when we want to hold some more.

If you have faith and believe in Bitcoin, you'll not panic, you'll hold and you'll be patient at most times because this is the greatest asset we ever had on this era that we live on.

Believ, understand Bitcoin inside and out, admit that the system has been proven during several halving and we will not worry when the bear market comes because the goal is not a profit of one or two months. Bitcoin does not need to prove to anyone its price in the future but eventually it will go through a cycle where people and institutions recognize its existence and value. Not a few people have seen these benefits today, including me, who has only been doing DCA for about 2 years. Now, as we get closer to the halving, I think as a small holder I will certainly take part of this profit and start over by maximizing my investment more than the previous year.

Being the number one cryptocurrency, all eyes are on Bitcoin and people are ever ready to take their slice of that world cake. I knew Bitcoin a few years after its creation, but sadly and regrettably, I never participated in the investment until 2022. I must confess that it pains me till now because if I had started the investment around $500 for example, you know what I would have been making money now. All I did then was use Bitcoin to move money in and out of companies that I was dealing with. Whenever I go back to see the amount I had moved within that time, it pains me the more because by now, I would have been worth so much in Bitcoin.

Well, it is not too late for anybody, especially those who are good in trading/investment and speculation before the cryptocurrency era. This is the benefit I am enjoying now, and from 2022, I've tried my bit when it comes to cryptocurrency trading and investment with comfortable returns. I hope for the best even as I shine my beam more on it these days since this is the bullish season of the crypto space. During this time, most people can't go wrong when they buy crypto assets even with the slightest reading of the chart through the price action.

But the issue is that people should know when to invest and divest in Bitcoin and others, if not, the huge money they've made could turn back to little or even amount to losses due to the bearish season of the coin. Cryptocurrency works in cycles, so we should be careful about this. Also, Ethereum is such an altcoin no one can undermine, it has done so well, and very soon, I am sure it will hit its ATH even as Bitcoin is also close as well.

You said it all, only few people are still in loss especially those who jumped in during the peak of 2021. But I can assure you that majority of them have sold at loss because they bought the hype and not because they were convinced that Bitcoin was for them. In addition, buying the hype means that they invested what they cannot afford to keep for long and in loss, so they only option was to count their losses. I came to this conclusion because I have actually seen many people who complained about losing money to Bitcoin back then.

The only exception to those who bought the hype of 2021 will be those using the DCA method like you rightly said. However, if they started applying the DCA method before the last bull run and continued unto this present bull run, then their entire portfolio would have been in good profits by now.

I wish people have same perspective even post bull run because we have often seen people losing faith in Bitcoin once the bull run is over and they eventually call things like Bitcoin is bubble, end of Bitcoin and etc. I have always believed in Bitcoin ad it has proved time and again that investors will not be in loss but the only requirement is you need to have patience and shouldn't cashout due to FUDS. I used to be the one to get panic earlier and sell it off but then I limited myself not to withdraw when the value of Bitcoin is lesser than what it was when it bough and medical or other emergency being an exception. Now since I have started DCA everything has been on track as my portfolio is balanced as I have purchased on regular intervals with market value being on both side of the chart.

You are right, Bitcoin has proved many times and still proves that it's going to rise and it will always surpass its all-time high price. Since 2021, I always think about one Redditor who sold his house and bought Bitcoin in 2017 when the price reached 20K USD. I remember how that Redditor felt hopeless when the price started declining, he thought everything was over and Bitcoin was never going to rise again and he lost his house but then in 2021 Bitcoin reached 69K USD and now, there is an upcoming halving. We have never seen such a high price before halving, it's almost reaching its ATH before halving, this will be a new thing in recent Bitcoin history. It's never late to buy Bitcoin, it's always going to prove people wrong.

I agree that this has been going on for 15 years now, so it's not irresponsible to rely on historic data and Bitcoin always recovering in the past to predict the future. However, we must always remember that there can easily come a bear market from which Bitcoin never recovers, never returns to its former glory. We don't know when it can happen, and I think we're safe for at least a few ore cycles, but it's always a possibility. That might be what stops other people and makes them sell, even at a loss: they simply aren't sure Bitcoin will recover this time like it did in the past.

Bitcoin can't maintain this growth rate forever, simply because it would make it unrealistically expensive. This current trend will end sooner or later, and the new trend might not be so forgiving - it could be that Bitcoin will harshly correct and won't recover for decades.

Also the previous performance could be attributed to the effects of halvenings, but we already entered the stage where halvenings matter less and less.

That's why it's advisable, if you want to hold bitcoin go for knowledge and stay informed about bitcoin. Bitcoin moves in cycles with ups and down, Bitcoin falls in price and recovers not just that alone but bitcoin surge and set new highs from its previous this is why bitcoin is so significant from altcoins, most altcoins struggle to recover some even are no more. Bitcoin has shown resilience over time. Holding Bitcoin for a long term has proven to be rewarding, so as a bitcoin holder there is no need to regret there are many lessons bitcoin has thought us over time even those that invested at high rate there is more opportunities and chances to make profit by end of the year.

"The ones who win in the end are those who hold" are the most appropriate words for Bitcoin holders. Because many people are badmouthing and even saying that it will be very difficult for Bitcoin to return to its ATH, but what is happening now is that we are only 3k away from ATH, and it will be very possible to achieve it in the next few weeks. This teaches us that, all you need to make a profit/recover your losses is just to hold Bitcoin and invest regularly in it. If you are consistent then it will be very possible for you to get the best things from Bitcoin.

It is really exciting to see the Bitcoin price bouncing back. I have never experienced Bitcoin moving rapidly like this before because I have not had a bull run; in fact,  halving occurred, and the price of Bitcoin is about to reach its all-time high of $69k,so it is clear that if halving occurs, we should be expecting a more significant increase in the bitcoin price. A lot of Bitcoin holders who bought early will be very happy because they will be in profit now.

P/S: Don't hold your bitcoins in online accounts.
Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5421039.0)

It's crucial for all Bitcoin holders to understand the risks associated with leaving their cryptocurrency on exchanges. When we entrust our Bitcoin to exchanges, we're essentially relinquishing full control over our assets. If the exchange were to face any issues, such as a security breach or collapse, our Bitcoin could be lost irretrievably. Therefore, it's prudent to opt for non-custodial wallets, where we retain sole ownership and control over our Bitcoin.By utilizing non-custodial wallets, we can significantly mitigate the risk of losing our cryptocurrency to unforeseen circumstances. It's imperative for every Bitcoin holder to prioritize the security and safety of their assets by opting for secure storage solutions like non-custodial wallets.

Investing in bitcoin is a game of patience. Those who are impatient will always lose money and those who have the guts to hold on for a long time will be rewarded. It's like doubling your money every 3 years with the way bitcoin's price move, and it's not bad if you ask me. You can't name any other traditional investment out there that could double your money in such a short span of time. Plus, there are tons of opportunities to increase your profits during that time period, and it's dependent on the way you play your cards.

The best 'strategy' that I found out so far is to try to be on high alert during the highs of bitcoin and sell it when the price is going down. Buy after a couple of months when the price is at its 'lowest' or after the market has shifted its interest elsewhere and build from there. Apply DCA and hold for the next three or four years and you have doubled your money, congratulations.

This lesson is simple - don't touch altcoins, if you want to save your money. Altcoins not only didn't recover, but many fell even more in price, until bitcoin practically returned to the previous ATH.

The sad thing is that only those investors, who once went broke with an altcoins can learn this lesson.

Regret is the fate of altcoin holders. The longer, the more regrets.

What you say is very true, those who have believed in Bitcoin will really believe in the existence of Bitcoin which gives them benefits from holding Bitcoin. There are many people who can benefit from holding Bitcoin for a long period of time, of course we have to continue to maximize investment because like what you said is that we are getting closer to half and you will be able to enjoy the benefits of the DCA that you have done.

There's no doubt with that on which it is really that something that majority that been holding. It wont really be sitting on #1 spot for too long or decade+ if there was no sold community support and recognition.

