With the new year winding down and a new one fast approaching its time for Bitcoin 2011 Awards!

Every winner in their category will get a Bitcoin Award Icon (can list on their website or avatar!) + a small amount of bitcoins as a reward.

So I got to watch all day as nominations were added, and delated by others. This is pointless.

So far

Senbakonasksdff sdfskdjf .gb (I never can remember his name) from the IBB was nominated on the Person of the year cat. I saw someone remove deepbit, slush and Arsbitcoin from the best pool and replace it with eligous. I watched names come and go on the blast awards as well.

It's just a list of nominations and then it will be voted upon.  Deepbit, Slush, and the other you mention are listed there.  Also, most of these have already been put into a "voting poll" so don't worry about things being deleted. Plus I have a back-up copy ;)

I've done one nomination, but it does look quite easy to delete everything.

I have a back-up - and most of the nominees have already been added to "polls" so its safe there also. I had the same worry.

Was there a clean-up of the nominations?  Some of the ones I saw last week are gone - just curious.

I went with the last copy I saved there is just noway to stop vandalization  :(  So I went with the latest copy I had. If you see something missing PM me. Thanks!

haha actually at one point you were listed as "best forum member"  not sure what happened ;)  Atlas, Luke-Jr have you beat so far! I hope you when you get some bity bitcoins if you do at least aha!

So, how was the decision for my exclusion from that list made again?

I went with the "last revision" I had since there was so much vandelism going on  I just went with the last one I had. I just checked for duplicates and played impartial and put it "live" and let god sort it out. Next time around I'll have some help I hope?
