Title: Miner Client Help
Post by: IamYou on December 29, 2011, 04:52:22 PM
Hey All !

First post  :o

Anyway.. Lately i've been trying to mine some bitcoins for myself but it seems its proven to be more difficult then i thought..

Currently i'm using this program: link removed

But every time i open the darn thing it says "OpenCL driver not found".. What does this mean and how can i fix it? Is it just the program?

Cheers Guys,

IamYou

I have never head of GPUClusterMiner before.  Where did you find a link to that.  If you are getting OpenCL errors though it likely is more than just the time.  Have you tried another miner (cgminer for example).  Do you still get OpenCL error (or no GPU detected).

Which GPU are you using?  How many?
Which OS?  Which version of driver and SDK is installed?

Hey,

Thanks for the reply.. I got that link off a friend due to my horrible googling skills, Would you happen to have a link to a better miner ?

I've got a single 5970, Running Windows 7(:

Thanks heaps

ez-mode, does fine tuning for you, although you need some reading to set it up properly: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0

1) Don't install stuff from untrusted links.  You may have just installed a wallet stealing virus, keylogger, rootkit, or a trojan miner.

2) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=16125.0  (list of all current miners)

3) Use cgminer (links are in the list)