We do know somehow that not all would really be having that long patience and having that self control when it comes into their holdings on which only a few or really that could be count by my fingers
that are the ones who are really that be able to hold up for long term or into those people who had bought into the peak and been caught hanging on which it did result into couple of years been holding up
such condition on which its never been something new because people would really be able to make out decision whether holding up or would be cutting loss.

Regrets do comes up always in the end on which if you do let yourself that making out those bad decisions then you would really be able to realize that
it wasnt really that things into our mind will something that needs to be followed. There would really be adjustments that would be needing up.

Time is our friend when it comes to bitcoin. We need to be patient and take our time deciding for our coins. Yes, there are risks that comes with investing in bitcoin but on top of it all there is a high chance that your money will come back twice even more than that when you invest in bitcoin. All you need to do is check your holdings regularly and it will do its job for you. Long-term is often more recommended if it’s bitcoin you are investing in rather than short-term investments.

Those holders of bitcoin will not regret who have patience and who can hold longer without worrying about market declining. Bitcoin shows that it recover back no matter how longer it takes time but it must recover back to its higher worth but some people were in thoughts when bitcoin were reduced to 25k$ that now bitcoin will never recover back but they were wrong.

People always regret in future when they make wrong decision and buying of bitcoin is not a bad decision but if someone missed the opportunity to buy bitcoin at lower price will definitely regret.

If you don't know how to trade, then holding is for sure the safest way to invest in bitcoin, and I'm not talking only about the financial aspect but also and especially mentally and psychologically: some people lose sleep over their open margin trades, they get too nervous and can't bare with the pressure, it can actually ruin your life but many people don't get. On the other hand if you buy and hold ok, worst thing is some unrealized profit that is gone, but your bitcoins are still there.

Bitcoin has always proved to be a good investment as other currencies don't have to be afraid and there is no reason to regret long term holding gives high returns. Crypto market is volatile so take a little risk. High profit gains cannot be made without taking risks. In short term investment you will get some profit but in long term investment you will get double the amount of money invested. It will not disappear or go away bitcoin will remain with the crypto market.

No doubt you are right that those who have bought Bitcoin in a bull market are certainly a little bit afraid of what will happen. And those who bought bitcoins when the bitcoin market was down must have sold in the net, so those who bought high priced bitcoins without losing patience should be patient and take time to invest so that they don't face any losses. Patience is very important in investing in Bitcoin. Sometimes it is seen that even big investors lose patience, so we have to be patient and invest properly to get profit. Bitcoin market was rising very fast let's see how much bitcoin can rise this year current bitcoin market is above 61k. So it is expected that the Bitcoin market will rise even more in the future.

The strong hold of bitcoin lies on its potential reputation. Bitcoin is a crypto currency that is not biased with a long time holding unlike the AltCoins that can ba depreciatedly affect due to over longer time holding while bitcoin is the more you keep holding is the more appreciative values it gives you. There's absolutely no regrets or counted lost in bitcoin investment as a caused of holding over too much of time.
So I'd say nomatter how much you may have your bitcoins, just keep holding and hodl, accumulate more of you can and zero your mind from any lost potential because bitcoin is reputable to yielding incomes. Invest in bitcoin with pride.

It has been proven many times that it was worth risking rather than being ignored.
Those who are still doubtful about Bitcoin, hope they will open their eyes and see what happens, and most of all, they would take some consideration to change their minds. We don't have to wait for another bear and bull season, as we don't just waste our time but also, lose opportunities.

We ain't know until when but I believe that Bitcoin will stay long and continue to give us a profitable experience. If other people invested in this and see them improving, why we don't? In fact, this is not only for rich people but also for poor people, we all can invest as long as we want.

And this lesson will give us the chance to catch up from something we had been missing before. I mean as hodlers we already know what to do to maximize our profits with Bitcoin. Numbers of new Bitcoin millionaires will no doubt be increasing due to the fact that they don't spend so many years to study Bitcoin as an investment just like holders do in the past that regretted for what they have done to their Bitcoins.

Long term Bitcoin hodlers don't really think of the volatility that most short term hodlers are affected to I mean they are not stressing themselves with bear market to something like wait for recovery because most of them have target timeframe and specific price range to reap their profits.

As the price attempts to reach the previous all time high of 69k USD, corrections will start and prices will begin falling back if the bears get strong. Still it has once again proved the fact that holders of bitcoin will get profit no matter what happens. If you bought at 50k and was sulking about the huge losses, well now you are in profit if you sell right away.

But for the ones who get impatient, this is what happens with bitcoin - it cycles from bear to bull and you have catch the bear and release the bull to get the profit from their difference and wait it out in between.

Prices are stagnant today, changes will hit soon.

Facts! not all altcoins are able to keep up with the recovery like what is happening with bitcoin, the others completely lost their value and were just ignored that's why we can really say that bitcoin is the only really strong coin, for what else and it is called the mother of altcoins . The movement of the value of altcoins is also based on the value of bitcoin, so it should be led by bitcoin.
That’s why one need to be careful with the kind of Altcoin they invest on because most of them use hype and pump to get to the top attracting investors to invest on the high price which they can either use the investor’s liquidity provided to take their own profit and when ever the coin price drop down it never see any new ATH or even be able to reach half of where it has reach before, I have seen lot of Altcoin which where never a meme coin base on the price but after they clash and could not survive bearish market they have been dragging price and space with all this shitcoins around with lot of zero in their back as value.

Bitcoin holders know the value of the coins. They have seen Bitcoins struggling from nothing to becoming the valuable digital asset. Hence they show the trust in the coin and invest in it. I have known many Bitcoins holders and holding the coin from 2020, not only they holding, but also they regularly accumulating the coins. Now they will make the most profit after the bull run and many people will get jealous by seeing this. Everyone who have invested in Bitcoins, have never got disappointed.

I had several friends that sold before it recovered and all of them have huge regrets. I have waited for that recovery and I hoarded even though it reached a all-time-high and then I sold with the next recovery... I made almost 800% profit on those coins.  ;D

That is what the market is all about but nowadays, the risk that people will get is about their thought of buying at high prices for them when BTC seems to be at its high.

But do you consider that as a risk when btc has proven itself to have the best shape and the best asset in the world? Hodling it is the best decision that we ever done.

Sure, three or four years really isn't that long in the grand scheme of things.  But when you've got skin in the game with Bitcoin, watching and waiting for it to hit new highs can truly feel endless.  Your friends are flipping out, selling at the first sign of a dip.  You? You're clinging to those coins like a barnacle on a ships hull hoping your day will come.  And it did! 800% returns ain't too shabby.  but let's be real, it takes some serious guts (and maybe a little stubbornness) to watch your investment tank and not panic sell.  No doubt about it.  Most folks can't handle that level of pressure without having a full meltdown.

You could say the same thing about every scarce financial asset. Bitcoin didn't "recover" on it's own. The adoption from institutional investors is what is pumping the price. The last time when the BTC price was above sixty thousand dollars Tesla and other big corporations were active in the BTC adoption scene. It's actually impossible for Bitcoin to hit and stay at levels above sixty thousands dollars without the help of big institutional investors. I agree that the long term HODLers won't regret by staying loyal to BTC, but let's not ignore the fact that Bitcoin is going up mostly because of the institutional investors.

For so many times bitcoin really proves that people will not regret on their decision to hold this coin since for many times it dumps there are also many times that price recovers that's why its really good to see this as good opportunity for other to take advantage on the situation and get profit with this.

All you need to do is check your holdings regularly and it will do its job for you. Long-term is often more recommended if it’s bitcoin you are investing in rather than short-term investments.

There is a term used in Bitcoin investments, which is to invest and forget your investment, which means that one shouldn't be looking at the market very regularly if they have invested in Bitcoin for the long term. The benefit of doing this is that the investor wouldn't panic or get worried about seeing temporary or short term market dips and corrections which often make newbie investors panic sell their assets and affect the overall value of the asset when it's done in large numbers.
Though I myself wouldn't be able to make an investment and then stay away from the market, I believe this method might be useful for people who lack patience and self-control because this way, they wouldn't be selling their holdings before it's time.

Yeah many times we get carried to look less on our security and how we rely so much on custodial third party to store our bitcoin, this is the most dangerous thing to do because if your account gets locked out, you may lose all the funds in it and that will bring in alot of bad feelings because losing your bitcoin holdings most especially when you have held it for a long time and accumulates all along waiting for the right time to take profits and discovering that you do no longer have control of the funds is bad and depressing.

