Title: Upgrading offline usb with Tails OS Post by: jtx71 on April 12, 2024, 03:34:38 PM I know there is a way that you can upgrade an offline usb with Tails by cloning from another usb with the latest version.
My question is: by using this method, would you only upgrade the OS without any other changes in configuration? Would the persistent storage of the offline usb be preserved entirely? Thx! See please section "4/4 Upgrade your Tails by cloning" of the mentioned URL and you'll see the available options during the upgrade stage:

The doubt came when I talked to some friends and said some things may be changed according to the configuration of the usb with the latest version of Tails.Thank u!
