If a Coin or a Cryptocurrency Project that has been launched and it is not increasing in value in the bull market while others are increasing tremendously, I advise you not to invest in that coin because if invest in it and it's not increase in value now till the bear market again then when do you think the coin will increase for you to make a profit. Investment is all about calculation and wisdom and just throwing your money in the ocean and thinking that one day you will make when the water rise. Investing in altcoins is a very good idea and decision but invest wisely and not to regret later because the coin you invested was nothing but a cymbal drum from the ecosystem to make noise for recognition and the developers of such coins are not to make you benefits from them but for them to make money or profit from you as you invest.

And those kind of projects are the once always having one problem to the other. Upgrading issues, site maintaining issues, and others issues so before you know that they have collapsed in the midst of confusion. Please steer clear and buy and invest in popular well known altcoins projects like Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, dogecoin, and few more. Avoid any coin that is not improving in value.

Some people are hoping to make increased profits compared to the amount of mo ey they have invested. That is why some people invest purely on speculation and not really based on market movement. Which in a way I understand because if the market is moving upwards you would not want to be left behind but at the same time you do not want to exert too much in case something goes wrong.

Personally, I do agree that we should stick with the well-known ones but other people might not be as keen to do that.

Yes I totally agree with you it's very important to understand that we should never invest in these kinds of coins. Actually the problem here is a bit different, these scam projects get attention from some greedy newbies and then they make some good profits and suddenly disappear.The other ones in the market get confidence from these kinds of acts and they also launch and this continues.

We have to stop this and it can only be done through educating people about these kinds of projects so that they can save themselves from the scam.itll automatically lower the confidence of scammers and they'll stop doing this.

Rather it would be better to say that if a new project if not attracting attention even if three months of it's launch, it's better to wait and see before investing in them.
A scam, ponzi or half hearted project might have an initial pump but won't last long, A 3 months would be a good time to filter them out.
For other coins project that doesn't attract good attention even in the first 3 months, it would take them large amount of time to gain the trust of the community and you'd always have time to get back to them when they are getting recognition.

Good mentions, these coins have higher potentials to perform more better when the bullrun begins after the halving, but i must say this that beginners are not to make investment at critical time of high volatility except they think you've got the required experience in making investment in cryptocurrency because many of them do fall under the category of those selling as a result of fear of missing out wen the market go bearish ad they end on going on loss because they sell instead of holding.

If it doesn't go up in the bull market, you know what it will do in the bear market. It will die. The only people will care about in the bear market are hedging their money during the collapse by moving them to stablecoins.

So choose carefully and iff possible just among the top altcoins. Even the TRX is running up though and because it didn't turn out to b e a scam since 2017, you will still gain although you are not maximizing the profit opportunity, you still profit.

OP, you have made a valid point, but don't forget that not all altcoins rise immediately during the bull run. There are some circumstances that may arise during the period within the project and the new enlisted feature. These may result in a decrease or stagnation in the price of an altcoin. But it does not mean that these altcoins will not also flourish in the bull run. In conclusion, we should not conclude that altcoins that will do well during this bull run are the best to invest in. Some scam coins will also flourish, so we should also be careful and look out to avoid scams.

It is very challenging task to predict with absolute certainty which coin will perform in the next bull run, apart from Bitcoin and to some extent Ethereum, because Bitcoin stands out as fully decentralized digital asset , providing relatively stable investment. Rest of all altcoin are associated with risk, even prominent project such as Solana which can potentially break its previous All Time High (ATH) of $300, confronts risk such as network outage, contributes to overall volatility associated with altcoins.

Finding which coin will be the one that will increase during this time should be something that will take some time. I realize that it is not going to be all that easy to figure that out, but that is not really the quick point of it and you should not consider that as the most important part. I believe that we are going to end up with a lot better situation that gets to a point which would make us question things.

If you think that you KNOW what will go up during the bull run, you are probably wrong and that is not the way it works, because nobody knows which one will go up the most during the bull run. We just speculate, assume and predict these things and we hope that we are right, sometimes we are, and sometimes we are not.