So we always advocate for bitcoin self custodian and being in total control, if possible hold you bitcoin in a hardware wallet such that you have total control of our money.

Depends on the fall. If it's a hard one, then the recovery might also be longer but if it's only lite, recovery will be quick as well. If the hodler is not yet used to these changes, then they may regret but this feeling can still change later on. Many altcoins are crap, so obviously they can't keep up with the pace. This is why we are advised to be very careful when investing on them. When you say top, that can also mean the highest.

So if they bought their BTC at $69k, they haven't recovered yet but I salute them for continuously holding. Even though not all are new in here, we can't help but repeat the same mistakes. Oh well, I hope this time, it will now change.

Prices are stagnant today, changes will hit soon.

The ATH of the previous bull run has been passed many times already and we're not yet in the bull market as Bitcoin halving haven't been completed. Holders are the investors that are always going to profits from Bitcoin because they'll be making profits without stressing like how traders or short term investors are always monitoring the market. Bitcoin is going to rise more as we go dip into the bull market, after the halving then the main force of the bull will be release and prices will soar higher. As a Bitcoin holder, you're never going to regret if you continue holding, regrets only come when you're not having patience and you sell your Bitcoin prematurely. Don't follow the market if you're holding and you won't have any reason to sell your Bitcoin prematurely.

Extreme price fluctuations and high volatility often make Bitcoin a risky option, but in some other cases, Bitcoin has managed to recover its price giving huge profits to investors holding it. Even though they had to be patient because Bitcoin needed time to recover, their efforts ended happily because they were able to go through various market turmoil that could test their patience.

There are several strong reasons why most investors choose long-term options and hold as much Bitcoin as they can afford. Bitcoin offers huge profit potential. The recent surge is strong proof that Bitcoin has never betrayed the trust of investors who have made it a profitable investment medium. Bitcoin dramatic soaring price has provided far greater returns than traditional investments. Bitcoin also has deflationary properties, its limited supply can help maintain the value of the asset in the long term.

You are actually right on this, Bitcoin have proven over and over again of how reliable it has been to investors, just as you rightly said, It will gradually take time, but eventually, it's going to recover and even more better than before, I am very positive that in the nearest future, the price of Bitcoin would be so high that those people that refused to invest in it will start regretting, for not trusting in it.

Those people that bought the deep and those people that accumulated it through the DCA method are at a massive profit right now, because they not just trusted in Bitcoin, but they acted by acquiring it, so cheers to them, for the profit, already made.

It is true that the price of bitcoin is increasing due to the involvement of sharks and large institutions, but what makes them have such faith in bitcoin and not in other assets ? That proves that bitcoin is truly a reliable and potential asset, so organizations have been attracted and convinced by it . So it can be said that bitcoin itself has proven itself to be a good asset and will not disappoint its holders .

But after all, bitcoin is also a financial market and is highly volatile, so buying bitcoin requires clear analysis and planning . We should not buy bitcoin at too high a price and then have to hold it for years without making a significant profit. Like the people who bought it for $69k years ago, when everyone was making huge profits, those people just broke even after 3 years of holding.

Actually it was the time that post was made, the market seemed like it would correct than rise. On the contrary it rose, crossed the old All-time-high and has now set a new record All-time-high of $73737 (<funny number eh?) and has corrected from that level back to 63k USD, a whole 10k USD drop in price.

Meaning that the selling pressure was real high when the ATH was crossed for a few days and possibly the FOMO people who bought back at the previous high of 69k dumped their coins and exit the market breathing a big sigh of relief.

this is absolutely  true. The fact that thier hasn't been a previous ATH that's equal to the current ATH goes to show that holding Bitcoin is the best way to go and will always put you in profit.

I know for some that started off as a trader and that are looking out for immediate returns, holding might not look like the best option but if you're considering making a real time futuristic investment, then their is absolutely no substitute to holding. The advantage with holding your Bitcoin till you reach a set out goal is that it gives you the ability to accumulate more Bitcoin while you're still holding and do so over regular intervals of time which will increase the quantity of your holding before you've reached your goal.

I told my friend who is holding bitcoin that it can never fail because that is its nature. If it were to fail, it would never have reached this level. Regardless of how it turns out, bitcoin holders will never regret owning it. Some people bought their coins for $20,000 but are currently worth more than $60,000. This is a huge profit because the holder has learned a lot about what he is holding. Currently, bitcoin is worth $67k, and before the price was more than that, which makes me believe that the price will continue to rise in the coming months. It's possible that some individuals believe that the price of bitcoin is declining rather than rising. However, we must keep in mind that prices have historically increased, so we shouldn't even consider the possibility that this will have a negative effect on the cryptocurrency. If someone does, it's likely because they are poor investors or are unable to hold onto their investment.

But the main problem of people which newly join the scene is they only look for its current value and happenings that's the reason on why they lose their money since a slow movement of the market either its a dump or pump it can change their decisions. Of they could just able to search the history and know some good informations to help them out strengthen their beliefs then provably that we can see a great changes on their investment decisions and they would not affected on small changes and can able to decide for their selves to hold for long term. There's really a huge advantage for them to hold their bitcoin since it can give them more good result especially if they know how to handle some stress on the market and can able to ignore any fuds that spreading around.

It's so wrong to enter into bitcoin without doing any prior research for yourself and this is the main reason why so many people get into panic and sell their bitcoin, if you you well aware of bitcoin history and how it has always recovered and have a self conviction on bitcoin, it is far easier to hold your bitcoin.

I'm just personally surprised about how such a little dip woudl cause some persons to sell their holdings, I'm like this is a normal thign and should not shake anyone but yeah peopel do what they want, another big win for bitcoin and those who held without shaking.

It can't be helped there are many people at first who want bitcoin to fall down or they are soung things in order to tarnish the image of bitcoin, even now that bitcoin already set its another ATH and also showing a very good movement in the market there are atill people who deny bitcoin and saying bad stuff about it, but the thing is no one who proves their claims that bitcoin is bad or not a good investment, and I don't think there are not enough proof about bitcoin being the most powerful crypto currency out there and the fact that bitcoin bull run is yet to come imagine the heights that bitcoin might reach in ita actual bull run and people who deny bitcoin will only regret that they didn't believe and choose bitcoin as an investment, so before its very too late you still has the chance of investing on it.

Bitcoin has already built potential and reputation throughout time so that's why people keep holding this coin and people trust it for the long term, like now the halving is now tons of investors again having earnings with the market, and some coins surely will pump and get the ride with the bitcoin but of course they will not last long if their mechanism doesn't work as like the BTC and gets oversupply they can make a pump because of the number of holders and there's no active market activity. Base on my years of experience,  i keep trusting BTC

Bitcoin has really proving itself that it is not to disappoint anyone but to buy hope to the hopeless. Bitcoin even surprised all in the forum and outside the forum because all our predictions are after the halving in April before the Bull Market will start and from the Bull Run bitcoin will hit the All Time High but ironically bitcoin has hitting the All Time High before the halving so after the halving the expectation of bitcoin now is to hit the second all time high in the history of bitcoin. And the second All Time High will be $100+k before it will go back to the bear market again.

So those who are buying now will still make profit from the cryptocurrency market before the market will go back again. So let everyone sit up. Bitcoin has open the way and really as you said other altcoins are not moving like bitcoin but yet some of them have congestion network issue.

For the sake of old time holders who have seen both the bull and bear experience in bitcoin holding, they can be able to tell more about how the market is constantly reliable for rising each time if falls, when we invest in bitcoin, we don't have to show the kind of fear as if it were any of those altcoins we invested on, which we may see not being consistent in their performance or hardly rises whenever they fall, this same ability of bitcoin that makes it never to loose value and rises once it fall is part of the confidence they have developed in it for consistencies.

Same as you, I don't talk about altcoins and don't really pay attention to the condition of altcoins so far even though it is true that altcoins don't recover when Bitcoin manages to recover in the time needed.

The future of people who want their money to survive a decline in value or people who want to make a profit by investing in Bitcoin, holding Bitcoin without a doubt with proven experience and history will be successful.

