There's going to be no reversal because price has already mitigated a powerful order block which was why it had that first bounce we saw as uptrend but now that it is falling again, don't expect that that same order block that has already been mitigated can hold again, I don't think it will hold because it has already been tested and it is very unlikely to hold. My speculation is that this month is going to end bearish unless there's a situation that will cause that not to happen and it is also unlikely, if we go down to $55k, we should buy more and hold.

There'd definitely be a reversal, but that wouldn't happen now. We are in a bear market and that is the reality. I don't get why you sound frustrated about this anyway, this is not at all unsual. The bitcoin market is cyclical as you ought to know, and we experienced the bull market that has just come to an end and now it is the bear period, it is normal and doesn't call for panic. If anything it calls for accumulation in this period, in anticipation for the next bull market.

So far, the response by the bulls has not convinced me that a reversal is imminent or ongoing.

Interestingly, the price sought to surge to 68K at first, but was once again hit over the head at US open.

That 60K will be broken is a given at this point, IMHO. In my view, the question is now whether this will finally reverse in the high or the low 50s.

Disclaimer: No financial advise, I don't trade, just interested in speculative banter.

I don't know how you analyze market conditions, but what are your preferences before saying the market is in a bearish condition? Are you waiting for BTC to go to $10 before considering it bearish?

About reversal, no one knows when reversal will happen since the market is unpredictable, because if anyone knew, everyone should be rich by now.
Looking for a reversal isn't easy; that is the strategy of some traders with a lower probability than trading with a trend.
However, there are some key market levels, and it's better to look for them in the weekly time frame to spot them. Those key levels have a high probability for reversal; if the market holds that price for a long period of time, then the chances for reversal are high.

One thing to note about this current bear market is that it is very orderly unlike what it used to be back then in 2022, and this suggests that the market is more matured even though it still looks boring from a traders standpoint.

I would like to think that this is a slow bleed stage, which should take longer to heal, probably when the price hits $50k margin. Any bounce right now is technically just a bull trap and it shouldn't be hard to tell, that's why the best option right now if you are tired of selling or trading short, is to HODL and accumulate more BTC until we are in the clear.

Yes, if you still have the spare money to do DCA, it's quite good, the price is low enough and waiting for $50k it may happen
because the maximum Downtrend price will reach $48k++ if indeed the decline continues, it will be a strong support in the next decline,

This slow decline is played by big players, they take advantage of the Crash moment to influence retail traders to immediately sell their holdings,
This is not only about the crash price, but the psychology of trading will also be at play.

So don't be swayed by FUD and some other pitfalls, just focus on buying now and doing DCA by waiting for the price to go to the lowest support, or just buy at every drop.

I am expecting a reverse but not yet this time. If the reverse has come, I think that will happen after a year or two when we go back to another cycle for the bull run. It's true that trading and being active in the market is tiresome but you don't have to do that daily. You can trade whenever you see the market and the opportunities that's within it. Because if you're not going to trade, you lose nothing and if you're going to accumulate but didn't do it, you lose the opportunity when you've seen it down already and didn't do something about it.

Looking at the 1w chart, I am wondering if we could be seeing something like the price action between February 23 and April 9, 2025, going forward.

Note the bullish divergence on the weekly RSI (select in "settings"), which occurred before the price reversal happened.

Why are you still asking about bearishness? When Bitcoin started to reach $80,000 and continued to fall, it was already in a bearish trend. As you can see, the current trend is downward, with the increase only being a correction before another decline. Don't be surprised if the price eventually drops below $60,000 and so.on. Bearishness doesn't mean Bitcoin is only worth a few dollars, when the price has fallen quite far from the ATH it is because the market is bearish.

There is no need to look at the recent decline as unusual, this is a normal bear market as usual. We should not get discouraged or panicked at this time, it has happened in the past and it would not be wrong to say that this is the natural nature of Bitcoin. You will not always see Bitcoin in a bull market, you will have to experience a bear market at some point. I expect this market to recover, if it does not happen in the next few months then consider the market as a bear market and keep buying the dips.

It doesn't hurt to short if you want to but indeed the best way is just to wait it out but only if you're mentally prepared for long term hold. The market isn't even few weeks in a bearish season and you're already tired. I wonder what you're doing all these time when bitcoin were floating around $120k.
If you've been in the cycle multiple time already, why aren't you able to figure out that bitcoin won't be hitting all time high forever. it need some correction and go through cycle of bullish and bearish season. Even before the bear market, everybody keep saying to be prepared for the next bear market.

It makes no sense to look at charts all the time, when market goes bearish then it's better to not take any action and not even monitor the charts. Shorting is good only when you're a pretty good trader but if you're not good at trading then shorting isn't for you.

