(whether that's what the OP intended or not is another matter). it's equivalent to 12/22/2011 00:00 GMT in fact, since it's midnight, the time part can be ommitted altogether and the deadline re-written as: 12/22/2011 GMT ...which would mean betting closes at the exact instant the date changes from 21 to 22 (GMT).