Although I am not an expert in Bitcoin investment, and cannot give good advice. However, if we look at the journey and history of Bitcoin, if we can maintain it with a long-term strategy, I would answer yes, Bitcoin is definitely very profitable and guaranteed to provide excellent returns in the long term.
It looks easy, but in reality it's not that easy, especially for beginners. Because they don't have enough experience, understanding and knowledge to go there, and the most common reason is patience and panic which makes them take wrong actions.
Investing in Bitcoin requires strong belief because with belief we will not be affected by existing fluctuations, and they only focus on their belief, that in the long term or in the future Bitcoin will provide large profits. And if we have strong belief, we will always have patience which will produce perfect results in the future.

That's one of the major reasons why I prefer bitcoin to every other investment, infact bitcoin is not to be compared with every other coins/tokens in the crypto space, it has proven itself over a decade and more, it's really some kind of paradigm that people are looking down on. Bitcoin has been top 1 all time since launched and no other project has tried to attain a close height that it has gotten for years now even the famous Ethereum couldn't get there.

For holders, looking at the price history of bitcoin one should be rest assured that holding bitcoin will be more profitable in a long term. Although it's true that no body knows tomorrow but at least for bitcoin the future price is assured so, for holders they should keep holding, in every four years cycle bitcoin will keep reaching a new all time high, hence holding shouldn't be given a double thought on to be acted upon.

Bitcoin hodling has been one of the most profitable investment strategies for people who entered the crypto world very early. For the majority of investors that came after bitcoin reached a price of 10,000 USD it's still a nice return. The advantage of hodling for me is to not have the need to invest a lot of time on research and actively managing my bitcoin holdings. We never know what rational the investors have to be buying or selling now, but without them there wouldn't be a market. Imagine if nobody would be willing to buy bitcoin above 50,000 USD, or nobody would be selling below 20,000 USD. This would mean the market collapses as seller don't find a buyer and will reduce their prices. It wouldn't be possible to take profit by anybody anymore. In my opinion it's fine for people to be buying now if they don't have any coins already and are looking for ways to invest. It's not only bitcoin that is up so much, stocks are also doing pretty well this year. As long as investors have free money and are looking for ways to invest it's fine. As long as you don't spend all your money now to be buying at these high levels. Also if you have been buying bitcoin with the DCA method for the last 12 months you should keep buying. Your initial purchases already made a big profit and you want to keep building your long term crypto portfolio. In my opinion it's better to keep building our crypto portfolio instead of taking big profits and being stuck with fiat money again.

The supply of bitcoin is limited and that is the advantage of bitcoin, but that is not the outstanding difference of bitcoin compared to altcoins. Because it's just as easy for altcoin projects to create a project with a limited supply like bitcoin, and even less supply if they want. What makes bitcoin different is its utility and practical applications, Bitcoin has outstanding features and advantages that no other altcoin has. And the difference of bitcoin is that Satoshi originally created bitcoin solely for the purpose of creating a decentralized currency. Unlike today's altcoin projects that are created mainly for speculative, profit-making games.

Because this is one of the factors that makes bitcoin really worthy of being called the king of all Cryptocurrencies, previously there were many things felt by bitcoin holders, starting from governments who wanted to destroy bitcoin by carrying out FUD against bitcoin, they even strictly banned it in several countries so that people not investing but the fact that this method does not make bitcoin die even today bitcoin proves to us that investing with it is the right choice and can generate big profits for the holder in the long term.
There is no doubt about the future of bitcoin because so far bitcoin has proven to be the best.

All investments involve risk, and Bitcoin is no exception.  However, your view focuses heavily on the potential for success stories – those who've held Bitcoin since its inception and reaped significant rewards.  This paints an optimistic but incomplete picture.

Imagine a rollercoaster – the thrill of the climb is exhilarating, but the inevitable dips can be stomach-churning.  Bitcoin's history reflects this perfectly.  While some have made fortunes, many have seen their investments plummet during its frequent bearish cycles.

The "win-win" situation applies only with hindsight.  For early investors, holding was a wise strategy.  But for those who bought at the peak of a bull market, the wait for profits can be agonizing, especially during prolonged downturns.

Bitcoin is not like other coin when they lose value that's just the end of it. The value of bitcoin is in cyclic pattern,  it movement is just like a clock. Their is no need for one to panic if the price of bitcoin falls because it will definitely get back if only can hodl, it is just a matter of time . The problems people have investing bitcoin is that they do not have a proper understanding of how bitcoin works and they don't have patience to hodl bitcoin when bitcoin goes dip to recover their money with the exactly value the way bitcoin was bought.

Basically every investment requires a lot of patience and Bitcoin one isn't that different. The return of investment in Bitcoin used to have as higher percentage as the user hold it for a longer period.
In recent years, the ROI was lower than the first years obviously, yet it is still profitable unless you panic sold your coins with a loss. Just invest what you are affordable to lose and keep calm. That's the advice that every investor should have in mind ;)

This will always be a major problem for cryptocurrency investors who don't understand will always because most of their focus is profit making not the market works this is why we see in today's market investors chasing after the market trend to determine their investment.
Another thing that makes some investors not to hodl Bitcoin is the cost of having a whole BTC is costly for some people..

Any investors that buys Bitcoin with the intention of hodling it on the long term will surely not regret it, even if they buys it in the peak of bull run, all they need to do is hodle it till the next ATH, and they'll get ROI. Although it's best to buy it during bear run or price dip, hurdle till bull run and prepare for massive ROI when it hits new ATH, then decide whether to sale or keep hodling. I believe that Bitcoin has gone beyond the days when people were wondering if it's value will continue to increase in the future or it'll crash and vanish like most Ponzi scams. Bitcoin DCA method is the best form of investment for everybody, especially average and low income earners.

Bitcoin investment is totally different from altcoins investment, we've seen this several times when altcoins pump and dumb at end but bitcoin is totally different from others. Although invest with the mindset of a long term plan will yield profit, shortest time guarantee with bitcoin investment is not right. I have seen several coins listed but still no coin can surpass bitcoin even with the volatility nature and from my view people mistake the price fluctuation as risk involving but bitcoin has the ability to rise.

The "win-win" situation applies only with hindsight.  For early investors, holding was a wise strategy.  But for those who bought at the peak of a bull market, the wait for profits can be agonizing, especially during prolonged downturns.

When it comes to long term investments like bitcoin, patience is the key. The longer you hold, the more massive the profits will be. However, new investors have been believing bitcoin is a get rich quick tool, the reason why majority of them are not capable enough to hold their coins longer, and every time bitcoin price suddenly drops its price drastically, these people end up panicking and decide to sell their coins at a loss. Hence, it’s always a must to invest only an amount you can afford to lose so that even if the price consistently drops, at least you won’t be bothered since you are here to invest and hold bitcoin for long term, and only sell it at your desirable goal price.

Lessons learnt the hard way and since this is my first time experiencing the halving, then I must say, it has been an amazing journey to follow and indeed I think I have some great trust for bitcoin and I don’t want to pressure myself to holding but I’m sure to take extreme actions to hold as much as I could, coming the next having in four years from now and that’s why I’ve decided to start holding as soon as the cost of my health care reduces because I can’t even imagine the joy on the faces of people who bought it when it went down to $17k.

I don’t want to blame anyone who watched and wished to invest and hold  bitcoin but couldn’t due to some conditions beyond them, and I also want to remind us to get ourselves ready for the next halving and also try to seize the opportunity that would come then.

Investing in Bitcoin is not regretful at all, as a trader what is happening to Bitcoin price now is normal, you know that there will be a  point in time when the market price will go up even above than expected, then it drops down, after which it becomes stable,so i don't see any reason why some person's are panicking, if i were you,i will keep holding and wait patiently for the halving. As far as am concern Bitcoin has not disappoint and will never disappoint.

I think that ultimately there is no need to compare bitcoin with any other Alts, simply for the sake of comparing things that should not be.  Now, that does not imply and it is the reality that Alts projects are very profitable, there is a lot of investment there.

Then it is simply the maturity of the investor, everyone at this point knows where to invest and of course bitcoin will always be the favorite project par excellence.