So I would say it's better to hold your position in spot market and wait for the reversal, and even if Bitcoin doesn't go high again and continues its bearish momentum then it's better to buy during each major dip to get a better average value.

One should never invest all in Bitcoin at one time, it's better to do it little by little or the best is to follow DCA strategy.

If you've been in this industry a couple of circles, what's happening now shouldn't scare you then. I've come to understand that no matter how Bitcoin price dips, it must surely rise. That's my consolation.

I laugh in Latin. If you're looking for a crystal ball for what direction Bitcoin is headed right now, I bet you won't find it here or anywhere else. Everyone here is a mere speculator at best. My position on Bitcoin right now is that of uncertainty. In the past, I would've been very certain to keep off the market at this moment but knowing right now that the rumours of war between the US and Iran is a contributing factor to this dip makes me think price can easily rally up if things are sorted out quickly. Now, I don't know what's next.

Traders in the current market conditions are indeed exhausted by the hope of profits in short selling, but for Bitcoin holdings, simply move the Bitcoin from Spot to a wallet while waiting for the trend reversal, as the trend reversal will occur but not in the near future.

I have already stated locally that expecting prices to rise is difficult. Not only is it challenging for Bitcoin to reach $100k, but even reaching $70k is very difficult. For me, the current market situation is something that was bound to happen, regardless of various issues and other factors considered to be triggers for the price decline to $64k.

Well, shorting the market will not make you feel bad even if you have a different Bitcoin just for hodling it, not trading it.
So for me, if you are a trader you must be prepared and ready to these kind of market, so even if you are shorting the market, you must not feel bad. Overall, you do not need to be biased on the market just because you have a spot Bitcoin holding.
So if you don't want to short the market, then don't trade for now or make any reason to long the market.

I know it wont be hitting all time high forever, but I am considering different scenarios before we did not have countries invest in it, so I was thinking it might be different but it seems like it does not matter what happens what positive info it will always repeat this cycle no matter what. I definetely prepared for bear and was selling in chunks all the tops that were there, but still I had little faith that this time its a bit different but time proved me it is not.

It seems that Bitcoin is struggling to return to $70,000. I find the topic question complicated to answer; in a market like cryptocurrencies, nothing is 100% confirmed. Even though they are not commonplace, we can have some surprises, especially given the current political and economic situation around the world.

You know, we have to understand the difference between investing in bitcoin in the long term and our profession as traders.
This is indeed a dilemma. For long-term Bitcoin holders, a price decline presents an opportunity to accumulate more. For traders, it’s an opportunity to short the futures market. This means we can still generate profits from the futures market and use those profits to accumulate more Bitcoin for the long term in the spot market.

However, issues arise if you are unwilling to see the value of your portfolio in the spot market continue to erode due to a bearish market. But if the Bitcoin held is intended for the long term from the start, it is actually not a problem if we face another bearish market. Remember, eventually the bullish market will return as well.

The Bitcoin market is currently in a state where political and economic conditions around the world are affecting the Bitcoin price. A Bitcoin bear market is always an opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoin. I don't know how you analyze the market, but I think you should avoid being overconfident and shorting in a bear market, because the market can reversal at any time and that will lead to bad results for you. Therefore, the bear market should be considered as preparation for the next bull market because the bear market provides investors with an opportunity to further increase their spot positions.

Well, DCA is always a good strategy while the market is in a bearish state. The benefits of holding it after 1 or 2 cycles are that you should be able to achieve more than 80% or more profits; the longer you hold it, the higher the chances of gaining an awesome profit is huge.

For now, we don't know if the $60k level is the bottom, but currently, based on the price action, it looks like it's in a consolidation phase while other altcoins are pumping too high, like Doge, which just pumped recently and reached 15% today. I don't see anything yet that influences altcoins to pump too high while BTC isn't.
Do you think altcoin season started?

Currently we have seen the market go down enough and we think that there has been a lot of decline at the moment. However, many still predict that the market is likely to continue to fall further if the market goes into the next recession, it will fall further. I think the last support Bitcoin price may fall within $50k, so we have to be prepared rather than disappointed and have to be patient. And when the market continues to fall, using DCA is the best strategy. If you have money, it will be the best way to invest.

If you tired, you needs to take a break and leaving the market for some months.

Even if bear markets confirmed, you can still accumulating and not just trading. I expecting reverse but I don't know when it comes. Instead just expecting, we can use this time to accumulating more, doing other things while waiting, or others so that will gives you time to prepare for the bull run.

