Title: Hawthorn Post by: Kiki112 on April 12, 2014, 01:35:36 PM As I read it's one of the most beneficial fruit for your heart, it improves the strenght of your arteries, your circulation and has plenty of vitamin E.
Have you ever tried it, do you like it, did you notice some benefits from it? Title: Re: Hawthorn Post by: zolace on April 12, 2014, 01:55:51 PM Yes ,this fruit is rich in vitamin C,remarkable for heart failure, post-infarction recovery, heart valve diseases, dyspnea, lesions from previous heart attacks, palpitations, angina, blood pressure, heart inflammation, blood clots, arteriosclerosis, heart wear and tear, and overall heart weakness. You can grow the tree yourself !
The thing is that you can't take it from tree and eat it,it has no taste ,the best way to use it is to dry the fruits and then make tea of it,you can also make sirup and jam . Title: Re: Hawthorn Post by: hilariousandco on April 12, 2014, 01:58:26 PM I've never even heard of it. You say it has no taste?
Title: Re: Hawthorn Post by: zolace on April 12, 2014, 02:03:38 PM it has no taste, and if you try to eat it has some type of fluff inside that it gives you inches when you go to toilet.I know this because i did the mistake to taste it,but the tea is great ,is like lemon tea,and the jam is super delicious!

Cannot say I enjoyed any of them. It has a very special taste and I felt a bit ill when I swallowed it. Actually it almost made me vomit. However a lot of people I know like it a lot. I know that it has a lot of good health effect, therefore it grew really popular in Sweden a few years ago. Hope you get cured! :)