I highly agree, Bitcoin though highly volatile has always shown the masses that the market indeed move in a cyclic pattern. I don't think it moves like a clock though since it never touches the same bottom once it records a new heights.  Unlike a clock that always reset on 00:00  Bitcoin often creates a new higher bottom everytime it ends its cycle.

The problems people have investing bitcoin is that they do not have a proper understanding of how bitcoin works and they don't have patience to hodl bitcoin when bitcoin goes dip to recover their money with the exactly value the way bitcoin was bought.

Or even with their understanding, the problem people have in investing on Bitcoin is the lack of patience.  Aside from that, the lack of funds to support their needs that they end up selling their BTC holdings once they got into a tight financial problem.

Bitcoin price is highly volatile, never it become stable, there might be a sideway movement of its price but even so, it fluctuates which gives opportunity to day traders to rake or lose a profit.  Though I agree that one should practice patience when investing in Bitcoin.  I believe the best move is to set a selling price and sell when the market hits the target selling price then reenter when Bitcoin market enters the bear market.

That is okay when there are comparisons being done to Bitcoin and alts. Thus, those altcoins investors are mostly the ones comparing their investments to Bitcoin and tells the same thing about it being expensive so they resort out in investing to alternative coins.

Then it is simply the maturity of the investor, everyone at this point knows where to invest and of course bitcoin will always be the favorite project par excellence.
Exactly.

Despite that we've got differences and preferences, we all have been matured on this market and for the new comers that will ask our thoughts about this and that. We're always glad to tell them that it's always and has always been Bitcoin.

Thats where it all gets crystal, the history.
Many people don’t tend to understand because they haven’t gone to its roots. A few might understand but, the desire to get rich quick while hodling for a short term often forces them into losses that could have been avoided. All they needed to do was not to sell when it dumps but rather, seek a buying opportunity to increase their hodling portfolio but no, you find them panic selling.

History would remind you that, there isn’t a cause to be alarmed. The market always seeks correction and giving investors a buy opportunity and so, it’s left for you to use that. Perhaps it’s unavoidable as some weak hands investors have got to sell for others to buy. It all plays into itself!

Altcoins are never my priority but my alternatives. We pave paths to be able to invest in solid projects, I know most of these projects ends up on the wrong side but we're not taking any chances because winnings become straight. Bitcoin have been tested and trusted, the most formidable projects in crypto, always two steps ahead of other projects. Holders have gotten their initial capital on their good entries on bitcoin, we know how difficult it can be but winning becomes very straightforward and heightened.

All investments involve risk, and Bitcoin is no exception.  However, your view focuses heavily on the potential for success stories – those who've held Bitcoin since its inception and reaped significant rewards.  This paints an optimistic but incomplete picture.

His views are focused on the success stories because that's the reward for hodling Bitcoin, and he's trying to establish a positive future for hodling Bitcoin which he isn't wrong because Bitcoin has proven numerous times that its hodlers never regrets that's why hodling will always be the best strategy to invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin has its risk but when calculating the risk to reward ratio, Bitcoin is far more a better investment when you buy and hodl and not having a short time investment mentality. There's more success story when you hodl Bitcoin irrespective of how the market moves because at the end of the day, Bitcoin always reward its hodlers.

The win-win situation doesn't apply only with a hindsight, you can know that hodling will give your profits from past investors. Bitcoin is no longer a new investment that doesn't have a history that you can look at. Those that are hodling end up being in profits so if you want to have a win win situation, you can just hold and not get bothered about the movement of the market. Those that bought at an early stage of Bitcoin (let say when Bitcoin was at its lowest) and those that bought at the peak of a bull run can all benefit if they hodl provided both investor have the patience to wait. The rollercoaster experience is part of the journey of investing in Bitcoin.

If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.
Yes it is easy prediction. long term holding is always give us a positive result for bitcoin. It has made new ATHs several times and they are multiples of previous ATHs. and again it went down a lot and again it pumped a lot and made a new ATH. Bitcoin is constantly giving us opportunities that those who take advantage of this opportunity can make huge profits and those who don't take advantage of this opportunity will only regret it.

This is actually true, their is no holder of Bitcoin that would feel any regret as a long term holder, because as Bitcoin is right now, we have not even seen the real potential of Bitcoin, and since it has a limited supply, it's destined to skyrocket in the near future.

Lastly, if you can do a research about Bitcoin over the years since it came into existence, it has practically grown over the years, and that's how it will keep on growing, when it's finally been adopted by more people and nations around the world.

There is only one issue with holding Bitcoin for a long period - you never know when the price will go up significantly. You can wait for 10 years and the price would still be low. People waited 3 years for ATH to update. There is a tendency that every 3-4 years Bitcoins price update ATH, but there is no guarantee that it will always do it. And adoption might become like this - you want adoption, you get regulation or limitation. Right now Bitcoin is so to say wild. Adoption cant happen imho without control. If Bitcoin gets controlled, it will stop gaining in price.

I think this is wrong information. Holding Bitcoin for a long term means that you are holding for a long term because you don't have plan on cashing out your investment anytime soon and also anticipating for increase in price which is not bad but waiting for 10 years is wrong. I have not seen anyone invested in Bitcoin all their life for 10 years, most people that have been holding for more than 10 years are probably the OG which are still using legacy addresses.

So far, we have had adoption and no regulations has been set upon Bitcoin, the only people that the government are trying to regulate are the centralized exchanges which is as a result of implemented anti money laundering scheme KYC to combat scammers and allow the crypto be free from fraud but that hasn't stop Bitcoin from doing what it should have done.

Bitcoin isnt just money, its the BEST money. This isnt just hype, folks, its about winners and losers. Bitcoin's taken hits, sure, but it always comes back stronger. Thats true strength, the kind you wont find in your average stock. See, Bitcoin's different. Its scarce, controlled, that creates value. And more and more businesses get that, countries too.

Now, Im not saying you wont have rough patches. This is a long game. But those who understand the big picture, they know Bitcoin's built different. Its more than quick profits, its about changing the system, taking control away from the old guard. And lets be real, folks, aint nothing more satisfying than watching the naysayers eat their words. So, all you smart investors out there, hold strong. You're not just making money, you're making history.

Bitcoin has shown it numerous times before, every time it falls down it would just take some time before it rise up and set a new record again.
But if you could trade then why not use it to accumulate more rather than just holding it, it is better to use the volatility of the market to earn more.

You could say the same about most commodities or indices etc. If you hold them long enough, you'd eventually end up in a profit position. But things are not so rosy when we consider inflation.
When BTC broke the new ATH, you could say that everyone who bought bitcoins at any time before that date (and didn't sell) is now in profit, but for those who bought at the previous ATH of $69k, the new ATH of $74k means a total nominal return of 7.2% in 2.5 years, equating to annual return of 2.9% - so well below the inflation rate (in most of the countries).
So yeah, Bitcoin is not some universal, superior type of investment and timing matters a lot. Depends on the time period, you could be much better off locating your money elsewhere.

The journey started many years ago and we need to be prepared for the long phase it's going to take us to keep benefiting from the market. There head been many people that had dispised the journey but now, they are regretting why they never joined the train before this time. They would have made some good profits from the market if they had decided to invest there money and time on Bitcoin.
There is still time for their people that have thought that Bitcoin would never reach the price that it is now.

That goes to show why BTC is the leader and number one among other cryptocurrencies out there.
Those who lost theirs somehow at the onset still regret till date because they would have been more careful to keep it safe in a wallet with key phrases and they would have accumulated at least for the time they could and it would have counted for something tangible and a reason to continue the journey.

Despite the dip, please buy and HoDL. Despite the pump still buy and HoDL. Although the profit would not be tangible enough now since we are already nearing the time of the halving and even the bull season won't do well for anyone just starting their HODLing journey. Instead for a long time close to a decade would do with a steady DCA strategy and much profit yield.
Even as a trader, unless you do know how to trade and earn, please HoDL.

I agree with you that no one loses by investing in Bitcoin and those who invest in Bitcoin. They are not disappointed in some cases it may take a little longer to get the profit. But no one is directly disappointed and his meaning is not lost at all. But if you invest at the right time, it is possible to make a lot of profit, because if you invest when the price of Bitcoin is going down, the number of profits is very high.