That is one thing about bitcoin it is very vulnerable it is easily affected by a lot of factors but as investors every condition should be an opportunity for everyone to make use and the bear market did not start today so by now a lot of people are suppose to be use to what ever is playing out now and that is why when you are investing you don't believe everything you see because the market can change in no time and the greens you are seen can change to red and know people that know what to do to do when markets are like this they are already making plans to buy more because that is the only way you can boost your holding when market is in bear.

And the preparation for the next bull we might not know when it will happen, but when it happen a lot of people won't expect it, and when they are supposed to be taking advantage of everything they are scared of their money dropping, and what I see is that they don't have a investors kind of mindset they would have been doing everything possible just to buy and keep till the price of bitcoin will increase and that is how real investors behave.

The market moment right now go down and if you have much saving fund is time to buy back and accumulate as much as possible, I don't think the bitcoin trader will tired seeing how current bitcoin price still not stable and easily get crash suddenly. You know current political condition and many aspect from global economic decision make bitcoin not stable yet for awhile but its most expected moment waiting for by investor to accumulate bitcoin when price still dump.
Learn more when bitcoin more hype after raising higher price many people buying bitcoin and keep push their self to invest although bitcoin have raised higher, in my way right now is timing to accumulate bitcoin and take profit later around several month or at the end this year if bitcoin break out to higher price.

A reverse? I don't expect a reverse, but I expect a relief bounce just like what happened a few weeks after the big drop happened.

We saw Bitcoin went to as high as $98,000 before it got rejected, and after that, it went downwards to where it is right now. It really is frustrating to see your portfolio going down, and your profits disappearing because the market is continuously going down, but as of this moment, as long as you're in profit then your fine already. Now the question is that "Are you still in profit even you sell it right now?" because if not then it really is tiresome. :D

Anyway, you said that you're a trader so I assume that you make money from it already. Why not just hold your Bitcoins that are on spot, while trading and make money? I mean there's nothing wrong with it, right? You're making money on trading, and at the same time, you're still holding some Bitcoins for you to sell it on the next bull run cycle... probably on 2029. :D I don't expect for a reverse in the upcoming future, but I expect for the market to have a relief bounce before it goes down yet again.

That is if we carry the last year's dip but this year should be different, no wonder why some still thinks that the dip can continue. That is for the normal dip alone but a recession and other negative economic events can also cause for the market to crash. Imagine if they come together? Then the impact must be huge too. Being prepared and disappointed, sounds not the same.

But for one to not be disappointed, they should lessen their expectations. DCA is an act of continuous buying, doesn't matter if what is the market conditions are but the ones that is excited for buying at a dip, may not be using a DCA method. If there is a best buying strategy, I think that is still buying at the dip.

Most of the traders that are trying to squeeze profits on these times are the ones that are losing.
So, if you're going to short on this moment. No one is there to stop you and you're free to take advantage while you can.
Being tired looking at the charts makes you understand that it certainly is. Now, what you can do?
Accumulate, DCA and HODL.

Some traders might be trying to take advantage of the market right now and trying to look for a way to make profits but many might be losing but there are some that are making good profits from this same market that we are facing dips and bearish.
Some traders might be using the scalping method to make quick profits with the recent market volatility but it risky though but I would likely say that what you said is the right thing to do. DCA method and accumulating at this lows will be smart decision to take right now.

Yes, there's no doubt that there are traders taking the advantage of the market now. They might make some money out of it.
But, it's possible that the majority of them are losing money because of how volatile the market is right now.
We can't tell of how many of them will become successful in riding this season's volatility.
As the bear might have been confirmed already, it is the right time for everyone to start their own accumulation plans.

Given that there is still uncertainty in the market, the fear and greed index is very low, and manipulators are driving the BTC price back and forth, thereby liquidating both bullish and bearish positions, I think it is better to watch the market from the sidelines for now and wait for the right moment to enter.
It's evident that the bottom has not yet been reached, but personally, I don't like to short when the market is in such a state.

I agree, it's best to observe right now and see where the volatility will bring us from here now on.
I also don't want to see more shorts and dumps coming but that's very likely that we haven't seen the bottom yet.
If there are shorts who are trading right now, good luck with your positions. I am avoiding any decision right now and just wanting for more confirmation.
That's the best thing to be seen right now for me to avoid being liquidated or losing that spot position.

I am seriously tired of looking to charts like this, I am not new trader I have been here for couple years been trough some bear markets but I am just tired, I know I can make money shorting this, but that is also tiresome because I know I hold some BTC on spot.

What is your take on this guys, are you expecting reverse and why?