A lot of people tend to think that if they invest in coins with low market capital or low prices, they will get a lot of profit once they start growing and they wouldn't need a lot of investments to start growing but they don't think about the negative results of their investments such as what if the coin they are investing in doesn't gain any success at all, what if they fail before they could grow?
One needs to make sure that they are investing their money in proper projects, and by a proper project I mean a project that has a vision, a good team, good developers, and they have all their developments going as their plans and roadmap.

I had a big loss in 2022. At that time I tried to invest in new projects and projects that were currently hyped like VRA, SAND, MANA, and meme coins like Shiba and Doge. These projects increased rapidly when Bullish and look even in 2024 I still lost a lot of my money from these five projects. I already recovered my money from Doge and Shiba but the other three projects even dropped to 90% of their current price. At this time I advise everyone to be very careful in a bull market like the current one. It's better to invest in altcoins like ETH or Solana and if you want to bet you can try new projects but DWYOR.

Dear, mate I used to say one thing that investing in altcoins is very picky part and no one can guess or have an idea so accurately which specific altcoin will give him a good profit we just invest in these projects on the basis of our analysis with the intentions of getting high profit. Well, let's say we have invested in good projects and we just stepped into the bull season but the project on which we have invested after our analysis/research is not pumping like we expected with this unfortunately. So how can we come to know that where to hold the amount 100% so accurately in altcoins?

Besides this, I used to make average hopes of making profits from altcoin projects because making very big hopes sometimes disappoints us. So, in this way if we get some good profits unexpected to our hopes it makes us even more happy. I don't totally agree with you. There can be valid reason why a token is not moving up when the rest of the market is moving upward. In the last bull run ADA, MATIC, DOT were slow movers compared to the rest of the market but they eventually caught up and made a massive rally that no one forgot. Sometimes team keep their development news secret so that they can do insider trading, and later they publish the news which creates hype and causes prices to rally. If a project has a good fundamentals and roadmap then it will increase in price if a bull run is ongoing.

Obviously if you hold top coins then your profit will be huge but those which are scam and has temporarily gained the curiosity of individuals will not give you anything but your money will be dropped.

There are lots of important tested coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Solana, and many more so we should not take the risk by investing in any unidentified coin because we don't know that which are scam one and which are accurate for investment but we have opportunity to invest in old top coins therefore don't copy newbies and other people who choose new coins because of their greed.

So I begin to wonder what is happening, and I can not just imagine holding a large quantity of such coins. BNB used to move massively with other cryptocurrency during bull run but recently, it has become too sluggish, meaning anyone who chose that might have to wait longer for it to move. There good numbers of altcoins that moves along with Bitcoin with some even outperforming BTC. Those are the coins worth investing on and holding for long.

I’m so Agree with you OP. Investing is not just a glance, speculating and hoping to make a profit. This is about see possible opportunities based on analysis and datas. We must find a potency that can make us profit. Maybe some one join to low profile coin and hope their rise sometimes, but slowly the price of that coin becomes increasingly falling. This is just make some trouble for our self. I’m more interested in investing in the top 10 list of CMC. it make me satisfied with the results and the risk is small. I also do an analysis before jump to make decision. If there have my criteria, I will join in. If not, I will stay away from it.

Investing on the top 10 coins in the coinmarket is an advantages cause we all know that those top 10 coins will gave us a good profit in the future especially Bitcoin, Ethereum, and binance which is pretty good enough to be invested. Anyways still the price is volatile so we need to be careful and now the price are going up higher and higher maybe it's time to study and hold some of the top 10 coins in order to have a profits once it will continues to move up.

This is when you have limited capital when it comes to investing in altcoins where people are mostly taking risks to invest in some new coins in order to maximize their earnings during these upcoming bull runs.      I can only add to what you said: our communities here should not simply invest in the new ones that are just coming out in the crypto space today, especially since there will definitely be more new altcoins coming out in the market.