The value of Bitcoin just changes (up and down) but the amount we purchase (and hold) remains the same. Therefore, if we don't touch our Bitcoin, nothing happens. We only just lose if we sell them at a cheaper price compared to the buying price, and we only earn a profit by selling them high. That is how this investment works. Unfortunately, what is in the minds of some people (newbies) when they see a price decline and check their portfolio is in red, they start to panic.

Real investors don't take a move without a plan but passing investors don't have. This is why only real investors make money and are also the ones who are able to understand how things work out and why others are complaining.

Many people think the price will not rise again after the price reached $73k this year but it was a great surprised to some hodlers that have already sold their BTC and, the remaining hodlers who are still hodling for $100k to come before they can sell still have hope to achieve their target soon.

I guess many hodlers use that bull run to accumulate because the price hit the price hodlers have never see before in the market and, I believe it's few hodlers that are still hodling their BTC right now.

Who are the people who think the price will not rise again after reaching $73k? How can one think that way when they know that the halving is yet to come, and the bull run generally starts after that? The new all-time high of $73k was a surprise for us because it happened even before the halving event, so we shouldn't think that the price won't go above that point anymore.

And, what makes you think that most holders have already sold their assets when the price hit $73k? I don't think that's true, at least wise holders would still be holding because we are not done yet, we are yet to witness the actual bull run and the price can easily cross $100k when that happens.

Some sell their coin for a variety of reasons, not all sell bitcoin out of fear, but some are afraid of losing which is why they sold it, and I won't blame them because they aren't ready to achieve their goals, because anyone who knows about bitcoin very well will never sell it if they haven't met the minimum of their requirements, and anyone who is afraid of losing will find it difficult to succeed in his crypto journey.  you need to take risk before you can get profit because we use our capital to generate profits and anytime you are scared to put money on something you will never get anything from it.

that is why if I introduce anyone to invest in bitcoin and is saying is scared to lose i just forget about him, you can't be getting money anytime and you are expecting to know lose sometimes he can never be posible one day you most likely lose but the profit will be higher then losing, because when you are getting knowledge on bitcoin he will reduce your lost on it and increase your profits.

Bitcoin has thought us nothing different from what other investment assets teaches many of us everyday, for if we look at the stock market, look at the real estate market and so on, those who invest and hold always turn out to be the true winners, and being someone who have participated in every of this market and gained the knowledge and experience, I am not surprised to see that Bitcoin is also doing the same thing.

But I agree, this is very valuable lesson for the newbies amongst us, crypto is not a get rich quick scheme like the ponzi scheme alot of persons through money into and expect the hundred percent profit by the next day, no no, he or she who have decided and is investing in bitcoin must have balls to hodl, if the goal is for maximum profit, and as much as some people still luckily make alot of profit through fomo, the best time to invest in bitcoin is still during the bear season, those who have the balls to buy and hold bitcoin through the bear season are the true winners when ever the bull run arrives, just like we are seeing currently, and we aren't even in the bull run yet.

I simply agree, and I'll choose bitcoin over and over again;By HODLing, you allow your investment to grow over time, which can lead to significant profits in the future. In essence, holding Bitcoin can be the key to financial freedom and how it can revolutionize your approach to building and accumulating wealth.

Understanding Bitcoin and its value simply has great benefits attached to it,by educating yourself, developing a working strategic plan, and practicing risk management, you can live up to your financial goals and financial freedom.Bitcoin is always growing in acceptance, become  educative, follow the system and enjoy hodling bitcoin.

If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.
Yet people don't seem to understand or accept that reality , they kept having second thoughts about investing in bitcoin calling it as scam when there are almost 15 years now of bitcoin existence and have served thousands if not millions of people (though there are some failure of course) .
maybe once bitcoin reached 1 million dollar  per bitcoin then those are the days that they will regret those words of them.
Those who consider investing in Bitcoin as a fraud of course they do not have a correct understanding of Bitcoin and also they only know a little about Bitcoin so they make mistakes in their investment which results in losses so they consider Bitcoin a fraud and if they can invest correctly of course Of course they will be able to get a profit on their investment and currently Bitcoin has been very proven by recovering prices after experiencing a decline.

Adoption might still be far possible, as it may take a lot of processes before it gets finally done. And yet the end result would be controlling bitcoin and regulate it, hence slowly losing the decentralized nature of bitcoin, one thing that majority will never like it.

However, back to the topic, hodling bitcoin might have an issue but I think everyone has been aware of it prior to bitcoin hodling. And instead of seeing it as a threat that we can’t predict correctly on when will bitcoin price will go up, majority of people considered it as a thrill that keeps them coming back to invest and hold bitcoin.

Bitcoin is known as the king of all coins because of its success and its certain recovery but there are also some altcoins that must recover back to its elevated value like that of ethereum. Although all altcoins are not similar like that of ethereum and many of them disappear after some months or years therefore be conscious to grap top altcoins so if price goes down then you will have knowledge that it also have the ability to gain the previous worth once again.

Some people have bought bitcoin at the price of 69k$ at price bull season but they should not regret for their past as they are near to achieve their target value. As in current Bull season it recover back to 69k$ and even moved to the value of 73k$ so it is possible that if we target a value then once day we will achieve it no matter how longer we wait for it but out dreams will come true.

When that happens then your target must change from the original duration of time to the level of profit you want to get when in bitcoin and i like the second choice where the level of profit becomes my initial benchmark rather than the duration of time that I will do in bitcoin.

As for now it happened when bitcoin started experiencing ATH a few years ago i started to be there and bitcoin crashed and to the point where the price reached $16k I also continued to buy Bitcoin with DCA so that the level of profit i had continued to rise and now it is really proven and very felt but because my initial target is $100k i will stay here until the target i want is reached later. As for the time whether it is longer or shorter i don't really care what matters is that I am at that price and I will release my holdings slowly from the $100k price.
As for when the target price of $100k is exceeded then it also does not matter because I will sell it gradually but when the price drops back then I do not bother with other thoughts because I will buy back bitcoin by setting a new price as my target in the future .

The "win-win" situation applies only with hindsight.  For early investors, holding was a wise strategy.  But for those who bought at the peak of a bull market, the wait for profits can be agonizing, especially during prolonged downturns.

Regardless if you invest for long term or short term, it’s always necessary to only invest what you can afford to lose. No one holds the future price of bitcoin so to lessen the risk of losing, only invest your spare money that is not intended to pay your bills or buy your basic necessities. However, there is always advantage of you keep bitcoin for long term. Aside that it’s value appreciates in time, you will also feel less stress and less worries if you invest bitcoin at its long term.

Those are really proven and tested, especially among the rich, who hold bitcoin little by little for the future. But for people who are not rich and are trying to accumulate bitcoin, they will experience a profit from holding bitcoin in the future, but not as much as the amount that rich people make.

That's why, in a scenario like this, the top alternative altcoin investments always come in for those who want to get a big profit, as long as they really have potential, like Ethereum, Bnb, ADA, Matic, Aptos, Arb, and others. Because Bitcoin is really 100%, you can really get a profit there even if you hold it for a few more years. It's really just arguing with alternative crypto about how many times it will happen to your capital.

Nothing in this world is guaranteed. Bitcoin is volatile and the price was moving according to 4-year cycles, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing, as you could predict how the price would behave. Now take gold for example, which is considered one of the most stable commodities, it needed almost 8 years to return to its 2011 ATH, and if you account for inflation, it has never returned to its ATH value:

As for adoption (understood as using BTC as a form of payment), the biggest obstacle is not technology or network limitations, but the simple fact that very few people have any earnings in bitcoin.

But no one is directly disappointed and his meaning is not lost at all. But if you invest at the right time, it is possible to make a lot of profit, because if you invest when the price of Bitcoin is going down, the number of profits is very high.

Well, talking about the possibility of getting more rights in investment, of course timing is the main thing that needs to be considered and this is where it is important to read and understand the conditions of market movements for directed decision making, at least we avoid the same mistakes in generating additional profits as you meant above.

