Title: Bandwidth Post by: segovro on January 09, 2012, 05:23:32 PM I installed Bitcoin 0.5.1 a few days ago. I activated the "Directory". It started to update the directory. 48 hours later, some 50 Gb interchanged, and a warnig by my Internet provider that I had conusmed my download and upload monthly capacity, and "directory" still showing 92%, I aborted, and unistalled Bitcoin.

What is it supposed to do? As I said, it was not a 1 Gb download, it was like 50 Gb total up and down traffic.
