I'm trying to make it different by making it a fee free service not sure how much if at all he charges. It will work by whatever the last price on mtgox is is what you pay for the game. ie you want to buy portal 2 portal 2 is $44.99 currently mtgox last price is .986 it would be 45.6288 and we would round up the second decimal so you would send 45.63. I would be needing the BTC up front unless you are well trusted and request to pay after. Any questions let me know, you can either PM me with details or post here I usually log on to the forums multiple times a day.
Edit: I am also doing the same thing for US iTunes gift cards as well same terms last price on mtgox. I figure it's like building a credit rating if I ever need a loan of bitcoins I would probably have to pay less then a person with 1 post.
