RuPay has been launched and I see all the news around.

I doubt whether foreign CC companies will accept RuPay...

If 17% of the world starts using it, then i believe even foreign companies will start accepting it. I am not sure what you mean by foreign CC companies?

i visited rupay .com and its russian site ;)   gov always lacks in getting names b4 project announcement

rupay.com was booked on September 17, 2002. I guess it will run on either .gov.in or .nic.in.

CC = Credit Card
Um ok what has foreign CC companies to do with rupay? It should be the foreign POS that should start accepting it
Or you mean you are doubting the integration with foreign CC companies?

and Google gives more priority to .gov.in or .nic.in over .com/.in

China, Russia and now India got national payment systems. New reserve currencies are Yuan, Rubble and Rupee?