The market is looking frustrating both investors and traders are all panicking all that is happening because the market is falling. We all thought the market will continue to rise especially as things were looking very good and the general market was looking bad which means new investors should be looking for Bitcoin to invest or other cryptocurrency. But now, the cryptocurrency market is following other market to crash and that is making everybody to panic. Unfortunately we are soon to enter the beer market because we are one year ahead of the last bitcoin halving which happen in 2024. Last year the market was rising but then many of us thought the rice was going to stay longer than it did and that made us not to invest on time. Those that invested earlier are the ones winning right now and we are the one panicking because we did not make enough profit from the market let us not be delusional and think that the market is still going to rise further we may see some little recovery but that is not going to be for a long time because the market is going to continue to fall as more people panic and sell the cryptocurrency they have left.

Right now, trends are no longer the main market reference. No matter whether the market is in an uptrend or a downtrend, it’s still possible to generate profit through futures trading in any condition. Before this post, I also saw another post on social media showing profits from a short position. I think bullish momentum is no longer the only thing people wait for. In any market condition, if we have strong trading strategies, it doesn’t really matter.

Many analysts and experienced traders have noticed that fear and greed of bitcoin has turned into extreme fear (a 5-point horror level) as BTC has dropped to $66,000. The key level to keep an eye on is $60,000. There are 196,000 put contracts at this level, representing $13 billion in face value. A break below $60,000 risks triggering a cascading drawdown. And already in this case, we will have to recall the forecast of $ 40,000, which was recently given by analysts. But forecasts about 10k are already something completely fantastic, and bitcoin will not fall to such a price for sure.

It seems that the bearish investor sentiment has exhausted itself, which gives the price a break to consolidate in a sideways range, perhaps for a month, or even a rebound to the mid-70s, which is likely to be rejected.
This is because there is a strong bearish trend overall, with liquidity deteriorating in both the spot and futures markets. I have never seen BTC grow when both sources of liquidity are in a bearish trend.

If I had to make an educated guess, I would say that the fourth quarter would be a good time to end the bearish trend, and the first or second quarter of 2027 would be a good time for the bullish momentum to return.
Approximately $45,000 is a typical bear market low.
Bitcoin existed only during the long-term global macroeconomic bull market (2009-2026). If the global macroeconomic crisis ends, 30,000 is the support level, and 16,000 is the last line needed to maintain bitcoin's bullish trend.

There is a series that Bitcoin is like a rubber band stretched in a slingshot, and due to the conflict over Iran, this rubber band has been pulled even further.
There is a chart that clearly indicates the undervaluation of Bitcoin.
Judging by the harmonic Fourier model (predicts by its cycles), the fair price of Bitcoin is now more than $ 105,000. Its essence is to calculate something like the average value of cycles and the weighted average price, while the model sees Bitcoin's attraction to almost 4-year cycles.
The Harmonic FV chart also predicts a price of $105,000.
The lowest chart indicates that there is potential in prices, the power to bring the price now to the planned 105k.
And the deviation is now 46 percent.

The market will rebound back, it is matter of patience because such bear markets are happening to cycle back to the bull market. You cannot correctly predict when it is coming but you have to follow it as it goes. Buy at the low because the price is low right now.

You could try selling at the supposed high and then buying back at the low. It carries more risk at this time because no much difference is happening over time but you could still try.

Bear markets and bull markets are circular, you just have to be on toes.

Last days market has already received many reasons to fluctuate, and among them the loudest is the conflict in Iran. And as predicted in our branches, this caused a drop to 63k, but the market quickly worked out this movement back, which was also written about (the post says that the market likes to go in the other direction of the trend, which is not expected). In eight hours, Bitcoin even rose above the previous price.

And of course, the great news for crypto ETFs is the return of capital after five weeks of outflows. The placement of ETFs for Bitcoin in the United States interrupted a series of outflows. Bitcoin totaled +$787 million in the days from February 23-27.
The leader was BlackRock IBIT, which raised more than $559.4 million.
Now the amount of capital has increased to $82.4 billion.
If the inflow of funds is stable for several weeks in a row, it means that the final demand is returning and the main investors and traders do not want to let the price fall below 60 thousand. And most likely, they will buy back more actively on the falls.

However, it should be noted that financial markets have not yet reopened, so it is too early to say whether bitcoin has stopped falling. With only a few hour left until the market open, and we will soon know what the next trend for bitcoin will be as major investors react to the news about the war.

Over the past 5 weeks, nearly $4 billion has flowed out of bitcoin ETFs, if I remember correctly. With capital inflows reaching 787 million, this figure is still insufficient to offset the previous outflows.
In addition, the conflict is showing signs of escalating even more intensely. I am not optimistic about the current situation.

