The real Kill-a-Watt to the best of my knowledge don't offer a model like that. Not saying it's bad but it's probably from China and available super cheap on eBay. Only thing you need to be sure of before buying is that it handles 120V as well. Having an international plug may indicate that it's 240V and finding dual-voltage Kill-a-Watts is no easy task. I tried because I'm in Thailand (240V) but wanted one good for back home too (120V).

Good for measuring your TV set etc. You definitely want the 3000W one. Strange they put an international socket when it only supports 90-150V range. Maybe in South America they have Euro/UK style plugs with 120V? Otherwise, in the most of the world it's just an invitation to burn it out by thinking it accepts 240V when it doesn't.
