Title: DANGER: BRAIN EXPLODES, LOL
Post by: Ged on April 22, 2014, 03:36:48 AM
Guys.. I saw that 'wireless electricity' comes on:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksp_O_1WmvA - make electrostatic motor from junk.
This stuff can power up a  economy-12-watt-lamp ?
Or somehow charge phone battery ?
I also know that there is a theory of wireless electricity system ignoring distance..
What if this should be inside the theme of cryptocurrency - if we get this stuff to charge mobile phones, it will spread about the world fast, IMO.
+Guys who got miners can remake them so they can produce electricity somehow.
Please, let's talk about it. If it works, it's fu*ing awesome, no ?
Also 'wallet' can be a wifi-router mehsnet with password lock..

??? It doesn't power anything. It consumes power from the generator. You know, the same way all electric motors work.

There's no such theory. Look how close the electrodes are to the rotor. If the distance is too great, it doesn't work (the video actually states that the distance must be as small as possible).

Please, let's talk about it. If it works, it's fu*ing awesome, no ?
It works, but it doesn't produce energy. High voltage equipment is always awesome, but awesomeness doesn't translate to practicality.

What about this ?

What about it? High voltage current can cross significant air gaps. Everyone knows that. Try it at a higher enough power level to do something useful and you've got yourself a death ray (which kinda limits your potential applications outside of perimeter control). Oh yeah, and it turns out high voltage generators consume an awful lot of energy. Who'd have thought?

And there is no way to cheat that ?
I mean, people cheat gravity, cheat sickness, cheat death sometimes.
People cheat nature and make giant plants. People cheat mathematics and got Bitcoin.
You think it's impossible to make it work another way?
What if make that way: when motor rolls, it touches material that create statical energy and other motor consumes it ?
I'm newbie in that stuff,

No.

No they don't. In all cases where gravity, sickness, and death are defeated, everyone involved is playing by the rules. Nature cannot be cheated.

People cheat nature and make giant plants.
What rule of nature precludes giant plants?

People cheat mathematics and got Bitcoin.
Likewise, what rule of mathematics precludes Bitcoin?

You think it's impossible to make it work another way?
What if make that way: when motor rolls, it touches material that create statical energy and other motor consumes it ?
Conservation of energy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservation_of_energy) doesn't mean turning out the lights to save on your power bill.

I'm newbie in that stuff,
Protip: Learn about a subject before speaking about it. You'll sound smarter that way.

Ok, lets take a look.

Unverified eh, lets give it a chance...

In physics, the law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system cannot change—it is said to be conserved over time.

No system is isolated, that's an idealized concept.

Conclusion: the black hole at the centre of the galaxy is the ultimate source of power and turning out the lights will in fact save you money on your power bills.

I'm not even ...gonna ...

Welcome to 19 century ... I mean really <.<, we'll should be a fun and practical exercise for primary and secondary school students and a good initiation to electromagnetism