Real investors don't take a move without a plan but passing investors don't have. This is why only real investors make money and are also the ones who are able to understand how things work out and why others are complaining.

And surely we don't need to discuss those who haven't and disagree with the presence of BTC at the moment.

Yes. If we look at the current situation in the business world and maybe young investors have focused their investment attention on BTC, where opportunities with significant BTC price movements have been able to provide returns that exceed their previous expectations.

Those will not regret who are a part of bitcoin holding from past or from the creation timing of bitcoin but newbies will be in fear after watching a dip in its price. One should continue the investment in bitcoin until his pocket remain full because spending money for useless wishes is not a good idea but investment in bitcoin can make you able to make money and make a better life.

Bitcoin is consider as risky by those who have lack of knowledge and they have no habit of saving and investment from an early age so they will face some difficulties at start but with the passage of time they will become able to earn lot of money from a volatile crypto market.

Bitcoin has always shown its success in the crypto market many investors may despair as the price goes up and down but only those who can hold on to bitcoin will succeed. Bitcoin is not a stable currency but in terms of investment bitcoin gives good long term results there is nothing to prove that a currency like bitcoin will increase in value during the bull season and investors will get good profits. Prices must reflect some underlying fundamental value over the long term rationality wins and when it comes to fundamental value I don't see a problem with bitcoin.

Of course yes Bitcoin has proven many holders that it's never a regret for purchasing the coin. For an investor/a holder to hold his or her coin it is expected of the holder to have the attributes of being patient and disciplined. And also have something doing offline to earn a living in order not be tempted to sell his or her coin to sort out bills.Bitcoin is volatile and many holders that are not patient enough sell their coin and invest in altcoins without having full knowledge of what is all about.Bitcoin recover it's actual price or beyond during bull run so it's not a thing of regret.Bitcoin is best and reliable in terms of long term investment.Hodl that precious coin patiently.

As for adoption (understood as using BTC as a form of payment), the biggest obstacle is not technology or network limitations, but the simple fact that very few people have any earnings in bitcoin.
The lack of income in the form of Bitcoin is because it is not easy to be able to produce a Bitcoin, even to get 1 BTC is currently very, very difficult.
Trading may be a solution to generate bitcoin easily, but it requires a lot of capital and the risk is certainly also large.

Now regarding mass adoption only a few countries actually do it like El Salvador, but in some other countries it is just a commodity asset.
Technology and networks are already very supportive, it's just about how regulations will be applied in each country.

Being a Bitcoin holder will benefit greatly if they buy it early and hold it long-term.
But according to some data crypto owners including Bitcoin in 2023 is quite declining, of course this is due to many factors.
But for 2024 it seems that there will be more increases in crypto users as crypto is already entering a bull market with an imminent halving cycle.

It's good to see different asset prices from this point of view. Not only gold but even bitcoin hasn't reached it's ATH value if we account for inflation.
Sometimes people ignore the fact that inflation has been decreasing their overall portfolio value and lives under the assumption of increased profits.
It's a good awareness to them and they should be revalidating their assets every now and then accounting for inflation as well.

I never believed bitcoin will recover anytime soon, but is quite unfortunate that bitcoin has started regaining the price, this was the main reason why investors prefer to invest in bitcoin because it happens to be the most  profiting and reliable coin in terms of investment. However those who are currently holding bitcoin I think they are going to make a lot of profit from bitcoin now that bitcoin has recovered it's value.

They will if they want and ignore if dissatisfied. Perhaps, there is no forcing people to invest but it is their decision and willingness.
That is why not all individuals see the benefits of Bitcoin because not all are also open-minded. In fact, in our family, I was certain that there were some misunderstandings and no support because sometimes we have been influenced by FUDs and scam issues that we heard around. So, let these people think differently, they will just see soon when we are improving. Just continue our doing as we reap off all the hard work we have done in the coming days.

For me, Bitcoin holders are winners because I have experienced the benefits during the halving, at that time, I held my Bitcoin for several years, then when the Halving occurred, the profit I got was 3 times the capital I spent when buying Bitcoin. Therefore, when the Halving occurs, the holders who are currently still able to hold it will feel happy because they can get huge profits so that in this way they can fulfill the desires they have always dreamed of.

You are right because Bitcoin has shown everyone who invested on it that they will never regret chosen Bitcoin for there investment, because with how potential Bitcoin is no matter how the price may seem to be dipping but one thing is for certain that it will surely bounce back to it normal price, just like months ago when the Bitcoin price was ranging within $30k to $36k and now look at how far the price has gone now, this is actually a prove that there are so many good things installed for Bitcoin in the future, perhaps that's one of the reasons why I believe that no time is late in terms of buying Bitcoin because even if we feel it has gotten or creating a new All-time high but with time the new ATH will be lower compare to what the price will be in the future.

Bitcoin is tremendous; some would even call it the greatest deal. It changes how you think about money and transactions. Not everyone will understand right away, which is good. I know brilliant folks who were initially dubious. Bitcoin makes doubters eat their words.

Remember cents on the dollar. Smart people looked the other way, but maybe they didnt see the overall picture. Now the same folks are rushing in. Believers understand potential. You join Bitcoin to join a revolution, not simply for the money.

Not everyone's ready. Thats OK. Change like this takes time. Those that expand their minds can reap great rewards. This is about a new financial system, liberation from banks and control, not just getting rich. Dont worry about short-term fluctuations. Would you change the game and be part of the future?

I can hardly count the proofs that Bitcoin is really proven when it comes to long-term investment. That's why if you are new here and you want to experience an income that will surely grow your capital, allocate it to Bitcoin. Maybe that's what you invested in, which you can repeat 3–7 times.

But if you want to get rich with Bitcoin but you're not a rich person, I think that won't happen if this bull run that we're facing now doesn't even reach at least 0.1 btc you're holding. Don't expect to get rich, but there is also income to be earned for sure, but don't expect a large amount.

Bitcoin gives a good lesson to those who still do not trust Bitcoin.  I am so wonder when I meet someone and when I tell them about the BTC they give a laugh and then say are you stupid to invest in Bitcoin. It's a trap and will give you a huge loss,  like imagine in today's most advanced era some people are present who consider Bitcoin as a scam.  I think the recovery of Bitcoin price is a slap on the face of those people who are laughing at the users or investors of Bitcoin.  Soon they will see the next high move of BTC and then they will regret why they did not invest early in Bitcoin but it will be too late and the only thing they will have is a huge regret.
Definitely a slap in their faces because I am just wondering how the Bitcoin faithful would have felt the year that Bitcoin dumped from $67k to $18k, it must have been really tough for those that failed to sell and for some that have friend and family that doesn't believe in Bitcoin, they would enjoyed alot of slanders from these people but the current price has shown that Bitcoin could and recover and they are the ones laughing now.

Bitcoin teaches it users the value and benefits that is involved when someone actually practice patience because with Bitcoin, patience should be your core value and principle.

We don't need to keep showing people the prove why they need to invest in the crypto market. There are many ways we can make money from the market sonwe don't need tínkeeo trying to convince people that investing in cryptocurrency is one of the best way they could earn in the financial markets. It would be understandable if one can diversify there investment into different categories so that we could make the investment randomly. Crypto market is a very big more than what we ever though of but we can still make good amount of money if we have the right information.

Surely Bitcoin is one of the most trusted coins cause the price recovers but one must wait for the right time to ensure that they will make a profit out of it. Some waited for years so one must invest only what amount they can afford to be stagnant for a while. Again cryptocurrency is volatile so there will always be a risk but bitcoin proven itself for years. Holders that wait for years truly won't regret investing.

For those who have no knowledge about bitcoin, bitcoin is nothing but a big scam that’s why investing in it  brings high risk. However, for those who have great knowledge on bitcoin, despite of its high risk, hodling will certainly be worth the time and money. Simply because bitcoin’s value continue to appreciates in years. Thus, the longer you hold it, the higher probability to gain massive profits. Bitcoin has the biggest ROI these days, no wonder there’s a bunch of newbies continue to enter the market even without prior research and studies about bitcoin.

