Title: Is my IP address blocked? Post by: Foxpup on April 05, 2014, 02:57:01 AM Because since April 2 I've been unable to connect to the site (timeout). At first I thought nothing of it since I saw numerous reports of the site being down, but just on a hunch I tried to connect over Tor, and... it works. So what's going on?

We've recently been seeing many IPs that drain tons of bandwidth or perform requests very quickly, so we've started banning some of these. You shouldn't have been banned unless you were doing something very unusual, though.
