Everyone converts junk coins for BTC and cash out when they want. You can see this by looking at the exchanges and the value of the coins over time.... X11 have some suspicious miners (FPGA miners probably). But Scrypt-N is power hungry and if you want to save electricity bill , you can mine Darkcoin which is x11.

X-11 may be better for cooler operation but it's actually easier to build asic for it. The problem with scrypt-n is that if N go too high, you can't mine it well with GPU.. So no, it is not the best.. That is assuming GPU development is stagnant. Which is so unlikely considering the r&d budget amd and nvidia has.
