How about you just send 0.005 to my wallet instead for your giveaway to be complete?

Damn, you should have said you are giving back 0.005 + 200/885*4-10000(1-.001)^9*0.21145/2331+0.00004-.00000490751

Just a small point, this simply proves to peope that you won't scam for 0.005 and not that there are members who are completely trustworthy. You statement I'm not going to 'throw away' this account simply highlights the fact that you value the trust on your account at a greater value than 0.005. However it does not prove that one can be trusted for far larger sums (ie 1 mill BTC). Basically what I'm trying to say is that 'trust' is only up to an extent of a certain monetary value - there are extremely few people who wouldn't throw away their morality for huge sums whereas most people would try to look honest when dealing with minute sums.

I wont throw away my account like that. I was saying to people like Wendigo that its just a little fun and I wont scam others. I havent so far and I dont intend to. Thats why I dont borrow money, or ask for any. This is one rare occasion where I ask for money (besides some auctions).

My point was that this game doesn't prove much in terms of trust. Theoretically if I offered you a $USD 500 mill loan with no means of tracking you/getting the funds back and no repercussions to failing to payback, how many people do you think would actually pay back the loan let alone with interest as intended.

Now I'm not accusing you of being a scammer, simply stating like loans for the purpose of trust - they don't really verify someone's trust.

I never did this for trust, I did it for fun. I see a lot of people get scammed by ponzis so I thought I should giveaway a tiny amount just for fun.

No problemo, just wanted to raise a point to help you realise that you should never be too trusting that's all. Not that anyone but you and me are reading this though lol. Too many long con scams over here.

Lol, :D. Sorry if there was any confusion with what I wrote. I re-read my post and it does seem to be about trust, but my point was just to run a nice little giveaway just for fun.

Nah, it's all good. Pity I have to warn people about trust, this place wasn't so bad when it started - guess humanity took over and the scammers made this place home eh. Nice to see some good souls around here though :)

Yeah, the moderators are atleast trying their best. They should ban all ponzis since they are all pretty much scams.

This is unfortunately a classic way long-conners work. Gain trust with a little risk then take the big bucks later.

BTW, not saying you’re untrustworthy or nefarious, nahtnam, but I agree with Light on all fronts  :).

It's the nature of the business. Bitcoin's advantages are also massive advantages to scammers.

Let's see how much can you trust a stranger you know nothing about over the internet.

You send me 0.01 BTC and I'll send 0.005 BTC in return, It's the same deal you mentioned above, but with you showing the trust first!

... ???

Let me guess? No! right?

You are a newbie, and I have been here much longer than you have. Most people know that for sr members, ritz is paying 0.0009 per posts. I get my money back after about 6 posts. Not a huge deal for me.

You can be the president of the board and I still wouldn't trust you with ma money..

..same way you wouldn't trust me.

No hard feelings mate, just common sense.

Don't preach what you can't practice.

As I mentioned in other posts, this was just a fun giveaway. If you don't really trust me with 0.005 btc, just ignore the thread.
