I want to agree with you .. but it may be too challenging in this case .. its like do you really need to know all of a car's internals in order to drive a car? This miner may not fare worse than the 2 protected & paid miners that supposedly are better.

But I dislike the near monopoly of the network hash power and their frequency of being down a lot, even with ddos protection. They need pools to bounce miners off once 51% of the hash at a pool until it's under 51% with some kind of software feature, like a hash rate throttling of sorts.
