OK... so now we have a courier service as well. So many companies accepting Bitcoin payments... but the BTC vs USD and BTC vs EUR exchange rates still going down the drain.

P4D Courier Service, one of Great Britain’s largest courier services, has announced that it is now accepting payments in Bitcoin. In its announcement the courier company said that it also provides delivery options at discounted prices within the United Kingdom. It said that with Bitcoin, P4D can keep prices even lower, as transaction fees are almost non-existent

That's interesting but I've never heard of them. Hopefully more firms would follow suit.

Note that they aren't actually a courier company (let alone one of the largest in the UK, as claimed in one of the press releases), they are a reseller of other courier companies.
That is actually the easiest way to get BTC accepted, as you don't need the large companies to change anything, just the resellers.

Ah, that makes sense. If this is a success maybe individual companies will offer it as an option. There doesn't seem to be much of a risk for merchants if they use a payment processor so I can't see why not if it's still cheaper than paying credit card fees.
