Title: Problems with BRC-20 Tokens on Trust Wallet
Post by: ShinyStarPrincess on April 16, 2024, 07:09:11 PM
Sorry for interrupting but I have an issue. I received some TX20 Tokens on Trust Wallet, but unfortunately, I cannot see them. I added the token manually and still doesn't appear. I check the Ordinals scans and all reflect that the tokens are there but I can't see it in any way on the wallet

Some of the few wallets that I know accept and support BRC-20 tokens are wallets like Bitkeep, which have been rebranded to Bitget and are owned by the known Bitget exchange, and the other one is OKX wallet owned by the known OKX Exchange wallet, which highly supports BRC-20 tokens.

You can view them, transfer them, and why use that wallet, but they are both close-source wallets, just like Trust wallet, so you need to be careful when using them. I don't know about Metamask if it supports BRC-20 tokens; if not, it could have been the best recommended.

Trust wallets lack a lot of things aside from being closed source, and one thing you also need to know before using any other wallet is that the more you import your seed phrase or private key into other wallets, the more likely you are to get that wallet compromise.

how did you get the TX20 token? And how did you send it to your trustwallet?

I found a youtube video and it seems you can only send it using the BSC network if it was sent to the BTC address then you did it wrong.

Check this video below I just found it when trying to look for the solution.

You better look for another wallet that supports the BRC20 token like I think unisats you can import your keys from trustwallet into unisats wallet.

Exchanges and their custom wallets are the only ones that I know that support this BRC20 tokens. The MetaMask you asked of cannot support Those BRC20 tokens because they are build on bitcoin network and Metamask supports coins on Ethereum network or tokens build only on EVM networks that’s why you don’t see it supporting even the Solana network based tokens. BRC20 tokens can only metamask when they expand their support to bitcoin network.

If you share the BTC address you can. Since March of this year Trust Wallet Supports BRC-20 Tokens

They should be supporting because BTC address and BNB address are totally different so if you try to replace one with another will give incompatible while sending itself. So you have checked the wallet address is showing tokens on the explorer means you haven't successfully added the token.

If possible you can try the wallet recommended to import and see if it works.

It's there has some potential, the token only can be visible for the tokens are officially listed to them.

If not wrong, (Trust-Wallet) have contact support. But off course, their answer is always based template word from their information page. My advice for you, to seek some ask or help in (TX20 Token) community.

Ask them, about (TX20-Token) in BRC-20 Token. You will get at least a good answer based the community it self.

Some time ago I also experienced a problem in my Trust Wallet, when I received certain tokens, it was not reflected in the Trust Wallet. Searched for resolutions from their own forums and from Reddit, but neither helped. If you've done the steps you should but it hasn't worked, then one way to solve the problem is to contact Trust Wallet support, and if that doesn't solve anything, it's better for you to go to another non-custodial wallet that supports BRC-20.

Some wallets that are very compatible with the BRC-20 token type are:
1. Xverse
2. UniSat
3. Ordinals

Two things may be the reasons why you're not seeing it, maybe the transaction has not been confirmed yet, or secondly, if you're not  on the same receiving wallet address used for that transaction, it might be that you have important another wallet on your device or address as well, lastly, i hope its not the kind of free offers to receive coins from some of the social media called influencers, they may hack your wallet if you link it through their link provided for you to use in claiming the free coins they promised.

If Trust wallet supports BRC 20 tokens and as you say you can see them on the blockchain then definitely you have not added the token details correctly on your trust wallet. There cannot be anything other than not being able to add custom token in the wallet. If you have added it correctly according to you then I would recommend that you ask your question from the trust wallet community //t.me/trustwallet