Bitcoin has consistently witnessed fluctuations in its price, affirming the inherent volatility of the cryptocurrency. The surge in Bitcoin's value can be attributed to various factors. Now, with the opportunity to invest significantly on power-miner, store and earn daily profits through mining and trading for up to six months, life is becoming more promising for Bitcoin investors. We owe gratitude to the leaders in the world of cryptocurrency for introducing alternative avenues for earning digital currency. Media Coverage Investors base their decisions on psychological factors, including intuition and the performance of key market components. Positive media coverage has played a significant role in driving up the value of Bitcoin. This was particularly evident during the early days of Bitcoin when reports about an alternative form of currency started gaining traction. The impact of favorable media reviews cannot be underestimated when it comes to the appreciating value of Bitcoin.
Ultimately, whether Bitcoin is worth holding as an investment depends on your individual financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon. It's essential to conduct thorough research and seek professional advice before making any investment decisions. As Bitcoin's adoption continues to grow and more individuals and businesses embrace it, the market cap will increase, leading to greater stability and liquidity. However, until then, the fluctuations in Bitcoin's price will persist due to its current limitations.

We don't need to keep showing people the prove why they need to invest in the crypto market.
That is one way of tackling it. Keeping others away from a profitable ventures means you can get the asset at cheaper prices and then sell on those people who they FOMO in on it. However most people are not into bitcoin because of the first reason being government grey zone on bitcoin and the second being cybersecurity related news having bitcoin in its mode of robbery.

While these things if looked with a deeper thought, clearly shows that bitcoin is not the culprit, most people dont want to get their hands dirty. I think we should encourage those who are willingly accepting bitcoin and wants to join in, but dont overdo it and end up being a laughing stock in the friend circle. After all, the fools make fun of others, wise people work quietly.

they hold us that will be regretful when they hold the Bitcoin for long time is the group of holders or investors that purchase a bitcoin when the price is high and on the process the price decreases in the market so it is obvious that those holders will be regretful for holding bitcoin, so another one that's the main thing that is important is to target when we will buy bitcoin and it becomes profitable to us.. bearish season is one of the things that makes us to regret when we purchase a bitcoin when the prices is high so if the bearish prprolong it is when the Investor who invest in Bitcoin will be regretting of investing at that moment, what is that you cannot compare bitcoin with altcoin anyone who invested in Bitcoin have the confidence of making a profit the only thing that the person is patient

The people that use to regret from BTC investment are newbies because they always have it in mind, that the price will not rise higher above the current price that will make them to sell all their BTC than to see the price continue rising in the market to allow other hodlers that exercise patience to make the highest profit from the market.

No matter how much one ends up buying bitcoin, it's never going to lead to regrets. As long as the person in question bought the bitcoin with a small amount of his assets and can hold it for a very long period of time, they will eventually reap the fruit of their holdings.
Buy BTC, when the price is high in the market, it can make someone to regret when the price dump below the amount the person use to buy the BTC from the market because the best time to buy to set for a good opportunity to come to make profits is bear season, and if you can be able to buy from bear market, you will surely embrace joy from the bull market.

Buying Bitcoin at a particular price and selling it when it hits a particular price with the belief that it won't go higher than that is not enough reason to leave a regret in the mind of those who sold early. They might regret why they were not patient enough, but the regret won't be as high as that.

It will be for those who don't have much belief in the market and don't know how it moves. With every little shake on the market that leads to a little drop, they sell out of panic, and instead of making a profit, they always end up losing money, which is a bad investment method. Such people who always sell out due to fear are the ones I know will regret their action more.

Profit is profit on which this what matter the most but we know that each person does have their own profit taking level or goal or point on which means that you would really be definitely be setting those bars high or not.
When making out some Bitcoin investment then it would really be best that you shouldnt really that make yourself that be too confident or having that feeling of secured future when holding or investing with Bitcoin.
Im not saying that its shit or something that cant be trusted but always consider out about the risks. We dont know on what would the tomorrow looks like and if you are someone whose really that
putting up all in with bitcoin without having those kind of risks considerations then you are really that putting yourself at such trouble.

This is why it would really be best that whenever you do deal up with investment which it isnt just that limited to Bitcoin, make it sure that you are already wary
on the risks and the probabilities on which it is really that getting involved with.

I don't think anyone wants to survive until they die without enjoying the results. Yes. Maybe this also sounds common that I said and has said thousands of times because I think look at everything there is a period, there is a buying period and a selling period that's why it's always recommended every 8-10 years to last not for a moment and that's the pattern of work.

This is why it would really be best that whenever you do deal up with investment which it isnt just that limited to Bitcoin, make it sure that you are already wary
on the risks and the probabilities on which it is really that getting involved with.

True, all have their own points of view but the purest I noticed and provided a level of comfort that is relevant to date is in BTC for others there is also but the level of weight is predominantly not as high as in BTC.

Well, if we look at the history of the Bitcoin price, it really makes the holders get big profits. However, we know that it is not easy to keep holding bitcoins for several years. In fact, when someone plans to keep holding their bitcoin, if they don't have the preparation to meet their needs, or the mentality to see the price of bitcoin fall, then they won't put up with it. This is a reward for people who truly hold bitcoin with confidence.
However, until now I am also one of those people who cannot hold bitcoin for a long period of time. Even though I believe in promising profits, the economic situation is not yet supportive, I continue to use the investment money I have and always pass up this opportunity. That's why altcoins are always my choice for short-term investing.

To be honest, I personally, who was still a beginner, had doubts and wondered whether the Bitcoin price would break through the ATH or not, but after seeing Bitcoin's movement which managed to break through the ATH, I realized that people who bought when the BTC price was high would definitely feel the benefits and profits. sold btc when it was over $73k.

It's true what you say, currently many people are experiencing the benefits and benefits of investing in BTC as long as they wait patiently and don't panic when the price drops. Yes, BTC holders will not regret it if they invest in BTC using the money  are ready to lose and the correct procedures for investing in BTC. Yes, what you say is true and of course we have to learn from experience and to date I personally have never been disappointed by investing in BTC.

However, for those who lose when investing in BTC, of course it is due to impatience and lack of insight, but for those who patiently wait a long time, of course we will feel the benefits.

Holding without a good reason or goal, simply never works --it will be just an imagination.
Just like before, I really find it hard because of many temptations and sometimes I've been affected by my emotions and doubts. Because even in your mind you have trusted Bitcoin and believed that it would pump during the bull season but if never control your emotions, you still end up selling all your Bitcoin before ATH. And it was worse when doubts were still in your mind despite you see the potential of Bitcoin.

Right from time their is never a coin competing with bitcoin.  Bitcoin have always been leading others,  since the creation of bitcoin till this time is a good evidence for people to see the standard.  The market value is enough for people to see that bitcoin remains the best and no other coin can compare. Sometimes when I go in the market and i check the value of altcoins it is so low that it is not even increasing like bitcoin and this is to say that this altcoins have long way to go.

The reason why some people involves themselves with altcoins is because they lack the right understanding,  I think some people just think all cryptocurrencies are the same, they all have the ability of giving profit. For those that truly understand bitcoin will always stick to it.

I agree with you and in reality it is not easy to hold bitcoin in the long term and of course there is always the temptation to sell bitcoin because necessity for life and I personally have felt this, namely being forced to sell bitcoin because necessity for life.

but honestly I learned a lot from this forum and of course I often read words like this, only money that is ready to be lost is worth investing in bitcoin and finally I thought and finally I started investing with money that was ready to be lost and finally I succeeded. Even though my Bitcoin amount is small, my economy, mental, emotional, daily and life are not disturbed because I invested in BTC using money that was ready to be lost. but yes, bitcoin always rewards those who hold btc for the long term.

Of course, everyone has different experiences and circumstances, but of course everyone has their own way of investing in BTC. If you choose altcoins for short-term investment, of course that is your right and of course the important thing is that we make a profit.

Yes, if you don’t put an essence to it, you will never succeed on it. Hodling is like a roller coaster of emotions, sometimes you’re at your highest when you are seeing bitcoin price in surge but when it drops, it creates a reversal of emotions. If you don’t have patience and emotional control, you will never be suitable with hodling.

However, I’m not saying that short term investing may not be profitable but if you are up for massive profits, long term hodling is the best proven option.