Sometimes it is very easy for us to say we are investing in projects that moves with the bull run but we need to understand that it's not easy to see good.peojwvt in the market especially new ones. There are so many project we can buy mad hold in the bull if we are ready to invest in some of the good projects that have been in the market for lk g ebfore now. I'm not aware that a cryptocurrencies can be launched without the potentialities to reaching bull runs although I'm not in doubt of your opinion Op, I'm still growing knowledge in their AltCoins industry.
However, I personally wouldn't invest on any AltCoin that doesn't have the projection to exercise bull run. If I may ask, how would the Coin increase in values if it declines its volatilities potentials to reach bull run season? How would it advance its increments if if doesn't portray this potential? That should be the real shitcoins.
How would investors make profits from their assets they invested on? I'm just wondering what would be the dividend of the Investors who would invest in such coins.
I just hope Investors would make research and inquire before induging on any AltCoin else they would be bathered with regrets.

You are not to agree with me or the op but experience is the best. People have lost funds in trying not make profits from altcoins investment most on new project and at the end the project could not survive and collapsed along the way and all the investment funds were lost to the ocean. If a coin has been existing in the ecosystem then it is expected that it will also follow suit the Bull Run because that is the aim of the project to attract investors. So if the project is not moving further even slow then it is a doom project. Thank God you said they were moving but only that the movement was slow so the investors still have hope because the project was moving upward just that it was slow.

But whereby the investment bus not moving at all then there is no need to keep your coins or funds in that place or project because your hope might disappoint you. Stay away from them.

No one will actually be interested in throwing their money in a project that is not growing but in bull season every project will show sign of green irrespective of whether it's good, team behind is working on its development, use case that is when we have to use our wisdom to narrow down the available options and pick the right one from the existing group.

Having a couple of green candles or showing a growth percentage as low as 1 or 2% isn't enough, and a lot of projects stay within this area even during the bull run because they are abandoned and people barely trade them. We all know that the price of an asset goes up only if it is in demand, that is what a bull run is all about. When demand for Bitcoin increases, and supply is reduced through the halving event, it's price goes up, and altcoins that receive investors tend to go up with it as well.
However, if an altcoin isn't traded at all and has zero investors, it will barely be able to gain any value even during the bull run even if they are showing a green sign.

Upto 20% price volatility is just a normal day scenario in the crypto market especially altcoins so I am talking that kind of green for few weeks is a sign but not every project may not worth the risk for the following reason of bull run. Yep, a project that doesn't increase in value during a bull market could be a sign of low potential. But it must be expressed that the approach creates awareness in each person, and indeed if it was certain that things would increase in price, I think people would not have to face losses. You're right but sometimes this coins is unpredictable, reason is because you May not know the one  that will increase in there value.sometimes you might be looking for coin that Will increase in value that you can invest on, probably you might end up making the wrong decision either.so I guess this coins is very hard to predict this time, but I think ethereum is considered as the most reliable coin to invest in this bull run because there's always an increase in the value.

NO, I don't buy shitcoins but instead, I buy projects that have been known for their potential and have a working product. It will pump during bull run just like other projects but the huge difference is that these projects will never dump going to the bottom we can't expect recovery. It dumps as usual but it recovers back shortly. These are the project that we need to choose, not just increase its value ONLY during the bull season as it was not different from investing shitcoins.

A good choice of coins will also affect the results of our investment. We may see meme coins pumping high but if we miss selling them during their peak, it is hard to expect it rise again and earn.

Maybe you are right and it will, or maybe you are wrong and it won't. I think the best way would be sticking with bitcoin. I know this is altcoin discussions, so stating that bitcoin is the best one is not the way to go, but I feel like that's going to be something that will take a bit of time and should not be something that will be all that easy to be fair.

I love this advise but how will you know a coin that can appreciate in price during the bullrun, I will always advice everyone that investing in altcoins demands carefulness, if you really want to invest in altcoins that follows Bitcoin to increase in price as the bullrun takes off, you have to get involved with ETH, BNB these are the coins I can recommend because I have watched them closely there upward movement has always been incredible since Bitcoin started appreciating recently, though I might not have mentioned some coin here but these are the ones I can lay hands on, what we need to be doing at this point is going for sure coins that we can verge for.   