Well, it will probably take a few months for the market to reverse the trend. Meanwhile, in light of recent events, it's clear that bearish pressure on Bitcoin is only growing. Yes, there is a possibility that Bitcoin could pump above $70k in the short term, but that would not mean the end of the bearish trend. Personally, I expect the trend to start changing only after BTC falls below $60k.

Yeah..
Over the past 30 days, Bitcoin ETFs have been trading below their cost price. The current average cost is $82,777.
Last week, after five consecutive weeks of net outflows, there was a net inflow of $787 million as you notice. And that makes me happy.
But given the ongoing military situation, it remains unclear whether this trend will continue.
Any scenario can happen now. We all knew that gold would immediately skyrocket, taking away liquidity. Logically, it should not be good for Bitcoin.

Yeah no condition is permanent and that’s why we have to be sure that Bitcoin price won’t continue in this way everything has their own time with a little time it will recover from the current situation which can even reach the price that we didn’t expected, but some people’s don’t have patience that’s there rushing selling the bitcoin that they bought for a month’s ago just because the market is fluctuating.

Honestly this is a normal bear market that both the investors and traders suppose understand they don’t need to be discouraged with the current market conditions, if we remember last year I think the Bitcoin prices do worst than this and with time and patience everything comes back to normal in a positive direction.

Bitcoin reached back to $70k a while ago and it was a quick stand there.

We still have no idea how it goes. But for example again, with the thought of the markets going down because of the war.

We're seeing the complete opposite of it. I think that Israel's stock market is on ATH, same with gold and expect that the price of oil will also increase next week due to the blockage of the Strait Hormuz.

Bitcoin's liquidity is falling. And the drop in dynamics has been repeatedly mentioned as an alarming signal. It's not just the amount of global liquidity that matters, but whether it's growing or slowing down.
At the moment, both the growth dynamics and the overall growth in liquidity are weakening. Previously, the liquidity momentum was growing, while bitcoin was fluctuating or correcting, which was considered a bullish signal. Now the situation is reversed: bitcoin is slowly moving upward, while the momentum of liquidity and nominal growth are falling. Such a tailwind is not conducive to sustainable growth.
Even if the previously observed bullish divergence persists, a steady downward trend in liquidity is not a good sign.
Strong movements usually require growing liquidity.
There are signs that we are approaching the end of the liquidity struggle.

We have seen Bitcoin almost return to $70k twice. But before reaching it, the price fell again. Even before that, Bitcoin had dropped below $65k. We have been in a bearish trend since Bitcoin's decline after reaching its ATH. Although initially we believed the end of last year would be quite good for the market, what happened was the opposite. The end of last year became the start of the market downturn, and up until now, we have indeed been in a Bearish market.

I read people calling Bitcoin to even fall lower than $60k and they said that $60k is not a bottom of this bear market. I don't know how lower Bitcoin will be or it will recover from $60k to the ATH for a new market cycle. Likely if history repeats itself, the bear market will continue in many more months and possibly $60k is not the bottom but even it is the bottom, the market will need many months for recovery so $60k to $70k can be a boring range for Bitcoin in 2026.

But a longer time Bitcoin stucks in $60k to $70k range, is it good opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin that they always ask for?

A lot is happening all at once and there is a lot of uncertainty right now. Bitcoin is currently trading around $67k as i type this, which is not bad at all, considering the events of this past week, but nobody is sure if it will still plummet if investors continue the wave of buying safe-haven precious metals.

That said, oil prices would definitely rise, i believe Iran has already warned vessels not to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, so we'd have to see how long that lasts and also how prolonged this war would be. At this point, it is a full blown war, so i am not optimistic that it is ending soon. One thing is sure though, investors would definitely fancy precious metals right now, so it is bound to receive huge inflows in the coming weeks, which would be complemented by a pump in its price.

In the current situation, there is a vacillation among everyone about the market but I don't think there is anything very positive for those who are trading, though anything can happen. If a trader goes short at this time, then he is more likely to profit, but for those who have faith in Bitcoin for the long term, it will be difficult to consider a situation like short trading. They will definitely be in trouble. In this situation, no one can take long and even if they take short, it is not possible to take it confidently. In reality, we all know that if there is no reversal at this time and it will be difficult to get anything positive from the market as a trader. The trader must be patient because sometimes it is profitable to take a break from taking new trades. The trader should take a decision by observing the next market trend.

You can buy from the bear market and start watching the market to know if there will be profit when you trade, because you will not trade when you know there will be lost at the end of the trading. For those that have good knowledge of BTC and cryptocurrencies will not depends on people before they will know what to do in trading, because they will not going to take a step that will affect them in the future.

I hope you are not among the traders that is looking for millions to earn at once? If you are not such traders, you can trade to earn little profit, because the green light is still displaying to allow some traders to earn profit from their trading.

