DETAILS:

Each BLADE comes with 2 boards each with 40 GC3355 55nm Chips (Total 80 Chips) offering very low power consumption.

Total power usage is approximately 90W

Total hashing power of at least 5.2 MH using HASHRA BLADE CONTROLA firmware.
Please note the BLADE you get will be black in colour with Gridseed logo, the Aluminium and Red BLADE in the pics was sent to us from Gridseed for testing purposes.

Do you need a RaspPi to run the blades? Or will a Linux/Windows PC work also?

The pictures show an SD card so I assume it uses an rPi.  But it doesn't seem like one is supplied nor the PSU.

Linux/Windows PC will work, but with different firmware. Our own firmware only works with a RasPi.

Two questions:

How are you selling so much lower than other official distributors of Gridseed? (i.e. Hash-Master @ $2,290; GAWMiners @$2,995)

Does the existing firmware/OS that you have on the site natively work with the Blades or will I need to re-image my SD card?

I watch closely the price on the chinese site and here. I think the price is right and other official distributor not yet change their price because gridseed recently just announce promotion price. This is actually not a bad deal given it is in stock. I wish I have the money to buy.  I am sure LTC will rise pretty soon...

We have a depot in Shenzhen and we commit to a large volume of them, so we got a nice deal from Gridseed and now the saving is passed onto you : )

The SD card we provide will contain the BLADE CONTROLA custom made for the blades, we will put a video up shortly : )

Just a warning for those who might place an order on hashra.com

If you are making the purchase with bitcoins DO NOT USE COINBASE to send the payment! Send to your wallet first and wait for everything to be fully confirmed.

I sent the payment via Coinbase for a Gridseed Blade Plus via the BTC checkout. Coinbase took FOREVER to send the transaction (hours.) By the time they finally sent the bitcoins, the payment address for my hashra order had expired. I had already sent to that address with no way to cancel.... >:(

so... now I am hoping the folks at hashra.com can work things out with their BTC payment provider (bips.me) to get the payment properly assigned to my order... <sigh>

Now I get to find out if hashra.com and bips.me can be trusted!  :o

Yeah, I did a web search for similar situations and I found that this happens all the time (as you can imagine.)

All of the cases I saw were resolved by the seller working with their BTC payment processor (Bitpay, bips.me) to assign the payment to the appropriate order.

I have high hopes, I am just waiting to hear from HASHRA.  :-\

Convert LTC to BTC?!?!  ??? ??? ??? ???

I just wanted to update everyone on my situation. HASHRA has contacted me multiple times re: my order. Also, I just received an update that my order has now had my payment applied!

So far I have been VERY impressed with HASHRA's response to my dilemma and I feel that they can be fully trusted. I hope that helps for anyone that is considering ordering!!  ;D

Why would I do that ?

Mining LTC - fee 0.5% -> transfer from pool to wallet 0.01 LTC -> Transfer from wallet to BTC-E cost ? LTC -> BTC-E charges ??

I do buy BTC miners with Bitcoin and LTC miners with LTC :)

I'm sure that there will be a company which sells these for LTC. 

Really can't argue with that logic, I hate having to convert LTC to BTC at times... its really not about the money, but more so the time it wastes... Transferring LTC into BTC-e takes 15 minutes to confirm, then transfer to BTC, then from BTC to your account takes another 10-20 minutes to confirm, then transferring to intended address takes another 10 -20 minutes... Its more annoying then money

10 transfers and an 1 hour of my life. Cost and time :)
Companies are more than happy to transfer these two important things on us BUT thankfully we are able to pick and choose as to who will get our money :)

My experience:
It took about 2 days for them to ship after payment. I paid with BTC on 21st Apr and the status changed to "Shipped" on 23rd, yesterday.

I believed this:

Now it took over 24 hours since changed to "Shipped", but I can't track my package with the issued tracking number... I also tried calling the shipping company but the support staff said that the number is not registered yet and advised me to ask the sender about the situation. I already sent a message to a Hashra support staff 4 hours ago and no response yet...

My order status now Awaiting Shipment.
hashra said my order will be delivered tomorrow.

um what about escrow? Sorry but I don't feel comfortable ordering without it.

Hashra has improved their shipping time frame drastically in the last month and a half or so... thumbs up!

Finally I could track my package with the issued tracking number. It's still in China, so it will take a few more days for me to receive it...

I thought they will use DHL.

Its out of their hands once they ship it to a carrier, so all that delay was probably going to local facilities.

EMS is actually really slow, and they probably give it to DHL or someone else to take it from there.

I`m speaking from experience of buying "cell phones" from china and got it from USPS by EMS.