Since there are huge amount of altcoins in the crypto market, it is very difficult to predict altcoins because there are always cases of altcoin scams. Those who invest in altcoins must be able to accept risk and it is mandatory to invest in crypto. Anyway op's points are valid but finding coins that make predictions is very difficult. And those who can do this can make huge profits as altcoins pump quickly at times.

The strategy I go by with is if you are not sure, wait and see. You don't necessarily have to buy a coin in ICO, there are thousand of ICOs and presale each day. Most of these coins don't even make it to the central exchanges. Just keep following good projects and wait for them to get listed on Tier A centralized exchange. When they are supposed to get listed, the price gets hiked and when they finally do, there's a dip good and long enough for you to accumulate in cheap price.
Investing on high marketcap alts can be not exciting but they are less riskier options as they have a good number of actual holders and are less prone to whale movements.

always knowing the trend is the key, if there's so many L2s out there popping up then you might get a good chance investing in ethereum and getting profit from it, if there's so much hypes about dapps in solana then investing in solana thats kinda simple enough but also remember that not necessarily guarantee always profit I mean you can only invest in the trend and make profit if you are early enough so knowing the sign helps a ton.

Mind you that you can as well buy a coin that the price is rising and then those who bought early would dump on you and you become a bagholder. Hype and price increase should not be the only reason you buy a coin. Buy cryptocurrencies that have an actual utility, a coin that has an actual utility might not rise in price when you want it to, but it definitely would not go extinct or die like many coins do, the price is definitely going to rise, because they are people who are using it, and so there's demand.

It's beyond doubt that investment in altcoins should solely dependant on ones research, although altcoins are risk but in order reduce risk we advise investors whether big or small investor to clear understand the concept in which the project he or she is about to invest on is all about, if it's not good enough to attract the masses attention then it's absolutely not a good idea to invest on them.

Without disputing the fact that investing in altcoins is more like gambling you have to risk every dime to profit then it should be solely on coins that has built reputation around the space in such a period of time, hence wagering is not advisable for anyone because it will only make you more broke than you ever be. If only it was so easy to only invest in coins that go up. If you wait until a coin or token is going up you might end up buying the top & get dumped on. It’s best to identify coins/tokens that you believe will go up before they do. Sure it’s a bit of a risk but this is crypto, the wild west of investing.

In my opinion, invest in altcoins that have the potential to rise and have interesting projects in the future or that are founded in this light. Avoid altcoins that you don't know what you are buying. Still do thorough research. Do your own research so you don't experience losses. ETH, SOL, MATIC and The top 10 coins on Marketcap are very suitable for beginners but you need to remember that this is a lot of investment advice do you own research

Increase of value in a coin is not a guarantee that a coin is a good coin to invest in. A coin can increase today and falls dip and never increase again. I think it is better to find out coin that are reliable to invest, reliable coin can be known by checking the history of coins in the market,  how they have performed all these years in the market. In the past some investors invested in coins that were increasing but still lose value in the market.

Hopelessly waiting for new projects to do well or give you that 100x is such a stupid thing to do, i am not saying not to wait for then to pump but its better to invest in coins that are already doing well and get those profits besides holding altcoins is not advisable and might not work out well, its good to have patients but not when playing with fire, and you dont want them to dump on you.

Then how do you check the history of any particular project in the market? only by the history of the coin value trading from the first day it was launched? well, buddy in my point of view this is the wrong way to check the project's accuracy or potential. Although investing in the altcoin is a very picky part we have to do good research before investing in any of them trading out in the market. If I may at your place i will never ever check the history of the coin trading value. rather I will check the history of the project activity like is project team has a strong community.