I think that we've got already the MOPS on how much price increase we'll have for the next week. Since the war has started just this week, we'll see the impact of it by next week.

We've got a glance of it from the market when Bitcoin pumped. As for the Strait of Hormuz, I think that they have an exception with China as their ally and a friend that they have whenever they need them, that's the only vessel of a country they're allowed to pass and the rest, not allowed.

Hopefully, the rebound will be in favor next week and the same goes for a ceasefire and end of this war.

Explain it to me, there is Iran war everything sounds really bad, and Bitcoin pumps from $62k to $70k... is this another manipulation?
Most likely yes, a manipulation and money moving from and to different markets.

That was 'almost return' but what we had a while ago, must be a real one, that Bitcoin truly reached $73k (finally). What we had before was a real trap but I think the recent one is a bit of that too, since many expects after it to continue, that they accompanied it with some actions and fail miserably. After the pump we had last time on Bitcoin, we also experienced some stability.

So, it may not be a direct bear but only just a correction. I think the reason on why we end the last year without a bang is because we also started well early? Imagine if it just continues like that, then it would also be too much and not seem to be fair anymore for a short time.

Investors all over the world are now seeing what people who have such a situation in their country prefer to "hide into" in practice. And once again, the choice of Bitcoin proves how useless stables are in this case, even if they have become widespread in recent years.

Negative : due to tensions, some global investors are withdrawing from risk, in fact, from BTC.
That's how the price swings.

Buying during dips is definitely the smart and positive way to make good profits from the bitcoin market either we plan on holding for long term or short term let always endeavor to buy during dips and lows. And of course if a trader want to trade and sees the entry won’t be satisfying or be of positive benefit and impact to him or her then such trader would just rather stay of the market and that just a good approach for a smart money trader.

Having the mindset to make millions and thousands at once in the cryptocurrency space is not a positive idea at all instead let make sure we are in no rush or hasty to make profits, let trust the process and stay patience so we can witness a good benefit and good profits from the market. Staying patient helps to aid more profits if we are on the right and perfect timing.

Any scenario can happen, and it could be due to manipulation. Or it could be that people are gradually realizing the potential of bitcoin as a safe haven and are buying it to protect their assets. Or it could be that the price of Bitcoin has dropped significantly and institutions realize it is time to accumulate again.

Bitcoin is inherently volatile and unpredictable, and its price can sometimes rise or fall without any apparent reason. So, do not be too concerned about it.

If you still believe in Bitcoin, all you need to do is buy and hold until you reach your target. Ignore short term fluctuations.

Yesterday, we tested the resistance at 74K, and before the opening of trading in the USA today, the bitcoin was held above 72K.
However, US stock indexes went down, and BTC followed them.
The VIX volatility index soared 15% to 24, while gold continued to decline.
Support at 70K looks solid.
For now. The main buying interest from major players is focused on 65K.Well, during the Asian session, the supply volume of 74k - 76k increased significantly.
It is unlikely that we will be able to break through these levels today.
And it is more likely that we will see outflows from crypto ETFs today.

Well, we were at 125k and now we are under 70k, getting close to 65k,  which is the proof that we are indeed in the bear market, what else do we need to know this. Not only that, but some people think it's already over, like we can recover very quickly, anyone who has been around long enough, would know that's not the case and that's not what's going to happen.

What we are going to see will be long term drop, so it will take another six months or so until we start to recover and starting going back up, maybe even a full year. The bottom will be around autumn of 2026 and not right now.

Anything can happen because the market was up before this down which I believe you also never expected it, so that can be what will happen when the market decides to favor you. But as you are holding Bitcoin on spot, if you have other sources of income, leave your Bitcoin and face other things, comeback when the market bounce back because you can’t get it right now. So as long as it is not on futures that you may fear getting liquidated, you just need to be patient and hold for a while until the market is stable.

Bear season is definitely certain. Because it has been happening since the birth of Bitcoin. No matter how big Bitcoin's ATH is, then there is a big correction and a bear season is seen. Then the whole market recovers again and creates new records. This happens in a 4-year cycle. And Bitcoin will definitely follow this pattern and these things have created more positivity about Bitcoin among people. I believe that bear season will come and the current price of Bitcoin is close to the bear season if you look at the price of ATH.

Bear market are inevitable, as they are a natural part of the financial market cycle, and Bitcoin is no exception. However, I think that with Bitcoin having dropped nearly 50% from its peak, it means we have already been in a bear market for some time

We are already in a bear market and it is still ongoing, just at a slower pace and with less intensity than previous cycles. In my prediction, we are even very close to the bottom. Therefore, this is a good time to accumulate, rather than waiting for price to fall further and thinking that the bear market has not arrived yet.

Indeed we don't need further proof to indicate that this is a bear run, the excitement last week when Bitcoin crossed $70k was short-lived and now we are back around where we were. Anything can still happen within a short term to see a rallying but like what we recently experienced there will be a strong resistence at some point that will pull price back to downtrends. What you can do now is buy the dip if you're holding Bitcoin because after all through the bear run it will recover and skyrocket, it is the reason why we all buying. The strategy for bear run is quite simple buy the dip and wait patiently for bull run.

This is what people are missing, they keep seeing some small recoveries and going up and they think that we are somehow back, but that's not the case, we are not back and we are not going to be back anytime soon. Bear market is well underway and the price will keep going down, we have to just accept that.

I do understand that it is not the same thing and we are having some differences between each other but as long as we have the market keep going down like this, bear is not over yet and will not be over. Market will recover with time, not with just daily movements, just because we see few days that are green, doesn't mean it's coming back, it will take a year or longer before we could end up with a lot better time.

As of now, the crypto market is slowly trying to recover as institutions and whales are accumulating bitcoin and ether.
Bitmine has also started ramping up their ETH holdings as mentioned by Tom Lee.
Could be a sign of recovery or a trap but sooner or later the crypto winter will be over.

I hope that it's not a trap and it's a sign of real and healthy recovery. This is what we need right now when most markets are down and the crude oil price is also increasing. That's the only way for us to recover when we're seeing everything is going red and the price of things are increasing due to the war. At least with that, we've got a consolation and a way to retaliate from what's happening in the global scale.

Oil market is rising and the stock market is falling, but the Bitcoin market is showing a positive trend. The market is trying to rise again. And this is likely to happen because big whales are now interested in the Bitcoin market from the stock market. They understand that if the world needs protection of assets at this critical moment, then Bitcoin investment is the only solution. Investment in Bitcoin by big investors is probably overcoming the crypto winter. People are now most concerned about the safety of their assets. In addition to protecting against inflation, Bitcoin must be accepted as a reliable investment. In this situation, prudent investors are starting their investments, as a reflection of which we can see the green candle of Bitcoin in this situation.

Bitcoin and crypto bear market confirmed?
IMO, confirming the trend is an often over-used concept in trading. Why? By the time people confirmed this Bear it was way to late to sell some assets near the top. Also, when the eventual big rally is finally confirmed it will be at a point way above the actual low. The post quoted below has the right idea to be buying some now, and more if it does go lower.

The whales from the other markets might have realized that it's still the best performing asset that with the past global incidents, Bitcoin stood and rose a lot. The protection of their wealth can be seen in Bitcoin and they have to choose what's right for them, and if they're going to look at the past years of Bitcoin by simply checking the charts. They have knew it that it is the best solution that they ever need while the other markets are crumbling and in blood bath.

The fear and greed index, which was 9 last month, 15 last week, 17 today, and 21 today (Fear).
Peak of fear:
February 5-8 (February 6) of this year, BTC is about $60 thousand, ETF outflows...
Mid-February: very deep fear (11-13), but immediately the first "buy a dip" and links to online sharks appear.
March: a slight shift to the positive, the index rose to 22-25, BTC rose to 74 thousand dollars, which caused the "bottom in the rear–view mirror", "shorts are compressed", "spring-summer recovery". Although society as a whole is bearish, sentiment is "fragile."
The fear has decreased, but it has not gone away. The crowd is waiting for confirmation.
This is one of the longest periods of intense fear: for 38 consecutive days (since the end of January 2026), with a record low on February 5th.

Why are you surprised?

There are many reasons for fear of fear: This is also about geopolitics, I'm talking about the US–Israel–Iran tension. This is also the macro, where the uncertainty of the Fed's rates, US debts, and the liquidity crunch;
In general, as you have noticed, we have had a bear market since October 2025, and the crypto market has already lost half of its capitalization.
The crowd is mostly frustrated, with many complaints about "emotional sales" and "bear market."
Contrarian optimism: "extreme fear = buying opportunity", "the bottom is already over", "shorts squeeze". Weak hands are squeezed out.
In general, the general vibe is not surrender, but "tested resilience" - veterans are holding on, newcomers are nervous.

In recent times, we can definitely confirm by looking at the Bitcoin charts that it is a bear market and the market has dropped a lot. However, if you are an old trader, then you should never get frustrated and tired of seeing such a situation in the market. Because it is normal for there to be instability in the market since the price of Bitcoin has already been dumped a lot, but we are still optimistic that the market will rise again. You may not think too much positively about the market, but because of negative thinking, you feel frustrated, which is why you have less patience for investment. You must be patient in trading and investing, if you are patient enough, do not get frustrated, avoid it.