I will check is project team is dedicated or not, are they still working on the project ecosystem or not, and whether the project team is collaborating with other good projects or not, besides this there are many more factors that can be checked before investing in any of the projects out in the market. These are only some factors investors should check to verify whether the project is strong or not.

That's right, if memecoin is a coin that just throws money away and suffers losses if you don't choose the right meme, there are some people who tend to get into meme coins and they get instant profits, whether they really followed the coin from the start of the project list or just luck, so everyone has their own luck, but in my opinion it is better to invest in top coins than in meme coins

But how do we exactly select the right meme coin? Picking those what we think good doesn't guarantee any profit to us since usually we don't know what will happen to them unless we already see a huge pump happened or even the worst dump came. What at least we can do for that is to choose who's going to be the trend at that time but we should never hold them even though there are several meme coin pump x1000 or more since its so rare to hit that and hope for it to come. More chances to get scam rather to find a gem so we should think more better and never ride with FOMO on meme coins.

Well I do think there is alot of coins that are showing profits in this 'bull run'. We do not know which coins will give us big profits.

But for me I like to invest in coins in the top 10 for the marketcap. Ethereum is always a good alt coin if we want to add to our crypto portfolios.

The only coin that is generating profit is Bitcoin and meme coins. I do not see much return being generated from other altcoins. Solana is looking good only because of meme coins that are being launched using its blockchain. Ethereum is not as good as it was in the last bull run, the fee is too high again which driving new projects to use the Solana blockchain. Ethereum copy BNB did far better this time too when the market was in green.

The Bull Run market is around the corner and many new Coin has been listed and like wise other old alt-coins has been doing well with a difference exchange being trading on and the best option to look for old token that did well in previous history of Bitcoin halving and surely expected to happen again in the cryptocurrency marketplace.

Bull season is suppose to be the time for cash out whether shitcoin or utility coin and if we fail to watch for the right time and it escape from you then don't expect that during the bear that any coin will rise including Bitcoin. Bear time is not a profitable time for hodlers only traders who buy or sell and at same time making profit if they get it right.

Hence some shitcoins won't come back to the market or won't get to your entry price again, some will end up being delisted from some exchange because they are not creating liquidity as developers have dumped them. We therefore need to understand that during bull, so much low value shitcoins enter the market all for developers instant gain and not that they intend to create any service. So if you identify this kind of project as an investor who has bought in, be ready to dump at the ATH or immediately it is close to that because the rug could be pulled off the feet of such investor.

The truth is most coins will definitely experience an upsurge during the bullrun as the supply will massively increase and everyone will be ready to make profit. You have to be careful regardless on you buy coins, there are some exchanges with good projects just like Bitget, binance and the likes, it will be very easy to spot good projects during the bull run on those exchanges.

You already shared some of them. TBH, it's hard to know which coin will increase in value during the bull run.
I've tried to follow EOS for quite some time especially in the past 2 bull runs. In 2021, it didn't even surpass it's previous ATH in 2017, and that alone is enough for me to convince that this is for me not a good coin to hold. I know, we have different factors on whether a coin is good to hold for long term or not.

If you want to approach the bull run in a conservative way, just invest into the top coins, or into the coins that OP shared. There are some good coins as well that's good to hold, and you can still make profit during the bull run. Top coins are less risky, but less rewarding as well. Lower market cap coins are more risky, but more rewarding. Overall, as long as you bought coins during the bear market in 2022 and in the year 2023, you will have profit at the end of the bull run, and that's certain.

I just don't recommend to buy during the bull market because we have given enough time to accumulate. Why only buy during and not before? :D

I actually think that it’s easier to make mistakes during a bull run.
Not all coins who follow a surge will always and constantly be
increasing in value. I agree that it should be a good time for taking
profits and we should take advantage of it as much as possible.

It is not really that you have to wait but knowing the one that will increase in value and invest in it and also at least let it be that the coin or the project to invest had been moved up a little before you invest and not the one that had not even move small upwards before and form the day is the launched till now the project is still stagnant and those are the once was talking about and not the ones that have a potential future. Identification is one of the best method to know before investing in a project.