I do think we are in the bear market, there is a strong resistance at the 72 - 74k price, so since price broke that level and went further down, whether we're seeing is just a retest to continue going down, so yeah, we're at the bear market, and besides price is like around ~50% down from its ATH (all time high), so it is clearly a bear market.

Now whether it will reverse or not, I think it is unlikely, with the macroeconomic news not looking favorably, and the break and retest of a previous demand zone, I feel it is not yet time for a reversal, and there haven't been any reversal signal yet so we're just hoping and waiting it out, but at the same time, accumulating in this bear market.

Note: these are just speculations and do not constitute any for of Financial advice, please DYOR, thanks.

Wholly agree with this, by the time the trend is confirmed there might be upcoming trend change on its way. It's rather useless activity in my opinion for a trader that actually trade daily.
The only way to find out upcoming rally before it happened is through supply and demand zone in the market even then its not really accurate. I'd say 60% likely to happen because its most of the time are self fulfilling prophecy.

Markets go through phases like this all the time and it can feel exhausting watching the same slow grind down. A lot of times what looks like a bear confirmation just turns into a long sideways accumulation before the next move. If you already hold BTC on spot it might be easier mentally to just zoom out a bit and stop trying to catch every short term move.

Those of us who have been involved with Bitcoin for a long time must be familiar with this Bitcoin market. So now the bear market is going on and after this time the Bull market will come again, this is the Bitcoin cycle that everyone is used to seeing. But one thing should always be remembered, in today's bear market, the price of Bitcoin was ATH at some point in the past. So there is nothing to be disappointed, the price of Bitcoin increases with time. So it is better not to panic and store Bitcoin at a low price, because the bull market will come again in the future.

Bear season is definitely certain. Because it has been happening since the birth of Bitcoin. No matter how big Bitcoin's ATH is, then there is a big correction and a bear season is seen. Then the whole market recovers again and creates new records.
I don’t know why people are always scared of bear season, by now anyone that has been in crypto space for some time should know that bear is normal, and we should always expect it. What most people want is just for bitcoin price to keep pumping, and they don’t want any decline in bitcoin price which is not possible. We know bitcoin is volatile in nature, so we should always expect pump and dump in bitcoin price, and whenever there is a crash in the market, people are suppose to be happy because that’s another opportunity for people to accumulate more bitcoin at cheaper price.

It feels like a bull market has begun, because the fear indexes are no longer what they were a couple of weeks ago. The response is positive on social media. But the resistance level is still being tested. Everything depends on the following events this week:
1. Meetings of the largest central banks, primarily the Fed.
2. Rising US/European inflation and a reassessment of the rate trajectory, followed by rising real yields and pressure on all long‑term assets (growth stocks and crypto).
3. Geopolitics: Escalation in the Middle East/around strategic shipping lanes. Will there be a jump in oil, an increase in inflation expectations...
4. Regulatory framework: any negative news on crypto regulation may locally turn on the "sell first, think later" mode.
Most likely, there will be increased volatility, increased trading volumes and continued capital rotation.
In general, lets read the feed and see what's next.

If you feels tired, you can take a break and leaves the market so that will release your stress watching the market and refresh your minds. You don't have to watch the market all day long but manage your time and just check the market and see how good the movements.

If the move is still not good, you can leave it and do something so your attention can distract and you can leaving the market without hesitation. We don't know for sure what happens to the market, some says the price will still increasing. But we don't know what will happens so we should prepares for anything happens and adapt the current situation

I think since you are already tired of trading. So you can abstain for several months, this will save your energy and refresh your mind. As we all know, the Bitcoin market will not always remain the same and will not be stable. Since you have some btc in your spot balance, you can invest some more money. And I think, you should have used that time, which you have already failed. We are now in a bull market position, although there are now about 70 thousand positions. And that's why now the possibility of market reversal has increased several times.

I understand that the 70k+ situation made people hopeful, and it's always good to have people who are hopeful. But you also need to remember that we are not going to end up with a good return for a long time, and this is just a bear trap and will not last long. There is a war, and oil prices are high, and there is a big possibility of inflation, all of these made bitcoin be higher for a while but when that's priced in, we are going to end up with sellers outweighing once more and won't be lasting long.

USA's unchanged FED rate impacted bitcoin market negatively today and not sure it will continue or war scenario will help bulls to dominate. At this time, we cannot say that we are in bear market because until we are not making lower low, we may assume that we have bottomed out and moved to the net stage of stagnant market condition.