Investing in altcoins is good because it makes you to diversify your investment as I did with Electrum. Even the Ethereum tht I have invested I didn't do the research enough and that's why I didn't know the network is congested and if I would known I wouldn't invest for now.

Knowing which project will pump is not the hard thing to do but what makes people think it is difficult because they are impatient. Valuable coins don't get pumped too easily like hyped projects which makes impatient people ignore them instead, they choose scam projects from believing instant ROI which is truly impossible.

Yeah true, most of the altcoins will end up going higher and higher during the altcoin market, and that should be the most important part, a lot of people do not realize that the market will go up together, the yare all looking for THAT coin which will go up, which is the most weird thing because you are not going to find a single coin that will make people money, there will be dozens of them everywhere and that matters.

I personally believe that the best we can do right now is the fact that we could probably make money based on what we have. Just keep hold of any of the big name coins, and 90%+ chance you are going to make the same profit as everyone else. We're open to profits and most of us are ready to stack up our portfolio, atleast to be seeing significant figures. It's advisable never to get tire but bring on the good running profits. I think it's okay to invest 5%-10% of our money in meme coins, or even a small portion. we can't turn a blind eye that a small investment in meme coins can provide big profits. In as much as  you have your own personal decision to make you're good to go, for me I don't prefer investing on memecoins. I prefer investing in altcoins instead of meme, reason is because most of this altcoin has a better future. The price of bitcoin is going to change the price of other coins too and as you are describing that other altcoins will skyrocket too when bitcoin goes pump so yes it's true and it's negative impact also effect the price of other altcoins in opposite directions.

Today as the price of bitcoin is decreased so you can see easily that whole market has been turned into red because every coin is related with the price of bitcoin. For a project to be reliable, it does not mean it must increase in value during the bull run period. The value of a good coins must rely only on bull run. I have seen many coins that during the bull run period they did not pump but during the bear market the price started pumping. The pump of coins price always determine by investors funds invested.

For someone to know whether the coin is reliable or not, it doesn't fully depend on the price increase during a bull run; it depends on the team behind the project. In fact, many coins that do well in bull runs are pump and dump coins, and it is hard to pump for a long time. There are so many coins in the market and new ones keep coming which we need to understand that we can always buy and hold to try to earn some profits from them. Selecting a particular good coin from random of bad or scam coin can be very difficulty and we need to be wise when making decisions about what coin to buy and what coin not to buy. We can always make money from buying good coins but the problems comes in when we  don't know how to identify good coins in the market. If we still want to make money then we have to be prepared to join coins or community that would keep updating us on recent new tokens to buy.

Most people believe in diversification and that is why they buying other coins after the halving. And another thing I also think of is the All Time High before the halving. Bitcoin hit 73k$ before the halving and the prediction was bitcoin would faced some elements of bearish before and the halving period but the opposite was the case and after the halving the price of bitcoin started to decline and that made many people to started to invest in other altcoins thinking that they would do well in the market but irony was the case again.

But I'd say that we don't fully rely on them as the market has its own factor and basis on how it shall move. While those predictions are no doubt moving the market and affects it.

Really to know a good or bad project is hard and that is why it is not good to invest any memecoin we come across in the crypto world. The coins in the world is too many that the good ones have gone under the bad ones so it is the bad ones that are floating around the cryptocurrency space. So when the good ones come, we take all as bad ones because we have been scammed, or failed from those ordinal memecoins.
But those have lucky profit it from some the coins came out newly. And because of all those scam coins when the good cons come out we think it is also among the bad ones so we left them. And that was how many of us missed the Notcoin.

You're right crypto market is very hard to predict, though there are some people that makes accurate prediction about the movement of coins in the market. I think sometimes it works out of guessing, is just like those who normally play gamble they can just make predictions, at this point they don't know what will be the outcome. but they  always hope to get good outcome, sometimes it can work out exactly their prediction that's if luck is on their side, sometimes thier prediction can also fail that's just exactly how crypto market works most times.
